I have been in this area most of my life. I cant remember shopping this location in Lunenburg. I decided to stop in for a large grocery order. I was not familiar with the layout. I was able to find a representative named Joe in the pasta sauce isle. He was unloading a shipment and really working hard.I had a few questions about where many items on my list were located in the store. He read my list with me and told me every isle I would need. He was clean cut, very professional and very pleasant. Also told me when out of stock items were going to be available. He is well versed in his position.Thank you. You have a new customer

We use them for the online grocery pick up option. We have no complaints so far, everyone is great and the system is easy and simple.

This has been our go to store for many years. Lately we’ve had quality issues- spoiled “fresh” fish, prepared fruit that went bad in just a few days and bread that barely made it to the “sell by” date. On the plus side the meat selection is usually quite good and the pharmacy staff is excellent.

Always clean and very organized. The employees are always nice and attentive.

Fresh vegetables, well displayed goods, and selfservice which is easy to use.

The staff is always helpful and I always enjoy seeing Kim. Today I needed a specific item for a recipe and Ginger over heard me and stopped what she was doing and helped me with her knowledge and vigor. Thank you Ginger!

A recent online order had them deliver potatoes, carrots,onions, beef broth. Everything anyone with common sense would put together to make a pot roast.Problem is they didnt give any indication it wasnt available kn able. A substitution could have easily been made.In fact, of the $105 order none of the meat totaling $45 was delivered. So glad I payed the $10 fee and tipped.. The service is horrible. Now to late in the day to start that roast I find myself heading to the supermarket. AND IT WONT BE THERES

My daughter requested a government check cashed. She was told Hannaford does not cash Gov checks. YES YOU DO! Check your SPTA. You are inconveniencing customers and giving out false info.GOV checks under $1000 are accepted. Disappointed!

Picked up some corn 🌽, #5 for $1. It was GREAT! 6/03/21My go to grocery store for 🍖 meats 🥓.

Hannaford to go is a great feature of shopping here. With bad knees its been a big deal benefit for me.

There manager should be retrained in customer service. Making rules up just to spite customers is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. Contradicting herself with every sentence she spoke. Not the customer service Im used to as a multiple decade long customer of Hannaford.

Produce is always great. They sell beer, wine, and hard liquor! Very convenient.

People are rude that work there and none of the workers no were nothing is it was a uncomfortable experience never will go there again

Not too happy about their marketing... I am starting to question their private labels. Deceptive Marketing: Packaging making you believe it’s a “freshly caught Salmon off the Gulf of Maine”. However, it is actually “Farm Raised” — tricky. In other words, the packing is designed to trick you.

I love going to Hannaford in Lunenburg . Its always clean employees are always friendly and will go out of there way to help. The customer service in the deli is the best ever. The handling of the Pandemic is always being executed. I always recommend this store to my friends & family..

I was so hungry and I was sick of the usual fanfare of McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts that I strictly eat daily as I am bulking up for my weightlifting competition. I figured a nice salad from hannafords would be a good break. Was a I right! Your employee Melody showed me right to the freshest salads around! Now I will have one of these once a week as I get wicked strong for my weightlifting competition.

My compliments to the folks who work at this fine supermarket. I was there first thing this morning and was so impressed with how well the shelves were stocked and the cleanliness all around. My favorite market for nearly thirty years.

I recently inquired about purchasing 12 turkeys at the current sales Price (.37). The manager (allegedly) called the meat department manager for approval; the meat department manager came back with this response we have to get corporate approval, and we would have to charge you $1.49 lbs. The price struck me as an odd cause in the flyer; it said ¢.37( maximum of two), at a savings of ¢.92. Which in common math = $1.29.Now why I need 12 turkeys. Well, they are not for me, but my Soldiers ( United States Army ). It would be nice to buy turkeys for my lower enlisted Soldiers and Jr NCOs .I emailed Corporate on the 16 of Nov, and even they ignore me. I am not asking the turkeys to be free, to purchase them at the sales price.Just a lack of customer service. Im ok with being told no, we can not honor that deal, but to charge me ¢.20 more a pound is wrong.

I totally understand that services are slow everywhere due to the pandemic, but having to wait over 40 minutes for my Hannaford to-go order when it should have been ready by my pickup timeslot is ridiculous. Its not like there was a line of other people waiting with me. Next time I will just shop myself. I think theyre understaffing the to-go department which is just wrong. If they cant handle the orders, they should shut it down and not offer it during this time at all. Not worth having this service.

I very much dislike Hannaford and the Hannaford brand. No reflection on the employees, who are usually pretty great. Its a corporate, product, quality problem.

