I didnt know I was a cheese person until Mill City Cheese mongers took my hand and showed me the light. Warm and knowledgeable staff offer a decadent selection of cheeses, meats, sweets, beer, wine, and accoutrement. The cheese platters (that fit all tastes and budgets) have saved our bacon on more than one occasion; be it a last minute party or a self care event of bacchanalian sloth. There are only 3 cheese shops on the North Shore and Metro North, that I am aware of, so that makes them valuable just to start. They do a great job. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Not a huge selection but very solid, well thought out choices.

If you love cheese like I love cheese its worth a visit. The owner is very knowledgeable and the cheese comes with a wonderful story and background of its history. I love my cheese with history

This shop is super adorable, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the cheese is amazing! I love to go and pick a bottle of wine and ask the staff to find me a cheese to match. Ive never been disappointed!

I stumbled upon Mill Street CheeseMongers today and I have to say what an amazing, beautiful cheese shop. The selection was broad with French Style butters and cheeses from around the world. However the thing I liked most was the knowledge of where their cheese comes from.Plus they specialize in finding the best cheeses from the Northeast and across the United States. I have lived in Switzerland and Germany and have a love for quality products.I was taken away by the cleanliness and origination of the space. It’s nice to see a local shop in an eclectic atmosphere doing what they love.

Very knowledgeable staff, high quality products, and a great location inside Mill No. 5. They are always willing to spend as much time as you need to help figure out the best selection of items. Highly recommended.
