THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY THEY JUST DONT DO WHAT THEY SAY THERE GOIMG TO DO ( .BUYER BEWARE) AND THEY RIPPED ME OFF
Our home was personally-built by the original owner in the early 1940s, and nothing is plumb or level, so its not easy for contractors to work on. When my husband and I had to replace our 3 large picture windows (4x7), our friends highly recommended Seaport Windows and Doors. This has been the best contractor experience weve ever had--everyone at Seaport has given us superior customer service! Alex, the highly knowledgeable owner, assessed our job, educated us on the available products, gave us options, and then gave us a very good price in a written quote that clearly detailed an appropriate payment schedule. Alex also quickly responded to our emails when we had questions. The office staff kept us well-informed of where we were in the process of having custom windows made. And the installation crew, Jose and Leslie, were amazing! They called us each day to let us know what time they would arrive, and they were always on time or early. They were highly professional, hardworking, polite and pleasant. They kept me informed throughout the three day installation process, maintained an organized work environment, cleaned up at the end of each day, and respectfully answered all of my many questions (unlike many contractors who treat women as if they are brainless). I watched the entire process and it was a pleasure listening to Jose and Leslie logically solve the installation issues they encountered in our twisted home. And never once did I get the impression that they thought it was a difficult job even though I know just how difficult it is to work on our house. The windows look incredible! When we do the next part of our remodel, we plan on hiring Seaport to install our doors, casings, and trim. We highly recommend Seaport Windows and Doors!!
Seaport is phenomenal. They installed bi-folding doors in our house. They are beautiful and have completely enhanced the look and flow of our home. This was a big project that required significant construction. Usually significant construction interferes with your daily life, but not in this case. Seaport installed a dust wall which literally sealed off the construction. This allowed us to run our busy home without any interference from the construction. The Seaport staff is also spectacular. We knew what they would be doing day by day. Each day we would receive a call from the Seaport staff letting us know when they would be there and what they would be doing that day. Things like this really set Seaport apart from others. Finally, Seaport’s work product was top notch. I am still amazed that they cut a giant hole in our house and I can’t see any patch work. The stucco and internal drywall and texture coat are perfect and the doors themselves are of the highest quality.I can’t recommend Seaport enough. If you are in the market for doors or windows, give Seaport a call.
They do perfect work and the painter is a magician. If you get any windows or doors this is the place to go its a no brainer
Our doors were a special order that required a great deal of coordination. Crystal was phenomenal about dealing with the details. Peter did an outstanding job on installing them and making sure every detail was tended to with an expert s eye. Alex was always available to answer questions and make sure that the project went smoothly.
Having worked for Seaport Windows and Doors two different times and I currently am working in the front office. I have seen this companys growth and longevity over the years and it amazes me! People always think the grass is greener and with the social media so big, they try to lash out. I can tell you first hand. Alex is a good, hard working man that has a heart of gold! He has taught me so much and the most important thing Is good customer service. I apply it in my life everyday and it truly is a life changer. Treat people as you want to be treated! I am in the center of the company and the reputation in this business and with his customers is positive, friendly yet still professional. He is a man of his word and will always take the time to help others. There are many neighborhood residents who come into Seaports office with desperation because the company they have worked with cant be found or is out of business yet Seaport is in the same location and same Owner for 25+ years. That, more then anything, says so much! Thank you for taking the time to read this, truly honest review and have a successful day! Teri Miller
I had an excellent experience with Seaport Windows. Alex Herrera Is a very knowledgeable. He was able to explain the problem that had developed with the windows we installed when we built our home. His proposal was reasonable. We gave him the OK to order replacement windows. Installation was flawless. I highly recommend Seaport Windows and Doors.
My new windows and door are beautiful Seaport did a very professional job and I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning on replacing their old doors and windows. They are the best!
Seaport staff and install team was top notch. From the start with a very thorough review of my needs for new replacement windows, a timely and professional plan and bid was presented. Alex Herrera kept me informed and answered all my questi9ns in a timely manner. The installment team was courteous and professional. They did everything they said they would and more. I’m so happy with the job they did. I highly recommend Seaport Windows and Doors.
