I was looking for some comic books that I needed for my kid. The particular series had gone up significantly in demand, because most all stores had drastically underestimated the appeal of this particular comic. A number of stores were price gouging the comics at $25 per, and Jeff was aware of this. Still Jeff offered to stand by the face value of the comic and refused to charge any additional amount. Jeff also stayed on the phone with me for about 45 minutes and went over all the shipping dates for the various comic books in the series. Jeff went over the first print, second print, and third print dates that were available and seemed happy to do it. Hopefully Jeff gets set up again in a physical location store because his former comic store in Hewlett was a great place to go, however Im perfectly fine meeting Jeff elsewhere in the interim since he puts a lot of effort into communicating with his customers.

Anthony and vanessa, your boxes of comics were not worth the price you were asking for and i declined to buy them i was not interested in boxes of independant titles which i discussed with you the majority were not marvel or dc, it was indepemdant. Since then your calls and texts of harrassment and now bombardment of fake reviews are ridiculous and hostile. Your recent spam attacks and harrassment from numerous fake accounts that you keep posting have been reported to google and the authorities with your phone number address and ip address. I stopped in during a recent trip in the area. They have a pretty good collection of back issues in their bins. I found some and bought them at decent prices. New releases are bagged so thats nice! The wall comics are little pricey and above what Id pay, but thats just my opinion. They have a big toy figure collection for sale, too. Lots of cheap comics for kids. There is a lot of choice, and different price points, so its a terrific comic shop!

I came there they told me they will meet me in the parking lot they didn’t even have a storefront some weird guy Nick I talk to over the phone tried to take avantage of me do not buy comics here

Love Time Warp. People who are complaining are those who WANT things cheap. Back issues go up with price. Comics depending on type do rise and fall via price. I NEVER had a problem with their prices. They always have the most interesting items. And Jeff can get just about anything you want. I love looking at the figures making mental notes of what to buy when i come back. Extremely friendly and helpful. Never gonna find a more friendly comic book store owner like Jeff.

Man was very nice. Great service. He was welcoming and went out of his way to find the manga I was looking for. He should be encouraged to take pictures of the inside of the store thought. Overall excellent 👍

These guys are crazy overpriced they do not even have a storefront they want to meet you in a parking lot and charge 20% more than the comics worth stay away from these guys

Vintage style card/comic shop with everything you could ask for in such a place. Has a very nostalgic vibe.

I am very impressed with Time Warp. I really wished I had this shop back home. Jeff is very helpful. Loves talking comics with details and enthusiasm. I am working from out of town and had a pull list with a shop within walking distance where I have had an extended stay with. I have to make a hike to Time Warp but well worth it.The other shop seems to pull the comics in the worst condition. Everything I have gotten from Time Warp has been in very well kept condition. To those that like to get comics that would be graded well and not blatantly overpricing variants. Time Warp is the place to go. It has been night and day with the experience Ive had with the comic stores in Long Island area. Time Warp is creme of the crop in my opinion and will try to stay in touch and order remotely in the future.

Very Nice store. Spacious and extremely well stocked. Has last 8-12 months of recent books at cover price and a huge selection of back issues, action figures and TPBs. Very helpful owner who is always very patient answering my sons endless questions.

Absolutely an amazing store, everything is in great condition and I got what I needed. Its a great store for collectibles and comics they have almost anything you can think of.

Ridiculously overpriced back issues. Some issues that were only a few months old he wanted $10 when they were originally $3.99, went to another comic store and the issues were still $3.99. It is a little tough to find stuff since its not very well organized but the owner is willing to help find it. He does seem come off as a rude person but his willingness to find you the comic cancels it out.

Took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free special over Black Friday. Since I dont live close did it all through dm on Instagram. It was shipped out the same day, and had it in a couple of days. It was packed correctly, had no issue with damaged items. All and all great experience.

I love going to this place. I go there maybe once every 2-3 weeks. I dont have an interest in comics, but his collection of yugioh cards is great and I like to purchase 1 or 2 packs there whenever I go.

Time Warp is an amazing store! It ranges from Hulk and Call of Duty comics, all the way to Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards!Not to mention the owner, Jeff is a really nice guy and every single comic is in great condition.

Jeff and Nick advertise products from the store on sale on facebook. I was in communication with Nick to buy a few Star Trek action figures for my nephew. Nick and I agreed on a price - $4 per figure (at most) for 20 or more figures, and he told me to come by the shop and lets make a deal. I didnt come by for a couple of weeks but when I came in, Jeff the owner was there. Jeff knew nothing of the deal. And when I showed Jeff the facebook messages, Jeff said that Nick is just a salesboy who wasnt authorized to make that deal at that price. Jeffs offer was for $7.50 a figure, almost 100% more than the deal I agreed to. I had driven out to Time Warp from Manhattan just to buy the figures for my nephew. I dont blame Jeff per se, but I do expect an owner of a store to honor the prices that their sales associates agree to and this just felt like a bait and switch. Nick tried to claim the deal no longer was on because I didnt go to the store the same day, but he never said to do that in his message. Regardless, he couldnt explain how the deal went from $4 each for 20 to $7.50 each for 30.

Sellers beware. This is not an honest company to sell your merchandise to. They will lie and rip you off. By the way, their latest batch of Batman black and white - they paid us about $5 for each one (including boxed, autographed items), claiming they are scratched and faded and couldnt possibly get more than $15 for them. So buyer beware.
