George was a great salesperson. Knowledgeable, efficient, professional and engaging. Great guy.I also worked with Jeremy who was terrific. He understands customers and was a pleasure to deal with. The dealership is fortunate to have both of these gentlemen.
Great dealing with Opequon Motors, this was my second new vehicle, same sales person and from start to finish he made it an enjoyable experience. I’d recommend Opequon Motors and will definitely start here when I’m ready for another new vehicle.
Took my Buick here a couple weeks ago, it was covered by the Fords extended warranty. Car had a bad mass airflow sensor which was super easy fix. They billed my warranty company for half the cost and billed me the rest. They tried to blame it on my warranty company but after I spoke with Ford ESC they stated the company never even submitted the charges. I had $100 deductible and ended up paying over $200 plus they got me for a air filter that I did not need. I know its not that much money but the service manager yelled at me and told me he was not going to explain to me why they charged me the money and store manager never returned my call. Beware of this place for sure. They also told me that the diagnostic fee was for each issue I had so it would be a minimum of $118 for each item that I reported issues with. If they wanted to charge me an hour worth of diagnostics fees they could have diagnosed the mass flow sensor and my suspension light and then they would have legit got an hour worth of diagnostic fee. Instead I only let them do the mass air flow sensor because they scared me so bad with a diagnostic charges. Companies like this are why the warranty company goes off of the Mitchell labor rates.
I called several times regarding recall on my 2013 Terrain with only 64000 miles. They told me each time there wasnt one. I took it in to check battery & ask again about recall. I was told sorry thats is expired. I called Chevrolet. They too told me it was expired & but I could start claim. And if I had any paperwork I would need it to prove I inquired about recall. How do I prove phone calls. I am not paying a cent toward defect that Chevrolet knew about for years but refused to fix until class action lawsuits. When I talked to Chevrolet directly she also said there was recall for power steering. And once again Opequon Motors has never once mentioned it any of the times I was there. Both Chevrolet & Opequon motors has lost my business for life. And will tell everyone about my experience. Thanks to Massey Ford for restoring my faith in dealership
Everything went great with the dealership. Everything was as expected far as the buying process went. Was in and out quickly which was great since I had a 5-Hour drive back home. I wish the vehicle had not broke down on the way home but that does not reflect on the actual dealership. Thats on GMCs poor quality control.
The service department is top notch and very reasonable.
The new car I had had a bad engine. Drove 10 miles off the lot and back. They went above & beyond to make sure I left more than satisfied. Cant say enough positives about the staff; going the extra mile, courteous, friendly, helpful. I plan to go back to buy my daughter a vehicle.
Best experience buying a car we ever had. No gimmics. No pressure. Just a good deal on a great used car.
Staff was very friendly and informative. Service was done promptly
I Am A Continuing Customer Because They Are Very Friendly, Courteous And All Around Excellent To Deal With.
It was a very pleasant experience! I will go back again
They was very helpful and got me in my new car less than an hour
Great work & great service! Its almost always sticker shock when you need service but prices are decent too! They even went above & beyond in my opinion. I bought my vehicle 2nd hand & they even gave me print outs for it & such to help me further. I do see myself going here from now on.
I am familiar with this dealership as I previously worked for the owners many years ago. The business is clean and the facility is updated and new! A really nice place to do business in my opinion.
The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The service is completed in a very timely manner.
Very good. Great communication
Overall, Im happy with the service.
I called after some debris destroyed my rim they didnt have the part I needed as it was apparently discontinued but the very nice woman who answered the phone was very helpful in giving me a website where I was finnaly able to track it down amazing customer service
Erika and Sarah did outstanding jobs. Professional and efficient.
