Excellent experience! The sales representative, Shelby was very knowledgeable with a multitude of products, color coordinating the scheme for our living room and helped with painting a “bigger” picture for the rest of our home. She listened to the wants we had in mind and then started filling in the pieces. We will definitely be shopping at Art Van Furniture throughout our home decorating experience.

Words cannot express how appreciative I am for all they did to help me to purchase my couch in a very small time frame. The couch is great, would definitely recommend them for your future purchases. The folks on the sales floor - Brad and Patty - were great, and went the extra mile to help me find with I was looking for. The delivery was on time and the delivery people were quick, courteous, and helpful. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star review was the disappointing availability of the furnishings featured on the website. I needed to furnish a room immediately, and so many of the choices had wait times of two to twelve weeks! I ended up getting whatever was available the soonest. This does not reflect on the very good service I received from the people I dealt with; they were great. I wish, however, that I could walk into the store and buy things I saw on the website and have them delivered in a reasonable length of time.

We stopped in to Art Van wanting to check out entertainment stands, but ended up purchasing a very nice couch. The sales staff was friendly, and not pushy. They even delivered our couch and installed it at our home an hour away! The couch is very comfortable and is great quality!!

We ordered our mattress over the telephone. the salesperson was very nice to deal with. (Brad W). We knew what we wanted so did not have to make a trip to the store. Did not have in stock but it was here within 1 week. When we picked it up it was fairly quick, had to wait a for our turn at the delivery dock. Everyone was very friendly. The only thing is we did not get a copy of the receipt.I highly recommend the store, they are easy to work with.

We purchased a Cafe Refrigerator and Kicthen Aid Microwave from the Marquette Store. Erick was awesome to work with and both items were delivered quickly. We did have a bit of damage to the top of the Fridge but they are ordering a new part. Highly recommend.

This is such a great store! Always smiles, hellos, and no pressure while you shop. Picked up a clock today that I had ordered awhile ago. There was that same good customer service that never changes. “Bear” took it out to my Jeep for me so I didn’t have to drive down into the loading dock to pick it up. So thankful to him because it was heavy ☺️

Extremely frustrated and disappointed.We bought a couch including warranty. The armrest broke and when we went into the store to see about it getting fixed/replaced they said they would have someone call us.The next day we received a phone call saying the soonest they could have someone come attempt to fix our couch (which they have to do to determine if they’ll cover it or not) wouldn’t be for another 4 weeks.The night before they were supposed to come they called and canceled. We waited a MONTH for a call the night before canceling. We are currently waiting to reschedule. Who knows how long that will take.I have a couch with an armrest on the floor. They said “throw a blanket over it,” and wait til the service man can get there.

