Fantastic service! Doreen knows her stuff, and is a lot of fun to talk to. My shopping experience was great. I was vaguely thinking of getting a reconditioned bike (and I still might do that!), but fell in love with a new one. She showed me every bike that she had that fit my needs - havent ridden in 40 years, just want a bike for fun, so on. She taught me a lot in one visit. I had never had a bike helmet, for example. And what about a lock? Ill be going back for mirrors and a basket and a light... and other accessories too. I bought one of the new Drifters, and Im having a blast with her. I named her Coraline!
The lady was so kind to us. Took super good care helping me pick out the best one for my special needs daughter. I would definitely go back if I need anything for her again. Young man who works on bikes was also extremely kind too. Awesome experience.***** update this place rips people off. Bike was fine until a couple days later...long story short I bought a $200 bike had to put $120 to repair the issue. What a joke!!!! NEVER GO THERE**** it shouldnt have been sold until they fixed it first. VERY MISLEADING!!!!!!!
Awesome bike shop and awesome folks running it! I brought my bike in that needed some serious TLC and they were incredible! Bike is better than ever and they were super fast and knowledgeable. Highly recommend these guys!
What a great place with an eclectic selection. I found just what I was looking for...and more at Days Roll By. We are going back to pick up our third bike from them this week. They helped accessorize our new bicycles, installed the parts and all at fair pricing. Super knowledgeable staff and very friendly with us. Thanks Doreen! We will be customers for life!
As previously state, it was quite the enriching experience !!! doreen interjects her two cents worth !!! oh to assume, we all know what that creates ... only two cents, what a pity ... and as to doreens mythomane issues it just keeps blossoming !!! be well, be safe ... so many other shops to spend those shekels ... as easy done, as completing this review ... and still one star ...
They fixed my bike when I was in mid ride quickly and for a good price!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Many styles of bikes to choose from to fit any budget or user. Also, they repair and tune up bikes at an affordable price.
Great place i only come here for my bike needs
I bought two inter tubes for my wife’s bike. When I got home I attempted to prefill one before putting it in the rim and tire. I didn’t realize it, but tube either had a defect or had been damaged somehow because as I was filling the slime pushed out a hole and covered my shoe. Luckily I had bought two so I was able to still get the bike back on the road. When I tried to return it I was told they do not return or exchange any items. I would’ve been fine with an exchange the tube was obviously brand new just out of the box. The funny thing is, all they had to do was exchange that tube and I had 500-800$ to spend on a vintage bike. It was my birthday and I thought it would be cool to have an old road bike as a back up because I commute to work on my bike.So their unwillingness to do the right thing and provide good customer service, cost them a bike sell and a future customer. They should probably rethink their return policy and put a little more trust in their customers. P.S. (my response to the owner)* I explained to the gentleman exactly what happened with the inter tube and I asked for either a refund or exchange, perhaps you all should be better listeners*
Great service! Always willing to help and share knowledge. Lots of bikes to choose from!
I highly recommend this bike shop. The owner, Doreen, and her staff are all super helpful and friendly. They make great recommendations based on what you share with them. We went in looking to buy one bike and ended up buying two, one for my daughter and one for myself. Im really happy with both bikes. Not to mention, bikes are really hard to find right now but this shop has a great selection.
We went here looking for a bike for my 15-yo son. The staff was very knowledgeable and steered us in the direction of a bike that was a perfect style and size for the kind of riding he does. The let him test drive a few and in the end he road his new bike home. I would highly recommend Days Roll By next time youre in the market for a reliable, reasonably priced bicycle.
They helped me fix my bike Fast Supersonic Fast! Nice place with nice bikes solid honest folks inside! I say choose them every time! Thank you Guys!!!
Good selection of bikes of all sizes. I purchased my first bike here and had an excellent experience. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to put in the extra effort to ensure you get the right bike. Highly recommend checking them out if youre looking for a bike.
I would highly recommend Days Roll By to anyone needing a bike repair within The Northern Colorado area. I have encountered a positive, efficient customer service experience delivered with forthright honesty and a clear level of expertise. They did an incredible job with my old cruiser. Im pleased to report that it now rides like a new bicycle again!I have been an avid cyclist for many years and have visited various bicycle shops within the Northern Colorado area. Days Roll By has certainly earned my loyalty and patronage going forward! I would recommend them to anyone!
Great service, very honest and knowable if you are having bike issues you can trust Days Roll By to get you rolling again
Extremely helpful in finding a bike that fit me best. Variety of used vintage and newer bikes available. The Zac Pak is a must have!
My bike rides better than ever after a tune up and a few other fixes. The work was completed quickly, the quality was good, and the price was fair!
Awesome staff. Very genuine people.
