Very knowledgeable about aftermarket differentials and transmissions, had them install a KAZZ 1.5 lsd isn’t my R180 STI diff housing. This was my very first experience using KC Martin Transmissions. My transmission went out two weeks ago and I waited a couple days calling around to a lot of different shops before deciding on KC Martin. My Community page had seven people specifically recommending this shop. I am So Satisfied I would give them 20 Stars if I could. I spoke with Eric several times he was good about explaining the charges and the work they were going to do. Since its expensive to replace a transmission or rebuild a transmission. He called me to verify I wanted him to do the work once there was a complete quote. A friend of mines husband whats that a local auto dealership he also recommended KC Martin without knowing that I had already gotten seven recommendations for KC Martin transmission. He told me theyre dealership sometimes sends cars to KC Martin to get fixed as well. I am a thousand percent satisfied with the service with the professionalism and with my repair. I would recommend them to anyone who wants their job done right the first time and isnt looking for cheap ways or shortcuts that will only end you up in the car shop again. Great shop. They are fairly priced and all the mechanics know what they are doing. Ive never once had to go back because they didnt do something right. They also just tell you how it is. If something broke they will tell you. Its on its way out, they will let you know and you can decide whether you want them to fix it or not. I dont take my car anywhere else and Im at 186000 miles problem free.

I had my transmission done there 3 or 4 years ago and was very pleased with the service and personnel. Ive gone back annually for oil change. Etc..always a good experience.

Had a slight issue with my transmission and took it to the Dodge dealership in Kirkland. They charged $166 to diagnose the issue and the fix was over $1600. Fortunately for me the part was on back order for one month so I took it to KC Martin for a second opinion. They diagnosed my issue for free and said that the intermittent issue was not the big fix like the Dodge dealership told me it was a simple and inexpensive fix. Great experience and very honest. 2011 Ram 1500.

I just moved here from Tennessee and my 2014 red Ford Fusion started having issues. They looked it over and determined the issue to be a broken clutch converter. They explained exactly what it would be worth to fix or to trade in for a different car. I took their advice and traded my car for a Camry and if/when this one has issues I’m going to them. They have a lifetime customer now. They’re ethical and really good at what they do. I left very impressed. I scheduled to drop it off and it only took maybe a few hours to determine the problem. 2007 F150 XLT. 107,235 miles. Transmission was making a whining noise and was shuddering. Erich and his team, Andy and Joel diagnosed it as a bad torque converter. As they opened the transmission, they also found metal shavings. So I went with the full rebuild. My truck runs now like its new and lots of power on the mountains. Warranty is 2 years or 24,000 miles. I checked other shops but went with KC Martin because of their reputation and knowing that they do the job right the first time and stand by their work with very skilled mechanics.

Took my truck back for a 2nd time. No fault to the shop, just a poorly designed transmission by Chrysler....Id definitely go back. Staff knows their stuff and the warranty I had last time covered everything.

Had F250 SD transmission replaced. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and honest shop. Great customer service. Joel took time to explain what caused the problem to cause transmission to fail, and he took additional steps to modify fluid cooling system so it wouldnt happen again. Good work!

I had an Eaton TrueTrac HLSD installed into my Nissan, and I also had them do the axle seals at the same time.So far, so good....time will tell if the service holds up.But, what I do know so far: Workmanship seems excellent. A few months later and I have noting to complain about, the rear diff housing is dry so that looks good so far. I will be taking my truck on an overland journey soon, but I expect their work to hold up.I must say though, there is something I am really impressed by these guys: Today I finally got around to disposing of the old rear diff assembly that they returned to me. They returned it COMPLETELY clean, not a smidge of oil on it, the box was clean, everything clean. KC cleaned my old used parts! Why does this matter? Because since the parts were clean, I can just throw that high-quality steel right into the recycle bin at my home! Even the box was clean, no oil. I now have even more confidence that KC did a good job seeing as how they took the effort to return the old parts in excellent condition and not just send me off with a greasy mess.Highly recommended!

I recommend this place to everyone. We have had 3 different cars serviced here. The first was our Toyota Venza. Magic Toyota wanted close to 5k to replace the transmission. I wanted a second opinion. Andy at KC Martin suggested flushing the transmission out first and trying an additive before going all in on replacement. It worked! Car is now coming up on 190k miles. Since then I have brought in our Ram 3500 and Prius for preventative maintenance because I trust these guys so much. Way cheaper than dealership rates and guys are super honest.

I took my truck in for a diagnostic and repair of what I assumed would be valve body solenoids. The guys at KC couldnt find any problems with it and returned it to me with a good explanation of what I was feeling in my drive-line. Good communication and peace of mind, thats something I can appreciate. If I have any other issues in the future I know where I will be going.

I have done business with kc Martin and kc Martin transmission for years and when you talk to Andy and he says it should be done on Monday or early Tuesday and you stop by on Monday to see were the truck is at and how much it is going to cost you they have not started it so now it’s going to be late Tuesday. So after careful consideration it’s time to take the truck somewhere else to get it fixed in a timely matter very disappointed in this transaction forgot to mention that the truck was dropped off on Thursday not Friday and when you stop by at about 1:30 in the afternoon and the truck is not even in the shop and everyone is just standing around talking its really easy to say that we were just about to get started on it. And by the way your diagnosis on the leak was wrong.

