I checked in 20 minutes early for my 3:00p. I was greeted and checked in. Very easy process. The technician was ready for me right on time, he explain what they will do and gave me a time frame how long the work would takeThey got it done way faster than expected though! Rolling out at 3:45 but thats because they had an extra set of hands in the shop, which was really nice!The pictures of the new windshield. Looks great, clean and they moved over all my stickers. They even rewired one of the cables to my dash cam back in place for me! Which was nice.Easy and fast service. Painless experience5/5 would come again

I had a small chip in my windshield. I was told by safelite it would be a simple easy fix. When the technician was finished the chip had become a 3” crack in my windshield. I questioned whether the crack was truly fixed and asked if I should be concerned. The technician was rude and blew me off. Here we are 6 months later and that simple chip which was ‘fixed’ is now a crack spreading across my entire windshield. They took no responsibility and wanted me to get my entire windshield replaced with them. I refuse to give them another dollar. Horrible service and they did a terrible job. I will never take another car here again.

My car was broken into. I scheduled the soonest available appointment which was one week out. When I arrived at my appointment I was told they didnt have the necessary part to fix the window. It would have been nice if they would have called to tell me that so I didnt have to waste my time showing up there at 8 AM on a Monday morning. Its been two days and I have not heard back from them. The worst part is I cant even call them to check to see if the part is arrived (their voice operating system gives you the run around and you cant talk to an actual person). Pretty terrible experience so far.

I set up an appointment using their website. Picked a date and time and no one every showed up to do the repair. Very disappointing.

They came out to repair my windshield and made it worse. They scheduled a replacement appointment on the spot, but when I showed up they had cancelled it and told me someone should have callled you. They said the replacment windshield wasnt in yet, and theyd call me in the next few days when it arrived. I called them a week later after not hearing from them and they said theyd check if it arrived and call me back. They never called back, and I finally went elsewhere to get my glass fixed. All in all, I gave them 4 chances over the course of 4 weeks before giving up on them.

I have had a horrible experience with this company. i have been through 3 techs. 2 of which drive all they way to my house/ work to tell me they dont have the windshield for my car and for the 3rd tech to take the windshield out of my car while the 4th tech is bringing him the correct windshield. Then come to find out the correct windshield had to be special ordered from Chicago Missouri. They took my old windshield out of my car and put it back in my car more busted up and broken then it was before. I am so frustrated and mad. I talked to the shop manager at safe lite and he was not friendly at all and did not want to help me or make the situation right. All he could offer for me was $30 windshield wipers for my car and told he could do anything for my insurance deductible because I wasnt paying anything. Now I have to wait till Thursday to get a new windshield put in my car if they ordered the correct one.

Ive done buisnesses with safelite twice now. Both times I had a good experience. You get what you pay for. They clean your car which, when combined with the new windshield and a car wash either before or after, will make your car look great again. Very pleased with their work. The only thing I wish would change is the fact that if you call them you cannot speak to an actual person. The only time you can is when they call you regarding the appointment you made.

Had my car broken into and my passenger side front window smashed recently. Went to Safelite not really knowing what to expect as far as quality of service, and was very much pleasantly surprised. Caleb, my service tech, did an amazing job of not only replacing my window quickly and with zero issues, but my car was also returned to me with all of the broken glass vacuumed up, which I wasnt expecting. Highly recommend to anyone who needs auto glass work! I hope I never need to visit them again but will be happy to in the event that I need them again.

Arrive at 7:50 appointment was at 8 the service technician came out at 8 explained the procedure to me and said it would be about 45 minutes the truck was in done in about 30 minutes or less walk me back out to the truck explained and ask if I had any questions and I was on my way back home

They do a lot of things right. Communication is great and individuals seem to be well trained.

I came in with not chips, 2 chunks, taken out of my windshield on my brand new car. Not only did they get me in on the same day, they repaired it 100x better than I was expecting. I can barely tell there was an issue at all. The technician was very personable and even vacuumed my floor boards!