They did a great job and the price was reasonable for the amount of work they did. It did take much longer than anticipated and would have been better if I could have gotten a loaner vehicle for the 3 hours it took to service my vehicle
The customer service is AWFUL! My husband and I made arrangements for a sitter for our kids and made our way to the dealership after work to do a quick test drive and purchase. No one came out to greet us or even ask if we needed assistance. I had to go inside to ask for help and when I asked the manager for help, he responded very rudely, We only have one salesman her right not, hell get to you when he gets to you. I felt like we were such an inconvenience for them, BUT I knew the car I wanted and my husband and I were ready to make the purchase so we stayed and waited. After awhile the salesman came over and again we were made to feel like it was our fault he was the only one there and we were inconveniencing him by being there. We finally got the keys for a test drive, I feel in love with the vehicle and we wanted to buy it! BUT their system was down and our salesman complained the entire time at how awful their system was and there was nothing he could do that we had to come back the next day.. My husband and I took that as a sign that we were not supposed to buy the vehicle and we left. Im so glad we never gave them our business! On to a better dealership that is actually nice and helpful!
They are the worst dealership in the 4 State region.I will never go back to them!!#
The easiest car repair experience of my life was at Opequan Motors today. We moved here from Northern Virginia, where shops sometimes kept my car for a couple weeks and it was never less than $1000 pretty much no matter what was wrong.Today we made an appointment. I arrived right on time, pulled my car under the convenient covered parking area, went inside the shiny building. Super nice, knowledgeable girl helped me. They took my car in exactly on time, i waited just a few minutes (maybe 15) when they came out with a report and a price.I agreed, and next thing i knew as i waited in the cushy tv room, my car was ready and pulled up right outside. I paid & left!We are just so accustomed to dropping a car off the night before.. possibly hearing nothing for days.. spending a fortune.. this was such a wonderful experience!
Alway ready to service my vehicle at the scheduled time. Also get courtesy calls reminding me service is due.
Each experience in the last 8 years has been excellent. I have been completely satisfied with their service.
Fast service and quality work
Service was timely and efficient. Only negative: while signs were posted requiring masks, mechanics and service manager were observed w/o masks.
Wouldnt go anywhere else!!! From sales to service Opequon Motors is awesome!
Greg in the service department is top notch. He keep in contact with me through it all. Warranty was being a pain in the tail but he worked through it and fixed the truck right. I will come back as often as my vehicles need service and repairs.
Greg King and his service crew did a great job. Being broken down on the side of the road in a different state is a nightmare but Opequon were fantastic and got me back on the road in no time! Beautiful facilities and friendly staff. Fantastic experience, will definitely be returning.
Great people. Great service!
Just drove to this dealership to look at a GMC Denali Pickup, arrived around 4:45, knowing the place closed at 5 pm. We just wanted to see the interior of the truck because we had just taken one out in Hagerstown and really enjoyed the truck. No one came out to see if we needed help so I went inside, when I walked in 3 men looked at me but no one said a word. I finally asked if we could just have the truck unlocked when someone mumbled under their breath “we close at 5”. Needless to say we will not be buying a truck here. Terrible customer service.
Great service. Eric P. Always treats us great and so does the lady at the service desk.
Thats good
Always a pleasant experience at Opequon Motors.
Thank you for everything and working so well with us.
Super friendly, and helpful!!!
My vehicle was delivered to this dealership via tow approximately 1 month ago today. I was advised that one of my lifters was defective and was causing my check engine light to alert me. Long story short, it took a little over 3 weeks to have the parts installed in the vehicle allegedly due to a back order from GM’s recent strike ramifications. This service was a warranty claim so only GM parts would be covered and Installed. This put me at a great disadvantage because as a traveling nurse, I was stuck in a city without reliable transportation, I eventually had to pay for my rental vehicle for a few weeks and also was not offered a courtesy vehicle due to the inconvenience. Daily, I had to call in to check on the status of the vehicle/parts which I’m sure was greatly annoying however it was only due to the poor communication from the service/parts department. In a quest to find a solution, I contacted a GM dealership in Virginia where I was told that the parts were available. I facilitated a conversation between the parts managers and service managers to expedite the repair. I find it unfortunate that I had to do the leg work for my vehicle to be repaired and received no courteous compensation for it. In the nutshell, service should be paramount in any consumer/provider relationship, however, I failed to receive not only common courtesy, but exceptional service as well. Litigation seems to be my only option at this time but thanks for allowing me the platform to express my concerns.
