I am about to hit the 3 month mark for my cpap and am in full compliance and have confirmation letters from my insurance of full coverage (that’s their excuse actually). And yet, this company has refused to send a single monthly replacement. Then I was told to go to the Lorton location to purchase supplies out of pocket in the meantime and Lorton says they don’t have any supplies there. This company is by far one of the most horrible mail order companies I have had to deal with on anything. I have a very leaky mask that causes me to constantly wake up and no way to get a new mask or tube after almost 3 months of daily use! I will be reporting this company to my insurance, Medicare, FBI, FDA, FTC, and any other governmental agency that applies for fraudulent practices/ healthcare fraud since they are being paid but refusing to provide services paid for. I will also be contacting my doctor to switch the prescription to another company. Stay away from this company.

Horrible service I tried to get help regarding a recall on my medical device the lady Dawn did not help me she just rushed me off the phone and gave me the runaround. I will be calling my doctor to change companies. She was rude and had an attitude. She may want to consider a new job field.

Had to change my previous so UPDATE! Run !!! don’t walk ! run away ! The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Dawn talked on top of me very stand-offish. guess she doesn’t like being wrong.I tried to explain my problem and she just would transfer me to a different department. I was told that is what they have, so that is what I would get. No trying to get me something else, just didn’t care. I will do without one before I spend 1penny with this company! Screw this place.

If I could give them a big fat ZERO I would, as well as my insurance company for referring me to them for a CPAP machine. It takes forever to get a hold of them lousy customer service. The lady who answered the phone was condescending and sounded like I was bothering her. Couldn’t catch her name but she was not pleasant by all means.

Spoke with a lady named Dawn was very hostile she did not want to help me and just rush me off the phone. Found her quite rude to be someone who is answering the phones.

Spoke with Dawn about getting my CPAP supplies. Terrible, put off, condescending attitude and very obvious she couldn’t have cared less about helping me. I got the feeling she was extremely annoyed to have to deal with me. Absolutely horrendous.

We have had great luck with American Home Patient. My MIL was released from the hospital late in the afternoon and had to come home with oxygen. They sent someone over from Lorton to Stafford to get the tanks and concentrator so we could go home with them. Ordering supplies has been easy and we get the supplies within three or four days.

The initial fitting was okay and the man knowledgeable. I have been waiting over 6 months for supplies. They cannot find my prescription, I need a different type of mask, goes on and on. I even made a trip to Lorton to speak with them.

These people are the worst suppliers around. If you are smart don’t use them. They do not work with the customer. They will give you the run around on sending you the correct supplies all they want is your money. DO NOT USE these people.

Please understand that we are serious when we say that this company does not even deserve one star. This is the worst customer service EVER!!! and I am not the type person to ever make a complaint. We have been waiting over two weeks for a Bi-Pap machine for my elderly mother who DESPERATELY needs it, even with multiple calls from us as well as the doctor who prescribed it, to no avail. They have not even called to set up an appointment! And we are trapped because there are few companies that take Medicare. Another dysfunctional institution using our tax dollars. What will cost Medicare more: having a stroke or getting a Bi-Pap machine? And does American Home Patient even care?

Horrible service. You will be better off if you can get your prescription from your doctor and finding your own service. They have terrible customer service, they overcharge you for everything, and similarly to previous reviews, nobody knows the answer to anything.

I went in for a fitting for a new mask months before my quarterly order. I then called twice to confirm my address and the ship date in early August. When nothing arrived I called and they told me they had trouble with my insurance and it was the same insurance I used before. Another week passed and I called. This time I was told a supervisor would call me back. Another week passed with no call so I called again and they said the order was shipped. When nothing arrived I called for the fourth time and got transferred to a company called Lincare. I asked if my order shipped and they said no so I asked them to cancel. They said they would but would send me free supplies due to their multiple errors.. I put in an order with another CPAP company and then my order from American Homepatient showed up! I checked my insurance and the supplies weren’t free and they were run through my insurance. Argh. I wore a dirty mask for an extra month and was still stuck with this lame company. I called to cancel my account again but who knows? I may need to call multiple times prior to my next quarterly order to make sure I don’t get screwed again!
