Ive never had such a wonderful, relaxing experience at a car dealership like I had at Apple Valley Toyota yesterday! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff members are very welcoming and friendly. My dad and I both drove out of there with a different car because of their great service. Austin Ray worked with us from start to finish! He was very professional, non-judgmental, and a very cool person to do business with. Not once did he say anything to me about debt, despite my below average credit score. The finance manager Garland See was also very nice to work with and do business with. He was very humorous and fun to work with. Overall, both of the gentlemen listed above as well as the rest of the staff members present in the building all displayed phenomenal professionalism and made the experience of buying a car very easy for my dad and I. Apple Valley Toyota is a great place to buy a car! The sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They let me set the pace and direction of our car buying process. They were firm and honest when it came to price and what I would get. No games, or flashy sales gimmicks were used. We were passing through on our way to Virginia when we discovered a bulge in our tire. We called Apple Valley Toyota since we found they were the closest dealer. They got us in as soon as we got there, took a look. They had the tire we needed and changed it. Josh told what we needed to know about the warranty and after a free wash, we were on our way! They had a new vehicle on their website I emailed and inquired about scheduling a test drive. A sales associate emailed back stating I could come anytime to test drive said vehicle. Before I made the HOUR drive there, I called ahead to make sure they could title in VA and then they asked me what time, what vehicle and who I was going to see. I have all of the information over the phone and was told they would tell the sales associate. I arrive and was seated at his desk and was told he was on the phone, 45 minutes later he sits down to help me. I sat for 45 minutes waiting with no one helping me. To then be told first that the vehicle was delivered to the wrong dealership, and to hold on and he went and talked to his manager. He then came back with a sheet of paper with a different vehicle on it, he sat down and told me that the vehicle I inquired about was SOLD MONTHS ago and that they in fact have NO models on the lot of what I was looking for and this one *he slides the paper* will be here soon and that’s what I’m looking at. I walked out. Are you kidding me?! So they just wasted 3 hours of my life when at any moment someone could’ve told me they don’t have ANY of the model I was looking for. It was on the website, I emailed and then I called. Nothing.
Had both of my toyotas in for service. Didnt take long for either vehicle. The service people there are the best. Very courteous nice and friendly. They are very knowledgeable. Would recommend Apple Valley to anyone whos looking to buy a new or used vehicle.
Stopped in for a quick oil change. Passed some time by walking around the car lot and fell in love with a 4Runner. The service was absolutely amazing!!! Jonathan was right there to answer all my questions and concerns. Very knowledgeable and honest! I walked out of there a few hours later with a brand new 2021 4Runner. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Jonathan! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle! Awesome experience!!
They had a car in stock (just came in) that we wanted to look at. Confirmed with salesperson around 1:30 pm that we would be coming at 4:30. We arrived at 4:35 and salesperson said they had just sold the car, that they were flying out of the lot after getting them in, and 14 people had come to look at car. If these things were true, why did he not ask us to put a deposit on the car (when we set up the appointment) before wasting an hour and a half of time driving back and forth from Winchester to see it? If we needed a deposit to hold the car so we could look at it, because they were flying out of the lot, then he should have said so initially - I wouldve put a deposit on it in that case. I understand there is a car shortage but since he made the appointment, we assumed that the car would at least be there to look at. I will not be purchasing a car from this dealership.
I stopped by to check out their inventory as I’m looking to purchase a vehicle but I noticed right away they have absolutely NO prices on any vehicle or the paperwork hanging up on either new or used vehicles. Meaning that the prices are going to vary drastically from person to person. Major red flag. I’ll take my business elsewhere.All I actually saw price wise were processing fees that ranged from $0 to $500.
I was looking to trade in my Ford ranger on something more economical. My sales rep Victoria was very helpful with helping me find a vehicle for my budget. She gave snacks and stalled my new purchase on the way to detail. 11/10 reccomend. Dope service! Overall had a pleasant experience. 🤙

