Verizon 5G upgrade trade-in credit hassle! Be aware!Bestbuy Madison Height store advertised $800 promotion credit towards your trade-in if you sign up Verizon 5G unlimited plan. After you completed the upgrade, they did not honor the trade-in offer. Very dishonest and looks like they just want to lure you into the upgrade then screw you up! Avoid their mobile phone department! The manager named Matt behaves very rude and unprofessional. First time in my life to see they treat their customer like this! Will NEVER deal with them again!

Purchase went well - it was delivery and installation that was disappointing. The Geek Squad cancelled twice which covered 14 days. Geek wanted to reschedule for another 8 days away. Received refund for items purchased, delivery and installation. Went to ABC Warehouse. Actually Best Buy did me a favor - saved over $200. THANK YOU BEST BUY - HELLO ABC WAREHOUSE

Its really waste of time after spending for 30+ minutes just to know about the change in trade-in value promotion for phones. There is no one specialized to assist a newly joined Best Buy associate, though he tried to reach out to various other co-associates. A senior associate was able to identify after a lot of research. Its very sad.

Horrible manager. I was there to exchange a phone I bought last night due to it being defective and was met with the rudest staff and manager Ive ever seen in retail. He tried to force me to pay a $45.00 restocking fee when in writing it says if item is defective no restocking fee applies. The manager insisted I was lying about the phones functionality and even told me I was using it wrong. Its a phone, how do you use it wrong? Maybe as a doorstop or paperweight. I dont know but at the end he just threw his hands up and told me to go to another Best Buy location and see if they would help me. Well I did. I went to the Auburn Hills Best Buy and did the exchange with the up most ease. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. No restocking applied due to item being in fact defective. DO NOT GO TO MADISON HEIGHTS BEST BUY. Save your self the stress.

Very slow customer service. Came in to buy a camera already knew what I wanted but just needed someone to unlock the safe. The employees seem to be chatting up a storm in their little cliques so I waited a little over 20 minutes until I decided to grab somebody it was not from that area. Turns out they didn’t even have it in stock nor any of the others nearby stores.

Needed a fitbit charge 4 bracelet replacement for this cheapie one I purchased from Amaz*n that fell apart. I went to Best Buy and I purchased a cute fitbit white mesh one and Im happy with it. Strange sense entering these stores. You really wonder how long they will hold on for, before shutting down to 100% online. Stating that, got a great deal on my Chest Freezer. Here is where I give 4 instead of 5 stars, as when I walked up to the check out I had to wait 3 minutes before anyone aknowledged. (Mind you even waved to the people that would help)

I bought a range, it was delivered alright. 16 days later, I noticed there is an unfinished enamel area right under the back panel, barely visible unless you crane you neck.I called, I was told I was past my 2 weeks an needed to speak with the manufacturer. I did, they told me to speak with Best Buy. I called back, and spoke with Sharon. I explained, she told me I had to call the manufacturer back. I was frustrated, and requested a supervisor. She hung up. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THEM, MISLEADING BUSINESS PRACTICES AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I made a Geek Squad appointment. That took two minutes. Five minutes later Apple informed me about how to fix my issue with the product. I then spent a little more than 20 minutes trying to cancel the appointment with Best Buy. That was more time than I should have wasted. On my last attempt, the call was disconnected.I hope that theyre not too mad when I dont show up.

Drove a friend here to buy a phone charger (which you can get anywhere) but she insisted. We went to the Verizon dealer who found out the charging port had debris in it which made it hard to insert the cord. He carefully cleaned it out and made it nice for her. I didnt know she was having a charging problem (which is why she thought she needed a new cord). Either way he was really nice and it was worth the trip. It seems Best Buy has started to get rid of all the movies they use to carry.

In and out with no lousy attitudes except my own on account o I was making an exchange and figured it was gonna be a total flippin hassle. No-lo-contender-o-bro as I quickly got a serious attitude adjustment. The employees were welcoming and keen to assist, the selection was far superior than the Best Buy closer to my crib, which in-turn made my wait in line much more easier to tolerate as I was able to use my smart-phone and hook-up with some of the most excellent Asian food near-by. Now I got my patch-chord so I can watch my Cheech & Chong marathon, my tasty lunch, some Green Manalishi AND a new Best Buy to get, answers to all my annoying boomer-questions, from. The cashier was a short Chaldean/Arab looking girl. She rubbed her hands after touching my money like it was dirty. Maybe wear gloves or find remote work? Then she asked if we wanted a bag. We paid $200 for one item honey, put it in a bag without asking. She acted like it came out of her measly paycheck. All I could do was laugh and leave as quickly as possible.

