If you love Halloween, this place is for you! The food was delicious, the price was amazing and the fun witch/Halloween is fantastic! I got to make my own waffles, completely with different syrups and toppings. My fiancé got the biscuits and gravy and we each ordered coffee, for a little under $15. I will definitely be coming back!
All you can eat waffle bar for $6. Chocolate or vanilla waffle mix with many options for toppings. Kids loved it. Service was average. Had to ask several times for a few things. Atmosphere was fun and very clean. Would go again.
At atmosphere is welcoming, the owner is very personable. The place is still decorated for Halloween with graffiti on the walls. I asked about the graffiti and was told they’re too wild for paper! Love itThe owner did mention they’re relocating soon to the old Mexican restaurant off of Morgan street after first of the year (2020)The waffle and gravy is all you can eat for $5.In the new location they’re thinking about hanging canvases on the wall to capture the graffiti of their customers. Aka art from the community.No WiFi
I didnt know what to expect, but I was super excited. I was not disappointed at all! The Banana Bread waffle was amazing, the croissant for the sandwich was delightfully crispy and their loaded hasbrowns... so good. I will be back again and again to this very cute, very good place.

My friends and I visited this morning and the food was ok. The prices are very good, the server was friendly but seemed a bit new which didnt really matter, so overall the food was was ok, the servers are friendly, and its a good value...worth checking out.

The food was great! Only complaint i have is they need to update their hours online. Watched several people try to go in thinking they were open when they werent open. Says on the site their open 7am to 3pm but here it is Wednesday and theyre closed for the day at 1121am.

I had an omelet with meat. Love it. The hash browns are totally unique. They cook it in a waffle cooker so they are in the shape of a waffle. They add green peppers and onions and an egg to make it fluffy. I had the biscuits. The biscuits are cook in a waffle cooker and gives the top of the biscuit a wonderful flavor. The service was perfect. This was our first time here. I am so looking forward to a second time soon.

It was alright, last time I went it was in a different place. But I liked it, its a bit pricey for me, but I dont eat out often enough. I work a night, but from what I remember it didnt break the bank. Food was good, customer service was good, treated well, got food in a decent amount of time. Went with a friend I dont remember how much it was, but it was a nice place for breakfast and lunch.

Sat. January, 16th, 2021The reason we came, was because of how good the reviews were on here.Our party was myself and 2 others. As a group we ordered 2 cheeseburgers, a pizzawhich, a grilled cheese each (3 total), and an order of waffle fries each.We waited about 45 minutes to get our food. Our waitress came over probably 7 times, over the course of that time, and kept telling us the food was almost done. After a half hour of being told that and closing time approaching, we were getting pretty irritated. Once the food started coming out, it wasnt even warm. The pizzawhich was supposed to be on texas toast, but it came out on croissant squares, which was like eating pizza toppings on crackers. I didnt say anything, because once we got our food we had about 10 minutes to eat, and there was nowhere near enough time for them to remake it since it took 45 minutes to begin with. The grilled cheese sandwiches were okay, but I usually prefer mine to be at least warm. Waffle fries were hard and cold. We definitely wont be back.The only reason Im giving two stars instead of one is because the food was cheap...

It is different in a great way. I liked the sandwich with waffles as buns. It was great actually. My only thought now is maybe to ask for them to be a little harder so I could hold like sandwich. I ate mine with a fork. Employees were pleasant. The decorations inside were definitely Halloween themed but it is called the Waffle Witch. So I assume they are up all year long. I will likely visit again since I come through once per month.
The Cobb salad was very tasty and large enough to be filling. The atmosphere was a nice touch of whimsy. The server was attentive but not obtrusive. Ive had a good experience both times Ive been there.
I had never had biscuits made into waffles before. They were amazing and made the biscuits and gravy very filling and added a unique taste. We barely finished one plate let alone two or more even though it was all we could eat.
The loaded hash browns were delicious and they cook it on the waffle iron so it looks like a waffle. It was crispy and delicious. The banana bread waffle I had was also delicious. Huge waffle I could only eat half of it with the loaded hash browns and eggs.