We’ve had the worst customer service from this store imaginable. We ordered a couch September 1, 2019 and were told the couch takes 8-10 weeks and we paid $170 to have it delivered. 10 weeks came and we finally got the call the couch had arrived, but it just so happened they weren’t going to have a truck coming this way for another month. We weren’t pleased as we moved into a new house and had no furniture. The day before our couch was scheduled to be delivered (this is at 14 weeks after ordering, and 4 weeks after they said they had the couch ready), we were informed there was a small hole in the back of the a part of the sectional. They wouldn’t be able to deliver that piece. We expected some sort of apology and an attempt to make it right. Instead we were told it will take another 8-10 weeks to get that piece.At this point in time it was the week prior to thanksgiving, unhappy that they had the couch for 4 weeks without inspecting, finding the hole, and ordering the new couch was very irritating. So hence again, we were disappointed the store offered no apology, but instead insisted we could purchase the warranty for the couch with a hole in it for another $180, get the defective piece delivered and their repair man would be able to come inspect when he’s in the area next quarter. To which I was appalled that instead of trying to make it right, they were trying to talk us into spending $180 more on a couch with a hole in it after we spend $1,700 to purchase this couch brand new. After speaking to several managers/staff, no one offered any sort of apology or customer service to make this right. After many discussions, the manager Katie informed us that she could get the couch rush ordered (which would only take about 4 weeks since this was damaged by the manufacturer and they would want to fix it right away) and as soon as the couch got to the store, they would have it delivered.Fast forward another couple weeks and we are in the middle of January. We called once again because at this point it’s been 8-10 weeks after the original couch was damaged and a new one (even without being rushed) should have been there by now. We were informed by the receptionist that the couch was there. Then once the manager got on the phone, she said it wasn’t... (seems odd to me). The couch was finished but they weren’t having any trucks come to the store soon so we wouldn’t get our couch. (Since when is it okay to continue to make your customer feel like their $1,700 purchase is important and we don’t deserve our merchandise?!) the manager did assure us that she would call and let us know when the couch got there.Once again, another call today. Two weeks since our last call.... receptionist informed me that the couch was there!! But then asked if we still wanted the delivery (Um yes, we paid $180 for that already). She said the next time a truck would be in our area was February 13. Of course. That’s 166 days after we ordered it, when it was ordered it should have taken 70 days MAX. That’s nearly half a year later.... we could have ordered a couch from a different store over the holidays and I’m sure we would have it delivered before we get our couch from art van.So what happened to the rush order? What happened to the couch being delivered as soon as it got to the store? Where was the customer service? What happened to the manager calling us once the couch got to the store?This is been the worst experience I’ve ever had for customer service. And honestly, it seems as though they do not care that we’ve been without this section of our couch for months. I’m sure if they were in our shoes they would not be pleased (and they have every right to be).We’ve been pulled around by the managers. We’ve called so many times with the receptionist informing us that their managers were currently busy and wouldn’t be able to speak to us (isn’t that convenient?!) but she’d have them call us. And then we go without a returned call.I beg you not to order from this store and not let them jerk you around.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute horrible customer service. Even before the covid shutdown was waiting 3 months for someone to be sourced out of Green Bay to fix my couch after I paid for the Gold service package. Customer service did not care, blatantly argumentative and rude. Still waiting for someone to fix my couch. Would prefer a refund and a couch from somewhere that cares about customer service and possible repeat customers.

I don’t love buying furniture... the sales people bother a bit, and I feel I have to decide quickly or I’ll hear everything about everything when honestly, I just want to look and think. I knew right away that I liked a specific set. I Made the choice and went back to buy. I give the most credit to the delivery people. They never know what they’re getting into. I was convinced that these guys would be able to deliver through the front door and down into the basement. Turns out our set was a bit too large for that. We’d received so much snow there was no way that I thought they could get down the side of our house and into the sliding glass door of the basement where the furniture was to remain, from the outside. Nevertheless, these gentlemen proceeded to assist me in shoveling a path that would allow better access to the basement. I did tip these gentlemen financially but I’d like to give them credit using this forum as it seems so many times people use these platforms to complain rather than to praise. Thank you. Ive been dealing with waking up early mornings with lower back pain. After months of trying different things, I decided to start looking at a new bed. I was shopping online, looking at numerous of mattresses bouncing around cost options. Through a friend, I was informed of the Pure Sleep test Art Van had at their store. I considered stopping in and having this done. I know I needed to find the best mattress, and thought having the test wouldnt hurt. When I stopped in, I was greeted by Brad, the mattress guru! He helped me through the test and had me check out multiple of mattresses within my price range. He was very friendly, helpful and well educated about the mattresses and was able to get me the best mattress for my needs. With his help, I purchased the Adrenaline Performance memory foam mattress. Since then, Ive had a week or so of sleeping in this bed..and I have to say I am VERY happy with my purchase and thankful I decided to stop down at Art Van and work with Brad. I can say I wake up refreshed and pain free everyday!! Thats a huge win in my book! Thank you again Brad!! 😊

Items was delivered on time and in good shape. The only thing why I am giving 3 stars is that after I paid for furniture taking the word that Art Van would deliver and assemble furniture. Sales called me and told me that they would not assemble the desk (hint: the desk is little bit hectic to assemble), if you rely on the idea to pay more money to Art Van to get a piece of mind from buying online and assembling yourself, you might end up like me, getting stuff easy to assemble like sofa, dinning table from Art Van and getting the desk from Amazon (paying more money and still needing to do the work). Not satisfied that they changed their word after the agreement.

