Good prices better pics than some big grocery stores cashiers are friendly willing to help

The store on 4th street in lorain was one of my favorites but lately it has become a security issue for my family and I. It looks like a homeless shelter now. Right by the shopping carts you have these people asking for money all the time and if you say no they become very aggressive and even follow me to the car. This store is only a few blocks from my home but now i have to drive to amherst or the one by 57th just so my family and i can feel safe and have a positive shopping experience.

Relatively clean and items well organized.

Honestly Lorain sucks Save a lot has a small selection but if you drive to like Sheffield or avon You have honestly better stores. also This is just a Dollar store but red and with food in it Very Unique

The new guy Mike is so awesome. He bagged my grocerys while scanning it. He talked sports with my kids and challenge my oldest son to a race. Great personality please find away to keep him.

OK I usually dont have an issue with this location! But I am starting to notice the produce quality has declined. I brought the $4.99 bag of potatoes and its only been four days! Went to use some of them today and noticed maggots in the bag! When I brought them I noticed the were moist and most of the produce either is molded or mildewed! Come on man!

Place denied my coupon . That i used befor, shady practices. Dont go here with coupons they wont honor them even though there legit

I have only been in this store 2 times. But it was clean and had a good selection. Nobody was rude Ill update this if anything changes.

There is a lady that not wearing a mask overthere and she is the one that yelling on people you cant enter the store with out a mask!!! Yes I admit that I forgot my mask and right the way try to call my friend to brought me one I left in my car,from the store but I went quickly to grab one because my friend took time to bring me one,even when I want a help for my grocery i had, i try to call my friend in, to help me, she wasnt wearing a mask I told her to wait me out side and when I will finish to check-out she may come in quickly to grab some grocery for me.i try to bring my grocery in the saver basket out side because I got all my hand full of item, I put the red basket in my back of my car in order to easily unloading my grocery and return the red basket, the other lady(no the Spanish one ) follow me out side and yelling on me dont take that red basket with you!!!! I told him I dont have any need of this !! I just try to unloading my stuff and she asked me to give her the bag,while she was approaching my car,I told her thank you I will return it my self thanks.So, the cashier didnt have any mask and they put her a the cashier position, she is touching all customers foods without gloves or mask, I tried to let her know that working at the cashiers positions its very unsafe if you dont have a mask on you and you may put yourself and customers in danger,even when you got doctor recommandation to not wear a mask (this is what the other lady said she dont have to wear a mask she has a doctor recommandation)if is the case please,dont work at the cashier please,your are touching foods, drinks from all kinds customers and they even dont have any sanitizer i could see where you can see the cashier try to sanitizer her hand after touching differents articles from all customers, its not thing about any race just because I dont know her name,she is a Spanish woman and not respectful that all for people.i would make sure that next time any of my family members go over there she is not the one on cashier position.😷 with out any mask or gloves or sanitizer!This is happened yesterday Saturday13 septembre 2020, between 8pm and 9pmThat was sad because a policeman was there and I noticed that thanks God he had his mask on him(but he couldnt do anything or said anything he was there watching a scene i knew probably that he knew i was right that why he didnt do anything to stop me )and the other worker lady has her mask too only the cashier didnt have any mask or gloves or sanitizer, please if you guys(staff of saver a lot) have a video you can visualize the scene.she started yelping and treating me in public at the front of the police men that she didnt have to wear a mask!!! Really!!!!!.sadSorry but the covid19 is not a joke!!!! That why i didnt hesitate to found one when she asked me.but she was the one who didnt follow the covid19 précision.But I love save a lot and price and products are awesome.i am a very loyal customer since I came here in America 🇺🇸 in 2012. And I use to shop at all locations when I have chance to go to.

The staff was incredibly helpful and I just want to say Thank you to the gentlemen that was working that helped me while I was shopping in uniform. I really appreciate you and the work you do, thank you. The store was exceptionally well kept and organized, products were fully stocked and easy to locate. My great shopping experience was on November 3rd, 2019.

So I needed to know if our local Save A Lot or Sals as I like to refer to SAL as that. I called to ask if they sold Alfalfa sprouts. Now thinking I was going to get a record message a lady answered the phone so I asked if they carried Alfalfa sprouts. Sadly they do not. However the fact that an actual person answered the phone is 5 stars in my book. Not often anymore these days that you get real time customer service.

Are you kidding me? Two guys ruined the store while I was there. One was coated with something. He showed up on bike. He walked in and disappeared. The other guy let stuff leak off his gym bag. He was grocery shopping with a gym bag not stealing(if you can believe that) then would turn the bottom of his bag (had holes in it) towards the stuff and hit me and whatever was venting off his bag and light it up. It was like fumes but bouncing and popping everywhere. Covered the hole store. Walked up and down the aisles... Im not sure what the police are doing.

Becoming overpriced and if you want Spanish stuff theyre just put all that in there

Nice little neighborhood store. The store is clean and the shelves were neat and well stocked, the prices are reasonable. Nice to see that they hire people with special needs.To the person who threw their boxes on the ground just outside my car door, you are a jerk.

If you are looking for saving theyve got it but if you are looking for name brand there are very few. Not much of a product selection but popular among the locals.

Save A Lot is my go to place. Not only is it right down the street from my house and is convenient, but it is incredibly cheap for the quality of food that they have. Good meat and produce. Cant go wrong. Its a win win. Going to Wal-Mart is overrated and expensive compared to Dave A Lot. Im in and out and didnt break the bank.

Needs more staff. More veggies and fruit selection would be nice. Prices good

It was not okay for me. The first time I went here, the rotten fruit smell was unappetizing, so I left. The second time I was looking for food for my mom. There was almost no name brand items, which my mom insists purchasing. And for a good reason! I bought her the rice Krunchies and it was a soggy mess! The place was clean and decent inside. The cashier was sweet and friendly. I thought it would be more like a warehouse grocer, but it is more like a generic convenient store.

I love the employees here. Theyre always so nice. Feel like family.

.This particular time ( and mind you, this is a holiday weekend) they didnt have a lot of their sale items. They did seem to have more help than usual.