Fast friendly and comfortable atmosphere
Every item that required service was performed professionally and was completed in a timely manner.
Always fast and helpful.
Good clean cars. Rip off artist. They use Patriot credit union. They tried to say i didnt have insurance and raised payment from $500 month to $788. I had insurance all along. They charged me $3245 for 1 month of insurance. Had to get lawyer. After 4 month they credited my account. Still waiting on registration for truck......shady wish i could return truck but that will destory my credit. The dealership was not helpful. Nightmare good luck
I bought a vehicle from Opequon in December of 2019. The saleswoman Erica was wonderful. She is the only reason this place gets two stars. Once I arrived back in my home state, I had to wait for my paperwork to get my car titles and the tags for my state. I received the paperwork right before Christmas. Once the holidays were over, I had some medical issues and work so I could not get to the DMV to get everything taken care of until the weekend before my temp tags expired. When I get to the title agency, I was made aware that the dealership did not give me all the appropriate paperwork. The title clerk called the dealership and was advised by the finance manager that they do have the paperwork, they just forgot it, and they could overnight it on Monday. All day Monday I called and spoke with Marci who told me she would overnight the document. Tuesday comes and I call to confirm the document was sent. Marci tells me she sent it two day mail.!!!! I was confused, so I politely asked to speak to a manager. Denise gets on the phone and I calmly explained my grievance with being told deceptive information. Denise begins screaming at me, interrupting me, she belittled me for not taking care of the issue sooner, then she hangs up on me. I have never been treated so terribly in my life. I have a ton of family in and around WV, and rest assured I will tell them to NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership. Apparently they have no oversight, and they can be as disrespectful, mean, or belittling as they feel is necessary with no excuse. I have tried to reach out to management, but I am getting the run around since apparently Marci has caller ID, as she told me yesterday so they are not answering my phone calls. Maybe this review will reach the right person, until then, I will continue to tell everyone I meet about this horrible experience.Danny Weng, the manager, did call me back and we spoke at length about the situation. He apologized and seemed genuinely concerned. I truly appreciate the fact that he listened and helped me obtain the information I needed.
I bought a brand new 2019 Yukon and a brand new 2018 3500 Denali from these people.$150,000 in sales and when I went to get the brake pads changed on my Denali, I had a another company do the brakes and then did up twisting the wires when putting the calipers back on and I took it to the dealership they explain to me what was going on and charged me $500 to fix it. the problem continued to happen and the truck kept pulling to the left and when I brought it back to them they would not stand by their diagnosis and wanted to charge me for a whole new brake system after they already diagnosed it and charged me $500. This is how they treat their customers, after theyve just spent $150,000 with them.they wouldnt even deduct the original $500 they charged me off the complete new brake system that they wanted to charge me for
Quickest deal ever, it took no time
Wonderful Experience. Friendly and efficient service from Devin, Cody & team. Were not pushy and went out of their way to help a difficult decision very easy. highly recommend this dealership as well as their sister property, Parsons Ford. Well done!
I think that the dealership, my sales manager, and the entire process was done professionally, without pressure, and with respect for the unusual circumstances we face.
Employees are friendly and helpful. Clean and quite waiting area during service of the vehicles and the shuttle van service is really nice so I dont miss too much time at work. The service on the vehicle is always done to our expectations with lower costs as estimated.
Very nice people an ur treed very good
I have been using opequon motors service team ever since I bought my new truck . I have always had great experience with the team fantastic job from everyone I will continue to use them
I accidentally went there a week before my appointment and they happily fit me in on a Saturday morning. I was there for a reasonable time, hanging out in their very nice customer lounge.
Very quick and pleasant to deal with
Since the waiting area is closed for customers waiting to have their vehicles serviced, it would be nice if this information was shared when appointments are scheduled. I did not appreciate standing outside on a cold windy day waiting for my car.
