This place is incredible! Im not sure what took me so long to visit. It has literally anything you can think of from computers to arcade cabinets. Everyone who works here is awesome. All very friendly, honest, and helpful. Great prices too!

Whether youre an tech enthusiast, PC builder, or gamer this is the place for most things you will need. The employees are willing to help and are very knowledgeable about the products and can redirect to those more knowledgeable. As for the latest and greatest tech, unfortunately theyre not available due to demands. Microcenter is still one of the best electronics/PC store around.

Everyone in the area is lucky to have this store around. You can’t go wrong with micro center. Everyone inside is helpful if you need help picking parts etc. Or order online and pick up inside to skip the line. Once again, we’re lucky to have this store around - as next closest in in Columbus I believe.

My son introduced me to this place years ago. This is the place to get your computers, printer, ink, monitors, just about all you could imagine! I even received phone tech support (at a cost). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I recently purchased my second printer from this place. I would recommend this place for all your computer needs.

Gina was so much help! She helped me rebuild my pc after finding out my motherboard was defective. She rewired my wiring system and installed a new motherboard and rearranged my fan location to a better spot! She also installed all my drivers so i can use my pc to its fullest potential. Microcenter has one of the best selections for anything computer related, monitors, PCs, and the staff was very helpful, explained I wanted a 27-28 monitor at 600 nits or higher, had none in stock(Probably dont carry Samsung Odyssey G7s), so I bought an Acer Predator 32, as I was about ready to check out, I saw a Razer Iskur gaming chair already built for $423, $76 off retail and already built, a box is not worth that much, the lady who checked me out at customer service was really nice, we chatted for about 5 minutes, who had a bad experience at Home Depot because of availability. Glad I have a buddy with a pickup truck spent $500 more than planned, and I would come back again to but more stuff.

With Billy Whitehouse at my side during my shopping experience I was able to find everything I was there to buy easily and fast. what a great service this man provided and I couldnt be more grateful for his help. The kind helpful and speedy service at this place is unmatched with a general manager like Colleen who made it a point to come out and shake my hand personally is not a better place in town or in the state in my opinion that you can buy electronics. it is worth a travel if you live far away, and worth your money to spend it here. We have been a customer at micro center for many, many years and have usually been very happy with their services and selections. However, the last few times that weve been in (which has been very frequently this last week- thanks new laptop purchase!) we have had the pleasure to speak with and be helped by Stephen Matus. He was unbelievably kind to us and helped us find everything that we needed, he went out of his way to be personable and I genuinely enjoyed the times that we have been able to shop around with his help. He gave his honest opinion on products that we were looking at and steered us in the right direction every time. He wasnt in the department for the laptop that we purchased but I so wish that he was, he did help us with all of the accessories that we needed though. Plus, when we had to come back a third day because we had some issues with the laptop- through no fault of micro center - Stephen was there again, apologized even though it wasnt his fault and still did everything he could to help us out. Ive always been pleased with Micro Center as a company but without a doubt Steven is the best employee weve ever been assisted by. Clearly they know this since every time we have been in within the last week he has been there - he definitely deserves a vacation! But we were so grateful for his help and expertise.

Nobody there gives you the run around and they tell you exactly what you need and what will and won’t work. Prices are excellent and directly in line with competitors. They were even able to price match Best Buy for me as I found the same product 10$ cheaper. This is my go to for all pc related hardware.

Awesome Micro Center! Many more items available than many others. The employees were very friendly and helpful with the questions we had. The store was very clean and well organized. Plenty of parking available and handicap accessible. Definitely check it out if you are looking for something electronic and want to see it in person before purchasing.

I feel like Im waiting in line to go on a roller coaster at check out. Its a 15 min wait. Half of the registers arent even open and the manager is just walking around doing nothing. Someone needs to figure out how to run this store better.

So on one hand, this place is incredible. Their electronics selection is unparalleled for a brick-and-mortar store; Best Buy should be positively embarrassed. Their stock of computer parts was incredible, and their Maker section had a ton of stuff that you just dont find in stores, and would normally need to get online.On the other hand, I came in looking for a 240W power supply for a gaming laptop, and they just straight up dont carry them. Which is a little bizarre given that they sell gaming laptops, many of which presumably need high-wattage supplies. So that was kind of disappointing.At the end of the day, though, I did get some really cool soldering tools at a great price, so overall I highly recommend Micro Center!But seriously, stock some more laptop cords.

