Awesome CS as per usual. Went in to let my 5 year old do her free donut grab. She wanted a Sprite and I only had a card because I didnt realize they didnt accept cards. I told her we would stop at the gas station and get a drink on the way to school. Well, we didnt have to make that stop. They gave her the Sprite along with her full bag of donuts, free of charge. We love this place and my daughters truly enjoy getting to fill their own bag of donuts every year on their birthday. Everyone is always incredibly friendly and they go out of their way to make the kids feel super special on their birthday!

This place may have been good but Im sure they lose an ideal amount of business with their cash or check method of payment. Definitely lost mine. I went elsewhere with my card and spent more than I planned to spend there.

Great place, they can do custom donuts, if you are into that, but otherwise they have a very large selection. Everything from giant cinnamon rolls to powered lemon-jelly filled donuts! This place has ample seating, and very kind staff! Easy to access from the road, and yes, it has a drive through!CHOCO MILK!

Great small local business that has been serving Mandeville the best donuts ever! Its the only donut joint that I will go to. My only complaint is that they close at noon, so you must get there early! Also bring cash because they dont accept card.

Definitely the King of doughnuts! Old school doughnut guy. Better than any doughnuts where we live. The service was outstanding beyond measure. Honey buns the size of my head at least 22 you can see from the parking lot.

Businesses that rely on repeat customers should take care to do one of several things right. Location: these guys have that down. Theres nowhere else to go. Customer service: These guys need work because their counter staff is rude on a friendly day. Convenience: As a business owner, I hate credit card fees but its the 21st century, just take credit cards, pay the fees and move on. Heres a hint: Id buy more if you took credit cards.

Been here a few times and wont be back again. The service has always been horrible. Been there three times and each time the employees treat you like having a customer is an inconvenience. Beyond that the doughnuts are mediocre at best, and the fact that they dont take cards is inconvenient. The Mandeville bake shop is about 2 minutes away from here so do yourself a favor and go there instead.

My family and I love Donut King. The doughnuts are great(my fav is the apple fritter, one son loves the milk drop). Mr. Keith is always so kind. I brought my boys one morning and one spilt his chocolate milk all over. Mr. Keith couldnt have been nicer about it. They always treat my kids on their birthdays which guarantees my business. When we want doughnuts, Donut King is the only place we go.

I usually dont write reviews, and am a pretty laid back person, but I felt the service I received here justified a review.I’ve visited Donut King twice, and both times felt disappointed by the owner. The first time he was yelling at a young teenage worker behind the counter accusing him of stealing cash. He was being extremely rude and aggressive toward this child, all the while the kid was trying to calmly serve customers since the owner was making a huge disruption.The second time the owner was rude to me. He insisted I said I wanted a dozen donuts so he put them in a box. At checkout he got frustrated with me because he misunderstood I only wanted a couple of donuts, but he used a box to put them in. At the end of checkout he looked away and threw my change on the counter not saying another word.I agree the donuts are great, but I will never be back and support an owner who is both rude and aggressive toward his young workers and customers. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who noticed this, as another google review user said the same thing.

EDIT:WOW. So I have to say, I had been coming here for some time to get donuts and am almost embarrassed to say so. On my last visit, a large older gentleman who identified himself as the owner was very rude and condescending to a couple of the kids that were working behind the counter about an issue in the drive through part. It was very “off putting” as kids shouldn’t be spoken to like that. He ended their conversation with “go help that guy” motioning towards me. While I wasn’t happy about it, I purchased donuts and, as almost always, went to drop a couple of dollars in the tip jar. The kid that helped me said “don’t do that, he (owner) just takes it all and puts it in the register anyway”. Never again will I visit this place, not because of the food or staff but because of the greed of the owner himself. I’m headed to Krummels and I suggest you do the same.ORIGINAL:The donut buying experience was FANTASTIC! I went there with my son on Sunday the 30th. There was a young man working the counter with a few ladies. He served us and was hands down the most professional person I had ever met working at a donut shop. The level of his service is what prompted me to write this review for you. I will be coming back because of him. The only item I find odd is the fact that you dont take credit cards. The fees are miniscule in comparison to the increase in ticket average that you will see. Its 100% proven that people spend more money when using credit cards over cash. Might be a penny smart, dollar foolish move on this.

I dont eat donuts but when my company has meetings this is where we go. These are the average run of the mill donuts and nothing like what you find in places like New York.

The staff could be rude sometimes, the inside usually feels a little cramped, and I hate how I can’t just hand over a dollar for a donut (price increased to just over a dollar for the donuts I usually get xd) now, but mhmm still love coming here for a little treat to start off the day :)
