I had a really good experience with this company. My husband has ordered from them before and had good experiences so when I decided to get some coloured chess pieces, I went to them. Their selection is really impressive and their customer service is great. I wrote to them regarding the shipping fees and they responded very quickly and in a caring, personal manner, despite this being a very busy time for them since the Queen’s Gambit exploded in the chess world. I ordered some pink pieces and some red pieces and love both. I ordered some lighter red ones, and some weighted red ones, and both are great. I use the red ones all the time now, and the pink ones I will be taking camping with us in the summer. My husband and I have had issues with other companies losing things or getting our order wrong, but not them. They are professionals lead by caring people.

Everything about the process was great.The company sponsors my local chess club (I’m in a nearby city), gave great suggestions over the phone, and let me drive there to pick up my set so I had it within a couple hours of ordering.The pieces feel great and everything is made of quality materials. I will buy from here again when I upgrade to my next chess set

I chose to purchase some Chess products from Chess House, in part because of the excellent customer service they are said to have. I have to say that they do live up to their reputation. My order was missing an item, but after sending them an email explaining that I was missing an item and that I didn’t really need them to replace the missing item since it was only worth $6.00. But they chose to ship me the missing item anyways, even though they are extremely busy at the moment due to the Chess boom. Chess House is excellent and will be my store of choice for any future Chess related purchases.

CONS:They do not have a store to go into. It is all online.PROS:But I showed up at the warehouse. Called the number did not catch the order takers name. But he did a fantastic job getting me what I wanted. To the curb in less then 10 min.Great quality

Ordered a glass chess set on Dec 1 as a gift. Took about a week to get it (carrier delays). Upon inspecting everything - since it is glass - I found 2 pieces that were broken and 1 that was completely misshapen. Tried calling - no answer. Took photos, emailed them - no answer. Emailed again a week later - no answer. Called again and left a voicemail - no call back. Tried posting a review on their website - it was blocked. If I could get replacement parts, this would have been a great review. But having no only bad, but zero customer service is how companies go out of business. I’ll be filing a complaint with my credit card company soon, if I can’t get through to someone.

Thank you guys for the Replacement. Within a week time I have my frosted glass piece. Here is for one happy Grandpa, you guys Rock.

I love Chess House, as a chess player, nothing is better than a location full of chess equipment and knowledge in a quite location.
