Dont go there much, prices are high. I did purchase spray sunscreen and alcohol. The cashier wasnt satisfied when she asked me for my birthdate, Im 62 with gray hair and glasses. She wanted my ID, she scanned it, swiped it and still had to enter the info manually while the lined backed up with only one cashier.
I dont shop Rite Aid often so I didnt see sign in between the cubicles for where the wait line began for the registers. Figured only one person in line so Ill stand off to the side of them. A line started forming after I was standing there for what could have been 4 minutes. The customer also saw me standing but rushed up to check out. Now I know the cashier and the customer saw me standing there forever with my items in hand to buy. So I asked was I standing out of line. Cashier then points to the sign saying the line starts there. Well theres other people now and why go back to the end? Just handed her my items and walked out.You have to know obviously I didnt see the sign or knew since I dont shop here hardly at all. The right thing to do would have been to at least acknowledge me standing there and tell me where to stand instead of letting me stand there for four minutes with no one else there instead of watching the line pile up on me knowing I didnt know.Only thing to do is just go spend money where Im treated right. Will never shop that Rite Aid again. What happened to just courtesy, neighborly respect out there and fairness in the world.
Shelves sparse with product.
Do they still sell ice cream by the scoop? Not sure they do. When I lived close by, I would stop by this Rite Aid.
If you take some time to get to know the pharmacy staff, they will bend over backwards for you. I have been coming to this store for over 25 years (back when it was Pay Less pharmacy!), and have always had stellar service from the pharmacists and their support staff. Highly recommend.
This place is AWESOME!!!! The pharmacy department provides unbelievable service. They helped me get prescription medication that my own provider health plan did not keep on hand...What? So my Kaiser doctor writes me a Rx for a product that is not even available at Kaiser. Sooo, I had to find a pharmacy to help me! Rite Aid pharmacy staff and pharmacist went way beyond an extra mile for two days getting this done. The freakin Rx cost $65.00!! However, they had already applied my generic pharmacy discount card and I was out the door for $22. These people literally took care of me. Always courteous, smiling, friendly, informative, and got er done. BRAVO! What a positive experience this turned out to be. I recommend this particular pharmacy (Martinez, CA) to anyone who appreciates exceptional service. Thank you Rite Aid! ; )
Came in here with my 2 kids. My son needed to use the restroom and asked the guy working. He told him the bathrooms were closed. So I went and asked him and question how are they closed if the store is opened? Well apparently he and one other guy are the only ones there and cant watch the store and the bathrooms! Wth I didnt need anyone to monitor my son using the bathroom. Also there was only like 2 other people in the whole store.
Share the details of my experience? where would I begin, but also where would I end. nowhere and everywhere. just know this is the best rite aid you will ever visit
Dont expect a quick experience, and if the 1pharmacist thats on duty is on their lunch break, you cannot pick up a new prescription until that pharmacist returns. Call before you go to make sure the pharmacist wont be taking a break during the time you plan on going or else you may have to wait an hour for the pharmacist to return to pick up a new prescription. This pharmacy is very slow and Ive had several instances where i called to make sure i would be able to pick up a refill on a certain date and when i go to get it, theres an issue that has to wait for Dr or approval and im without meds for several days, waiting. I honestly never had these issues at Walgreens, I may go back there.
I was left standing at the pharmacy window with a prescription request for a long time with my 2 toddler children. Everybody was looking down and did not even look at us. I was left standing there while my toddler children played around. I was trying to keep them with me but was unable to while waiting in line. I wouldnt mind but there was only one other person getting served and the store was otherwise empty. I ended up leaving with my prescription to seek out another pharmacy. Its tuff when you have kids with you but at least look up and say something so I know you see us.
People working here are very friendly and willing to help me look for what I need if I cant find it.
Always have what I need. Some of the staff could be more helpful but I usually get lucky and get great service.
Staff in the pharmacy are rude and slow. I will call in prescriptions a week in advance, and its never filled when I show up.
I LOVE THIS STORE ..THEY ARE INCREDIBLY NICE !!
Convenient close to our neighborhood
They do not answer phone during business hours.