Terrible customer service. Extremely difficult to schedule repairs. They dont return phonecalls. Im trying to be totally flexible and nice, cause I want my door repaired. Would Not use this company again. Im happy for everyone with good reviews. Wish I could have done the same.
The window renovation worked out well. The only downside is that it took a little longer than expected, but in the end, the window looks great.
Buyer Beware. They do not follow up and finish the work they have been hired to do. They mention they have to come back and replace a small standard part (wheel) during the servicing of my slider because they do not have another one in their truck. When I call to have them come back, they do not return my calls and then when I finally got to speak with the girl at the office, she says Alex never had that conversation with me. Alex is now saying that if I want that wheel replaced I need to buy a whole new wheel cartridge and be charged another trip fee because it costs them money to come out. My slider servicing that they did in April and were suppose to come back with the standard wheel piece to finish the job, has taken months of being ignored and forgotten. Not to mention that I called them three weeks ago to let them know my slider is no longer opening. The girl at the desk says that Alex will not come out again. It is not covered and my paper work says it is all done. She doesnt know the warranty coverages because she has only worked there a couple months. But, she was sure Alex will not cover it. I asked to speak to Rauol, the one who serviced my door and told Alex he needed to go back to the shop to pick up the needed wheel. But, of course, he is unavailable all the time because he works in the field. Funny, how he could call me when he was coming to service the sliding door. Alex is suppose to call me. Good luck with that.It gets worse. I am just a dumb old woman. Alex is so charming, he suggested he and his crew strip down the interior window seal frames in my house to take back to his shop to get precise measurements so he could give me an accurate estimate on replacing four windows. Now, I had no choice but to replace them because he had his crew strip them down. Fortunately, my husband insisted I get a second quote from American Vision Windows. They were $2,000.00 cheaper, replaced six windows and a French slider to boot.If you want to be lied to, ignored, and forgotten, work with these people. Terrible customer service here. There are better places to do business with. Do your homework and BUYER BEWARE with Seaport Windows and Doors. Stay away.
Alex is a real piece of work. I am not an unsatisfied customer but an unsatisfied ex employee. I had read all the other bad reviews before taking the job was in need of money so didnt really have another choice. I almost quit on my first day after seeing how he runs his business. The other bad reviews are definitely accurate. He will lie and swindle things to get them his way. His company has supposedly been in business for 25 years but for some strange reason his longest employee there now has only been there for 2 years. And hes not even an installer. Hes basically Alexs little runt who drives around dropping off tools smoking cigarettes and weed. Next to him the longest is 6 months. I was hired by him 3 weeks ago and in that time one person has already quit. A guy quit the week before I was hired. Another guy threatened to quit and I obviously did as well. He treats his employees and clients like trash that is easily replaceable. I have been in construction for 15 yrs but have not done the exact kind of work that seaport does. Alex was fully aware of this. When I was hired I was under the impression that I would be paired w someone who I could learn from. This was definitely not the case. On my first day at work he paired me w a guy who had only worked there for 2 days and was just as clueless as I was. So between the 2 of us we had 2 days experience at seaport. This is the type of employees that are going to show up at your house. A couple of guys that can get it done but dont really know what theyre doing. His main guy,the runt, told me that Alex will tell you exactly what you need to hear to sell you the job and then not follow through. Seems to me to be totally accurate. I highly recommend looking for another company for your window and door needs
Seaport, Alex and crew, did a great job on my window project. Very courteous and professional.
I have been working for this company for over 4 years and enjoy working for Alex. I started out working part time helping him rebuild his computers lost customers files back into the files . When working for Alex and learning his business, how he wanted it ran due to the details that went into each job. I learned so much as to how important to follow each job correctly. He has thought me a lot over the years, that now has put me into the full time book keeping position. We strive very hard to make all our customers satisfied. Sometimes with orders and the vendors not being able to make orders meet Deadlines or come damaged due to shipping, causes process of installation put back unfortunately. Some ppl not being in the full cycle of business procedures dont understand all steps on what it takes. We also service all our customers with meeting all warranties from products sold by us and others. I would highly recommend this family owned business that likes detailed custom work done by a professional!
These guys are first rate, meticulous care and attention to detail.
