Being an owner of a digital marketing company Mac is a must for our team. While we test on many machines it is the Mac we depend on for our creative design, development, etc… we have used Simply Mac since their opening in West Cobb. Their staff is knowledgeable and a great help every single time. They are our “Go-To” for all our needs.David MooreIntegrity Resource Solution
Not helpful for service, nor friendly. I was informed I would get a call after 2 days, and received no call. After 7 days I showed back up and it had been ready for pick-up. They said to check my connection and/or third party issues I was having on my physical computer (not connection related), and offered no alternative solutions or next steps if continued problems. It’s not their problem, but to call my internet provider. I plan on going to the real Apple Service Genius Bar, and not this contracted non-apple service store.
My daughter dropped her iPhone and damaged the screen. Simply Mac was able to assess the damage and repair the phone in less than a few hours. All at reasonable price. I would definitely return to their shop if I have any other issues with my Apple products.
I have purchased 4 computers from Simply Mac this past year. I also purchased the simply mac warranty on all. They have the best staff with the most knowledge. Will only buy my macs from here.
Great shop for all of your Apple needs. The team handled my Apple Watch return very smoothly. Thanks Simply Mac
These folks always have what I need and they are in a convenient spot. Like everyone they are understaffed right now but you will still get good service.
My wife called into apple for an issue on her 13 MBP. She had gotten a replacement keyboard less than a year ago under the Keyboard Service Program. Like the original, the replacement failed. Apple said no problem, go to the Apple Partner of your choice and have them run it through the Keyboard Service Program again. We got to Simply Mac in Marietta and techs said they couldnt do it if it has already been repaired under the program. I asked if would call Apple for the exception code. They said they couldnt. Being an Apple Tech myself, I knew they werent correct or lying. Its common practice on Apple replacement programs because without that code they wont get paid. But instead of arguing, we just left because, who wants to leave your valuables with someone that doesnt want to do the work.Called Apple back and they confirmed that all Simply Mac had to do was call and get the exception code for our case number. So that was an hour and a half wasted drive. Well just use someone else, like Onyx Consulting from now on.Im giving an extra star because the shop was clean.
Very friendly and more then helpful they went out of there way to help me out
Went there because my phone was malfunctioning and the worker who helped me was quick and efficient, supposedly I was going to have to wait up to 14 business days for the new phone replacement, but good news!! In less than 2 days I got a call saying they had it. So Id recommend to anyone who needs help with their iPhone (or any apple product) but doesnt want to go to the genius bar at apple stores
Wonderful experience at this location. Great customer service, super helpful employees, and a very clean store. Will 100% go back.
A pleasurable expensive. The sales person Q was so attentive to my needs. Great service. Ty
High repair price if no Apple care. Damage screen no other issues, starts in the $800’s from what I was told.
I cannot say enough good things about one of your technicians, Q! He’s wonderful! If you need help, he’s the guy that knows his stuff! Thank you!
Brought my phone to this location and had to log into my iCloud account from the laptop. My iCloud account was logged into after I left the store. I have never gave anyone access to my account other then this location. Your supposed to be a trusted phone company. Better off going to an actual Apple Store because this is highly unacceptable!
The repair work they did was flaw;ess. They do very fine work. But reaching them by phone is nigh on to impossible. Twice my hold time ran out and I was forced to leave a message requesting a call back. I did not get the promised call back either time.
Terrible service. The fact that my wife asked me to go in with her because they were so rude is sad. Don’t purchase anything they tell you too with knowing that’s what’s going to fix the issue.
The reps are very knowledgeable and helpful. They dont try to sell on things you dont need nor do they push any up sales. When you stop in make sure to ask for Q he will take good care of you and make sure you now all your options towards resolution!!
Since the Apple Stores are all closed for in person visits, I tried Simply Mac for the first time. I didnt even know the place existed, until a week ago.Since I was there to see about fixing my Apple Series 4 Watch, I didnt spend a lot of time looking around but the place appeared to have everything that any Apple Store has.The Techs were just as knowledgeable as the Techs at Apple. I would highly recommend the Simply Mac location here in East Cobb, They quickly, saw that my watch was still covered under Apple Care and solved the issue by sending it to Apple for repair or replacement. I plan to use them for other issues with my Apple products.
After multiple issues with more than one Best Buy, Simply Mac took us and helped us immediately. They were kind and very up front about the whole process. Would use them again if needed.
My computer was fixed. So far it is working great. Staff was awesome and friendly. They abide by “Apple Care” rules and guidelines. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because my computer was ready two days ago and didn’t receive a notification that it was ready loosing out on two more days of work. I had to look up my own repair status to find out it was ready for pick up. Other than that, great experience so far.
