OMG!! I went to Ferman Buick GMC on 10/29/2021. What an awesome experience it was for me. A sales girl Holly met us outside and heard what I wanted and asked if she thought she could help me. She jumped on my request quickly and I had seen a car I was interested in and she jumped hoops with her manager Dino to make it happen for me. Holly was knowledgeable and so easy to work with. Very Positive. She made the paper work seem so easy and was so comfortable to be with. Once she was done the manager Dino met us and took us to his office. Loved talking with him and he was so upbeat as well. I was nervous as this was a sensitive matter with buying a car for me and well let me tell you not only was I surprised about what they did to get me this car I almost cried right there. Interest rate was awesome, price was great and the service was above and beyond from both Dino and Holly. Both kept me enlighten on what was going on the whole time even down to the detailing of my car. Im very loyal and will be back for my next car and hope both will be there still. Going to a car dealership for car maintenance isnt always fun when you have older vehicles. Not so at Ferman Buick GMC. We normally work with Ryan Donarski in Service. He is knowledgeable, efficient, friendly & always gives us sound advice for our 2011 & 2015 GMC Terrains. Service is so good that we recently bought our daughters first car from Ferman because we trust Ryan & the service team to work with her as she navigates her first experiences with car ownership. Ryan is an asset to Ferman!

Purchased a 2016 Hyundai Accent from this location this morning. I went in with a pre-approved loan for well over the asking price of the vehicle. At this point, they raised the price of the car stating that the posted price on the physical vehicle and online was the online price for trade-in value though that was not mentioned anywhere. When I went to leave because the car was out of my budget, they helped me out by bringing the car back down to slightly more than the original asking price and, coincidentally, exactly the amount of my pre-approved loan. I went in already calculating for the $995 dealer fee, taxes, title, registration, and plates, so this was basically obnoxious, but I hate car shopping, so I went with it. I will definitely not be a repeat customer, though.The car itself is in awesome condition. The tires are like new. They filled the gas tank. I noticed afterwards that the spare tire is missing, so I will have to purchase that ASAP.In summary, all Im really looking for when I buy a car is honest, straightforward advertising, not to have to feel on edge because Im being taken advantage of. Ferman Buick GMC missed the mark.

Even after the purchase of my car hes still made himself available to me for any concerns or requests. There was a car for sale shown on the website my husband was talking to a sales associate who had drawn up some paperwork for us as we live pretty far from the dealership. Upon checking the website not hours later the car was gone I gave them a call and was told they have alot of sales personnel and cars are on first come first serve basis. The sales person never once mentioned the possibility of the car we where about to purchase being sold to someone else or the fact that another sales associate could swoop in and take the car to sell to another person. In my opinion it was quite unprofessional and a good waste of our time. I would not recommend shopping for your next vehicle here!

First of all I would like to start by saying that after looking at other dealerships in the Tampa Bay area Ferman GMC is hands-down the best. As I left my vehicle and started walking towards the parking lot, I was greeted with a smile by a terrific sales person. This person walk me through the whole process made it enjoyable comfortable and I will continue to do business again with the salesman. I had an appointment to get oil change and tire rotation. On my drive to tge dealership my shifter bottom came off and would shift to drive and neutral. Michael was able to get part and have car back running smoothly in a few hours. Excellent service!!!

I took my 2019 GMC Denali to Ferman Buick GMC in Lutz FL on 10/4/21 for warranty work to repair a Parking Assist Alarm Sensor which had come loose and fallen inside of the front bumper. The service advisor refused to fix under warranty and was going to charge me out of pocket stating the sensor must have fallen in because someone could hit my bumper with their knee. The service advisor then asked me if I wanted him to take the car to the back and get an estimate for repair which I then refused and told him to give me back my keys. Just to let you know my car does not have a scratch or even a dent. I then took my car to a dealership down the road in Wesley Chapel for another opinion and they looked at my car saw there was no damage and said they can repair under warranty which then the technician diagnoses and ordered and installed a new sensor under manufacture warranty at no expense to me. Thank you Ferman for trying to charge me out of pocket for a repair that was supposed to be covered by the 36,000-mile warranty.

