Every so often you go into a GameStop and you just get the sense that the person is upset to deal with you and simulatenously upset you arent buying more. The store clerk tried to correct me and defend the switch pro when my boyfriend and I were talking about it.I paid for the game, and then he started asking my boyfriend if he wanted the warranty and all that. From what I could gather it was the owner of the store and he just had a surly demeanor.

They were out of stock of everything I wanted but they were so kind and professional about it that I felt like I got something back from my visit that I hadnt realized I was missing. Great job guys.

Originally just came for an XB1 controller and got lucky, but now Im thinking getting the controller was bonus.5 stars, definitely will be visiting again :)
These stores, any of them, always have the best customer service. The people that work there truly love gaming and it shows. Theyre always super helpful and can answer any questions you have about any type of game and system.

If I could give less than one star I would. This store has basically stolen $370 from me. On 12/6/20 I ordered a PSVR online and mistakenly had it shipped to this store. I live in PA. Big mistake on my part, but the second I ordered it I noticed the mistake and tried to cancel it. I called them immediately. No one answered. I tried canceling the order online with no success. In the meantime, I went to my local Game Stop and the person who works there told me that the order will be automatically canceled if I dont pick it up, no worries. Well, it turns out my order wasnt canceled. In fact on 12/12/20 I got an email saying that my order was picked up!!! I immediately called customer service and after waiting over an hour the man on the phone said that I will be refunded and I should recieve an email confirmation. I never received one or got refunded. I should mention that I called the store in Georgia every day and never got an answer. One day during my lunch break I called 8 times in a row and finally someone picked up. After explaining my story the woman who answered told me she was too busy and that shed have to take my number and call me back. She never did. I then called customer service again. They told me they are working on a solution and that theyd call me the next day. Never did. I gave them until after Christmas and then called them on 12/28/20. After speaking to 3 different people I still have no resolution. The only thing they tell me is that they cant do anything and it is up to the store that I ordered from. The problem is they wont answer their phone. Ever since Ive been calling them non stop and they will not answer. This has been the worst experience with a retail store Ive ever had. I am now out $370 and someone in Marietta Georgia has my 12 year old sons PSVR that he was supposed to get for Christmas. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I normally dont bash a store; however, this store is the worse. Let me start with the pre-order of Watch-dog Legion. I order the Gold steel book edition. The store manager (Kelly) got off at 3pm. Mind you, I pre-ordered my copy about a year before the store manager. However, the store manager had his copy before me and made we wait 2 hrs just to get my copy of the game (Oh! This is wrong on so many levels, and I know this because I have been with gamestop since it was Blue Rhino.) Fast forward about to 27 December 2020, I came in to purchase UFC 4. Now on the shelf the price reads $27.99. I got to the register and he said it is $32.99. I showed him the price of the game on the case and he said we cant do nothing about it. At this time the manager(Kelly), decided to was into the cash office to avoid the situation. This store is the worse. I have now vow to not go to Gamestop for anything. I get better service from Best Buy on there worse day than any day for Gamestop.
Terrible.…So I purchased an Xbox One Elite Series 2 on 8/19/20 and it went great... transaction went smoothly, cashier was a nice woman. I then return to the store on 8/29/20 to refund the item as it was defective. The cashier of that day, Kelly attempted to inform me (with an attitude) that i may not return the item and can only exchange it, that is until i read out loud the return policy on my proof of purchase… I’m under the impression this was a false attempt of manipulation. After the item was returned i was not informed on how or when my money would be refunded to my bank account (payed with debit). I have no clue how i will receive my money, it’s been over 56 hours and not a single dollar returned to my bank account...
Nobody answers the phone so why would I go in person not knowing whats even available

Very Unperfessional, RUDE, and LAZY!! I went in there with my husband to ask a question (about a week before COVID shut them down) 2 ladies behind the counter 1 was ringing up a guest the other one standing off to the side talking to the one ringing up the guest about a former employee that’s not longer aloud in the store (using profanity), didn’t even ask if me and my husband needed any help!!!! The other girl got done ringing up the customer so I stepped up closer to the register just to be IGNORED while they continused to talk about the former employee and what they would do if she came back into the store! Me and my husband looked at one another and began to walk away to leave and then they wanted to ask if I needed assistance!! Tuh, I told her NO and kept walking Out, I spent my money elsewhere, do not shop at this location if you don’t have to!!

This is the only GameStop I will go to, and its not even close to me as the one in Cumberland. The associates here are so great, and the store is always neat and clean. Love coming here. They always recommend great games and provide great conversation all the while providing great customer service.

I have been to several gamestop locations over the years and have come to find that this location is definitely my favorite. The service is exceptional. The employees are friendly and polite. They go above and beyond to help their customers. They are knowledgeable. if for some reason they dont know the answer to a question, they will take the necessary steps to find the answer. I travel 45 minutes to get to this store for that reason. The one close to where I live is exactly the opposite. They have what it takes to make repeat, long term customers. 👏

Poor customer service. The cashier was on the phone the entire time and then expected me to pay for my items without even giving me the chance to look at them. The only good thing was they had the cheapest price in town for what I was looking for.

They do have a great selection of games at a low price for the ps3 and ps4. Some of the games dont work and some do work. But overall Im a game head myself, great place to come to get games..

Not only is the service here good, the staff are super funny, social and friendly. This is always my go 2 GameStop. I always find what Im looking for and if they dont have it, they call other local GameStops to make sure the customer is satisfied. Highly recommend!

I have spent a lot of money in this store and it seems the customer service gets worse and worse. There are several stores around that I will go to other than this one. If the staff has to do more than take two steps they refuse to do it. I brought a phone to trade in thats listed on their website as a phone they take. The store could not figure out how to do this. Then tried saying yeah we dont take that phone because we cant get the computer to pull it up. I showed them whats on the website and they refused to honor it. The staff here are jokes and the manager as well. I will be filing a report with the corporate office about the refusal to honor advertised deals.
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I came to this store late December to buy my daugter a PS4 WITH the VR Headset as a late Christmas gift. While they were on the phone, helping a customer I patiently waited in line for my turn to be assisted and they did not once even acknowledge me. As i got in line agine, he took another customer behind me like i was transparent or something. I was upset, started to think it was because i was black, i had about $1700 on my person, started to flash counting my bills just so theyd know i was there to buy something . But they deliberately tried their best 2 not acknowledge me. Never experienced anything like this before. There was a Walmart next to the location, I push my way through the door and made my purchase their, very bad GameStop.

Worst excuse for customer service I have ever seen. Drove here from out of state to get an item I reserved with corporate. Got there and Ryan said his manager told him to close early and had already closed his registers and couldnt help me. I explained to him that I drove from out of state and that corporate had sent me and his answer was ok? Your gonna have to come back tomorrow. And was so rude to me. Had corporate call them and he tried to lie to them saying he wasnt rude and that I was lying. I have never been treated this badly by a company and this is enough to make me never shop at GameStop again. Corporate was even blown away by the treatment I received from this store.

Theres a woman who works there that bever gives me any problem shes got an amazing attitude and I get in and out with ease. But theres this one guy who works there that ALWAYS gives me problems I went a few days ago and got 18.50 store credit and for some reason when I went to check out with my purchases he put my store credit on the receipt for 14.59 okay out a couple of bucks ya know kida sucks but nothing to get completely upset over. Well he also asked me if I want to renew my power up card told me it would be 5 bucks but failed to mention that there would be an additional 15.00 charge on my purchases for magazines. So basically I went home out of about 18$ for no reason.