My truck is down for transmission work and I needed a vehicle quick. So with little preparation I went to Opequon Motors and met with Devin Dozier. He had some vehicles lined up in my requested price range and with no pressure or sense of urgency I chose a vehicle within a few picks. Doing the expected wait to find a bank, Devin was real personable and treated me like a friend chatting it up in a bar. Great salesman. Now moving on to the Finance Director, Jeremy Adkins. He is a straight down to earth guy. He had a great personality and even lowered my payment by working with the bank. Even though this is a GMC/Buick/Cadillac dealership and my next purchase will be a Corvette I might just come back for a Caddy!!!!
This is the last place I would want to buy a car from. They got me in on a deceivingly worded advertisement convincing me I won something but when I got there I found out it was just a ploy to get people in. Why would anyone sign a financial contract with someone who uses manipulative wording to advertise? I can only imagine the hidden fees they would trap me into if I did buy a car.
The rule still stands NEVER take your car here for an inspection complete rip off typical dealership games/ this is what they said was wrong:Front brake pads are (worn) and rotors (rusted)$486.77Rear rotors are rusted $315.65Right wheel hub has play $586.89Frontend alignment to correct uneven wear$614.18Exhaust manifold bolts broken $714.81Rear wiper blade arm missing 131.61So I take it to an ASE certified mechanic not for an inspection but to confirm there findings THE ONLY THING THAT WAS CORRECT FOR PASSING INSPECTION WAS FRONT BRAKE PADS ONLY. called the service manager to advise him of this and he hung up on me. So in conclusion Ive a purchased 4 cars from them in the past but never will again. I will make sure everyone I know does so as well.
I bought a 10 thousand dollar SUV from them less than 3 months ago I went In today to see if brakes needed fixed ..they told me front brakes looks shiny and great but back brakes are rusty and metal on metal so it would be close to 400 to replace.. I said there is no way in less than 3 months the back brakes should be metal on metal. They said its because i put high miles on the car. I said if thats the case why isnt the front brakes metal on metal in less than 3 months when the front does all the stopping... never again! Wasnt asking for free brakes but I sure in the hell aint paying almost 400 dollars either.. just lost a customer.
Stopped by today to look at a Buick. The gentleman that came out was very rude and seemed like he didnt want to help. Just told him I was looking but might have questions, his response was fine and walked away. Very unprofessional.
Awesome people. Awesome place. Exceptional place to buy a vehicle. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Had a great experience buying here from Pennsylvania.
Had to go here to get a key made when mine broke. They were super quick, helpful and relatively inexpensive.
Fay and efficient service as always...and my inspection sticker is straight....awesome
Great Service Department. They always do great work.
The guys at Opequon Motors were quick to diagnose my problems and explain everything to me. The price was reasonable and service was done in a timely manor. Im very pleased to do business with them!!
The service here is always excellent! Honest, fair, prompt, polite, and well done!
If you are looking for a good, clean, used car, with low mileage and great prices, then Opequon Motors is the place to shop! Their no-pressure sales representatives make shopping fun, easy and enjoyable. Give them a try, you wont be sorry!!
Great service in the service dept with Andy as always! Very friendly and efficient from check-in to check-out. Keep up the terrific job Opequon!!
Very friendly and efficient! Quick service! Highly recommend!
Im still over here scratching my head. How do you take your car to get a diagnostic and come out without a diagnostic because they cant figure out whats wrong with a car that they service??? Then when theyre not 100% sure try to tell you that your transmission is going bad which isnt the case because your transmission was already checked by 4 other service shops before you took it to them??? Hmmmmn these certified technicians might need to be recertified.
Very customer friendly and reasonably priced.
Excellent service. Well informed, friendly staff. Fixed air bag recall pomptly. This is the best place for sevice on your vehicle.