He was able to walk me through all of my questions and handle the business that we needed to take care of with my warranty and in the end get everything handled including using all of my coupons for the services that were needed. ;)

The dealership gives lower prices online to lure you in. Of course after you test drive a car and say you are interested. They then tell you.. oh by the way the price online gives discounts you don’t qualify for. Since I was not a returning Ferman customer and did not have a trade - in. So now the car Evan( the salesman) confirmed was the same price as what I saw online in the beginning.Actually is $3000 more then what is advertised. The product specialist I spoke with online before coming should have told me that. Evan should have also mentioned it to me since I wanted to stay in a certain price range. After I told him I would keep looking for a car and to have a great day. He never said let’s see if we have any other car in your price range or let’s see what we can do. Let’s me know he didn’t give a damn about me as a customer.

I felt like I was not appreciated as a customer. They did something to my door handle an when we talked to the manager he treated us like we were lying. His exact words was you got your battery changed my guys would not have used the inside door handle. So how did they drive my car with the door open? They forgot to put my battery cover back on my battery and they also forgot to give me my key. Again when I told them they forgot to give me my key he made seem as if I was lying. This is my fifth time here and I wasnt happy with the last three times. Only reason I came back this time was because of my warranty.

My 1st appointment was scheduled on 7/20/2021 with Michael at 8:20 AM. The appointment was for a tire alignment, rotation, check the breaks and check a leak in the passenger front tire. Michael called and told me I would need an alignment, rotation, break pads replaced, rotors resurfaced and both front tires replaced. All of this was covered under my warranty except for one of the tires. I was told it would be over $300 to replace the one tire and upon further research I could purchase that exact tire for a little more than $200 somewhere else. I told him to do all that was needed EXCEPT replace both tires. I told Michael to replace the ONE tire that was under the warranty but to not worry about the other tire. When I came to pick up car around 4 PM he stated that they could not do the alignment due to the steering shaft needing to be replaced. He said he would contact me the next day to bring my car back in. I did not hear from him again. I had to call and text for an update where he stated that the tire had arrived but the steering shaft still had not. Over a week later Ryan called me to reschedule the appointment. I dropped my vehicle off on 7/29/2021 at 9:20 AM. I made him aware I will need my car back after work and he said it should be finished by 1 or 2 PM at the latest. I called at 3 PM to confirm that I will be coming to pick it up in about an hour. No one answered so I left a message. I get notifications via text message when my tires go flat and I received the text that my tires were flat at 3:30 PM. When I arrived to pick up my car after 4 PM they were still not finished with it and I expressed how I found it concerning that it takes about 8 hours to do an alignment and replace 1 tire and the steering shaft. After waiting about 10-15 mins Ryan told me they replaced both tires, I was very confused and told him I did not agree to that and I had a text message that I sent to Michael confirming what I had asked to be done (Message saved to avoid something like this happening). I told Ryan I was quoted over $300 and he said that did not sound correct so I asked him the proper quote. When Ryan came back he apologized for the confusion and the misunderstanding as well as the time it took to work on my car. He stated the paperwork said to replace both tires but he was aware I did not ask for that. He gave me both tires at no cost and was very kind and apologetic. I came to Ferman GMC due to a bad experience with the Service center at Century Buick GMC in Tampa (Where the vehicle was purchased). I was hoping for a much better experience at Ferman and I was fairly disappointed with the internal communications. I am very thankful for the help and communication that Ryan provided. He was very professional, kind and helpful with all my concerns. I drive this vehicle about 1000 miles every other weekend so having a dependable service center is very important to me. I hope to work with Ryan more in the future.

Very disappointed with the service team. Service Advisor did not let me know that my vehicle was ready. While I was waiting he came to the lounge to inform other customer of the status of their vehicle. Secondly after I signed the service order he handed me the key and dismissed me. I had to ask for a receipt for my records. I also had to request a voucher for the car wash. I wasnt offer a voucher like other customers.

I used the courtesy van 3 times this year, in August, October and December for a lift home when I dropped my husbands truck off for service. When I noticed the spill in August, I just made a note of it because it was possible it could’ve just happened. After the October lift, it was still there so my husband called to let the team know that it was dirty. NOTHING HAPPENED!! Let’s not forget, we are in the middle of a pandemic!! I rode in the van again yesterday and the same darn spill stain is on the passengers sliding door. Come on GMC, you really can’t have someone clean your courtesy van regularly that hundreds of customers utilize during a PANDEMIC!!!