The worst experience. I bought an iphone and it did not connect to my work wifi and car Bluetooth. The best buy person opened up a air pod and showed me that it connects to his pods and bestbuy wifi. That is not good enough because it should be able to connect to other devices other than apple. They should check why I cannot connect to my work wifi when I can connect with an Android phone.I used it for 10 days, what would one do in this case. Return it correct?If the device is faulty they should not charge us any fee. Customers word counts some value. Bestbuy does not care for customers word. They only care for their $45 restocking fee. They should promote products that are high in quality.And the personnel at best buy had an attitude while I was explaining the issue. Very bad customers service.

This was definitely one of my worst experiences purchasing anything from Best Buy. When they wanted me to purchase $1,000 computer they explained everything to me however when I went to pick it up today I apparently needed an appointment for them to explain how to download the Microsoft Word account that I paid for through them and I was dismissed. It seems as if I got better service when I purchased cheaper products from the store.

Pretty good location. Plenty of employees around for help, and they seem to give people in a hurry the chance to get in and get out before approaching and asking questions, which is perfect. Would give 5 stars if not for their corporate strategy of price gouging on things like accessories/cables/adapters that people dont think to shop around for, or are simply necessary in order for the big ticket item they just bought to work.

Avoid this Best Buy at all costs. Their curbside pickup is a joke, and their customer service is even worse.After being told the item would be ready within an hour, I was fed lies by a number of employees for the next 7 hours. I would have rather had the order simply canceled after you realized you didn’t have the item! Instead each time I spoke with someone, I was told I had to sit tight because it was en route from another store and would be there any minute (and certainly before 6). Three hours later, and after 6, I’m now told it’s still waiting to be picked up from the other store. But I’m being told it’s still coming and I can’t go anywhere else to get it!This was the only opportunity I had to get this item before Christmas, and I wasted the whole day on this joke of a store. This store really needs to consider getting a better system, and learn not to blatantly lie to their customers with elaborate stories.Edit: after waiting all day and being promised it was en route to the store, I received an email that night saying it was no longer available. One week later, my debit/ credit card was charged $900 and it will take them 15 days to issue a credit for an item that was never available. Best Buy lost me and any person or business I’m attached to for life. Just use Amazon.

My five-star review is especially for Anthony and Terry, the team who delivered and installed our new microwave recently. They did a fantastic job!To start with, they called to let us know they were on their way. They arrived on time, exactly as promised. They greeted us very professionally as we welcomed them into our home.I couldnt believe it only took them about 15 minutes to remove the old microwave, install a mounting bracket, and secure the new model up on the wall -- always taking great care to not damage anything. They even asked to borrow our vacuum to clean out the sawdust in the upper cabinet.After making sure the appliance was working correctly, they removed all the packing materials along with the old microwave. They politely thanked us for our business and made their way back to their truck. Our house was one of eight deliveries they were scheduled to do that day.(Im so glad we agreed to letting the professionals handle this job, even though there was an extra fee. If I had tried to do this myself, it wouldve taken me at least a week and resulted in several unwanted holes in the wall and a couple trips to the emergency room.)Thank you, Anthony and Terry. Honestly walked in to buy two ~55 Smart TVs with web browsers. Had done a little research at home but wanted to check out the remote control functionality in store. As I approached the sales counter in the TV section, the employee that was leaning on the counter looking down at his phone, walked away. I looked around and noticed he came back to the spot he was leaning. I went to ask him could I see the remotes, he said NOT POSSIBLE, asked about web browsers, he said just one brand. I said ok and walked over to that brand. After reading all the features of 5 brands without as much as him looking up/ moving towards me, I left. I belive they dont work on commission so it doesnt affect his pockets but I WONT BUY ANYTHING from this store. The only reason its getting 2 stars is because I was greeted extra kindly.

I was looking for a new blender (New year is coming and I wanted to try a smoothie diet) and the ones I wanted were out and I didn’t do much research on the ones they had in stock. Most of the time when I go to Best Buy I have to hunt someone down (which is why I went to this one 30mins from my home and I’m glad I did). The sales clerk or manager (I’m calling the store to find out his name) was restocking and came right up and spent a good amount of time helping me pick out the right blender! I was super excited because I didn’t want to order online and wait I wanted all of my things that day so that I could start my cleanse the following Monday. Not only did the guy go the extra mile in my purchase he made sure to ring me up (which sped along my wait time). Once I find his name I’ll add it because he was a ROCK STAR!!!

They need more options for some things but honestly good selection no matter what youre looking for. All the staff were very friendly in the cell phone area and checking out. The gentleman that was to help me find vlogging supplies literally walked away after pointing vaguely in the direction of some items. Im almost completely blind, which I told him, and that I need alot of help because i cant read the information on the boxes nor do I know much about the items id need.. though I tried to talk to get his focus back, he still walked off anyway. I left without buying anything because I needed education on the difference between the items and purchased on Amazon.
