My man Alonso came through for me and hooked me up with a new stereo for my 2006 Honda Accord. The original stereo wasn’t working, and I needed something with an aux cable and Bluetooth so I can listen to my own music. They did an excellent job installing the stereo, the service was friendly and the staff was very informative, and I’m absolutely happy for choosing Evolution Motorsports. I chose this joint because of all the five star reviews, and sure enough, they didn’t disappoint. Big shoutout to everyone working there!

Alonzo and his team are awesome. They installed a tesla style android screen in my older Lexus when the stock navigation died suddenly. I’d read a ton of scary reports online that the unit I got had all kinds of quirks like A/C not blowing at feet or airbag light always on, or hazard lights not working anymore etc. Alonzos team installed it perfectly! No issues, looks and works better than I imagined and I’m super happy. Paul at Al and Ed’s on La Cienega quoted me over $700 to install it and Evolution did it for $350 out the door! Highly recommend.

I was shopping around for a subwoofer install and these guys had the best price so I went with them. And I was not disappointed at all. This is the friendliest shop I have been to in my life, they have genuine car and compassion for their customers and I will most definitely be doing business with them again. Ive gotten a custom stereo, custom interior involving 2 tone leather, and hydro carbon fiber dipping interior parts. Also, a body kit put on my Corvette GS C6 at Evolution Motorsports. One stop shop! Everything turned out awesome. Alanzo the owner strives for perfection. Highly recommended!!

Completely unprofessional. Dont come here if youre a woman. He will cheat you out of your money. This man overcharged me for speakers, and the did not work and he refused to fix them giving me an attitude. He gave me back SOME of my money when I threatened him with the better business bureau and told me he wont work on my car anymore. Now im out over 100 dollars with speakers that only work for 20 minutes until the sound cuts out. He is rude and completely unprofessional.

I found this place on Google, so I’ll give back to further customers. I narrowed down to few cars audio experts, based on reviews and reasonable distance. This place was the farthest, but returned my call quickly and accepted to evaluate my issue right away (took me 30 minutes to get there), which is a good sign for independent business who understand good communication. Nothing fancy about this place, nice guys, and the owner for my surprise, jumped into my car very quickly. After over a hour he stated the amp is bad - it wasn’t a classic case of easy to see burned amp. As my car got limited space, he suggested to order new amp smaller than what in stock. Unfortunately I had to come next day to complete the installation, but I couldn’t plan ahead and left the car there for few hours. The job done as it should, Alonso seems to well care for my car, and helped me to worry less while my car in their hands.While I believe every audio place could get this job done, this place really stand out at their level of care and communication. The price seems right as well.

I just had my car (Aston Martin Vanquish) tinted and wheels/emblems chrome-deleted. The quality of Alonsos (owner) and his teams work far exceeded my expectations. His quote for the work was very reasonable, and he finished the work on time just as promised. I am extremely happy with the results. I recommend Alonso very highly. I will certainly come back for any future needs of mine.

Just as the reviews say, Alonso is the most accommodating, professional, and helpful person! Had multiple projects done which included ceramic tinting, stereo upgrade, and sound deadening on my Honda Accord and it took a little longer than expected because of how busy he was (which is to be expected seeing how he is the best in the business), but he definitely made it worth the wait for me while giving me a great deal. Im pretty new when it comes to car stereos and whatnot but Alonso took the time to explain everything to me and gave me advice I didnt know I needed and at the end, the car stereo ended up sounding amazing (and they arent even broken in yet). Tints done very well, keeping my car significantly cooler. Alonso and his team really did go above and beyond and took care of my car like it was their own. 100% would come back for any future work I need.