The first tech I spoke to said there was nothing wrong with my tire and proceeded to over inflate ALL my tires! I returned a week later ( after having stopped everyday at the gas station to fill the tire I said had something wrong with it!) only to have to replace the tire I asked to have fixed.

I needed a quick fix on my left front turn signal. Ferman got me in quickly and in an hour I was on my way home again after paying the VERY REASONABLE bill. I miss being able to change a signal bulb myself [process too cumbersome & involved these days for an old man], but Im happy to know there are still dealerships out there that are willing and able to deal with even the smallest issues without charging the customer an arm and a leg.

Large slow moving bureaucracy of a dealer. No focus on customer customer service, or making right on what they promise. Management fails to empower staff to make decisions so staff works around management rules. They dont stand by their word or promises. Hard to reach individuals or management to resolve issue. Theyre always in a different building or I can give them a message.EDIT: I appreciate the reply from the owner, however it doesnt solve the problem or provide anyway to contact them. As I have said, in my original review, I have tried to resolve the issue by contacting the dealer, but that is very frustrating, leaving a message for management gets returned by a salesman who has no information and no way to resolve the issue. Management provides no empowerment, simply rules that often make little sense and are anything but customer centric. If the owner was serious in their desire to solve the problem they would provide contact information.

Few weeks back I was told they no longer wash trucks since covid. Yet the Ferman BMW and Tarpon Chevy has been washing my vehicles regularly when service during the pandemic. Poor experience and excuse getting into my truck to find oil on my steering wheel, underside of the door handle and down the side of my vehicle left by the mechanic. To top it off the mechanic sees my frustrations, yet walks in the other direction! Brother, grab a rag and clean up after yourself.

I went into the dealership to cancel my gap insurance that I bought when I purchased the car. Come to find out 2 and a half months later the finance rep never submitted the information to the insurance company. Every time I called I could never get ahold of anyone. Completely wasted my time, and was very unprofessional. Most definitely would not recommend anyone to this dealership.

Service was not good. Went in because rear window would not come up. Paid $120 (plus a shop material fee that was not disclosed up front) diagnostic fee. After waiting 2 hours they tell me the that I need a $1100 of service work plus the window assembly/motor. I went in for the window not the inspection. I never consented up from to have the “inspection”. The inspection is what took so long to and then they finally tell me about the window issue that I actually went in for. After an $891 quote and 2 hours wasted I left. I was told the part was $400 and labor was roughly $400 plus the tax etc. well I found a NEW part for $95 and labor was $120. 🤔

I come here because I own a VERY nice GMC. Had an oil change and some other maintenance things looked over. When they sent me my inspection report and quote, they were going to charge me $40 in labor to install a cabin air filter. I bought it for $30 at auto zone and installed it myself. I didnt like that AT ALL. The last time I was there they did not courtesy wash or vacuum my vehicle. Why bring it to the dealership and have it listed on my receipt as it being done and NOT do it. I didnt have time to argue with any one. So I left.

Oil change was fine. Staff was fine. I am a repeat customer. Never any prior issues. Two issues. One is minor. I requested my clock be re-set. It was not. I figured it out. Major issue. I awoke at 4 am to hit the road for my Christmas trip to a flat tire. Upon examining it, I see where on of the staff members circled a nail in yellow, possibly discovered during the rotation. No repair was made, nor was this brought to my attention to ask if I wanted repair or replacement. Instead, this morning my trip is now delayed until the tire shop opens.

Stopped in after having a bad experience early in the day at another dealership. Brad (salesmen) was great. Showed knowledge and never applied any pressure as we went from truck to truck. In the end we chose the first truck he showed us. Up to that point this experience was a 5 star. Unfortunately, after waiting for a long time to see the finance guy we discovered that that the finance guy ignored the fact that we came with pre-approved financing and specifically requested not to have another credit check done. Instead of respecting our request, he fired out a rate check causing at least 3 other companies to pull credit checks. When asked why he did this even though we specifically requested he not do it, he lied to our faces, and said it was required by our pre-approved creditor. While in his office we confirmed with BOA that this was not required and confronted the finance guy with it and he just smiled like whatever. Brads friendliness and professionalism saved this sale because my wife was ready to drop the whole deal because the finance guy ignored our request and then lied about it.