Drove 2 hours to check out a vehicle here yesterday. I had three separate salesman tell me the vehicle I was interested in had the (optional) performance package. At the negotiation table, I asked for proof that this vehicle indeed had it. After my salesman dug around for 10 mins, he realized it indeed did not have this optional package. Then the manager offered me $4.5K below KBB rock bottom trade in value on my car (basically a brand new car with less than 6K miles). Apparently he thought I was a trust-fund baby who had more money than brains. Oh well. The salesman I dealt with was very kind.They were very fortunate I pressed for verification on the vehicle, because if I would have purchased the vehicle and found out it did not have the performance package, I likely would have filed a lawsuit. I have an email in which I clearly ask if the vehicle has the performance package that boosts the HP to 275. Response was That is correct. Clearly no one took the time to actually double check this was the case, especially considering I took 4 hours of driving out of my day to come look at this vehicle.

I had my 2014 Tacoma in for routine service that usually takes about 1 hour so I always wait. Found out it was time for front brakes to be serviced as the pads were originals with 88,000 miles. I didnt want to wait for this so Laurence arranged for the shuttle to take me home and pick me back up if I wanted. Cost was reasonable considering this is a Dealership, and service is always top notch. Now they even deliver your vehicle back to you right in the service lane without having to go looking for it outside in the parking lot. Paul the service mgr. will make sure you are 100% satisfied if there are ever any issues. Its not worth driving to Va. or Md. for Toyota service when you can have it done locally from the selling dealer. Oh, and when I purchased this vehicle, I got just as good of a deal and trade in on my old Tacoma as what the big city dealers offered.

I took my car in to their service department for an exhaust install. After tearing everything apart, they realized that they did not have all of the parts they needed on hand. You typically make sure that you have everything you need to start a job beforehand so this doesnt happen (Im a mechanical engineer myself), but mistakes happen, fair enough. Three days later, the part comes in, and work is completed. First thing I notice is that the alignment of the exhaust is comically off (definitely a lack of attention to detail, but fine, Ill take care of it myself later). I get in the car to drive, and find it very difficult to even put the car in gear now (transmission is in the rear of the car, I know immediately that something was done to the shift cable. It would also have been impossible for the technician to not notice before saying the car was good). I take it back in. Sure enough, they had damaged the cable during install (yet again, another attention to detail issue). Annoyed at this point, but okay, mistakes happen (usually not repeatedly, but fine). Another half a week wait for the new shift cable to come in (they were nice enough to fix their own mistake for no charge). I get the car back, and the exhaust now sounds horrible to the point of being undriveable, as well as throwing a check engine light for one of the AFM valves (had to explain to the service member what that valve is and does, even though it is commonly used in their exhaust systems). I take it back yet again. I speak to their service manager, Paul, and ask him to put my car back into its original condition so I can go elsewhere. Im still being polite at this point, but Paul proceeds to deflect all responsibility for any of the issues. The valve issue is currently being blamed on a defective valve (high-end after market exhaust that I supplied. Possibly, but I cant really take them at their word anymore. Especially considering that their technician didnt even know what this part was for in the first place. I will inspect that part myself, and repair it if needed). No justification for all of the other mistakes, just accusing me of throwing daggers at their service team. I try to explain to him that Im not being rude or confrontational, Im just stating the facts as they happened. Paul would not hear it though, just purely defensive. The current status is that they will get the work done eventually. Pretty appalling. I have no idea when the work will be done, and absolutely no confidence that even that much will be done correctly. Until then, I continue waiting. Lesson learned.
Our commercial pickup truck had a roofing screw in it prior to the service department closing today and Josh Nelson & his technician stayed after to repair it for us before traveling back out of town! Thank you so much for keeping Bug’N Out, LLC on the road!! Highly recommend!! Thank you again!
Took my 19 Camry here for a warranty issue. Cannot speak higher for Haroun..the service advisor and Brett the service tech...my issue was solved..I was communicated with without my prompt. Straight forward and done right. I should know..I am retired but worked in the car business for 30 years and I drove 25 miles when there is another Toyota dealer within 3 miles from my house. The mechanics that work there are absolutely ridiculous. I just bought my 2021 Chevy traverse and the clear coat is coming off and they said there is nothing they can do. I have taken this car and another car to the service department a couple of times and both cars I had to take back more then once because they couldn’t fix it the first or second time. Worthless service department.
Everyone is always so nice and helpful, but for some reason my truck sat in the parking lot after it was serviced for over 20 minutes. I saw it being parked and couldnt figure out why it wasnt just brought around to us.
Worst experience ever .. negative stars.. went there for a warranty repair, informed them of exactly what the issue was and i was called back saying it would not be covered and I owed a diagnostic fee for diagnosis of an issue I clearly stated. No issue was resolved customer service was a disgrace, not only for myself but other folks i spoke to leaving.. it felt as if they didnt have the time to deal with my questions and were short with me . was also told bolts just dont break what kind of service department says that??any thing mechanical can and will fail. 2nd time in 3 months my vehicle was there last time for a different issue that was found inconclusive to be told today i needed to adress that issue when it has been less than an oil change since it was last diagnosed by them.was told different techs see things differently that I understand but when an issue is bought in to be looked at it should be investigated throughly. Very unsatisfied from a long line of family members who dealt there. Will not be returning and will spread my experience to others. Also will be calling management to express my disatification . What happened to customer service... update Apple valley I appreciate you responding I sure hope things improve I will be calling the services manager to express my negative experience..I went to another dealership and had my work completed under warranty with no questions asked the dealership went the extra mile and provided great customer service its ashame I had to drive an hour down the road instead of my local dealer who my family has dealt with for years but at this point I wont be back I ended up spending almost 800 dollars on services and on additional items other than my original issue and I would have easily spent that money at Apple valley I understand 1 service may not be a lot of money missed but add that up over multiple years its a missed opertunityfor much more business in the future think about that..I hope your team can make improvements because customer service is everything and the customers money counts . again very disappointed in my local dearship.best wishes