My furniture arrived as scheduled. The two young men delivering were very pleasant. However, my the furniture was very dirty because it was not protected by any covering. I have never had this happen before and I have been buying furniture for over 40 years. So today I will spend some time cleaning it all before it can be used.

She really is good at helping someone determine their style through the process of elimination (do you like this couch? Why not? ‘The back is too high), then brought to a different sofa with lower back and evaluated that one. It was a very good process.

My experience went from good to bad to worse! Purchased a mattress and cant even use it due to being so defective! A time even came and said it was defective! but according to his measurement which could have been off, according to their standards it was off 1/2 inch and was considered a comfort issue and we are literally stuck with a mattress that we cannot use because it has such a huge dip in the center of it and the only way we can replace it is by paying $300 for a replacement! Ive never seen such poor service and it took me almost a month to get to Be told my defective mattress is actually a preference and a comfort issue!!! Should have stuck with our own hometown store because this never would have happened!

They said between 9am-12pm is when I would get my loveseat and right at 9am they were outside and by 910am i was sitting on my new couch. I purchased a furniture set less than 1 year ago from this store. I have 2 active warranties on the set and yet somehow nothing qualified under either of them. Given the opportunity to correct their errors, Tammy, Regina & Katie refused to provide any level of customer service. My family has been buying from Art Van for years and has spent a great deal of money with this establishment so being treated this way was appalling. I would recommend you shop at Kirkish Furniture or Gartners Furniture, they have done very well for us when Art Van did not.

Love our new leather sectional but, the service on pick-up was poor. We were greeted very rudely upon pick up of our new sectional in the loading bays. Which was very upsetting after spending a lot of money at this store. Also while I was purchasing our new sectional a friend had come with me and they were walking around looking at furniture and were told that the store was closing(15 minutes before closing), not asked for help. If I had know all this before I would not have purchased anything from this store.

After they installed our hose drier, I noticed that they had damaged the duct and just put a piece of tape on it rather than properly repairing or replacing it. Then, at a later date, the duct blew off the back of the drier. There had been a clamp there but instead, they had just taped it in place (and a sloppy job at that). I went back there to get some satisfaction but the person I spoke to just stared at me blankly and offered no solutions. We are planning to buy a new refrigerator but it wont be there. I would appreciate more responsive and quality service but I did not find it here.

We purchased a leather sofa, chairs and ottoman for our cabin. After less than a year there appeared a 7 inch long mark on the arm of the sofa. We figured out that there wasn’t enough padding there inside the arm and it caused the sofa to wear in that spot. We went back to the store and after quite awhile they told us that while they didn’t disagree the unsightly arm was the result of faulty manufacturing they could not do anything because it was two days past the one year warranty. We did not even live there full time so the couch had little use up to that point. I was not from Michigan but I see those stores now wherever I travel in the state. My thought is they do not stand behind what they sell. I will never walk in one of their stores again as I continue to see the ugly mark on the arm of my sofa daily.

Still waiting for my furniture to be delivered because I just purchased yesterday!Update: I got my couch which was great. Over TWO MONTHS later I got my recliner. I was told in November when I bought it that it’d be in after the new year, then it was mid January. Well it’s January 20th and I haven’t heard anything so I call and they say well it still says mid January so it should be here by the end of the month. The end of the month comes around and no call. So I call them again and they said oh it’ll be available for pick up after 1pm February 6th but I haven’t gotten around to making those calls to let people know yet, at 3pm? Whatever. Then I call February 6th to tell them my mom will be picking it up and they inform me that the delivery truck is having mechanical issues and plan on it being there but not at 1pm like they originally planned oh and then mentioned they were going to call when they knew what time it would be there. funny how they were always “going to call” but I beat them to it. So thank god my mom didn’t start making the two hour trip up there because they call me back later to let me know it won’t be ready for the next day. Didn’t offer anything for my inconvenience and they’re terrible at communicating.