This morning my wife and I purchased two bicycles from Days Roll By. We are extremely happy. The owner, Doreen, knows her products well. Her business has an extensive inventory, well maintained, many with important upgrades, and all priced to fit any budget. One of the bikes is a vintage Schwinn that has been totally restored to its original showroom condition. To own and ride a restored bike is a fantastic experience. On the bike path I know she will turn heads with that red Schwinn with the chrome fenders. I bought a bike with coaster brakes that I still remember how to operate and Im having a lot of fun! Nothing better than to see a bike brought back to life to be enjoyed and appreciated again!
I have taken a couple of bikes to this shop and have been impressed both times. One bike is a very old Trek Antelope that I got when I was a kid and it was in a sad state of disrepair. Doreen and Zach fixed everything that was wrong with the bike and it rides like new again. Most recently I brought in my newer bike that was having trouble shifting and was making my hands go numb when I would ride it and they adjusted it, gave it a good tune up, and added a much needed kick stand and it now rides better than it ever has and is much more comfortable. These people know their stuff!
Great bike shop for repairs!! They had my bike fixed and tuned up within a couple of hours after dropping it off! Now I can start riding again! Thank yiou!
Best place for getting your bicycle back on the road where it should be, especially that retro or vintage bike youve had gathering dust. Great service, knowledge, experience, and parts selection. FIVE STARS!!!
Just got a great deal on an awesome bike! The staff knows their stuff and are very personable!
Bought a KHS from these wonderful people! They asked me about what I liked to do and helped me select the bicycle I needed! I love it and continue to go back for upgrades and tire packs!
I had a 1988 Scwinn Restored and they did a great job on it. I also purchased a restored bike and got a great deal on it. I would highly recommend Days Roll By. They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced from used parts and bikes to new parts and bikes depending on your needs.
Much higher prices than many other shops. The reconditioned bikes look good on the outside, but many have bad bearings and other internal issues that are difficult to spot right away. This is also the only shop in the northern Colorado area that spams craigslist in the by owner section. I guess they need some type of edge when the bikes are falling apart on their customers. There are so many better and more affordable shops just north of here in Fort Collins.
Fantastic shop and service, I was able to get my 73 schwinn continental back on the road with new gum wall tires, fresh brake pads and a correct vintage rear rack, hard items to find much less at a fair price, this place is full of working time machines.
Bought a bike In may, the bike has something wrong with it. I took in back in thinking I could just trader in for a different bike knowing I would not get what I paid for it. Owner is rude and made no effort to work with me on a trade, she offered 1/2 of what I paid.I purposely bought from a small local business owner thinking that a small business would stand behind what they sell .Lesson learned..... I should have went to a larger company
The one star reviews are funny. A supposed business man who doesnt understand every business charges more for parts than you can find online and thinks $5 for labor is excessive. Someone with buyers remorse expecting to lose money and then rants when it happens. Oh then theres brandon, doesnt like that the business uses Craigslist to advertise, too edgy apparently. Then he bashes bearings on bikes he hasnt ridden. (Bad bearings are obvious Brandon, they dont hide). Is it a millennial thing that people expect to walk away from an binding agreement, expect a brick and mortar store offer amazon pricing and/or think advertising is too edgy, whilst telling you where to shop?Heres what you get at Days Roll By. An old bike made new again. A real bike, a bike that has and will stand the test of time. Days is one of Lovelands oldest shops and just a fun store to visit.
I was very disappointed with this business. When attempting to ask questions regarding a trade, the staff, including the owner, was rude, and unaccomodating to our questions. They rudely advised us they didnt take trades. Okay, no big deal, but you dont need to be rude about it! When asking her how much they thought our bike was worth they rudely replied that they didnt know and that it was our responsibility to find out. We will definitely not be recommending this business and will take our business elsewhere!
Needed a chain and a few pieces of hardware. Ended up spending $35 only to find out that the chain I bought retails for $4.99 online ($16 at shop), the hub bolts $0.49 online ($3/ea at shop), and $5 for labor that was not communicated until the “labor” was finished. As a business owner myself I always try to support local businesses, however the markup in this store is borderline criminal. I needed the parts ASAP, so I guess this is the price of convince. Never will be back.
They do a awesome job at repairing bikes! Friendly staff and lots of inventory to choose from!
She is super-knowledgable, has been working on bikes since she was ten, and the work done on these bikes reflects that. Her stocked parts are sensible and organized, and includes some hard to find stuff. The shop is well-maintained. Prices do reflect the quality of the bike. The bikes in stock are varied, from the usual assortment of mountain bikes, BMX, Treks, bombproof schwinns, ten speeds, 3-speeds, and everything in-between. Some of the bikes in here are super cool- a couple Flying Pigeons and Vintage Raleigh clones, Schwinn Twinns, Peugeot PX-10s, vintage skiptooth cruisers, etc.,Pretty neat shop!
Always very helpful and reasonable.
Helpful, knowledgeable. Vintage bicycles, parts and service.
Best bike shop. Owner I should a joy to talk wit and she knows her bikes.