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The computers were lagging. I wanted to check on a used 2012 gmc Acadia I would have been paying cash so I asked what the bottom number was it would have been 14gs regularly (tags, processing fee etc.) It also had a spill shield protection and something else that added up to a 1,000 so he took that off which made it 13,xxx they added a 1,000 on the price that i didnt ask for. He said we can take this off but it shouldnt be included they should offer it but not have it included in your total. Then when I told him I was paying cash he said cash wasnt really a big thing because when people finance through the bank they get there money regardless because the bank pays them. I made them an offer which was 3,000 less then there asking price he went to talk to someone about my offer and when he came back told me he had a 2007 Envoy for 7,000 that Hasnt been at the shop yet they just got it in he said he Didnt even have a picture of itTo show me on computer so he went and got for me so I could look at it. I felt insulted really. I was there at 6pm last night remind you and he said it wasnt ran through the shop yet so he Didnt no what was wrong with it and it wasnt on there inventory list . I get on cargurus this morning and its listed for 6,500 its 6:30 am and its at the same exact dealer ship with a donut tire and same marine sticker on the back. I wasnt going to write a review until I seen it on cargurus listed at 6,500 and also if it hasnt been through the shop yet and he (mark)pacifically told me they just got it in. Wouldnt recommend
Service department is terrible if could find one closer I’d switch! How do you take your car or suv in an one min got 8 brakes next time 5 next time back 8. Customer service should be 100 at all times especially when your ahead of car payments and make sure your services are complete in timely manner!