I came in on a Saturday morning to get a crack in my windshield repaired. The whole experience took around 30-40 minutes. The technician explained what the repair would intel and answered any questions that I had. I was pleased with the overall experience but I am somewhat disappointed to find that it looks as if the crack is started to spread again less than a week after the repair. I dont know if it is something I did while driving or something wrong with the repair itself.

Communication/direction is unclear. The tool used to order my glass wasnt great because apparently, there are 6 different types of windows for my truck. I ordered the wrong one...thankfully I was aware enough to take a 2nd look at the order and call to make the adjustment. Then, the email states to follow directions when you arrive for drop and go. Yet, there were no directions....just a box that said night drop. This was confusing as it wasnt night and there were no other directions. I dropped my key in anyways. Then as I sat waiting for my ride, I noticed numerous people walking Inside, when the email stated they were only doing g drop and go. So now I was a little paranoid that my key wouldnt be found and my truck would not get done. I called them. We worked it all out...but, communication could be ironed out some. The email I received also stated, this would be an, all day service. Im thinking I needed to rent a vehicle as I wouldnt be able to pickup until the following day. So I did. Then relieved an email and call, after 6 hours, that they were complete. So I spent a couple hundred dollars on a rental, when I could have used an Uber for $25/$30. Again, better communication. At the end of the day, when I picked up my truck....I used my debit card online to pay for my window...but the email showed I paid $0. Again....confusing. I walked in and asked for clarification, the woman practically yelled that my card was declined, and with what felt like indignity. I know there is more than enough money in that account so that wasnt the issue. She continues on about how my bank may have declined due to the amount exceeding $1000. Thats better as far as my comfort level....but still. Slightly embarrassing. I paid with alternative methods and went about my day. Overall, terrible communication(electronic and otherwise), also, teach your desk personnel some couth, in regards to declined charges and transactions in general....I wouldnt want to announce that I dropped +$1000 on a transaction, the same as I dont want to announce i may be declined....having the money or not. It isnt a good feeling.Good job with the window though.

It took safelites mechanics three attempts to replace my windshield and they had multiple difficulties each time. Each day they agreed to work on my car, they texted me trying to change the agreed upon time around, which would not work due to my circumstances. Multiple times we had to reschedule because they couldnt make it on time. Once they finally got to my car on time, their replacement windshield was not sealed correctly (missing a line of sealent across the top accorning to a different mechanic). I had a different safelite mechanic come out to fix the problem, again had to reschedule because he couldnt make it on time. He wrongly assured me that the windshield was fine, and did nothing but leave some tools and some scratches in my front seat. Finally, I had a third mechanic come out that actually managed to make it by the agreed upon time, the first time. He found that my first mechanic neglected an entire line of sealent and continued to replace the windshield with a brand new one, sealed correctly. This process took over two weeks and was nowhere close to the convenience that they promise. I wouldnt trust safelites mechanics to work on my car in the future.

The service was quick, efficient, and effective, from making the appointment online, to the followup texts Safelite sent to me, to the actual windshield replacement we had done. This was the place our USAA insurance recommended because Safelite could not only replace the windshield on our Subaru, but they could do the also-required recalibration of the Subaru sensors. The job was completed faster than wed expected, too!

This company does not offer any type of 30-day or six-month warranty after glass has been installed. Had glass installed on December 13th. Call Dan because I had another ping in my window by January 3rd. Safelite said they do not cover glass once it is replaced. Do not use this company. If anything happens to the glass once they put it in there is nothing they will do for you. No warranty on glass once installed.

The technician sent a text at 12:54 today telling me he was on his way, map said he was 17 minutes away. after crazy tries to get in touch with a customer service employee - they assured me the tech was on his way at almost 3pm. Tech calls at 3:45 and lets me know that he requested help for his last job of the day and they couldnt meet my needs. Problem: I trusted Safelite to come to me and I blocked out half a day to see that I accommodate them and they never showed up. I manage a medium business and pushed my schedule to make sure I was here for them and this is the return? No, man. we good. Peddle your goods somewhere else. I cant even get a live person on the phone to help me due to COVID? Thats what the message says anyway. Have a nice day and you wont be screwing me out ov any more of my money sitting around waiting on you !