The place is never busy, lots of room they aisles. Not always enough registers open. Butcher shop is very good. Nice to be able to get custom cuts when you want it. Bakery has good selections too. Prices are generally higher than Market Basket. They do have some selections that MB doesnt have which makes for a reason to go sometimes.

The only store thar has red pastra6!! Five stars!!!

Has fresh and good selections. Liquor is sold their too which makes it easy to get dinner and a nice wine.

I love that the aisles are wide. There are always enough registers open, including self checkout. It is less stressful than other stores. They have a wide variety of products. I will drive further out of my way to go there instead of other supermarkets.

Everything about this store is great--an excellent selection of local produce, a very good deli and bakery, plenty of room in the aisles for shopping carts, short checkout lines, and friendly staff. Although I dont always come here for day-to-day items, Hannaford is my first choice for any special occasion, or whenever I am in the mood to buy the best possible ingredients for whatever dish I am craving. Its also my go-to store for beer and wine.

Very clean and very helpful staff. Extremely large variety of products and process are not too bad. Higher prices than Market Basket, but much cleaner.

Top quality healthy products you can’t find in other chain stores, quick reliable pharmacy, with a friendly and helpful staff!! They always have what I want in stock, and it’s never overly crowded like MB. Super worth the slightly higher pricing to get all of this, plus with the rewards and online coupons I don’t have to search all over for its a win win win!!

There are positives and negatives to every grocery store. Their prices are slightly higher than Market Basket, but they offer a different selection. Great meat department and bakery.

The Hannaford to go staff is great!

I go here (Townsend) a few times every week. Its bright, clean, well-stocked and the staff are all friendly, eager to help and know how to help me find what I need if its anywhere in the store. If they dont have it, they might know where I can find it. If not, theres a reason why (like Friendlys no longer making watermelon sherbet).

Im sorry but I had a HORRIBLE shopping experience here. I got not but three items past date and where no good. The meat was brown, and the guard people think they are police, my wife left her credit card in the car and brought a carriage to the door and was nearly treated as a criminal.DONT BOTHER GOING IN HERE WAAAY TO EXPENSIVE AS WELL. MARKET BASKET IS WHERE IT IS AT!

Not enough cashiers, nor self checkouts. I prefer the personal touch with cashiers. Were just getting too impersonal with replacing of people with machines self checkouts

I went here to get pumpkins. They had lots of pumpkins to choose from.

I did NOT appreciate the STALE chocolate chip muffins that you sold me. But I DO have to say..if youre going to cater to the alcoholics then you need to cater to the smokers. Thats favoritism. Its HILARIOUS how being a raging alcoholic is sooo acceptable here. Smfh. If you KNEW what alcohol REALLY does to you. You people WOULDNT sell it. But if youre going to cater to one addiction..you need to cater to the smokers as well

The store itself is fine but have used Hanaford to go a few times and very disappointed with it! First time I ordered bagels and two days later they expired and had mold on them! Also recently i put a big order in and did not recieve FOUR items on my list. When i called to ask about it i was told they would look into it and have never heard back. Thanks for taking my money without giving me my products. I would not recommend this service unless you have a small order.

This store is already on the the decline. They fail to keep products in stock. Their fruit selection may look nice, but take a closer look and youll be surprised with all of the mold. Deli counter cannot cut products to the correct thickness. Customer service is hit or miss. They have no desire to correct an issue when raised. This issue is problematic and starts at the top. If you want a better Hannaford go to the one on Merriam Ave.

Quick in and out trip. They had all the stuff I needed for fajitas. Found their dairy/freezer area sort of confusing. Found what I needed though.

Too many Hannaford to Go carts in aisles making difficult to get to stuff. Not a single shopping cart to be found. Store is definitely going down hill.

I have been a Hannaford shopper since they opened the Lunenburg store. Outstanding customer service, knowledgeable staff, fine selections. I am not a price shopper so it doesnt matter if I can buy for less somewhere else.I will pay for quality,and service. Thats Hannaford!!

Not their fault but the whole charging for paper bags is a little discouraging to most customers as for me I have totes. My advice is bring tote bags to save some money.

Nice store with wide aisles and a good variety of items. Plus they have personal shoppers for people who dont like to, or have time to shop. Its a pleasant store.

If you have the time, go to the Lunenburg Hannaford, instead. The Townsend one ran out of sale items and doesnt appear to have any sort of coutesy counter from which to get a raincheck.

Been a customer forever. I got charged twice on my debit. Im getting charged overdraft fees...I didnt realize I needed to chk my account after shopping. I wouldve went in immediately to fix it. Now I wait about 10 business days. My husband went to the bank and also back to the store...nothing...the manager couldnt find the mistake. As my husband showed him all the proof from the bank. Feeling very irritated. Anxiety is very high right now.