Let me start by saying as a long time Toyota owner it pains me to write this review. I recently took our 4Runner with 315K miles on to Apple Valley Toyota for a leaking rear axle seal. The only reason I am not fixing it myself is I just do not have time right now, so I know the process and what it needs. I spoke to Lawrence(spelling?) on the phone he said 2 hours labor and a $10 seal, sounds good lets do it. Wait, not so fast, get a call back with a quote for $1100+. He starts to list off the reasons and tells me the rotor needs to be replaced because oil got on it. That is when my spider sense went off, Its metal clean it with brake cleaner and put it back on. I can understand they want to replace the brake pads, but even that is not required, clean them and put the back on. Then he tells me the bearing cup on the axle needs to be disassembled. Why the bearing is not bad. Just remove the axle put a new seal in the housing and put it back together. They even quoted me a new snap ring, if you know about snap rings they dont need to be replaced unless you destroy them in removal, and with the tools they have there is no reason they should destroy the snap ring. Needless to say I told them not to do anything else to it. I will pay them the wasted $116 for diagnostic fees and either find the time to fix it myself or take it to a reputable shop.
Started going for the services, Larry is the best! The exellent customer service that i got from the serve service department lead the the purchase of 2 vehicles so far! Our salesperson Vaughn is as good as you can get with todays sales. The financial side is good, but typical. The good stuff is how the treat you after the sale! Service Department great and Vaughn will not forget who you are!
Purchased a new rav4 gentleman told me vehicle was all wheel drive only to come home and discover it was the standard 2 wheel drive, wouldnt allow a return or trade. Would not suggest doing business with this dealership. Very poor salesman, basically lied to make his commission.

My son needed a car so we had been to a local Nissan dealership in the morning and had a very bad experience. I told my son we would go to Apple Valley Toyota. I was annoyed at this point but then met Vaughn. Vaughn is very professional and knowledgeable but it goes beyond that. Vaughn had the best personality. My bad review is for the service department!! I have never had my car service here before so it was my 1st time at this shop. I called to make an appointment for my vehicle that had a check engine light on. I was told To drop it off on Wednesday at 8 oclock. When I arrived today i was told that I was not in the system.But the gentleman still took my car. He then took my information and told me they would call when it was ready. Around 4 oclock i decided to call them abt my car (almost 8 hrs later)! I was put on hold for a couple minutes, then was asked If someone called me from the shop . Which i didnt get a call .He then proceeded to tell me that due to them being behind they were not able to check my engine light on my car yet . So after 8 hours Of keeping my car and not checking my engine light on .I decided to pick up my car! My vehicle is my only transportation for me and my son. So for them to keep it 8 hours and not check it was disappointing .Not happy with ur service!

I just bought my 2nd vehicle from Apple Valley Toyota. 1st was a 2017 Chevy Malibu 2 years ago and today I just bought a 2011 Scion xB Release Series. Apple Valley is not your average car dealer. Absolutely love this place. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and answered any and all questions. The kid play space was awesome, clean and well kept. I wish I had gotten the name of the employee who saw a stressed out mom and made the kids laugh, made the day better. Will definitely be going back for all services.

Was impressed with their sales dept. Johnathan did a great job. But highly unsatisfied with their service dept. My truck had a check engine light on and they did own their mistake however they wont give rental vehicles. 8 mile walk to work 1 way. And its going to take them 3 days to fix a EGR Valve. Cmon guys get it together. Take pride in your customers

I was here to buy a used car and I had a good experience. No high pressure sales. Chris LeBorious was my salesman. I would use him again. I must say that they cleaned the car up beautifully before I left! They showed me all around and the service area, although I have not used it, was very clean. The sales floor was not glamorous, but was clean and comfortable. I was happy to see that they seemed to have put money into the business where needed, rather than supping up the looks and raising prices as a result.