We had such a good experience the first time we went back Monday as we needed a new coffee tables and a couch for our family room and had another awesome experience this time we had Dylan help us and he was very polite and willing to help with everything we wanted to see. Very happy with everything we recieved!We had a wonderful experience! The sales people were very nice we had Kelly I believe her name was and Brad! They were amazing! Very polite! They definitely knew what they were talking about which was very helpful! Learned lots of new things! Overall it was a great experience! First off, your taking a look around and eye shopping going in knowing what your interest is, and theres more then 1 obviously. Then of course a rep comes to interupt to get that commission, so you go with it, and when youve chosen, you have to follow one that won you over to do the order then go to another desk to pay, get all your reps desks suitable equipment to take care of their clients in one spot instead of the running around looking for a manager, causing extra wait time on a client. The dis organizing makes it uncomfortable staff.

Extremely disappointed in the Marquette store customer service!! I ordered a new sectional from there last week, at that point everything seemed great, my salesperson was knowledgeable and talked to me about both the 1 yr. manufacturer warranty and then the extended accidental warranty (which I declined). After we picked up the sofa and got it home in our enclosed trailer, I found two defects in it, 1) a broken back frame and 2) a spring or plastic piece that protrudes and pushes out against the back fabric. I contacted them within hours and was told that because I didnt purchase their $370 extended warranty, there was nothing they would do for me -placing the blame on both me and their corporate office. I was told that because I purchased my new sofa from the middle of the store instead of the front, the 7 day return policy was void as well. (She said I should have known the difference in sections because the walls are painted a different color there than in the front of the store..Wtf?) I talked to the customer service manager numerous times, but they would not let me talk to the store manager or owner, I was told my salesperson would call me back 3 days ago - Im still waiting.. I qualified for the Art Van 0% financing, and have a lot more furniture I am looking to get, but I definitely wont be purchasing anything more from Art Van in Marquette!!

Picked up furniture piece in box. Got home and unboxed to find out its the wrong piece. Store told me I now have to pay $100 to have the correct piece delivered. This is after waiting 3 months unexpectedly due to an inventory run out. This is the second terrible experience I have had out of two purchase. They are batting zero.

Always feel rushed and like a swarm of vultures are sitting there waiting to flock in on you. Except this time I could hear them saying whos turn is it? If you have that many people working on any given day where you have to take turns maybe you have too many people there.It was just awkward especially when I had the sales lady (after the group of about 5 decided whos turn it was) practically speed walking to catch up to me to ask what I was in for.

We had a Great experience with Art Van furniture in both Muskegon Michigan and Marquette Michigan. Both managers did a Wonderful job logistically with my furniture purchased in Muskegon viewed in both stores and shipped out of Marquette. I am extremely pleased with the quality of my items and feel both managers went above and beyond to coordinate the effort. This was an example of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.. Thank You again

This store is amazing! Not only is their furniture beautiful, their service is exemplary. We purchased a lovely La-Z-Boy sofa and loveseat, but there was a mix-up and the furniture wasnt delivered on the day I expected. I panicked because we were expecting company and I had already gotten rid of my old furniture, so there was no place for our guests to sit! Our salesman Brad and the store owner BORROWED A TRAILER and made a special trip (did I mention I live over 60 miles away?) to make sure I got my furniture before the weekend. The furniture looks great and I cant say enough about the service. You wont regret buying your furniture from this Art Van store.

I am giving three stars because we had a great time picking our furniture, the people at art van were wonderful and very helpful. But... The delivery men that brought our furniture to us were awful. They pulled up and were complaining the entire time because they had to walk a little bit with the furniture. They couldnt pull the truck right to the door because the trail was not wide enough. Which we spent hours shoveling to make it easier for them before they came. They tried to pull the truck over the snow and almost tipped the truck. One male said this sucks and continued to complain until they were finished. Very unprofessional. They made me uncomfortable and I dont want to experance it again.