Five million stars to this place. And no, Im not joking.I have a Jeep Wrangler Sport that likes to be funky with the stereo -- first the AUX cord stopped working, then CD player got jammed, then the volume button kicked so I was literally left to a silent car unless I played something from my phone. I called up Alonso to learn more about what it would take to replace my stereo or maybe even upgrade, and he was not only incredibly patient as I know next to nothing about cars, but found me the most perfect and affordable solution -- replacing my current radio with a duplicate that he had at the shop!I cant tell you how psyched I was. The installation went smoothly and just as they were finishing, they noticed that the new radio was looking for a code (something about preventing auto theft in the stereos). Alonso then spent the next 20 minutes on the phone, wooing a Jeep dealership for their code so that he could finish up my stereo and send me home happy.It. Was. A. SUCCESS! And while all of this was happening, I was happily chatting with Alonsos amazing wife about Oprah, Covid, and everything in between. I might go back just to continue a friendship with her.Evolution Motorsports made me feel like family that they were taking care of and I cant thank them enough. Yall are the best!

Evolution Motorsports is the best! I have gotten tints done and had a sub installed and both came out fantastic. Fair prices and very professional work. Alonso is great and will take care of you no matter what you need. I recommend checking them out, you wont regret it.

The wrap and stereo I had done here are beyond terrible. From the moment I picked up the car (two weeks late and after they shattered the windshield), the stereo would short out and stop working or wouldnt connect. They installed a much larger woofer (instead of what we discussed and without contacting me first) that the amp couldnt support and that had to be redone. The stereo was 4 trips, and its still not working 100% of the time. The wrap seemed a bit rough around the edges when I got it back, but it wasnt until the shop I take my car to commented on how shoddy and terrible the work was that I started to feel ripped off. Then I found out the hood was glued to the car. Evolution denies this, but as this is a mid-engine car without a frunk, no one else has been under that hood except Evolution. So...if youd like to take your car to a disorganized shop (several instances I was given an exact time to show up, and then I arrive and the job is nowhere near done or even started) who has no problem charging full price (I never once asked for a discount and spent nearly $6500) for shoddy work, damages your vehicle and takes creative license over what is installed without consent, then Evolution is the place for you. Highly disappointed given the glowing reviews from other customers.

Very conveniently located, Evolution Motorsports has been serving our community with car customization needs since 2006. Accessible and friendly, they make sure that every job they do is done with quality, and free of short-cuts. I have been calling-on Alonso to help with several clients vehicles over the years. This last time I had him attend to a tint for my very humble VW Beetle. He scheduled me in, and had his crew do a great job, even with the challenges that the New-Beetle model windows with their concave-shaped surfaces posed. Thank you Alonso, for another job well done!

These guys are amazing. They just installed my Pioneer 8600 in a few hours and supplied the kit as well. I was also able to purchase a backup cam and have it installed simultaneously by Joseph, a 5star technician. I love the attention to detail & the play by play updates provided by the owner, Alonzo. I went here from seeing excellent reviews, and I wasnt disappointed. First of all Alonso is a very polite, professional and attentive person. Expect top notch communication from him all the way through the entire process, to keep you posted on the work estimate, the work progress, and delivery. Clear and transparent communication is key, and it really made me feel at ease. I took my 2015 Honda Civic for a roof wrap, due to my past vehicles all tend to oxidize and fade really bad on the roof. He explained all the available options, pros/cons, and I went with PPF instead of vinyl. I am extremely happy with this choice, as it looks and feels like a new roof paint job, gloss black! Alonso also worked on chrome delete the back of my car, and tailight tint. All turned out amazing. He also provided with a loaner car on the drop off day, which was an excellent touch. I really appreciate the ease of service and clear communication. Moreover, after a week of the job done, I noticed my rubber sliding on the roof was a bit out of place. He immediately told me to come in for inspection. It turned out to be nothing worrisome, but he also did some small touch ups on the spot to make sure he stands by his work. This is HUGE. For a shop to be committed to their work after delivery and payment, and demonstrate the care for the customers is a sure sign of a stand out place. Highly recommend this place.

