Meghan in pharmacy is an exceptional pharmacist. Walgreens is lucky to have someone so caring, compassionate and patient work for them. My insurance was being a pain but she was on the phone, didn’t give up until she figured out what was going wrong. It took over an hour of her on the phone but not once did she seem annoyed or made me feel like a burden. Even assisted other customers while doing so with the same compassion. You don’t often come across customer service like she provided, I appreciate it entirely!
Mask Nazis. Literally lied to me about not having a product in the store. I am medically unable to wear a mask and was in terrible pain. Also receiving a lot of hostility in this situation was beyond unnecessary and was spiteful.
Great service and staff is always friendly. The pharmacy staff goes out of there way to help. I love Kelly back in pharmacy. She always has a smile as well as the rest of the staff. Best place in rockford for help and knowledge!!
Took someone for shingles shot
Rarely does a prescription go through easy almost always have an issue. I have the app on phone but its useless because they cant follow through. So every month I have to call numerous times to get everything straight. Waist of my time due to there follow through. If you call and someone says they will have it ready in the a.m. better call first thing in the morning because it wont be done and the next day know one will have a clue about it. Falls through the cracks.
I would get a prescription filled every month so that would mean order enough to fill customer prescription. It started to be that every month I would go have it filled and I would hear we dont have enough to fill it. Because of the type of script it is I would have to fill all of it or go back to the Dr and get a new script for the remainder. You are a pharmacy correct?
Covid vaccine
Waiting in line half hour just to drop my son script off,showed up the NEXT day waited anther 20min to find out they hadnt even filled it yet told me it would be ready in.15 min. After 35 I had to ask where it was so i could go home
The staff was very friendly to me. When there was a pricing issue at the register they fixed it right then and there. Also, there are two RedBox kiosks outside the store which is very convenient.
Poor turn around regarding prescription filling and unreliable hours. I attempted to pick up my sons medication and called twice, 4 hours apart. The last call the pharmacist said it was ready and I could pick it up. I got to the store at 4:55 and it was closed - mind you, this was right after getting off the phone with the pharmacist. I was told to just transfer it to another store after already having waited 4 hours and called to confirm it was ready.
Update from a year later: I gave them another chance (dumb) and they still cant get prescriptions filled or accurate. No more chances.This rating is primarily for the pharmacy. It is, hands down, the worst customer service that I have ever experienced at a Walgreens pharmacy. Theyve canceled prescriptions without consulting the doctor, they have taken hours to fill a prescription. Save yourself a headache, go to Meijers.
**WARNING***PLEASE SHARE***I received this letter a about a week ago, ironically the same day I was to pick up my refill of Losartan. I was reassured the refill was not tainted, but Walgreens was not able to research prior refills. They do not keep track of bottle lot numbers, which indicates the manufacturer batch. Upon doing my own research to determine if my prior refills were tainted, I called Torrent which is the manufacturer. They had me read the number off my current pill 💊. I was completely disturbed when they told me,”your Losartan is the Tainted/Poisoned.” So I called Walgreens back to inform them, they were distributing the tainted drug! Walgreens Response: “NO ONE IS AVAILABLE, THEY WILL CALL YOU IN AN HOUR OR SO.” So then I called WALGREENS HOT LINE! WALGREENS 2ND RESPONSE: “SOMEONE WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 5-7 DAYS!!! You dont allow someone to wait at the window for there meds they just called in for someone like me who called it in ahead of time to wait 35 minutes and another 10 minutes inside. Ill just take my business to Costco for the future.
Use a different Walgreens .
Horrible. Was told my prescription would be ready in 45 minutes, so I go to get them an hour and a half later with my sick 3 year old and sick 1 year old in the car with me. When I get there guess what its not ready and Im asked to drive around again a wait behind everyone else after already waitng in line for 20 minutes. Also it was 15 degrees outside. I had to leave and couldnt wait anymore. Dont tell people something will be done a certain time if its not going to be!
Horrible customer service. And they messed up my prescription three Months in a row.
