My experience with this small store started with a few phone calls back and forth on an exchange and checking availability for current tech. While I may not have found exactly what I was looking for in one area, the members sufficed in other areas by providing more than exceptional alternatives and knowledge, and helping me prepare for future purchases. Thank you so much to Caleb for taking the time to physically show me what I can expect out of what Im wanting. Thank you Ryan and Michael for providing awesome customer service and really making me feel welcome in the store. Shout out to Jason for providing his extensive knowledge and working with your techs to give me a quick estimate on services. While it may not be something Im interested in (due solely to personal finances) I really felt that I was being taken care of. Arrived and waited all of 3 minutes to get service. Ryan was very helpful in first getting my sleepy computer to wake up. I did not have a set login or password and Ryan helped me with that. I took my mom here to have her laptop repaired. She does not understand anything computer related so listening to her explain what she needed wasnt going well. Matt, Ryan, AND Kyle were soooo patient with her trying to understand what she needed done and how they could help her. They probably spent an additional 30 minutes just answering her computer questions not directly related to her problem. Those 3 were more patient with her that I was, and they did such a good job explaining her options. I have always had great experiences at this location. They have built 2 desktop systems for me over the past 10ish years which were great. They also take care of my kids computers. This group knows what they are doing! Computer Exchange helped me out with my desktop. They could have easily charged me 10 bucks but instead they pretty much said youre welcome. Initial impression is that I should try them first for my computer needs.
Computer Exchange was recommended to me by my dad. I was having computer problems and we worked on trying to figure it out for 3 agganizing hours. I took my computer in on a Tuesday and the young man behind the front counter, Kyle, was very helpful and knowledgeable and had my computer ready for me the next day. He was very detailed in explaining what the problems were and what they had to do to fix them. My computer runs exactly like he said and I will definitely be going back to Kyle when its time for a new computer. I didnt know they sold new computers!!

After 7 trips and numerous phone calls..I bought a $180 rebuilt computer and immediately had power issues that I had to diagnose myself then they finally swapped it out and only to find out after I get home they didnt give me a power cord..I dont care at this point if it works or not I will just get a new one and eat that money..

Had a personal issue with a PC and even though the shop wasnt able to fix my issue they suggested something that allowed me to fix it myself. I had went to Bestbuys Geek squad and they first rescheduled me, and then told me they couldnt help me.

Bought a refurbished computer from their store. Did not notice it because I don’t use the volume on computers much. The speakers are blown on it. I was told they are as new when they are refurbished. This is what happens when you decide to support local business. Won’t ever happen again. I will buy everything from Best Buy from here on out.Response: Due to the store hours that you now have it is not possible for me to resolve this issue. I work Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This is why I have not contacted you in person to get this issue resolved. If you decide to have normal store hours again I can have you resolve this issue if not then please do not say that you are doing what you can to resolve the issue. Your store is open 4 hours a day...

These folks have been my go to for computer problems for years. They are extremely knowledgeable and have been in business for 25 years. Very disappointed in the customer service I received from this store. Prior to me bringing my laptop in, it had been in storage in the basement for several months and only recently been used. I brought it in to be looked at because it was no longer turning on. I figured it was because it hadn’t been running for a while. Turns out bugs had gotten into my laptop! I was absolutely shocked at this when I got the call to pick up my laptop. Obviously, I was mortified and completely embarrassed by the whole situation already, but the front desk staff made it so much worse. Both the woman on the phone and the man who assisted me in the store were rude, condescending, and didn’t offer me any sort of help as to what I could do next. I apologized profusely and explained that they must have gotten inside the computer while it was in storage, but they looked at me like I was less than human. I ended up crying in my car due to their rudeness and shock that my MacBook is no longer viable. When I asked what else I could do, he didn’t even say anything, just looked at me. When the CUSTOMER is apologizing to the STAFF and they do not acknowledge that, there is a serious issue. I do NOT fault the technician for not wanting to work on the computer. The bugs are disgusting and I had I known that was the problem I never would have brought it in. It was put away in storage for a few months in the Georgia humidity and heat, I guess I should have known better. Anyway, I’m sure the technician is great, as per the reviews say, but the front desk staff needs a serious lesson in not judging a person by a computer problemEDIT: owner called and resolved the problem. Craig was great and helped me understand all the issues along the way. He was thorough and adressed all questions.
They fixed my computer like they said they would. I was told I would be helped with some installation of some extra items because I am not savy working on a computer. I paid my bill. Then when it came to the extra help I was promised, it was nonexistant. The guy helping me was asked what he was doing and then told to move to the end of the counter. He then tried again. During the process of explaining, the same supervisor told the guy helping me to hurry up. So I was printed up instructions which were incomplete on what else to do. As I packed up my computer and the rest of my belongs the supervisor asked me if I was satisfied with their work? I answered yes. Didnt have a chance to check out out their work because I havent been home yet to run a test run. The employee, who had helped me, told me the store was having internet problems. As I left Computer Exchange I made eye contact with the person the helped me and said thank you for trying to help me again. So that was my experience at Computer Exchange. So before and during the time I paid everything was fine. Once I paid. I was kicked to the curb like a dog.