9/2/19Another great car buying experience with Opequon motors and Jeremy Adkins. They are professional, fair and a no bull dealership. No run around that is so often associated with car buying. A fair trade price the first time with no going back to the manager trying to get just another dollar. Treatment was excellent as always. Jeremy goes out of his way for my wife and I and it is appreciated very much.I was on the way home from work and the throttle body on my vehicle broke. I was barely able to limp my way at half power to the dealership. The service dept had already closed. I went inside and spoke toJeremy on the sales floor. I told him my problem and he directed my to what to do to drop my vehicle off. I mentioned that I didnt know what I was going to do to get home or get to work the next day without transportation and without being asked he supplied me with a vehicle to drive home and to work the next day. He didnt have to do that and I hadnt asked for that but he was thoughtful enough to do it anyway. I was very appreciative. The next morning I called about my vehicle. It was worked on first thing in the morning and was done by noon and I got it back quickly. Service such as this is a hard thing to come by. I have never had anything but top notch service and treatment here. I will always go back for vehicles and service.
Was quoted a little over $500. Asked for an aftermarket replacement part which cost $100 less than OEM. When I got the final bill it was still a little over $500. The service rep tried to explain it was due to labor. Labor was part of the original cost. So this was not a fair quote and should have been adjusted in the final price to reflect an aftermarket replacement.
My paper said 3 cherries gets me $1000 Walmart card, I get there an Im stuck having to qualify to buy new card then told I have to spin thier machine to see what I win, straight up false advertising. Just wrong when my paper said $1000 Walmart card
I brought my car here for an oil change and I was extremely satisfied with the very quick service and low price. This is the only shop that I will use for my routine maintenance.
Always a great experience!
If you wanted a good running car go here.
Was seen on time had oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Mechanic checked out wheel noise found no problems.Very happy service.
They did some recall work for me and were courteous friendly competent and quick.
Painless buying our suv. Walk out with suv and feeling like I have known the staff all my life. Very easy and to work with and very friendly.
I highly recommend Devon he did not hassle me and I would go back again
Theyre the BEST . Could have asked for a better team of people.
Extremely rude and discourteous customer service. Scheduled an appointment online for a service special that was denied because I did not have a nonexistent coupon that they said was required. After acknowledging that fact; the service manager proceeded in telling me that the part was not available. Then told me that they wouldnt perform the service without having my rotors turned - escalating the price of the special from $99 to over $300. After waiting and wasting over an hour and a half; decided to take my business elsewhere.
Fantastic great people no hassle
Great service!
Excellent people working there, take care of vehicle, never a problem.
In and out in a half hour
Awesome
Was a very welcoming dealership. Thank you Theresa and Erica for helping me with the selection of the new truck, the test drive and walking me thru all its buttons and options, thank you Sherry for your help in getting my old vehicles to the dealership and thank you Jeremy for getting me thru all that darn paperwork quickly and easily and with a wonderful attitude.
By far the best buying experience ive ever had in 23 years of buying cars. I found Opequon Motors by chance as i was after a very specific GMC Canyon that no northern dealers stock. (a quick call to corporate located the nearest one to me) As luck would have it, Devon took the call and turns out is incredibly helpful, nice, kind, and wonderful! We quickly coordinated the terms of an already fantastically priced vehicle. (id be remiss to not mention that Jeremy in finance was wonderful just as well!) Its too bad Opequon Motors is not my local GMC dealer, but thankfully you exist and stock the not so common vehicles!! thank you so very much for everything!
Excellent sales, very accommodating, we traveled over a hour and it was well worth it.
Very helpful in us buying a new car
Very clean and nice.
Every winner gets a 2 dollar bill when they have a promotional scratch and win. Everyone gets the hardsell too. Please dont be enticed to purchase what you cannot afford.
Bought my first car here years ago...my red Pontiac Sunfire.
It a small dealership they treat you like family
Great service in a timely manner.
Not a very good place to take your vehicle. The one guy Derek was very rude and acted like I was stupid. Had to keep taking my vehicle back because of things werent right just to be charged again.
Took car in for recall work, and had them check into a starting problem while there. They told me the starter was bad and quoted me the replacement fee. I drove it home and found the problem to be a loose wire caused by a missing nut. So I payed $95 for some one to say something was broken, without them looking at it...
It is great and so professional
No problems, all in all a very pleasant experience