My wife and I are very satisfied with the service at Apple Valley Toyota and specifically, David Boone. Very easy to talk to and a wealth of knowledge from 14 years being with the company. He worked with us to get the financing the way we wanted it. Everyone there are great! I wouldnt hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them.
We bought a new Toyota Tacoma truck last August and had such great service that we went back and bought a new Camry and Tundra tonight. The lady at the information desk (I feel bad that I cant remember her name now) was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Our salesman was Johnathan and he was amazing. He was friendly and professional and took the time us that was needed. Buying a car is a long process (buying two at once is a bit longer lol) and yet everything went smoothly and we are so happy with our new vehicles. I highly recommend Apple Valley Toyota and if you go there ask for Johnathan! You wont be sorry.
Service department is lacking professionalism and timely service.
I simply asked why their Tacomas start at mid 30k when all other Toyota dealerships start at the mid 20k and they blocked me from asking or commenting on their posts. If thats not the most shady stuff I have ever seen. There couldve been a legit answer but no delete my comment and then block me so nobody knows? Insane. I 100% would not reccomend such a shady place. Clearly they are scared or have something to hide. 10k+ is insane!
Get a written estimate!Ive taken my car here for service and maintenance twice. The first experience was very good. We got exactly the service we requested for the price that was quoted.The second time was a mixed experience.On the positive side, they did a great job performing only the needed repairs and told us a repair recommended by a different shop was not really needed.In the course of the repairs, the service team lost an engine compartment shield for my car. The service department provided a new shield at no charge and was very courteous. Mike in the parts department was especially great to work with.On the negative side, the price I was charged was $230 higher than the price quoted on the phone by Jensen. My husband picked up the car, and I found out about the overcharge as soon as he got home. I called immediately, but Jensen was gone for the day, and I was told shed call back. A week later, I called back and spoke to the assistant service department manager. She said Jensen had written down different amounts in our file than what I had been quoted, and since it had been paid a week prior, she wasnt sure what she could do. Jensen said she had not received my message from the day we picked up the car. I was told the service manager would review and get back to me. Never heard anything back. Unfortunately, I didnt get a written estimate, so I couldnt prove the quoted amounts, and the assistant manager politely suggested I didnt understand the quote Id received, though I had specifically asked Jensen about the full costs of parts and labor.Overall, the service here is good. However, Ill never work with Jensens team again, and Ill always make sure the quotes I receive are in writing. Conflict resolution on pricing issues is both abysmal and insulting. The parts department is fantastic.

After shopping all week the first place that gave me a fair trade in value and did not have a over priced processing fee right off the start. The vehicle was priced very fair. Didnt have to negotiate and waste my time to get a fair deal. Was very very pleased with my experience. John Allen was my sale rep and drove 45 minutes out of his way to my wifes work to sign papers to get the deal done so she did not have to go out of her way after work. That is great service in my book.
I started by emailing with Kaysi. She had an appointment set up for me so that when I arrived they already had the vehicle pulled up for me. Ben was my sales person and he helped me along the way. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Every one was extremely nice. Im coming back here to buy my next vehicle. Apple Valley for life.
From the beginning, I was treated extremely well! I had planned to go last week and became ill. When John Allen, the Internet sales person, heard that I was sick, he said he would have orange juice and chicken soup waiting for me. I thought that was figurative; however, when I arrived, he greeted me with a smile and asked if I wanted any orange juice!! He then introduced me to Jonathan Wilson, who assisted me in finding the RAV 4 best suited to me. I had to leave before we finalized my choice, and he took my vehicle mileage and agreed to work on an offer for me to consider the following morning. The dealership didnt have my favorite color in stock, and Jonathan searched all of the dealers in a 250 mile radius to find one. I was given a fair price for my trade, and I am impressed by the 2 year or 25,000 mile free oil change and tire rotation. I also chose to add a remote starter, and I was already called today to schedule the installation. I highly recommend that you go to Miller Apple Valley before you go anywhere else!

Purchased a 2014 Silverado this past Saturday from Apple Valley. Our experience was exceptional and our salesman Jackson was awesome! He was thorough and informative but not pushy like typical sale folks can be. We arrived without an appointment but Apple Valley was happy to fit us in between previously booked appointments. Ultimately we ended up purchasing and driving home that day! From test drive to financing everyone was very friendly and eager to help.