The two guys that were working in the store and helped run a diagnostic on my iPhone 11 were top notch. I know one of them was named Q and he was super nice. They were quick, diligent, and thorough with their explanation for what they were doing and how they were going to fix my problem. Thanks to my Apple warranty, it also cost me nothing. That was a large added bonus!
Easy, FastGreat experience- fixed my Mac Pro quick and easy
Couldn’t have a ruder staff and security team. Go to the Apple Store, save you time and money
My experience was smooth and fast. I was sent to this location by Apple since my Ipad was still covered under Apple Care and the employees made the process easy. I will say I was misled by Apple when they explained the process of getting my Ipad replaced/repaired, but Simply Mac completely understood, provided a better explanation on what I should expect, and provided great customer service.
Had a great experience at Simply Mac in East Cobb. Due to Apple corporate stores being closed during COVID I received a service appointment here through Apple for a full iPhone screen replacement. They were professional and did the required screen replacement in 3 hours once the parts arrived. Also had them put on a new screen protector. Very happy. Same if not better service than an Apple store!
Great experience, quick service, and my phone came back from Apple much quicker than expected. I do think that Apple should let the staff know that they replace the defected iPhone 7, rather than just repair the phone. Due to my phone carrier I had to make a extra trip to get a new SIM card because I was sent a completely new phone, instead. I will say that the Apple technician told me that is what happens, but the young man working at Simply Mac was adamant that they just repair the issue.Other than having to WSU an additional day to back to my carrier for the new SIM card because of the lack of information, it was a great experience!
Can not be trusted. Refused to honor the warranty and quoted me $750 for the repair. I had to send my MacBook to Apple support to get it repaired free. I am not going to recommend this store to my family, friends, and anyone who reads this message.
Very friendly very very fast Q was definitely on his game found out the problem and got me in and out it only took 2 hours
Terrible experience today ... rude manager, non-helpful and argumentative staff, not courteous or interested in solving your problem .. and mostly, bad mouthing Apple products and Apple as a company ..better go to an Apple store next time
Very very helpful. We were consulted by a nice man named “Q”. He helped me to pick out a great MacBook Air for school, and he also told us the benefits of simplycare over AppleCare.
Very good customer service
Even under the current circumstances, I enjoyed every moment of my experience at the Simply Mac in West Cobb. Q & Dustin made my experience awesome. They were Kind, professional, prompt and knowledgeable! Got everything done in a timely manner. Thanks again for just being there!
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, great experience!
Will never go back. Have an issue with the Thunderbolt ports on my iMac and made an appointment through Apple to get the computer checked out. I was told to take it to Simply Mac via Apple. I unhook all of my cables, load my computer into my car, drive an hour to get there, stand outside for 15 mins waiting on them. Finally I walk in the door and the kid ask me what is wrong and I told him in detail. His response: “Oh, there is nothing I can do for Thunderbolt ports, they’re connected to the board.” So I in turn ask “So that is it? This is what I waisted half my day on?” His response “Pretty much.” Never plugged in the machine, never checked it out, did nothing. So an hour drive back home and another hour and a half putting my office back together... stay away
Wow! Great service and great people that provided the great service! We set an appointment and no wasted time...thanks so much!!! Easier than going to Apple store!
This location was very helpful. They knew how to help and were very polite and respectful. If I have another issue with my Apple products I will definitely go and ask this location.
My wife phone has been acting strange since I took it up there to get the screen fixed. Very strange coincidences. Dallas Hwy Location
Tyler was the technician who assisted me when I came in. He set realistic expectations, and exceeded them all. My screen was broken, so I hope I don’t have a need to return. 😃 If I know someone in need of service for their Apple device, I will definitely recommend Simply Mac!
Extremely friendly, quick and straightforward. I was expecting to be without my computer for 10ish days but they had it turned around in 3. Awesome company!
Appointment was at 3:40pm. Instead of them honoring my appointment, I was told to come back tomorrow and my device would be ready. Unaccommodating and unprofessional.
Everything was perfect. I dropped my phone off with a courteous employee and picked it up on time and received excellent service. He even helped me put my screen protector on which I felt was above and beyond.
Went in thinking my wife’s battery was bad. Told us there was lint in the charging port but didn’t bother to show us. Which was $30 alone.. Then decides to tell us all the apps are turned on and that they need to be turned off. That should have been the first thing that was mentioned..
I was very happy with the service and the helpful attitude and explanation by ( Jackson ) he was very busy and by himself when I entered the store. He very patiently fixed my lap top problem in spite of having three or four people waiting. Great and effective employee customer service.