Brought my Jeep to KC Martin Transmissions to have my transmission cooler lines replaced and a fluid service done. Andy was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. I requested to use OEM parts and they had no problem sourcing and installing them. Prices were about what it would have costed elsewhere, maybe even a little lower. Im pleased with the work they did and the service I was provided. I will return to this shop in the future and would recommend KC Martin Transmissions to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable professionals to service their vehicles.

Love this place. They installed my alternator and they were quick and efficient! They also just did my water pump on 2/21/2018 and will be putting in a new radiator! I cant say enough good things about this place!

Bottom line is I trust these guys to do the job right. Had been going to another shop, but for a transmission problem they recommended KC Martin. Once I discovered they did work other than transmissions, been going to them for every thing since 2009. Two things really sold me on them. On my pickup the dealer said I needed some major work done. Took it to KC for a second opinion, they didnt think so, and its been running fine without the work. Then on my Jeep, had a chronic air conditioning problem where I could only run it on the freeway, in stop and go traffic it would quickly overheat. The old shop looked at it several times and never fixed the problem. KC fixed it in passing on a routine oil change on their courtesy inspection. The other shop had never connected the AC fan pig tail! Love this shop!

I came here thinking that the throwout bearing on my truck needed replacing, but that ended up not being the case. Joel took my truck out for a test drive and he believed it was the heat shield and maybe a combination of a worn out exhaust system making all the noise I was hearing. They didn’t repair anything, but I very much appreciate the honesty and not trying to get money out of me right from the get go.

In my experience these guys are honest. My wife broke down on the I-5 close to the shop and I had it towed there after hours. Our Jeep would not go in drive...only reverse....transmission! Andy at the shop said they would take a look first thing in the morning but to expect 2200-3400 for rebuild.Andy called me at 830am to tell me it was not the transmission but it was a brake caliper that came loose and jammed a wheel. They had her back on the road in a couple hours for $250.Im from Canada and was calling from Canada and he could have told me anything so Im very grateful for the honest service.I had called Best Towing and he bad mouthed these guys and then promised me the minimum tow charge on I-5 was $160. He was wrong about both.Thanks Andy and crew and if I ever need a rebuild I would bring the Jeep there...and the warranty extends up to Canada and all US!

I stopped by without an appointment to ask about having a bearing pressed onto my transmission. I had already done most of the work myself but hit a point where I didnt have the special tools needed to complete the job. KC Martin transmissions pulled and pressed the bearing in my transmission free of charge in the 10 minutes I was there! I had only stopped by for an opinion and to make an appointment. Even though they were extremely busy they took the time to help me out at no cost. Very friendly and helpful. I will be returning for my other transmission needs.

Theyre service is for real. Had a chance to experience it yesterday. With short notice, they took my daughters CR-V for a test drive to diagnose vibration problem. Another well regarded mechanic though the transmission was the cause for the vibration. Was very relieved when they confidently stated there was no issue with the transmission and the real culprit is the snow tires, Michelin ice. Gladly went and bought set of new Bridgestone Blizzaks. And there was no fee for the diagnosis.Count me as feeling amazed by their service. Will be bringing my Suburban for next transmission service. Thanks!

My 2006 Civic needed a new transmission and clutch. A friend of mine highly recommended this place, so I took it in, got a reasonable quote, and decided to go ahead with repairs. Once they pulled the tranny and saw the extent of damage, they gave me a call to update their original quote and said it would take an additional day - 3 days total. I said okay. They called me at the end of the 2nd day to let me know my car was already done, and I could come pick it up anytime. It cost what they said it would cost, and it was done early. About 3 weeks later, my speedometer stopped working so I took it back, figuring they mustve messed up somewhere. After about 45 minutes, they had replaced the sensor. My thought at that moment was, oh great, how much more is this going to cost but they didnt charge me ANYTHING, NOT ONE RED CENT, for the part or for their time. Bottom line: they might not be the cheapest shop, but you cant beat their professionalism and level of service. Highly recommend this shop!

Took my truck in cause wouldnt shift rite and they looked at it and said a bolt came out they fixed that inexpensive then had to take back 6 months later for sensors in tranny and they found that my rearend was shot and a few other things they fixed all that and told me to keep an eye on the tranny since they now found shavings on the magnet so 9 months goes by and its back in to have the transmission rebuilt and cost was another $3800 but excellent service and quick turn around.

Im am from out of town and needed some help with a vibration that showed up. Joel, found it quickly and I was very happy with their curteous and friendly service. I would definitely use them again!!!

Nice at first but when it didnt want to replace thing that they werent sure was going to fix the problem they got short with me. They were not trough with information and beat around the bush. I really felt like they were trying to take advantage of me being a young girl that didnt know much about cars a made a few phone calls to some friends and was told I should leave and not have work doen there because they were not being straight forward with me. They wanted to charge me $800 for what ended up being a $120 fix.Erick was the transmition specialist name.The front desk guy was rude too and wouldnt help me with part numbers after I said I didnt want to buy anything without it for sure being the problem.