COOPER IS ACTUALLY THE BEST, something happened and my computer stopped booting so I took it in to be diagnosed and repaired, Cooper went above and beyond what he needed to do and was very friendly and funny but yet very professional the entire time, texted me with updates the whole way through and made sure I was happy with everything, I even asked if he could install a new cpu cooler in for me and he did happily. If you need help with your pc I’d highly recommend you ask for cooper!! :D

I love this store. I spent a lot of money here & when I was pushed to purchase something I really didnt need, I returned it without the box, instructions & little things.No questions asked. Service was excellent as always. One of the employees helped me out in BYO and then when I stared I wanted something from another department he brought us to another employee. Unfortunately that employee was still busy, however the original BYO guy checked on us and when he saw we were still alone he grabbed another employee for us. This new employee was also great. He showed us where all the camera mics are and even stayed with us as we slowly came to a decision. I highly recommend shopping here for any electronics/computer needs.

I am very excited about Micro Center. First I contacted Apple Support with my problem, but they werent really helpful. Then I waited 2 weeks for an appointment at a geek Apple store, only to be told they cant even touch my laptop, per Apples agreement. REALLY?Then heard about Microcenter and was able to make an appointment there the same day (!!!) with no problem. I didnt have to wait a minute either and the technician Ryan clearly informed me with the possible options.After 2 hours, to my surprise, I received a message that my laptop was fixed. And I thought it would probably take 2 weeks.... Will ONLY use Micro Center with my Apple repairs in the future. They are more professional than Apple themselves.The only thing I have to criticize: why don’t you have a helpline?

My husband went out of his way to try do something nice. He bought me a brand new computer, which is totally awesome of him and I was pretty excited. He told me the price and we both just said, meh, its worth it... then he told me they charged us $400 dollars to assemble it. A baboon in a lab experiment could do the same thing for free and as someone that does and has(same with my husband) assembled and disassembled many computers I was honestly floored. We will be returning it and I will be happy to give you all a lesson on how NOT to charge exorbitant amounts for something so simple. $40? Sure. $400? Actually bonkers. Im sure its just a typical garbage company trying to exploit the general public/older generations that dont know better, but you bet I do.

Took my daughters I pad to get fixed, told me no apple care no warranty nothing they could do but call apple. When I had proof. After calls to apple THEY PUT THE WRONG SERIAL NUMBER IN. When I had proof it wasn’t expired. After waiting 25 minutes in line. Instead of seeing a resolution or double checking they just sent me on my way.

There are lots of websites that sell tech and electronics, but there are a few that will get you much better deals. Micro center is tried and true -They are a full service tech store, offering everything from laptops and gaming systems to wireless routers, servers and audio visual cables. Their very best deals can be found on refurbished, closeout and open box items - these items can vary daily, so it’s a good idea to check back often for new offers. I dont even know I need something until I go in.

There are many good things to be said about the store. The prices are great, the knowledge and attitude being shown while in store is great, but I have noticed a few inconsistencies with my experiences. It is like the store only values the instant money and face they can show, taking the easy pickings while making things not nearly as easy to deal with the moment something takes more than a moment. For example, I original bought parts for upgrading my computer from the store. Great experience. Everybody I talked to was very polite, and knowledgeable. I know the whole customer and sales expert relationship experience, and understood that I was being sold items. That said, it was a great experience. I messed up while personally attempting to upgrade my computer, and decided I would take it into the store to get upgraded, and I might as well do a few more upgrades like a new tower and power supply as well. I was quoted as to having 1-3 day wait time, a completely different attitude from their 4 hour advertisement online. Before I went to the store, they had a phone number up on their google information. Now, 6 days later, that number is gone. Ive had issues having direct contact with the service team they have, their customer service isnt even based in their store. How much can they truly answer my status and in-depth questions off-base? All of this serves to show that they care more about easy online sales and one-offs in store, and less about customers they actually have to invest time in. Overall, I highly suggest treating them as a parts store and only that. If you need repair or service beyond that, Id suggest finding somebody else.

Excellent service. Went to pick up a new monitor & accessories for my parents; salesman got us started in the right direction (I wanted something large enough they could use a larger font without losing screen resl restate), and hoofed it to grab the other things we needed.

Employees were nice most of the things more in stock. I went there to get an Oculus Quest 2 and surprisingly they were actually in stock because they werent before. I bought it right away and it is amazing.

I am a PC nerd who likes to build his own PC for years.My old motherboard was defect so i thought about getting the new generation with MB, CPU and RAM. The new one showed me errors too and i couldnt figure out by myself what was wrong with it. I went to the Micro Center Service at 8pm and Gina Hovell a technician there took a look over it. She worked very professional, calm and found out that my new RAM is defect. Changed it and all worked well. She also gave me some good tips. Perfect service!!!