Made an appointment... called for four days straight and left voicemails. Finally had to call the store next door to get in contact with SimplyMac. They told me they could fix my screen in two hours..... so I drive an hour for my appointment where they then said they couldn’t even fix my screen.
Great service! They are fast and easy. I have had serivce here before and they do a great job!
Battery was failing on MacBook Air, they will allow you to leave the laptop and a drive to back your files, and hold the drive for you. We picked up the repaired laptop plus the drive at the same time! It was great....
So this is our sixth MacBook Pro over the years, as We have an iMac. Chris Huff and his team are knowledgeable, and work hard to meet our needs in our systems. I would send anyone to them at Simply Mac.
My phone has been acting strange...its an Apple 6-S (I know, its old). The reps here were able to do an analysis in 15 minutes, & they told me it wasnt my battery (as I thought it might be). Now, have to purchase a new phone- only paid $19.95 to discover it wasnt the battery. Will go to them again when I need help w/ my tech toys! Dixie
Would not recommend this store to anyone! They never answer a phone and I know they are not that busy . Also they give you misleading information on returns . Not a good experience at all
I just picked up my iphone7 (Saturday August 15th). It went on the fritz during a software update and then just completely crashed to where I couldn’t turn it on unless I plugged it into iTunes. Thank you Simply MAC for taking such great care. The process of getting my phone repaired was very simple and fast! I was told the repair time would be 7-14 days and it only took a week (I dropped it off late Friday afternoon & picked it up early afternoon the following week on Saturday). I’m a very happy customer and will be back for sure, for any of our phone/computer needs.~Erin
I would like to say thank you to the guys at Simply MacY’all were a lifesaver to get me back on my phone
Weston definitely helped with all of the questions that I had about my new phone! He was thorough with his responses and it made me a lot more knowledgeable about my device. (:
Simply Mac? more like Simply MADDENING...On Wednesday I took my iPhone 11 in for a screen repair and waited 3 hours to be told something went wrong with the repair and walked out of the store phone-less.I was not give ANY updates (no one responded to my calls or emails) until 4PM the following day. I didnt ACTUALLY get my replacement phone until Friday, so I went 2 days phone less and wasted about 4 hours of my workday dealing with someone elses repair mistake. When I got the new phone they told me they had lost the SIM card. Im grateful AT&T was understanding and replaced it at no cost but... seriously??I went in for a simple screen repair and ended having to get a completely new phone and SIM card because the technicians at Simply Mac messed up not once, but TWICE with the same customer.Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your Apple needs
Simply price gouging. Before bringing your Macbook here, understand that there is a nonrefundable, $80 fee charged for the technicians to even LOOK at your device: regardless of whether or not you decide to have any repairs done, you will still pay this fee. I came to Simply Mac to have my battery replaced and was prepared to pay somewhere around $180, the price that was verbally quoted to me by the representative and said to be inclusive of the $80 I had to pay up front. I received a call several hours later with a quote for $920 due to Apple repair regulations stating that they were not allowed to simply replace the battery. I understand that these are Apples regulations (not Simply Macs), so I declined the repairs and picked up my computer. I was told that no portion of the initial $80 could be refunded, however, despite the fact that Simply Mac performed absolutely no work on my computer apart from the initial diagnostic. I ended up ordering a battery on ifixit.com for $85...its an easy, 10-minute fix. I wish I had never gone to Simply Mac and wasted the $80.
I thought the repair went well on my phone but later barely got wet and now its ruined. They will take any responsibilty or even check to determine if at fault. will not use again.edit with an updatetook phone elsewhere and reported everything on the inside was ruined due to the poor repair that left the screen not fully sealed the to body. basically this $350 screen repair cost me the $1100 phone.
Although the news on restoring damaged apples was not good, the service, knowledge, and clear and concise explanations all excellent on two trips made to this store. Store managers people of honesty and integrity and able to advise on solutions, support, and accessibility as this journey is not complete. Quality people well deserve 5 stars, great ambassadors for Apple. I am a long time apple user, and remain a loyal customer.
I had quick and good service. I did go 30minutes after theyd opened though. I dont wait till the middle of the day when everyone is trying to get stuff done. My associate was very pleasant and helpful.
I had a broken iPhone X. The screen didn’t work properly and they fixed under warranty. They were super nice and friendly! Fantastic customer service and 10/10!
