My experiences at Slumberland Furniture in Maplewood have been exceptional. Heidi has been my salesgo-to person for all of the furniture I’ve purchased recently. She is outstanding in not only her knowledge of the items of furniture, she has a very welcoming personality and makes this type of shopping seamless.

I walked in and was greeted by a young man. I told him I was just looking and he gave his name if I needed assistance. I took my time looking atAnd sitting in various LR chairs. Heidi approached me asking if anyone was assisting me - I gave his name and she called for him over store microphone. After 10-15 min he was a no show and I requested Heidi’s assistance. She was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful all while helping 3 other customers. Approx 45 min later I told Heidi I was readyTo place my order when The young man appeared and said he heard I was looking for him. I requested to continue with Heidi who helped me complete my order. She was most helpful and I appreciated working with someone a bit more seasoned in the industry.

We were greeted by Pete almost immediately. He was so helpful. Told him my needs for my small home, and he knew just what I was talking about and where to look. Now, I just need to wait. Until it is delivered to see the results.

Wife and I arrived and were immediately and professionally greeted by Sales Consultant Heidi Overfrank.We quickly and clearly explained exactly what we were looking for. Within 5 minutes Heidi narrowed down the options and within 30 minutes, we purchased a mattress, mattress cover, signed out and set up a delivery date!Smooth as silk! Our sales rep was very accommodating and let us take our time while we shopped for a bed. We found what we liked and are now awaiting the arrival of our new bed.

First off I would like to thank Heidi for being so patient with my husband and I today! My husband and I just moved from Canada and got ourselves an apartment with no furniture so we looked around the area and went to Ashley’s first which is across the street. Ashley’s customer services was poor, we were not greeted nor acknowledged our presence along with another couple who was there. When we walked in Slumberland it was definitely 180! Heidi greeted us right away, let us know where the sectionals were and came to check in on us the whole time! She gave us options to customize and let us know ahead of time how long it would take the receive the couch. She also made the financial part fast and easy! She has a very inviting customer service! I would definitely come back to purchase more furniture from here when we buy a home in the next 1-2 years from now!

I would have given five stars but nobody came to help us until I telephoned the front of the store despite the fact there was a salesman 10 feet away from us helping another customer.Brandon was cheerful, responsive, quick, polite, and helped us figure out how to get the same fabric on two different recliner models, no mean feat.Ask for Brandon and you wont be disappointed. He is definitely 5 stars!

Terrible service. Ignored me as I walked around checking out loveseats. Only 1 staff acknowledged me as he walked past me speaking to 2 other staff. Towards the end of my visit around 5 staff, all male, clustered around desk having a conversation. I finally left and will not be returning. Spend your money where the business appreciates all customers. I will discourge friends and family from going to this store. Do better.

GO SEE PETE!! Pete had the best customer service I’ve ever had BY FAR. We looked at everything from couches to mattresses to kitchen table and Pete was so helpful through the entire process. We were pleased with the varied selections available in the store. We had shopped elsewhere earlier and found nothing that caught our eye. The sale price was also appreciated. Heidi was the perfect salesperson - very pleasant, knowledgeable, but not pushy!

The store is well lit and organized in a way that makes it easy to get around. It would help if they were a little more consistent about keeping all bedroom furniture in one area and everything else in another, but for the most part it was easy to figure out. We’ve encountered pushy salespeople there in the past, so I was pleased that they took a hint when I told them we were fine on our own. The salesperson we did approach eventually was helpful, looking up additional styles in the collection we liked and showing us all of our options. He calculated the additional discount at our request and there were no hidden fees. Overall a very easygoing and successful experience!

I made a purchase at the Maplewood MN, location - Nice store....lots of beautifully displayed furnishings. Very friemdly & helpful salesperson (Alan Bahr) set up a home delivery this week.

Rick Jorgenson did an excellent job of helping us pick out a king size mattress with a head board and foot board. We also picked out a dual adjustable base. He was very knowledgeable and explained our options very clearly. We were very impressed with Rick as well as the selection his store provided.

Blake was very helpful. I came into Sumberland looking not for furniture but for a bedding set of a certain color and he was excellent in listening to my color choice and pattern choice. He went right to work looking for what I was looking for. I realize it was an unusual request to be shopping for bedding and he treated me with the same care and service as if I was buying a top of the line bedroom set. After finding a bedding set I described; I was a little bummed because they did not carry it in king. (I like my comforters a size larger for stealing purposes 😂) I ended up buying the queen and I got an amazing deal on it too. I went in the other day with the absolute goal of buying a couch but the expectation that I would settle for a couch that wasnt of the best quality and cheap in price. I was helped immediately and shown couches that were of the quality I truly desired with power seating, soft deep cushions etc. I couldnt believe these couches were in my price limit and they even took another 20% off the already slashed price. I was approved for 5 years zero percent interest and obtained a warranty on my couch that will be put back onto my account if I do not use it. I couldnt have been treated more fairly as a customer. I know due to covid the delivery times are long but its worth the wait. I will count the weeks until my beautiful couch arrives. Cant wait. Thanks slumberland.