Almost all of the staff are friendly and helpful, great prices, and despite high traffic its pretty quick for check out. We make sure to bring friends who havent been before and each time we leave, we always have a smile on our faces.

Play land for techno geeks, like my son & me, can spend hours there looking around. Almost always have what you need and stuff you didnt even know you needed until you saw it there! Also educational on some of the latest equipment & components available.

Simply the best computer tech store still in existence. Its probably also the best to have ever existed in Metro Detroit. If you want to buy or build a PC and havent yet set hands on the keyboard, CPU, or whatever this is the place to go as they stock all the brands and products. Also of note is that their selection of peripherals, storage media, printers, monitors and 3D printing supplies is epic and unsurpassed in any brick and mortar store.My only complaint is the same complaint Ive always had about Micro Center--the stock is very, very chaotic. Lots of assistance is available if you cant find what you need (which is a good thing). Overall an excellent store and worth the drive.

So I have several warranties through microcenter... I own a every 3k series card.I purchased a 3070 open box and it is a bad card. Had a 3060 that was doa. I need to replace my 3090 which had a warranty. I am told they would call me when they get a 3090 ftw in.. but they refuse to honor their warranty with my 3070 or 3060. They said I could only get cash back or a credit... but they will only replace my 3090 ftw and call me when they get it in... still no call over a month later.They tell me in order to get a replacement I have to stand in line even though I bought a warranty. I even helped them kick out scalpers in the store and I dont even get a thank you... nothing...They have had stock for thr 3090 ftw in because I have seen customers walk out with them...I am 100% infuriated with them. I spent 2200 on a video card with a warranty and they dont even want to honor warranties... this place used to be awesome but not anymore...I told them if they wouldnt honor their warranties I would leave them a 1 Star review. They didnt care... so if you going to buy a video card dont buy a warranty. They dont honor it and I am now in the process of filing a dispute.Good luck microcenter seeing you kicked me out because I was trying to get a replacement for a card that died or was doa and you tell me I have to stand in line even after spending so much money on a warranty... I am not a happy customer. The level of disrespect is abosulety horrid.If you want to support me change your reviews to 1 star show microcenter that the consumer has rights! Show them we will not be bullied by the seller! Force them to start to honor their warranties.

Some of the reps here arent that great but besides that if you know what youre doing when it comes to building pcs this is the place to go. They have almost, if not, everything and sill price match all competition. Id rather support them than Newegg because of the terrible return process Newegg has and also I like to see what im buying.

Where do I began.... First off, this was my first time shopping at this place 3 weeks ago. I was referred here. Upon walking in the door I was completely lost as to where to go. I went to the back and asked for assistance. Usually, a customer service rep tells you what department to go to. NO! I was walked to the right department and.. he got the attention of a sales rep to help me. I told him what I needed and he went to work. He brought everything to me including the MANAGER!!! She introduced herself to me and asked how was my service so far! My sales rep made sure he introduced the computer security protection software to insure my business was protected from spam and hacks. I bought 2. One for my laptop as well. $80 (each)for 3 years!! You cant beat that! Did I mention while I waited for him to get the PC I purchased that 3 other reps asked if I needed assistance? Did I mention the store was crowded? Did I mention the guy at the register kept me laughing? 🤔Wait, the bathroom was clean as a whistle 😙...(I have public restroom phobia 🤯) My office is in Southfield, BB is 3 minutes away. I will be traveling here from now on for all my electronic needs. The extra miles matches the extra mile they go to satisfy a customer! I promise once I find my sales rep business card, I will update this post to give him his props!! I told him I would ask for him every time I shop here. I give you guys 10 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Micro center is a good place to get computer parts. Theyre usually well stocked in things such as heat sinks cables cords etc. Only problem is with microcenter is a long lines they usually have even pre-pandemic. Oftentimes as well theres some sales staff is not as knowledgeable as they could be. However, considering all of the thousands and thousands of parts they have, it should not be expected that employees know every little part thats in the place, and how it works biggest complaint is the weight to be checked out. Otherwise this is a place to go to for your computer needs especially if you are a DYI kind of person

Simply put: this is hands down the best place to purchase computer parts, software, peripherals, & most general electronics. Many online forums & places like Reddit will suggest the first question you should ask yourself after considering a computer related purchase should be is there a Micro Center nearby?, & for good reason. The staff is crazy knowledgeable & always provide an enjoyable, entertaining experience. Their prices almost always match or beat their online competitors (they may price-match, too. Dont quote me though). Ive been shopping there since my first PC build in 2015 & dont regret a single one of the nearly dozen 2-hour trips Ive taken. You truly cant go wrong at Micro Center!