IF I COULD RATE 10 STARS I WOULD!!! Derek was amazing. His professionalism coupled with efficiency and friendly welcoming attitude was such a blessing. He was handling 5 people and a multitude of phone calls all at once with grace and speed and he was all by himself taking care of everyone. I will always come back here for all my Apple needs. They should give Derek a raise!
Staff was knowledgeable and did what they could to assist to my personal inquiries.
I woke up today was my iPhone 8 stuck in a reboot loop. I live alone and have no laptop. Long story short figured out they were open and went over. They had me back up and running in about 45 minutes. Literally had a panic attack and crying spells all morning. Scott and Tyler at Simply Mac were calm, professional, and saved my day-more like my life!! Thank you!
Just dropped my Mac book pro off for repairs /updates, Dustin took care of me very well informed, polite etc! Definitely recommend this place! Thanks for all your help!
I needed a battery replacement for my I-phone and had reserved on line, but it was at a store that was across town and when I went to the store closer they were able to replace my battery and called the other store to let them know that they could release my hold. I was grateful for the courteous and very accommodating help they provided. Thanks
We went to Simply Mac to look at and possibly purchase an I-Pad. We came away with an I-Pad after we were carefully told the likes and dislikes between the I-Pad and I-Pad Pro which was very helpful. The associate took her time to answer any and all questions that we had. Our experience was a good one and when we need a product again, we will check out Simply Mac before checking anywhere else.
I called to have a 2015 MacBook Pro serviced and was offered a convenient appointment the following day. Showed up and was greeted by friendly staff.Alyssa checked me in and thoughtfully diagnosed and found an additional problem that she offered to fix free of charge under the same program.I can not speak more highly of Alyssa’s expertise, customer care and her ability to listen to the customer and offer helpful solutions.10-star recommendation.
They do not honor or even recognize appointments made through Apple.
Went in for an iPhone that wouldn’t boot and Mindi was very helpful and knowledgeable. She told me what she thought it might be and there were no surprises on the bill.Really appreciate these guys.
Excellent service. I was very pleased with my experience. I was able to get a short-notice appointment (< 24 hours). The Genius (Brian) diagnosed my problem: bad batter on my 2014 MacBook Air. Derek was very helpful as I considered upgrading to a new MBA. Price was reasonable ($150) and turnaround time was great (
My dog ate my computer (no joke). These guys were incredibly professional and turned around my computer in NO TIME. So impressed - thank you!!!
I made an appointment through Apple to have the battery in my iPhone 6 replaced. The day of the appointment I called three separate times, pressing 2 on my phone to continue holding. My call was never answered so I left a voicemail. I wanted to confirm that they would honor Apples $29.00 replacement price. Never received a call back.I get to the store ten minutes before my appointment. Three people are working but only one person is being helped at the time. There are no other people in the store. I approached the girl at the front desk, tell her why Im here, and automatically know- based on the look on her face- that I will not be receiving my new battery today.Did you go through Apple? she asked.Yes.I dont know why they are doing this. We are out of batteries. There are 50 people in a queue at the moment ahead of you.I said, You know I called three times and left a voicemail today. No one ever answered or returned my call. I could have avoided this waste of time.I know, she said. We dont have time to return the calls because we are just so busy. I observed the worker standing at the rear desk doing absolutely nothing, but I dont say anything. Can I at least get on the wait list?Sure. Lets go to the back. I need to get some info off the phone. She heads back and I slowly make my way to the rear desk.I get back there and she tells me shell need to run a diagnostic to make sure theres nothing else on the phone (whatever that means) that will cost $19.99.Im thinking this will need to be done whenever I come in to have the battery replaced, but apparently it needs to be done now.Disgusted at the whole process, I picked up my phone and said, Dont worry Ill just make other arrangements before leaving.I will take my iPhone to Sneaky Petes Roadside Apple Product Repair Stand before I step foot in this horribly run business again.
Fast and easy for the company to figure out what the problem was for my laptop, however, after spending 70$ my laptop still has the same issues and now the laptop seems to run even slower than usual. Apple music doesnt open or force quit anymore; resorted to shutting down my laptop multiple times.
They were courteous and professional. Goes by super fast if you have AppleCare+. Someone get them an upgrade so they can have Apple Pay! Haha
Really appreciate the guys helping me resolve my iPhone 10 issue in a timely manner even with the current restrictions in place due to Covid 19.
Store Rep. was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me choose which Mac product would best suit my needs. Very patient with me, as Im not as familiar with Mac Products as with other products. Would recommend this store for service, as Ive used them before, and because of its location.
Came in to simply Mac today with several issues met up with Tyler was positively awesome. Polite conscientious informative and helped me with every issue I had give that man a raise!
