Great place to pick up a quick 6/12 pack of beer in an emergency

Horrible liquor store. Steadily declined with the new management. They did not have any coors light for sale. Shelves are empty. Employees are rude.

I used to work for the old owner of Jax Liquor. My mother and I stopped here to get some beverages for the super bowl. She loves coming here and enjoys the customer service! I had a great experience coming in with her.

If you’re ordering for delivery they are always out of one or two items but most likely they will replace it for some thing of the same value. This last time for delivery I left a cash tip and was called because the drivers work for tips and they didn’t see one on the card. I understand that but I have a cash tip waiting at the house there is no reason for you to call and harass me. Drives are really nice and polite.

I like that they are open so late.. very convenient.

Always out of stuff and more expensive then other surrounding liquor stores but they do deliver and also let you pay over the phone with a card!!!

Best liquor store in Loveland! Hunter and Shane are fantastic employees. They’re super knowledgeable about their selection and always fun to talk to. I probably drive past 4 or 5 liquor stores to come here and thanks to them, I’ll keep doing it. Thanks boys!

Cant enter from Taft...one has to go in by King Soopers and park close to Jaxs

Said online delivery was due in an hour. After 90 minutes, I called. Guy said he had another call... and hung up. Wont do business with theese guys again. Not worth the fake advertising. I get ya gotta make the deliveries worth your time.... Im a 7 minute ride away. 90 minutes and hung up upon after inquiring why so long.... Is unacceptable.

Very disappointed. Today was my first time trying delivery, and it never got delivered. No call, no email, no communication whatsoever. I even called the store multiple times and nobody answered. I called the phone number in my delivery confirmation email and it didnt even seem legitimate. When I called it asked for a remote access code. Going to have to go to the store now and try to get a refund at least. I feel this was just a scam.

Dont try and get delivery, its not worth it.

Unable to fulfill a $150 Drizly delivery order @ 7:45pm, at a delivery address located 11 min away from the store, despite items advertised as in stock & order confirmed. I understand things happen and I wouldn’t have minded with adequate notice, however Jax didn’t let me know my delivery would be cancelled until over 1.5 hours after I ordered (after all LQ stores were already closed for delivery). I ordered delivery for a reason, and I could’ve ordered elsewhere had I been given a heads up, so not a great experience(After reading other reviews I now see this is a norm, so doesn’t leave me with a lot of confidence in the business)

Worst experience EVER... after places a delivery order with a very unknowledgeable sales person...I waited TWO HOURS..no delivery. When I called to cancel my order I was told I couldnt cancel, the driver would be here eventually. Never received the order but they wont give me back my money that I payed with a credit card. Now I have to challenge the payment with my bank...WORST customer service I have EVER experienced.

If i could i would rate 0 stars but cant! We ordered last night told it would take 1 and a half hours. So we waited and after 2 hours we called to find out where our order was and the person said they didnt know where their driver Shane was! 3 and a half hours later we still didnt have our order! Shane called us back and claimed he had stopped by and rang the doorbell and knocked and called but i was sitting in the living room waiting. He also told us it would cost us another $3.90 redelivery fee this is twice it happened to us! He lied about coming to our house and about calling he was rude as hell and lost our business! My advise is dont use them they dont show up and then charge you more to deliver it at all. Thanks for screwing us out of money Shane!

I didnt visit a liquor store I havent had any liquor or any kind of alcohol for over 34 years so Im not sure why its saying that I went into a liquor store. I probably just drove by

Tried to mat an order at 10:30 on a Thursday night. I was told it would be delivered at 12:00 am! An hour and a half? Really? I live less than 3 miles away. I could have walked there and back in that time. Guess if I lived in FoCo I could have got an order quickly. Because the driver was going there. Never had an issue before!.

My own father owned a liquor store in Flower Mound, Texas and I KNOW how difficult it is to run one smoothly and efficiently. Jax has it down. The second I walk in the door, Im greeted with a smile and awesome attitude! The selection is unbelievable too. They are SO busy on Fridays and Saturdays and always double check the orders to get them right. Ive ordered delivery several times and it saves me to go out and drive at night when I need a bottle of wine for dinner guests! Thank you Jax for saving my neck several times when I didnt plan well myself. OF COURSE theres a delivery fee! I wouldnt want it any other way, (gas prices are off the charts lately) and I always tip the drivers as well. Tyler and Stan are nice guys! THANK YOU JAX, you guys are the BOMB!

