TC GRANITE WILL NOT STAND BY YOUR WORK. YOU TAKE THE RISK MOVING FORWARD.Ive only giving 2 stars because I DO want to give the person in Maplewood showroom all the credit. She was wonderful helping us selecting a countertop. Beyond that, I wont waste your time. I could write a long message. If you have problems with install or quality, good luck getting any help beyond that. Customer service is dead with this company. The countertop was not cut to match our wall. Our opening was square, trust me I can show you, I tiled it. Team didnt seal the undermount sink to countertop. They left an absolute mess butchering my vanity with a sawzall. Jenny told me it was their favor. They probably were in a hurry. I told her I never asked. Also, in their packet that they provide says right in one of items, they wont wipe down counters but will vacuum up their mess. When a company tells you that their team was probably in a hurry, thats why something wasnt done, is beyond terrible. Mark was supposed to call, but Im still waiting a week and half later. Reading other comments, hes holed up somewhere and doesnt really care about their customers, just padding his pocket. If you are looking to get screwed and not cared about, THIS is your company.

Be aware, no customer service. Measured wrong twice. They state they do not take 2nd half of payment until job completed. No, they took my money a full month before completion, left glue everywhere and suddenly Erin just seems to disappear. Proceed at your own risk!

We are so happy with the entire process - from making our selection in store, to measuring, to install. The counters are beautiful! We highly recommend TC Granite and will be sharing our experience with our friends and family!

I just had kitchen counter tops installed and Im very happy I went with TC Granite.The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that it was harder to get into the store to return the samples and decide which granite I wanted because of a temporary staffing situation.There was also a pretty major hiccup on install day that almost delayed the install and would have left me without a working sink for a week, but Mark made it work and we had our counter tops installed the same day as expected.The installers were AMAZING; professional, courteous, and the seam is 99% invisible on a very contrasted type of granite. The slab finishing is great - including the one inch that sticks out next to my cabinets.I am a very satisfied customer, and I will return to them for future projects.

TC Granite in Maplewood was so accommodating when our cabinet maker was a little late installing the cabinets. The measuring was done and the countertops installed on time. The installers did a beautiful job and we are VERY happy with the results. Thank you Erin and all the staff of TC Discount Granite.

I went to three different stores and fortunately I met a representative at Twin City Discount Granite in Maplewood. Her name is Erin Iverson, she took the time to listen to my needs and then helped me pick out what would work for my budget. She is the reason I decided on this store. Pricing was very competitive, service was far above the other two places I visited. I would recommend asking for Erin if your looking for great service.

I had a great experience with TC Granite from start to finish. Erin, the sales person was great to work with. She is very friendly as well as informative. Its sad to see so many 1 star reviews. I was talking to a buddy today that I had decided to call and schedule an appointment with this company as Ive seen them advertised on Twin Cities live. However with so many 1 star reviews, it proves there is a trend. Why do companies not realize that social media buzz and reputation is soooo important these days. Obviously not something that this company values, otherwise they wouldnt have told the one customer to go get a gallon of paint thinner and do it herself. Seriously, what type of customer service is that?

Their granite is great. I cant say with much certainty if the product here is better or worse than at other stores, but their service was accommodating and quick. Everyone from the salespeople and the installers were very helpful and friendly.I would highly recommend this place.

The countertop is beautiful, and the staff in the store and installers were fantastic. However, I ordered a counter for my island, which is relatively small and has a slide in stove. I was very disappointed to see they pieced together smaller sections to create the island, rather than using one whole slab. My island is not large and should not require a seam. The islands on display in their showroom are bigger than mine and do not have a seam.Very disappointing end product. I am holding out hope they will remedy the situation.

Ordered granite countertops, and love the stone selection. But! Currently trying to address issues with bad measurements and install problems; 1 piece cut wrong and redone and cut too narrow again, can feel seam-awful ridge, used white caulk on brownish slab-told installer I didn’t like the bright white and he told me it would fade-it didn’t-funny thing is that then he put clear on the other areas, and used wrong edge style on end piece. The office is not responding. They don’t even know about all the problems. My calls and emails are going unanswered. I’m about ready to tell them to come get their stone and demand a refund. I’ll start fresh with another company. I just want this finished!

We felt some doubt choosing Twin City Discount Granite because of some bad Google reviews. But the $500 or so that we saved by choosing them almost paid for the new dishwasher we put in, so our pocketbook won out! We just had our kitchen countertops installed today and I have to share that our experience from our initial shopping, to the measuring and installation all went extremely well. Everyone we talked to and worked with was knowledgeable, patient, professional and friendly. We have a lot of work left until we are actually enjoying our new countertops, but at this point, they are beautiful and looking great.

I purchased a small granite counter top for a wet bar. The selection process and installation went well. It was when I went to clean and seal the counter top that I ran into issues. There were marks on the granite from the manufacturing process. I took photos and emailed to Mark. His response was that I should purchase a gallon of paint thinner to clean the marks off. I would stay away from this company. There customer service is terrible. It took me an hour of scrubbing with paint thinner and a cloth to get the marks to fade enough to be not visible unless the counter top is wet.

After I purchased new countertops from TC Discount Granite on 2/10/16, I scheduled a time with them to pick out my granite slab. I took time off work and picked out the slab. We laid out exactly which piece would go in each section of the kitchen. We spent extra time so the lines in the granite would match up well when there was a seam between two pieces. On installation day, it took all of 5 minutes for the installers to drop a large piece of granite on my new cabinets and floor. They snapped off a door and scratched up custom made cabinets. The piece of granite cracked in half. This meant that the installation had to be rescheduled for another couple of weeks out, forcing me to take another day off work. The installers assured me that everything would come from a new slab so that the seams matched up. TC Granite did pay for the cabinetry, but it was hours of my time to coordinate this. When TC Granite came to install the granite again, it was clear that one piece was from the original slab and the other was from a new slab. The seam didnt match up at all. There were gaps and small holes along the edge of the granite that was along the wall. They assured me this was okay because the back splash would cover this up. Within four or five months of the installation, there was a large crack in the granite next to the sink. I emailed the manager, Mark, about this. His solution was to show me how to fix this with super glue. I let him know they should fix the countertops, and he said theyre not liable. After several more emails (many of which were ignored), Mark offered me a $50 credit to have it fixed by one of his guys. He gave me the guys info and said the guy preferred to be texted. I have texted this person and called several times with no response. At this point, I have no interest in working with TC DISCOUNT Granite. I would just like to make others aware that they DO NOT stand behind their work.Beware! There are much better granite companies in the Twin Cities. You get what you pay for. Mark Harms and his company do not stand behind their work or their product. If anything happens to your counters within months of the install, he will flat out tell you that you misused your countertops.To Marks response: We had our countertops installed in March of 2016 and began complaining in August of 2016 after we noticed a large crack in the granite. That would be 4 months Mark. When calls were not returned in August of 2016, I began emailing him in September of 2016 to document everything.Mark tries to spin this that we complained a year after install which is not the case. He will also try to accuse you of not knowing how to properly use a countertop if anything happens which is laughable. This company and its management are shady. They do sub par work, and theyll do nothing if anything goes wrong. Do yourself and your house a favor and stay away!

I just waited an hour to be helped and someone who just walked in was helped after waiting 5 minutes. I had to walk out without being helped because I couldnt wait any longer. They need a system for people who have been waiting. This was a very disappointing experience.
