Great store. Great variety of things. Great location. One of my favorite store in Manhattan. When I go there, cashiers check were very smoothly as well. So convenient! Ive never had an issues when I visited the store. Vegetables and fruits section is always clean and looks great. So many variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. I like their fresh seafoods counter. I could get fresh salmon and shrimps. They keep sanitizing every shelves and inside the store. Also, most employees were super friendly and helpful! I recommend this store.

It wasn’t bad. The workers were friendly and the store was clean. The parking lot is a little funny to get in and out of and the prices were reasonable. There is a decent selection of brands and such. I would be glad to go back.

We primarily go here to get custom made birthday cakes from their bakery and we have never been disappointed. The bakery staff is so friendly and professional and they do an amazing job. From 3D dragons, to tractors, barns, geoids, and cars they have never failed to come through with an amazing cake for us and they are well worth the price.

This will be the LAST time we EVER step foot in the Hy-Vee restaurant! Horrible service and there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION! It took our “waitress” forever to get our order and had to stop her to tell her what we wanted to drink. After taking our order, we sat for over an hour. All while multiple tables got tired of waiting and got up and walked out. But my husband and I stayed. After about another 15 minutes, the bar tender (I’m assuming since she was dressed differently in all black) came up and said she’d check on our order. She came right out and said 5 minutes. We sat for another 10-15minutes. Still NO FOOD! During our wait, we did get a cinnamon roll, from another waitress that wasn’t great, but it was a thought. After a little, our “waitress” tried bringing another one. We kindly refused. We sat a little longer and over heard the bar tender come out of the kitchen and say that there was a lot of food sitting in the window ready to go out. Hoping it may be ours, we waited. We STILL didn’t get food after another 5 minutes!!!! We didn’t bother staying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going to eat there UNLESS you have a lot of time!

We dont have Hy-Vee where Im from. Just moved to Kansas and this has become my favorite supermarket fairly quickly. Reasonable prices and good deals. They have everything you can want, especially things I couldnt find when I went to Dillons on my first supermarket trip here. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.Im a fan :)

Top notch service! I went there today and wanted to purchase a specific popcorn and they only had a few bags on the shelf. Instead of not being truthful, they went in the back and located what I wanted and fulfilled my order! Thank you guys for the great service!

The best deli in town. However, the last three times I have been there there has only been one person working the front of the deli. the people that were waiting were probably 6-7. And the guy left to go make gravy for one of the meals in back and left all of us standing there looking at each other.

Nice variety of products in the Manhattan area. If I had to compare to a known establishment it would compared to HEB.

Very few people were wearing masks including employees. Person who helped me at the meat counter did not say thank you nor did the check out person after she took my $125. They only said youre welcome when I said thank you.

I come to this store twice a week the past two weeks the deli has been getting worse and worse the food is either over cooked or been sitting all day not being replaced the customer service is even worse. The rest of the store is nice but I believe Ill go to Walmart for the deli

Was always my favorite grocery store while living in Kansas.Very clean!I wish we had Hy-Vees on the east coast!!!

Have upgraded the breakfast menu and shrank other foods. Odd for a bar/restaurant. Has NFL Sunday ticket but does nothing to promote it, no specials to draw in a crowd. Mgmt seems ok to not have a destination for football, guess they prefer guests go to BWW.

Everyone there seems to have a constant concern for a commitment to excellence customer satisfaction generally just a happy place.

Everytime I’ve gone into Hy-Vee to shop for doordash they never have anything you need in stock. No this is not just a one time thing. Ever single time I’ve gone in they either didn’t have an item my customer needed in stock or they discontinued it. Dillons is the place to shop.

Absolutely love Hy-Vee. Meats selection is great quality is outstanding. We drive 2 hours just to shop there. Wish Hy-Vee would come closer to the Wichita area.

I personally hate hy vee, but the wife talked me into going again, and she regretted it almost immediately, first off the butcher called her a b****, simply because she chose not to get the meat he got out of the case because it was brown and old, then at the checkout the bag person put all of her sushi upside-down and completely destroyed it, he put all the soft stuff like chips and bread on the bottom of all the heavy stuff, the cashier practically threw a 2 liter of soda, so yea not very pleased at all, worst place to shop in my opinion... oh and the prices lol, the prices are 3 to 4 times higher than Dillions or Wal-Mart...

Good selection for a large store. The non-Food section is larger than I would like it to be, and it has more of a general/dollar store feel in that area compared to Dillon‘s across the highway. But for speciality foods, like character energy drinks, health foods and Italian tomato sauce this is the place to go. Their produce is worse than Dillon‘s.

If this place is not your store of choice then make this your grocery store of choice. Nothing but great things from here. Hy-vee was my go to the whole stay I was in the area and now miss it because I moved from there 😭.

The meats were turning and smelled so terrible labor day weekend. I was horrified seeing people grabbing them to eat. Not the fresh selection I had invisioned from this store.

