Picked up an awesome sounding mahagony Teton at Canyon Acoustics two days after first trying it out. I had do the Ill sleep on it first thing before pulling the trigger. Glad I did. It sounds deep and warm, and is setup so well by the shop owner, Slick, that it plays wonderfully. It seriously plays better than my Taylor (I need to take my Taylor in to Slick and have him set it up). Great little shop, great guitar, great and friendly owner.

Every experience I have had here has been great! The owner is very knowledge and friendly. I know my banjo is well taken care of and I really enjoy visiting the store.

This place is fantastic! My Daughter and I stopped in to look at guitars and have an old guitar serviced, Slick was so nice to work with, we felt very comfortable and at home. He wasn’t trying to just sell us a guitar, he wanted to sell us the right guitar that would be PLAYED. Needless to say, we went home with a new guitar, and we couldn’t be happier! A little hard to find, but so worth it!

I bought a Teton 130 acoustic from Slick. He is a great guy and really knows how to dial in an acoustic action wise. I barely have to touch the strings to get the sound I want. He also did this for me in a matter of an hour as the guitar I picked was still in the box from the factory. The guitar sounds great and its beautiful. He also set me up with a gig bag, leather cork strap and some picks. Ill be back for sure.

Spent 2 hours at Guitar Center in the acoustic room playing $750 - $2000 Martins and Taylors with bowed necks, humps, and fretting out. Then, another hour at Spotlight to play Breedlove and Yamahas I didnt like the sound of. Frustrated, I went to Canyon Acoustics. WOW! Every Teton set up perfectly, and the sound was great! His $300 Teton played better than anything else I tried. I walked out with a $500 instrument I love. Slicks knowledge and love of what he does is leaps and bounds beyond anyone else.