Amazingly good installation!Fantastic knowledge of automotive electronics! I made anappointment to meet with Alonso to install a BlackVuedash cam (front and rear cameras). Alonso and hisinstallation team did a fantastic job and paid attention tothe smallest details. In addition to the dash cam, I had alow voltage sensor and timer installed to prevent thebattery from discharging while parked. I am compelled tocomment that Alonso is one of the hardest workingpersons I have ever met. He is constantly taking care of hiscustomers! While waiting for my installation to becompleted, I saw many high-end cars getting electronicsinstalled including a Lamborghini, Audi, Mercedes Benz,and other cars that were clearly loved by their owners. I amvery particular about my car and about wiring. I was notdisappointed, my installation was perfect. Now that I havefound Evolution Motorsports and Alonso, I will goNOWHERE ELSE. My quest is finished to find a shop withexpertise, craftsmanship, and old fashioned customerservice. I am a customer for life as long as Alonso on thejob! Alonso was so great and helpful. I went in for a window tint on one of my windows and a problem with my audio. It turns out that the problem with my audio was just an iPhone cable, and he didnt need to rip open the stereo system, even though he totally could have because I know nothing about cars. Honest guy, super nice, and helpful when it came to this issue. Would definitely recommend!

I brought in my Jeep Wrangler to get tinted, an alpine system installed, and rails installed.All 3 projects were done very well, and overall, my impression was that they went above and beyond in both customer service and the quality of work.Honestly, Ive visited many shops and most of the time, they will upsell, force product sales and/or simply make poor recommendations. I didnt feel this way with the team here - everything was extremely professional and exceptional.Look forward to re-visiting.

I’ve done business here twice. More than happy with both experiences. They are always busy working on installations which is a marker of high quality product/service (busy dentist, busy restaurant, busy taco truck etc.). Before deciding to go with them I drove by another car audio shop in town and the garage only had one car in it being worked on and had a worker sitting out in front idle. I kept on driving lol.Alonso the owner is very friendly and charismatic which makes the process smooth. He listens to your wants car audio wise and will work within your budget. I’m more than happy with the speakers and sub he recommended. My 2017 Civic hatchback is bumpin! Great customer service. Five stars for these guys.

Alonzo and his crew got Apple CarPlay —a Pioneer AVH-2550NEX— installed beautifully in my mom’s 2007 Lexus 400h SUV, replacing the CD player and cassette deck. Now we can do Maps and Music much much better (and more safely). The price he offered was $200 better than what another shop offered me. Everything looks and works great. They matched the color of all paneling.. the unit literally looks like it was a factory install! Seriously, they did a killer job. Their shop is a little busy (lots of customers), but this is a good sign, right? Highly recommend.

I am a repeat customer of Evolution Motorsports. Alonso is the owner and really cares about the quality of the work done at his shop and does everything possible to make a happy customer. Prices are very reasonable. Ive had them do work in multiple cars over the years, from amps and subwoofers, to rear view cameras, new head units, and dash cams. All of his work is always clean, reliable and has held up over the years. In a more recent instance, some hot chocolate got spilled over the buttons on my nav system and the entire dash needed to be taken apart to clean the buttons. Of course I took it to Evolution. Alonso quoted me for an hour of work but it ended up being more like 3 hours. I offered to meet him halfway and pay him for 2 hours, but he said... NO. Can you believe that? He said my satisfaction and not having any surprises in the cost was more important. Its hard to find places like this.TL;DR- if you want quality work, someone who treats your car like their own, help with product selection, friendly service, and great prices... look no further than Evolution Motorsports!

Yo, Alonzo is the man! I approached Evolution Motorsports to finish up the install on a subwoofer I had laying around and gave up trying to install myself.Normally, I like to do this stuff, and I like to think Im pretty good at it sometimes, but I own an Audi and realized after 6 hours of looking up wiring diagrams online and not finding exactly what I needed, and sweating and getting sun burnt in the process, and guessing on wires Im randomly splicing into, that I should have just paid them from the get go.Alonzo cut me a great deal though, and went back over the work I did and not only fixed my screw ups and made it sound DOPE, but he ensured all connections were tightly snug in their fasteners and such.Thanks Evolution Motorsports. You da man. 10/10, would put thump in my trunk again.
