The day after this call I received a phone call from a woman who also worked for ADT, and to the response I got below from ADT; you can’t make it right “is your plan to offer me a discount for my trouble”? You want me to give you my email so the solicitation can continue through it? If I was interested in a security system or company I will contact them as most people do! Fix this by informing your employee to cross check phone numbers to the do not call list and follow the rules!We recently purchased a home in the Orlando area and today I received a Solicitation text from Ivan who gave his cell phone number in the text. I called to see how he got my private cell phone number and he stated they receive a list of new home buyers and from this list he got my number. I asked him if he checked the National Do Not Call list before he calls/texts the numbers and he repeated how they receive the list and they start calling (again attempted to start his sell speech) so I ask him “so you’re a Security Company who is breaking the law by soliciting business by texting phone numbers that are on the Do Not Call List? I have no interest in working with a company that has no regard for a persons choice to not have solicitors contact them on their private cell phones, and I am so disappointed that solicitors do this without any Consequences..... the do not call list is a joke, it doesn’t prevent the calls/text!

When you get on the phone to inquire about services provided they tell you that the tech that comes to the house can answer all questions. That’s how they get in your door. Would do adequate research on your own before having one of their agents come to your home because THEY HARD SELL YOU. Was told that there wouldn’t be any upfront charges given the times and then was quoted $5,000. Definitely had to pay up front. I started to feel uncomfortable when I turned down their services and crazy prices and he didn’t take no for an answer. Contract states that they can raise the monthly price whenever they want. Doesn’t do anything to lower cost for renters insurance. I can’t complain about the protection, no ones tried invading. Just can’t help but feeling like I got strong armed.

These people are trash DONT SIGN THE CONTRACT!!! They will install a system it will quit working and they will charge you to fix it...thats called a scam GO WITH RING!!!

We are new homeowners and wanted to get the best security system for our home. Our technician/Installer Cortez was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and did so in a timely manner. Very pleased, and glad that we have a safe home!

Do not go through what I sis. Find out another security company, or a better ADT representative.Pay attention at the numbers, as this company is not completely honest with price, discount, payments, and special offers. I would not say it is a scam, but Protect Your Home does not have decent work practices. The contract is very shady, and confuses everyone, except Protect Your home. Now I have a big bill to pay. Please, for your own sake, do not go with this company.This company has an amazing service when tries to sell things. The rep who came to install was very friendly, and told me that ADT does not work with wire window sensors anymore, and installed a wireless special sensor. A few weeks later I found out that ADT does have wire sensors, and half of them were included on my package. I tried to fight this, but it ended up being he said/ she said, and I did not receive any help. Even when I said that I did have wire sensors, and the rep took all of them out.I was not very smart in this process, so I am writing so you can avoid that. This company has tins of BBB complaints and bad yelp reviews. Definitely for a good reason.

I have had problems with ADT for months and they have not fixed it yet. The keypad continues to malfunction, waking me and my kids in the middle of the night. They have sent multiple technicians out and the problems has not been fixed. I have spoken to multiple account managers and they have given poor costumer service. I have lost many many hours of sleep dealing with this issue and all they care about is getting paid for the rest of their contract. I have had ADT for over 10 years in multiple locations paying them on time every month. However, they are treating me like I havent been a loyal customer to them. I am truly disappointed with their service and will not ever use them again. Their follow up is terrible. I dont know how many times I have to call. They tell me they are going to call back and no one ever does.

Satisfied Customer! I was pleased with the technician . He explained the options I had and the use of the equipment very well. There was an issue with the windows that was promptly remedied and I do feel secure with my choices.

I nearly fell for this companys trap. The negative reviews on this page are alarming. And from my experience all could very well be true. I too hired them to install the $850 ADT load. They made an installation appointment and didnt show even though I had confirmed the day before. I called to find out what happened and they put me on hold for half an hour while they hustled to get their tech on site. I fired him on the spot and told him to leave. He refused to leave. I tried to explain to his manager on the phone that time is very critical when it comes to a security service, but the he refused to cooperate in anyway. I had to call the police to escort their trespassing tech off of my property. Think of the irony; ADTs home security tech was removed from my property for trespassing.

Feeling safe The installer Jacob was very sweet, customer service nice also when I needed to call them with a question. Thankfully no alarm calls, but I have great peace of mind and sleep better knowing I am protected.

Enrique came over later afternoon, on short notice, to install a new security system for a home my wife and I recently purchased. He was very nice and extremely knowledgeable and installed an effective system within our budget constraints.

What a disaster also -- they heavily market their link with ADT, but this is a standalone company.They also market their free ($850 value) alarm system if you pay install fee and sign up for monitoringAs of no surprise, even though I had an alarm system at the home i moved into, tech came in and said I need to spend well over the $ 850 for basic protection.After being very aggressive, he finally lamented that he would look bad to his supervisor if I didnt but something above the free install package - so I broke down and bought a couple hundred worth of I think another smoke alarmInstall went quickly and tech seemed very confidentNext 4 weeks was a nightmare, alarms kept going off repeatedly - twice late at night while we were out of town ( which is very stressful)New tech came out and said keypads were coded wrong, and said his fix should do itFalse alarms continued, another tech said it was a shock pad on one of the windows and replacedLong terrible story short, we finally called ADT parent, they sent two very professional techs who were amused at install that had been done - (motion sensors were pointing at each other which was causing most of the alarms, zones set up wrong on key pad- several of the windows they said were activiated had no coverage, smoke alarms were in wrong place,,,, on and on).They fixed the whole system for free and put things where they belonged and I havent had a false alarm since - well done!!Avoid this company at all costs!! Call ADT direct and get trained pros to do this important work.

Signed up with the dealer who stated there was no contract as there is already equipment in the home. 6 months later while I am moving out found there to be a contract and the cancellation fees are rediculous.I also found the sales agent that came to the house falsified crime records in the area to make the sale of ADTNEVER use ADT. This has been a giant waste of time and waste of money.