My sales person Heidi was very prompt as I walked in the door and couldn’t wait to help me. Heidi provided useful information on the product I came to purchase. Again she is a perfect example of why I come to slumberland. Before coming at this location another furniture store across the street had posted a big mattress sale. Over there I got no assistance and when I walked up to a sales person he told me me I had to wait 30 mins before I could see him. I told him he just lost a sale and walked out the door.

We ordered a sofa before Halloween 2020 and were suppose to get it along with a bed set and two recliners. They said within about two weeks. Well we never got the sofa for Thanksgiving or Christmas and we are still waiting for it. We got rid of our old couch because we were told everything would be delivered together and have been pretty patient. I called there and was talking to someone other than our sales person, he was trying to help but I heard our sales women in the back ground yelling at him and telling him not to talk to us and she would call us back. She said the sofa would be here on the 17th of January. Today is that day and no sofa HELP!.

Rick at the Maplewood location is absolutely the best. Not only is he friendly and super knowledgeable but he is a customer service extraordinaire. From the first time we shopped there, he remembered us, and not just our faces, he remembered details. Like the fact that we were preparing for our wedding and buying our first home, he remembered where we were from, he knew our names (without looking them up) and he even remembered our favorite football team. Now when we are in the market for any kind of furniture, we dont even shop around. Slumberland in Maplewood is our only destination, not because they have the only furniture in town, but because they have the very BEST salesman in town. My son and I went in to look at kitchen tables and we found a dark stained table with 4 padded chairs for under $800. Rick was very attentive and yet he gave us space to look around. We were very pleased with our visit.

I went to slumberland to look at mattresses.I talked to Blake, a very knowledgeable person.I was pleased with my experience.They have a lifetime customer now.

I paid for furniture at this store back in July and was informed it would be shipped and delivered through a store closer to where I live. After several months of waiting for the paid furniture to arrive some of my items where delivered on 10/29/2020 (the table set I order won’t be in until 2/2021). As you will see by the photos the sectional I ordered came pretty severely damaged with multiple rips 1-3 inches long and 5 out of the 6 pieces have structural damage (broken framework and or mechanical issues). The delivery personal had total disregard of the damage as they were assembling furniture and were about to leave our house without saying anything about it, luckily I arrived home to inspect the furniture before they left. I contacted the store that delivered the furniture the next day to make the aware of the damage. At that time they said they would reorder the sections of the couch that had damage and 2 drawers but it would take several months for the new sections to come in and that we could use the couch as is until the replacement sections came in. Than this week we received an email from Mary stating that since more than 50% of the furniture was damaged that we needed to do a full return and reorder the whole couch and that they were going to come pick up the damaged one. I was a little confused because I was under the impression that the replacement sections had already been reordered only to find out they hadn’t been at this point and that all they did was order supplies to fix the damage of the existing couch (which has several sections with broken framework). I than reached out to the Maplewood MN location because that is who I purchased the furniture from and took my money to see if they could assist me in getting my furniture replaced. Unfortunately the manager Rick was not helpful and referred us to a customer service lady named Cheryl. Spoke with Cheryl in great detail and sent her pictures of the damage. Her response suggested that I just return all the furniture that I just waited months to receive, do a full refund and reorder from a different store thus having to wait several more months and not have a couch or table or bedroom set for my children to use. She also express that it is not possible to receive furniture with out some flaws (which if you could see the damage this is more the a stitching flaw). I must say I am beyond disappointed in the Slumberland company, they lack professionalism, and have disgraceful morals and ethical views that are a disservice to a paying customer. They’ll be all friendly and helpful to get the sale, but than leave their paid customers to fend for themselves. I recently lost all my furniture due to water damage and had to replace every piece of furniture in my house. I bought furniture at several different stores such as Coleman’s, Ashley, Dock 86, Home furniture and Slumberland. Of all the places I purchased furniture from over the last several months Slumberland is the only company I have even remotely had an issue with and I regret handing my hard working money over to them, wasting so much time on a company that doesn’t back up the products they sell or look out for their paid customers.

We were given prices of multiple beds and sizes. We were able to pick out from a variety of beds and try them out. We were given space to look at what we wanted and enjoyed not being followed around. The lady who helped us was kind and friendly. She helped us in getting financing and very knowledgeable about everything we had questions about. Very Satisfied with our experience.

In general, my experiences at Slumberland has varied from store to store. This weekend, I stopped at the Maplewood Mall location in Minnesota, which is far away from home. The sales floor staff were attentive and quick to help. I was looking for a lamp - the attendant quickly went online, searched for it, I paid, and three days later it was at my door, with photos by text message to show me where they had placed it (following my instructions at the time of purchase). Generally very satisfied by the service I get from Slumberland, and shout out to the Maplewood store staff!

Great service! Have purchased several slumberland products in the past and have always been pleased with quality and performance. I expect the same to be true with this new rocker/recliner we purchased today.