I just love shopping at Hyvee! It is such a fun and friendly place and such friendly atmosphere! The employees are so friendly and will take the time out to answer any of your questions and also try to make sure that your needs are being met when it comes to the right foods or other items in the store! There produce and meat sections always have the freshest food items, and they also have a large selection of ice cream. And not to mention, their gluten free section is wonderful! Wouldnt want to shop at any other store! Hyvee is the Best!!

Here is the funny thing, Hy-Vee Market Grill got by far the best wings in Manhattan. The bone-in wings are big and got more meat than the bone on them, unlike in any other place in town. The boneless wings are also larger on average and with less breading. The sauces are good. In general, Market Grill food is as good as most restaurants in town if not better. You can also hang out and eat in, there is a nice outdoor area, wifi is good.Bakery is pretty good, it is not excellent, but it is the best in town among grocery stores. Look out for sales on baked goods, there are great deals occasionally.The prices on food are higher than other grocery stores on average, however, nobody can beat Hy-Vee sales. You will get the best deal on soda and snacks in town. The meats are of higher quality in comparison to Walmart. You can also accumulate lots of gas saver points during sale events, which even does offset the higher gas prices at Hy-Vee gas station. Also, Hy-Vee has many food items other stores simply do not stock.Make sure the check expiration dates, especially on health section items and dairy. Sadly, the stocking staff does not do the best job of rotating the stock.If you are shopping for produce a lot, you are better off anywhere else.Always check your receipt when shopping during sales, the deals may not go through at checkout, but are always honored by the management at customer service.While you are there, you may as well drop off your USPS packages, because it will take 1/10 of the time in comparison to the local Post Office.

Such a clean place. And has a separate outdoor stand for grocery pick up. The whole store itself is very bright and clean and although its a little pricier than places in Junction City especially Walmart marketplace it has more to offer and the butcher is awesome.

The only good thing about this place is they occasionally have lower prices than the other retailers in town. The produce is sub-par and is often past its prime. The store layout is dreadful. You have similar items spread to different sections around the store. One example, Boom-Chicka-Pop popcorn. You will find some of the flavors in the chip aisle and others in the health section. Frozen vegetable, there is a section of BirdsEye, then a section of PictSweet, followed by another section of BirdsEye. If you need help finding something, good luck. There is never anyone on the floor to assist customers. Instead, many seem quite intent on standing around chatting. If you are fortunate enough to catch one of the elusive employees, there is a very good chance that even they dont know where the item you are looking for is. I sat and waited for 10 minutes for a MANAGER to figure out that an item was out of stock as he didnt even know where it was supposed to be. Save yourself a headache, Dillons is right across the street and they have their act together.Edit: Had to come nackfor an order and lines are down the aisles.....2 registers open.

Best place for healthy comfort food. Try their ham salad. Its great with organic or flax crackers.

Their average normal price is a little high but when something is on sale, it is usually a steal. Their produce is always very fresh.

Placed an order with bakery for my daughters birthday to take to her class. They were awesome on the phone and very accommodating. The order came out way above my expectations and was ready before my scheduled pick up time. Her class loved the cake pops. However, when I was in the store I decided I wanted to get a floral arrangement and ballon. I did not see somthing suitable for my daughter so I stopped to ask the florist about a different arrangement. She seemed irritable and annoyed that I interupted her. She did not offer any suggestions on being able to accommodate, instead referred me back to the cooler of already made arrangements. I have never had this type of treatment at Hyvee, everyone has always gone above and beyond.

Hy-Vee is okay but I think they are more pricey than Dillons. But I do like their fresh meat counter and you can pick and choose whatever you want and how much you want. But Dillons has that fresh meat counter as well and their meat is a little bit cheaper. So we do not shoo at Hy-Vee very often.

I love going to get Chinese food here. They have a student discount and its a great deal.

The employees are pleasent, social, and helpful. The queues are quick and the managers open new lanes promptly when theres a need.And its not Walmart.

The store has a great selection of products, and is kept clean and orderly. However, I always berry 5he impression that the prices on products are noticeably higher at Hy-Vee than they are at other local grocery stores. Frankly, I only go to Hy-Vee in order to find certain products that only they have. I never quite understand why anyone would do the majority of their grocery shopping at the store.

Hy-vee has most items other stores in Kansas dont have. Great selection of vegan and lactose free items, also a large selection of specialty items to choose from.

Has pretty much everything youll need for all diets/religious observances.

The Hy-Vee Florist Department arranged the flowers for my wedding. They were absolutely stunning and exactly how I wanted them. Good quality flowers for a good price!

We usually love Hyvee produce. Lately we have been having issues. We order groceries online for pick up. I picked up groceries 8/16/2020. On 8/18/2020 I went to cut up the cantaloupe and it is full of mold on the outside!!! Apples are browning already. Had to throw half the bag of vegetables away as well due to being brown. Defiantly not happy.