Good experience with this store; they are courteous and technically very good.
Im really thankful for the help and advice I got about my laptop and additional products Ive been thinking about. Absolutely wonderful customer service & great team!! It seems like itd be pretty fun to work with these guys. Thank you all~D, C, B & A!! Hope to see you all soon!!
The Mac Team knows there stuff. I had a wonderful experience in August and found them to be responsive, professional and caring to resolve my phone issues.Very pleased!!
Great Apple service! Friendly and knowledgeable folks!
During a zoom world, as a business woman, having the battery replaced was urgent. The people were prompt and courteous, and I had it back within a couple of hours.
Called to schedule a screen repair. Told them the model of my phone. They scheduled a repair date/time with me. I finish work at 3, drove through extra traffic to make my 6pm appointment. Checking in and they tell me they don’t keep my model’s replacement screen in stock. I’ll have to reschedule and wait 1-3 business days. Yikes. I’ll be going somewhere else for all Apple needs.
Dustin was a huge help and very knowledgeable. My iphone XS max was glitching and i came in there and ran diagnostics. Super helpful
They got all of my data back!!--Which was awesome. They charged me two service fees.--Which wasnt awesome. They backed up my full laptop on a drive I provided.--Which I loved. They created an incorrect password.--Which I hated. They updated me before they did anything new to the Mac.--Super cool! They were so busy that they had my Mac for over a week.--Not cool.I havent had trouble since....so the good outweighs the bad.
Greeted immediately, but had to wait for other customers. The salesman was knowledgeable, helpful, and listened to my needs before recommending a product that was less expensive than what I had planned to spend. An excellent shopping experience.
Great service!!! Totally committed and knowledgeable about Apple products. Like visiting an actual Apple store.
I found this store to be lacking in quality customer service. When I entered, I wasnt greeted and was ultimately handed from person to person--one in particular seemed totally annoyed that they had to deal with a customer request. Dont try calling the store to get any info on your product, as they dont ever pick up the phone. They didnt get back to me when they said they would. Selection of accessories is slim at best. I try to avoid this place if at all possible.
Great staff at this location. Quick to help. Well stocked.
Excellent experience! The people here really went out of the way to make me feel listened to and understood how to handle my problems efficiently!
I had a scheduled appointment at the Genius Bar. I was able to be seen immediately by the assistant manager (I believe). He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and I was able to avoid any additional fees since it was a simple charger issue. He was courteous and quick to help.
Service was quicker than expected. However, sales staff seemed inexperienced in customer relations or able to explain any question I asked. I felt the tech should have followed up with me after repair. After all,I set up appointment and no one knew of any warranty on parts replaced.
This store should actually be rated a zero, but that’s not available for rating. I went into the store to get a battery replacement. The store said they needed to check my phone to see if one was needed. They charged me $19.95 to do this. They ordered a battery for me. That was in March. I called Apple and told them the situation. They made a call and I got a battery the same day. That’s customer service. The staff at this store is so inept, I’m wondering how they are still open
This place went above and beyond for us. We ordered a machine at a fair price. The order didn’t arrive as expected but they made it up to me in service. I would buy from this place again!
I would like to thank the staff at this store for assisting me in purchasing a new laptop. I have purchased several other Macs from them and returned after having great experience. This time I had to return my purchase the next day and upgrade to a larger capacity device, but that was my fault for not getting more storage in the first place. Chris took the returned item back in and respectfully showed me additional options. I walked away feeling happy that I shopped at this location. I will definitely return for additional items.
The two guys working, Weston and his store manager (did not catch his name ) were awesome! Very friendly and so helpful with getting my accessories on my phone. Thanks guys! :)
The customer service I received was great! I brought in my iphone 8 plus to get looked at because of my front camera issues & they instantly diagnosed the problem & ordered my part to fix it! I brought it in & they fixed it within two hours! The staff were really friendly & awesome!
Had a very good experience - all employees were helpful and knowledgeable, especially Jackson.
Ive been served by Derek on my 2 visits to the store. Both times I have had exceptional service. Highly recommend simply mac!
I had a pleasant experience today with Andrew Harris. He was attentive to my questions and assisted me with troubleshooting so I am able to make a difference in someone else’s day who may be faced with frustration in the world of technology. It’s a blessing to be a blessing to others. Thank you Andrew.. my research is still going🍎 thank you Apple
Honestly, just go the extra mile to the closest Apple Store, a real one. The employees here are unhelpful at best. They make you pay for everything, including simple issues that the Apple Store answers for free. Im not convinced that these employees or the business is affiliated with Apple at all, and if they are, shame on Apple.