I always enjoy my interactions in the store when shopping here. Everyone is really nice. My major criticism is the changes they have made to delivery. Ive gotten delivery on several occasions. It used to be free with optional tip. (So obviously, Id tip quite well, duh.) Now it is a $6!! delivery fee, which they claim NONE of goes to the driver. I sure hope that isnt true, or if so, they are getting substantial raises.If youre instituting such a high fee as result of the drivers not being adequately tipped by cheapskates (who are unfortunately out there) and then share a sizable portion of the fee with the driver, thats understandable. But to charge a high fee and NOT share with the driver, then the driver is going to get a smaller tip (if any) and that will be even worse. I cannot imagine what kind of costs you are incurring for deliveries that are not borne by primarily the drivers.As an ex-delivery driver myself, this is fundamentally unfair to your drivers and will also turn off some customers who feel $6 is too high, especially if it just goes to the store and not the drivers... Its for what? Like a taking your order over the phone fee??!??!

OMG I am a regular at this store for a long time and on first name basis with the stuff . I just got thrown out by a new guy that was not wearing a mask . I asked him very politely to put on his mask . it says at the front door DO NOT ENTER UNLESS YOU HAVE A MASK ON, after asking the guy to nicely put on his mask he said no either buy your drinks or get out . So I will never come back to this store he is very rude . I just cannot belive the stupidity of this

Not sure why jax is utilizing drizly?! Place an order just to have it NOT be delivered... two hours after placing order... and canceled. GREAT BUSINESS MODEL.

I thought I would order beer through delivery. Was told its a 5 dollar delivery fee(not to bad) then the guy on the phone proceeded to ask if I was going to tip the driver and how much. You should do it like pizza delivery. They will get a tip when they get here not ask how much. It took 45 minutes to see your delivery driver then he brought the wrong beer. He took it back and took another 30 mins to see your driver again.

Would have been nice if they were actually open til midnight. Pulled up at 11:47, knew exactly what I was going to buy so it would have taken a whole 5 minutes to spend at least $30. I then watched the clerk walk to the open sign and shut it off, hoping they were just trying to get ahead of the game I walked up and the door was locked. While I was looking at the open til midnight sign. The only reason I decided to go there was because they were still open. Never been there before, probably wont bother again.

This was my first time buying from this store. I decided to try the delivery service. When I called I asked if the delivery driver was available now and she said yes. After 30 minutes I called back and was told the driver was out on another delivery. It wouldve been nice to have a call back to let me know there was going to be a delay. The driver was friendly and I like that they have that option, but customer service needs to improve.

Horrible experiences with their delivery team. They cant seem to find my house even after providing clear and very easy directions!!! They demand a tip of $10. Why? For what? To not deliver my order twice? To charge my credit card and I still dont have my delivery? This is ridiculous! I think their drivers are drunk or high themselves. Dont bother with these pos! Stock up if you actually want to have alcohol.

Yall used to deliver for free with the expectation of a tip. Tonight i called to order an $11 6-pack for delivery and yall wanted $19. This was due to the delivery fee. Im 2 blocks away. You think Im paying $8 for you to deliver to me you got life messed up. Thats nothing short of greed. Ill happily take my business elsewhere. Both delivery and in person.

Horrible service they give you an estimated time and hour and then you call them up and then it’s two hours more horrible horrible customer service. People that answer the phone are extremely rude.

Horrible service. Staff is rude all the time even though I go in every weekend. They DEMAND tips for the delivery, which wouldnt be a problem if they were friendly. They even went as far as calling me back asking for a TIP (which is SUPPOSE to be optional). Will definitely not continue going there.

Website says free delivery. Was told on the phone Its now $1.00. I said OK. When I told them I lived in south Fort Collins (which, again, they say they deliver to for free), I was told It will be a $10 tip for Fort Collins. So much for free delivery. I was going to tip the driver anyway, but it was irritating to be told what amount I HAVE to tip in order for them to deliver. Thats not a tip, thats a delivery fee. Also, guy on the phone didnt know much about beer or what he had in stock. I was on the phone with them for over 3o minutes. Delivery took 1.5 hours. I got my beer eventually so they get the 2nd star, but not worth the time or cost IMO.