Sales was fine but probably not the best car buying experience ever. You had the truck I wanted, supply was limited so I paid the price. It wont always be this way. The F&I department is sad. I have a 836 credit score and when presented with a 3.89% financing rate I was shocked. I asked for a better rate and was told that was my deal. I had already provided everything I was asked to provide and had already been at the dealership for 2+ hours. It was time to leave so I signed the deal and now will refinance. I really feel sorry that when asked, your F&I guy couldnt find a better deal, he just didnt care. He was more interested in ordering and paying for dinner than he was in my truck deal. Hey, guys have to eat, just dont do it when Im sitting in front of you in your office as my time is just as important. Maybe you will take note in the future. Best of luck in 2021.Additionally, if you want to sell cars on the internet to out of state buyers then it should be a much more streamlined process. I have purchased numerous GM Trucks over the internet. I expected to have all the paperwork completed, but it wasnt. I expected it to be relatively streamlined in F&I, but it wasnt.UPDATE 3.22.21 When I purchased my vehicle I was given a we owe for a rear view trailer camera. Well, almost 4 months later I dont have anything from these guys! They also promised my a front license plate bracket but that was already on order and being shipped to my home address so i didnt get that added to my we owe slip. Needless to say, I never received that either.I dropped my review to one star and starting the complaint process with General Motors. Unfortunately these guys are not trustworthy and dont do what they say. Buyer Beware!

This place supports an environment for sales reps to use dishonest sales tactics. JT the salesman was extremely deceitful when selling my grandfather a new car this weekend. Its really a shame when people blatantly lie and use marketing tactics to push an un-honest sale, especially when working with the elderly. After reading other reviews, bait and switch and pressuring individuals into financing seems to be a pattern for Ferman associates. I would suggest making sure you bring others with you before purchasing a car from this dealership group.Update 3/29: we did call the dealership yesterday to further discuss this matter and to tell them our experience, where we were told that management doesnt work on the weekends and there was nothing they could do. That salesman also lied and about how pricing works. So your generic response from the owner of saying please contact us so we can discuss- is just a generic message to make it seem like you care.

Amazing service. I walked in into the dealership to trade my car through Kelly Blue Book instant cash feature and was greeted by Josh.This guy is amazingly calm, listened to me and my requirements talked to me so well that I’ve never experienced at any other dealerships. The best part was no hassles and my car was appraised in less than 10 mins. Josh explained every detail of appraisal and how they came up with that number and to be honest it was more than what I expected.Would I ever return to the dealership? When you have an appointment for an oil change it should take no more than 2 hours, not 4. It is screwed up if the appt. Is just for the service writer as I was told, and not the technician. Why bother with appts at all?

Steve W. and the whole service dept deserve a huge shout out for really doing an outstanding job - especially during Covid-19. My schedule changed last min and my wife had to swap vehicles with me and take my 2015 Tahoe in for service. Steve and the gang treated her with the best respect and really did a great job accommodating her to work remotely. Had a funky abs sensor issue that a couple of other mechanics could not diagnose or fix. Usually skeptical of dealer service but figured Id have to have a GM tech look at it to fix it correctly. Service guy was nice, and diagnosis was quick, accurate and problem fixed. Pricey though, but it was fixed right so Im good with it. Good experience and will try them again.Another good experience, got my ac components fixed. Again, pricey, but done right.

Last week had an unexpected problem with my husbands 2011 GMC Terrain. Called Ryan in service. As always his service was thorough, efficient and reassuring. About two weeks earlier, I had to have my 2015 GMC Terrain unexpectedly serviced. Mike in service helped me. These guys make a good team... one of my key fob batteries had run out and a third service man jumped up and took care of it without Ryan even asking. Again, very good service! Our GMCs are older and we want to make them last. Your service team - from the gentlemen who check the cars in, to the service technicians, to the mechanics never disappoint! Thank you!