This is the place to get yummy food! Everything I have had is delicious. It may take a bit for the food to come out only for the fact its fresh. The deserts are to die for also!! They deliver too so give them a try you wont be disappointed

Stopped in just to see what it was like, the owner was very friendly and took time to answer all my QUESTIONS. I ordered a hamburger and cookie dough pastry. The food was great. I will be going back. Delicious! Nice to eat a real hamburger not a frozen one.
The Pepsi and Coke was warm straight from the can out of the box. They were getting the ice out of a bag of ice in a cooler on the floor. Not sanitary.... Need to invest in a soda dispenser and ice machine The waffle fries were not cooked all the way. Staff not professional sitting in the booth on their phone.
We have been there 12 times including today and have NEVER had a bad experience. Staff is super friendly, food is always hot and delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal at a small town place with a unique atmosphere.

Prices are low for the quality and quantity you will not leave hungry or broke. If you are in Martinsville this is a stop you need to make. Kid friendly also you can get biscuits and gravy all day.
Just tried this place for the very first time and I cant wait to go back! I got the naughty witch, with cranberries & pecans cooked into it, my mother got the pizza witch and we got the waffle and gravy. The gravy stands on its own... Its the kind your mom used to make.. thick and hearty. The naughty which was a decadent treat its sweet, but not overbearing. The waffles are made with a croissant dough so there very light and crispy and after traveling 20 minutes to home they were still light and crispy I expected them to be soggy from the toppings. The prices are exceptionally fair and their childrens portions are large enough to feed adults. I will definitely be going here again ......and again and again and again
Their food is very good. They have these waffle fries with I think steak on them, and it is very good. They also have good dessert. I would go there again.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere. The witch theme is pretty neat. Everything is made with a waffle iron or panini press, and it makes for some interesting dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting town.

Waited months to try it since they where closed a lot. Food was not that great. I was very disappointed. I had a club sandwich and it tasted like cheap lunch packaged meat with save a lot cheese. Potato soup tasted like it came from a can not homemade. Cheeseburger was not that great. I hope they move and get better food.
Great local addition to Martinsville! Breakfast and lunch options with a waffle twist. Location is quiet in a neighborhood setting with indoor seating and a couple outdoor tables. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. This is a new brunch favorite!

Its an unprofessional atmosphere between the staff, as they casually chat about stuff that isnt the most appropriate for their social roles. The food was great though, and I love that just about everything was cooked in waffle makers! Over medium eggs, potatoes, croissants, all waffle shaped. Very cool! The only thing that troubled my visit was that they spelled one item with the word carmel. I think was intended to be caramel, but perhaps it was supposed to be a nod toward the city of Carmel, in which case, they should make that point more explicit.
This is a fun little shop in Martinsville. Definitely a place you must try. Everything almost everything is made in a waffle iron. So fun and delicious!

Horrible service. Asked for a cup of tea, was given a quart size tea bag for single cup. Waitress, piled silverware and 1 napkin on edge of table for 2 people. My husband received his food and was almost finished before I received mine.. Employees all dressed sloppily. One young woman, was wearing a tshirt that was dirty and old wearing a cap backwards. Very unprofessional. Food was great, unfortunately the staffs lack of professional services will be the downfall for this business.

Service was very slow, they couldnt accommodate my food allergy. The other four people with me all orders were wrong not even close. Didnt even offer to fix it. No, one could eat anything. Still got stuck paying half of the bill. Will not be going back.we did however see people just walk out because service was so bad. They did not recieve one star for the allergy issue. The people who left were seated got thier water then nothing else. the food that came to the table was not even offered to be fixed, could not be eaten. one was odrer as a veggie only it was all meat and veggie, the person who ordered it does not eat meat and they ordered a waffle with never showed up. the other person ordered ham and cheese, they got ham and onoin no cheese. they do not eat any kind of veggie. If you call not paying for things that could not be eaten a discount. The place was not full when we came in, one tale was finished, one talbe just ordered, was not full until we left. Maybe the food we got would have been right if it was prepared when we ordered. the table behind us got the wrong food too. So maybe if the owner was helping his staff instead of talking, thats great he likes to talk but not when staff needs help. I only like to write good reveiws. This place was so bad and wrecked my day. It was mine and my grandsons birthday, I picked the place. I had to add more to my review because of the owners respone, he lied about fixing things, thought the one star was for the allergy, and he lied about the discount. Before the respone we may have given them another chance if he would have just said sorry, lying to excuse what had happen.