Really friendly owners and employees and a nice selection of products. I have used their delivery service and its very convenient and at a reasonable price!

**edit: ok, the order def never came and the card was charged. But, when I went into the place and talked to the guys, showed them the proof.... they were very kind and looked into it. They refunded the money and restored my faith in the place. (Still not going to order delivery, but the store is good.)Place order for delivery at 7:30 ish.. confirmation email says delivery by 8:46. Ok whatever, an hour is fine. Its now 11:15 and nothing. So, if you like getting things delivered when you place an order... this is not the place to call.

I have used Jax Liquor to deliver orders to me many many times. Most experiences have been okay... but the last two times I’ve had alcohol delivered there has been a missing item. The first time it happened, they issued me a refund after they found it in the drivers car. When it happened today, I was basically told I was a liar and that it was delivered to me. I am an honest and responsible adult... I would never lie about not receiving something I spent money on through a service I found to be beneficial when needed. But a company that refuses to correct the situation and still charge me for it? They will never get my business again.

WELL since dont respond to negative questions or poor reviews. Only the positive ones....makes you look even worse then the reveiws. Id like to see you answer some of the questions as well. Im hesitant to tryout this liquor store, though I was so excited about the fact of DELIVERY!

Best liquor store in Loveland, Co. The staff are awesome, there open till 12, and there the best at helping pick out a damn good wine. Oh and did I mention they have a free deliver service!!! Cant beat that for sure.

Don’t bother going to Jax Liquor. Bad service, poor selection and their “rewards” system doesn’t even work. I’ve been a customer for a few years thinking I was getting my discounts when I reached the threshold but no... they told me I wasn’t racking up any points even though I had made dozens of purchases there. They told me there was nothing they could do to correct the situation. Never again!I told the clerk every single time I made a purchase that I was in the system under my phone number. You are not correct.

Every time I have ordered delivery I have been on hold for 15 - 20 + minutes.Tonight I decided to order delivery from JAX after work...The lady who answered the phone told me that she was BUSY WITH CUSTOMERS. Poor poor poor screwy service I had to call 4 times just to put an order in with a Crack head and over an hr later Im still waiting after they told me only one delivery ahead of me. Now over an hr later wondering whats going on no one gives me an answer on how long I have to wait for a bottle of wine Im not going to wait all night for it and I got no answer. Idiots!!!!

I only go to 2 places here in loveland!!!!! This place WAS 1 of them. I will never bring my business here again. Thought i could always count on getting something if it got too late. But to have the lady that works there look me straight in my face as i pulled up, and close the door and lock it on me as im comin up before close! All i wanted was a bottle of royal and some shooters on my one night off this week. Not spending my money here ever again. Her excuse over the phone was we close 5min til. But if i ever locked my door as a consumer was coming up to my store 5min before close id lose my job!!! Lady obviously is more anxious to lock up amd go home 5min early than to make an extra 30 bucks for their store! Dumb, and what a waste of gas! Thanks!!!!

Overpriced and low selection

Delivery time was good, but its not really free delivery. I was told I had to pay $10 for service to Loveland and Ft. Collins; and $15 for Johnstown area. What part of that sounds free? Maybe put on your website tips for drivers would be much appreciate or there is a service fee.

Its great that they deliver. The owner is friendly, but when ordering for delivery unless youre speaking with the owner the other staff seem to not know anything about the store, what they carry, or where it is. Also, sometimes the service is very prompt, and sometimes it takes upwards of an hour and a half. Their prices are more than other places also . . . ultimately Id use them for delivery but if youre shopping Id go elsewhere.

Megan was awesome on the phone, she told me to tip Stan well and when I gave him a $10 bill he seemed bewildered. I said it was because of Megan;)

Waited for two hours to find out they cant make the delivery because they cant find the address. Even tho they could make it to the last one ... ill just take my business elsewhere from now on.

Prices are a bit higher then some of the other liquor stores in loveland but they are open the latest and they deliver, Sundays too.

Bought a large bottle of Whiskey ($55) from Jax Liquor. The whole head of the bottle snapped off in my car. I immediately took it back to the store to see if they would help me out only to be blamed and treated awful by the owner. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.