I love walking around the store and looking at tech gear, but their prices on certain items are nonsense. For instance; why is Microcenter charging 2k for a 3080ti GPU that is worth much less? Everything from cases to AIO coolers seem to have a pretty big markup. They will price match if you ask, but last time I did that the manager made it seem like I was a pest and it was a big deal. Half of the staff seem like they are always too busy to help you, and the other are trying to look busy while not helping you. At least the cashiers are typically very nice.Im done driving a long distance to this location - Ill just shop online from now on.

Our visit was very helpful. Things that I couldnt fine was pointed out for me and apps were reloaded that I had no idea could done. The guy that serviced us was very patient to us older folks. Took his time to make it clear for us. He was also was very kind with his words to let us know that it was his job to care about us by doing a good job.

None of the chip readers were working which physically locked me out of my cards. Absolutely embarrassing for a place that constantly sells high ticket items.

I’ve been going here for a while for computer parts and graphics cards. The people here are really nice and they will help you the best way they can. But I recently took in all my parts for a mining rig, they assembled it, then said they couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t running and couldn’t tell me why that was. I was told that this could be finished and this ordeal took over a week to deal with. I just wish they could’ve figured out what went wrong but my time was just wasted. Do not advertise and tell your customer you can do it if you simply just can’t.

I absolutely hate writing negative reviews however this store is a joke, i have tried to reach this location multiple times a day and can never get through. Tech team is unresponsive and incapable of using common sense to solve an issue. I have been to many Microcenters around the country and this is by far the worst one i have ever encountered.

We entered the busy Micro Center in Madison Heights, MI, we were greeted by a friendly team member who inquired if we would like assistance. I shared what computer purchase we intended to make. He walked us to the laptop area. My anxiety didnt even have time to chime in because he asked another team member if he was available to support us! The team member was David H. David was attentive, quick with finding details, exhibited excellent listening skills and was knowledgeable. I explained what our needs for the computer were. Then David actually went online and looked up additional information to show us that the college we will be attending had free access to one of the programs we needed. Because David went out of his way to provide us with free program information, we were able to make an additional unplanned purchase as we were left with money in our budget! (Win/win!) David then walked away to secure our computer. As we were happily waiting for the next step of the buying process we were greeted by Joel K. a manager. Joel approached us to ensure we were satisfied/thanked us and asked if there was any additional services he could provide! We had small talk and alerted him about how helpful David was for us. David then returned and walked us to a long line to make our purchase. The line flew by in less than 3 minutes as there were multiple teammates assisting all the customers! (This Micro Center may be in part to blame on local staffing shortages- all the good employees are staffing this location!) Something is going right at this location- management/company culture - Im not sure. All of the employees were dressed professionally in the store, appeared content in their roles and happy to help. This was our first experience at a Micro Center and we will definitely drive out of our way again for supplies in the future. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

The sales staff in the computer section were not helpful. They ignored me for the most part. If I hadnt needed a computer immediately I would have left. The staff in the rest of the store were helpful and pleasant to interact with. They are the only reason I would ever go back there.

Solid prices on computers/parts/pretty much anything electronic. Sales staff is always super friendly and know their stuff. Excellent customer service. They also offer a first responder discount, which is cost +5% on anything. That alone earns my business for the foreseeable future

Whatever you need that is computer-related, Micro Center has it. The prices are fair and they have always had what I needed in stock. The only exception right now is GPUs, but that is due to a global shortage amid unprecedented demand, certainly not Micro Centers fault. Their employees are always very helpful. When I built a desktop PC for the first time, they helped me pick out a lot of compatible, affordable, and powerful pieces.

Really like that they have lots of staff on the floor ready to answers any and all questions. The average public citizen is no longer completely tech ignorant, we still need some help, but we know enough to not be talked down to anymore so its good for our egos and their bottom line to keep informative but not overbearing staff floating around and they do!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff. They they have a lot of potential with some of the nitch stuff like raspberry pi, 3D printers and maybe CNC that they could capitalize on and those areas seem to need attention as far as organization but all in all good stuff

Best computer store ever mixed with the most devious, lying salesman. This place gets worse every year unusual employees and policies. They will not last but was glorious when it opened.

They have a pretty big selection (although right now very low on GPUs) the employees are extremely helpful and know what they are talking about. (But keep in mind they put their tag on an item they help you find to earn a commission so take suggestions with a bit of a grain of salt.)