I carried my laptop to them, because it would not get on to the internet. I suspected the Wi-Fi card had gone bad, after attempting myself to download a new Wi-Fi adapter, and it did not receive it. Theyre diagnostics revealed that there was so much more wrong with my computer. I told them about my screen also acting up. Of course its diagnostic was not too good. As for the condition of my computer, my recommendation was to trade it in on a new one . I do not have a problem with the diagnostics, however, there are no computer laptops that I saw in the inventory that would trade within my budget. When I received my computer back, I was given a fair price below the stated diagnostics charge. Im thankful for that. However my charging Jack was loose when I got it home. I called back to ask if I could bring it back to have the charging Jack tightened, He said I could but when I took it back, I was told it would cost an additional charge. I left discouraged. After sharing my review, the owner contacted me to see if He could resolve the issue at no extra cost. I took it back once more, and found out It was just the wrong charge chord that had gotten mixed up somehow. We were able to work it out at no extra charge. Big thanks to Charles for caring enough to work with me. That is good customer service. Thanks again...I know who to deal with if I have problems on the next visit...lol!

They custom build to your needs..they do on site service..they do have new and used products available. My two year old Origin PC was corrupted and would not boot up. Took it in to Computer Exchange. The check in was very professional and easy. They called in just one day with the diagnosis and gave me options on the fix and the prices. I approved the fix and two days later it was ready to pick up. They had reduced their quoted price by 11% as their was less data to recover than they had anticipated. The fix was excellent. They added some helpful additional software and the computer runs better than when it was new. I call that a five star operation and plan to spread the word.

This place has gone down hill. My stepfather has had all his computers built here in the past. Last one 10 years ago. This time was hell. It took 7 trips to get things right. Oh wait nope are old computer now doesnt have windows on it. We just needed a data transfer to a new drive and pop it back in to a upgraded unit. Well we thought that was done. What happened to the hard drive. They forgot to put the new one in. The guy with the short guy with big glasses behind the counter. Seams to not give one care about your problems. Tells you lies. Until I finally let them know that am no dummy. Ive been putting computers together since highschool am now 42. And two years of unneeded college since I was telling the teachers how to do things a different easier way. There tone changed then. And the shock in there eyes was comical. Yes I could have built my stepfathers computer. But it would have no warranty. Buyer beware. This has no impact on the owner. Its hes staff that is the problem.
I took a laptop into them to tear apart after my son spilled soda on the keyboard and it got inside. Luckily I powered it off just in time, and could not get it to power back on. They took it apart and cleaned it, and told me it was probably done. I took it home and let it sit and dry out and stabilize for 2 months, and turned it on the other day, and it works fine! So the $75 fee for tear down and reassembly saved a $1700 laptop, well worth it. A+ Service from these guys, they know what they are doing.

I made an inquiry a week ago and had no response. I assume the answer was no it just would have been nice to get a call back on the matter. The store looks great inside and the staff was friendly.
I took my home built computer (didnt even buy the parts from them) by the shop after it quit working for them to run a diagnostic. After talking to the staff member, we decided it was either my main board failing or my power supply. To save me a wait and a diagnostic fee, he checked the power supply for me right then and there. Turns out that was the problem, and Im up and running again after a quick replacement. Great service and I highly recommend for repairs.
They were courteous. They had to reload my laptop and were able to keep my pictures and music on my laptop too and they explained everything to me carefully and it only costed me 105.00
I took my Mac-mini to the Apple Store and asked for help with software and security problems. The Apple Store said that I needed to make an appointment with the Genius Bar, and, the next available appointment was three weeks away. So, I left and drove to the Computer Exchange. Computer Exchange helped me right then and there. They are trustworthy and interested in helping. They know their stuff. The price was very reasonable for the amount of service given.

I went and purchased a few things from them all, all worked great but I noticed while i was there a guy was asking about virus removal and new security for windows. I could not believe the guy said 75$ for virus removal and 45$ for Norton anti virus which is not a good software for windows. So if you need parts at good prices thats the place to go if you need service done read a book and do it yourself before you drop your life savings on computer repair!!

The store seemed to have a good selection of modern computer hardware as well as older stuff that will get you nostalgic. They tried to upsell me on a tiny item, but I managed to find the item I was looking for. When I went to go buy it I just wanted to pay and be on my way, but their system requires your personal information and the prints out this Auto dealership quality inventory report. This seemed like overkill, but just chocked it up to the fact that they probably deal more with businesses. Either way it may not be a good policy to require the customer to be in the system before marking up a sale. Either way I found d what I came in for; it was a bit more expensive the Amazon, but still reasonable. I like to support computershops because I grew up in them.
Selection is very small and way overpriced. Hours too short for people with jobs. 2 stars, however, because it is the only non-chain computer store in the area that I have found.
