Order butter pecan hard ice cream cone. The first cone they gave me had some other type of ice cream in the butter pecan ice cream. So I returned it and the server did it again. Bought that back and I asked for a chocolate shake. Well they use chocolate ice cream for it. They need to ask what type of ice cream to use. Normally store use vanilla ice cream.

You need to have more people working. I was standing in line for over 10 minutes, the group of 6 in front of me never got their order taken, 1 ice cream went out to a group of 8 sitting down, not one single car moved in the drive thru lane. I used to like this place, but it’s no good if you can’t get your ice cream.

Definitely a little bit of a wait but thats to be expected. We had a chocolate malt and the hot fudge brownie sundae. Very very good and worth the wait. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful when we had to ask questions. When we pass through town again this place makes our list of favorites.

Every time we come here the employees ALWAYS HELP drive thru before they help the customers at the window. Was here for a WHOLE HOUR before we was helped! They close at 9pm and it was well after 9 by the time we our order was taken

Since we no longer have dairy queen, they are so busy they cant help drive ups as well as they should. We were there today, it took over an hour to get waited on. The food is fine, they are just flooded with customers.

Pretty good place to go on a hot day in the summer to grab a cold treat. And maybe more importantly the only place to grab a Sunday in Martinsville. The wait is a little on the long side and parking can a little tricky to manuver.

Slow, slow, slow. 3 cars and 2 walk-up customers in 25 minutes.Ordered 2 flurries, a reeces cup and mounds.A boy finally brought the reeces cup and walked away.A few minutes later, a gal came out to say, Actually., were out of coconut.So I asked for a reeces cup. Another 7 minutes. No sorry, thanks or anything.Lastly, no napkins and the cup was overflowing topping. What a messI love that you employ youth. But they MUST HAVE TRAINING AND MANNERS.

20 minutes in line and got the puniest two dip cone I’ve ever had in my life with two flavors that I really didn’t want because you guys were out of the first two flavors. Guess I’m going to Dairy Queen next time.

Terrible service. Me and my son just drove 28 minutes to get ice cream. I stood at the window for 16 minutes and not 1 person help me. I counted 8 cars that pulled in and received there food and left while I was standing there. They will never get another dollar from me after I wasted 1 hr and 15 minutes on this. They dont even deserve the 1 star I have to give for leaving a comment.

Usually good but not tonight. Ordered a chocolate milk shake. Hand dipped not soft serve. They made it first with chocolate soft serve adding chocolate syrup. It was dark bitter. I took it to the window. I was made a soft serve shake again with so little chocolate you couldn’t taste it. I’ve had a lot of shakes there. These were nothing like I’ve gotten before. All I got was excuses the first time I took it back. I just threw the second one away and left. It’s pretty pathetic an ice cream shop cannot make a simple hand dipped chocolate shake.

Its our towns very own ice cream shop! Whats not to love? They have a flavor of the month which is fun and a good incentive to come back to try the special flavors before they run out. Its all outdoor seating, but my family and I usually order in the drive through and go for a nice summer evening drive while we enjoy our ice cream. Its a wonderful family spot that has given us some good memories.

I have been coming to this ice cream stand since I was about 11 or 12. It is a Martinsville landmark and a favorite for softball/baseball teams! 😊 My teams came here after winning games and I got to watch my daughters T-Ball team get ice cream here after their game. Nearly everything I have ever had here is great, except the strawberry milkshakes. But, if youre a strawberry syrup lover, youll love it!

Best ice cream in town hands down! I take my kids at least once every summer while the scoop is open for the season. If you decide to visit make sure the weather is nice because this is a walk up ice cream establishment with picnic table seating outside. As a local I recommend you try this place, we prefer it to the more well known ice cream fast food chain in town. Inside scoop sells more than ice cream as well. Drive-thru✔, bathrooms❌.

Ritters prices with party pail and hardshell quality.The kids enjoy the superman ice cream,the turtle sundae is the worst one I remember having anywhere. Made my order and paid, then started considering the prices & it was about $2 higher than it should have been for a double dip & sundae. Asked them about it & he stated That is a really old menu. I had taken a long hiatis due to keto diet, they used to be really good but no more. I wont be back, Brainchillz will be my ice cream shop of choice.

We ordered 2 scoops of hand dipped cones and there was a lady that took our order and came back out stating she didnt work often enough to know but was told she had used the wrong cone for our order and handed us miniature cones with what looked like a half of scoop of icecream, and when I got home I had been charged 7.59 for our order! We had been there many times prior and always got generous portion for a two scoop. We felt so cheated and shouldve addressed the issue then but she shut the window before we could say anything and had to move on as a line had formed behind us.

Very quaint little ice cream stand. They definitely dont bother spending money on updating or remodeling but thats probably why they are cheaper than most other places. We got ice cream for a family if 4 for only $12! Excellent tasting ice cream and wide selection! Customer service is decent. Last time my daughter was admiring the tub of gummy worms and they gave her a kids cup of them for free :)

It’s good ice cream but good luck getting in. Drive through is always full which is 5 cars. Most people refuse to pull forward when car in front of them leaves. Someone’s rear end of car is always sticking out into road too. It’s also such a tight squeeze in parking area. Most of the time we drive by, see the 5 cars in line, and just forget about getting ice cream.

My husband and I have been coming here for years, as the ice cream is pretty good. The service has always been a little slow, but this year it is terrible. Yesterday was the 3rd time this summer I waited in line but ended up leaving without placing an order because the drive-thru lane never moved or my order was never taken at the window. My husband refuses to go here anymore because he says it’s not worth waiting 25 minutes for ice cream. So I have been coming solo since June.

Out of most things on their menu. Asked for a mocha cappuccino float, which is on their menu. Lady just stared at me and said they dont have that.

Im giving 5 stars for creativity. I ordered a jumbo malt and a large fudge shake. When I received my drinks there was no issues. After about 10 to 15 mins I looked at my shirt and lap and noticed my malt was leaking everywhere. I flipped over the cup and noticed that there was strategically placed cookie dough plugging a hole in my cup. The young man who served me should be an engineer. Im not angry as that was creative. Next time a second cup doesnt break the bank.

Chix salad sandwich was pretty yummy, but my Lays BBQ chips in a SEALED bag were Very STALE. 😳 Strange, since it was sealed... but maybe yall mite check another bag or 2 to see if it was a bad batch or if mine was just a fluke...which Im sure DOES happen. PS. The kids working inside & out seem to be doing a really great job.👍

I initially gave this place 5 stars because I love their soft serve ice cream and Whopper flurry. But half the time I go there they are out of the Whopper mix.

I ventured this place and wasnt expecting much, just ice cream. I ordered a cookie dough flurry and OMG!!! AMAZING!!! It was PACKED with cookie dough and although I planned on saving some for home, I ended up eating the entire large there on my lunch break!!! FANTASTIC