I’m very annoyed at the service I received. I was planning on an appointment and then when I called to ask a question, I found out that my appointment had been moved without my knowledge. I had already moved things around and made plans to get a ride home after dropping off the car.I’ve had good luck with Safelite in the past, but this experience left me questioning if I ever want to work with them again.

This is a very bad moment. I had one of the techs come out on Jan 5th 2021 to stop a small spot in my windshield from spreading. He told me that the 5 or 10 min job he did was all i needed. He said the stuff he put inside the spot would seal it. And keep it from spreading, he also said that the spot would eventually disappear some..but I will still see it when the sun hits it. I was happy with that and paid 138.00. Well it was February 21st and I know have a long crack across my windshield. Its very near my view and im sure it can been seen while driving. Im not happy with this because Im terrified of being pulled over by local police. I spoke with someone online that basically said Shyt Happens and theyll take the price I paid off a new windshield. So basically Ill have to spend money I dont have on a new windshield because their products arent strong enough to work through winter months. STOP GUARANTEEING CHEAP PRODUCTS. Your hurting your customers!

Based on other reviews, the first thing I tried was the wipers,(flawless). I cant speak about wind noise because my door seals are bad (altho I would notice if it had gotten worse), but the windshield looks to be square with the body lines and no leaks. And it was about 25$ cheaper than the quoted price, I dont know if this was coincidence or because my headliner and side mouldings were removed already; I was resurfacing my headliner and figured Id leave it all out until after the new windshield was installed. I used drop off service.

Windshield was replaced on my car just before it was sold to me. Within 2 years the glass had slid down and caused water to leak in from the top. I had the receipt from the previous owners, so contacted Safelite to see about a warranty repair. Since Im not the original owner, the warranty is not valid and I would have to pay full price to have it repaired.Quality of their work was not enough to last just over 2 years and I found another company that was 25% less than Safelites cost, so will not be doing future business with Safelite.

I’m completely happy with the service! A big rock hit my windshield on Friday, and they came out Monday and got it fixed up! My appointment was between 12-5, and Jeffrey came a little after 12 (perfect because it was my lunch break!). I felt terrible because it was raining, but he was nice and professional the whole time. The job was quick and thorough. I can’t say I want my glass to break again, but if it ever does I’m calling these guys again :) plus the warrantee is nice.

My friend and I, in addition to her dog, were on a road trip from Ohio to California. While in MO, the drivers side rear window fell into the door, and of course it was freezing and snowing out. I located the closest Safelite and we just showed up without an appointment. They were super friendly, got us right into a bay, Offered us coffee and snacks, as well as gave our furry friend a treat and lots of love!! The best part, they didnt charge us anything to professionally crash wrap the window to keep out the elements and cold air. We arrived in California with the plastic still in place!!

I came in for my appointment on 9/14 for an afternoon appointment and the lady at the front was on the phone so I singed in. She got off the phone and didn’t acknowledge that I had just walked in. Someone else walked in and she greeted them and took they keys, then someone else walked in and she spoke n ok they keys so I got up and was like yea I been here for my appointment and she goes oh sorry let me get your keys. So two people went before me because she was rude and didn’t greet me as a paying customer and I waited longer time. My actual window service was great and the men was very polite and quick with service, just the front desk girl was rude and made me sit there longer for my service when I had a scheduled appointment time.

Great place! i was in and out in under an hour. receptionist was sweet, polite, and quick.. the technician Justin was informative, quick, professional, and did a great job. they even vacuumed my front floor boards and cleaned the outside of all my windows... i would recommend them and the tech Justin 100%!

Austin did a great job on my Explorer. had a chip that was relatively small, but it had started to crack (probably about an inch wide). Service was friendly and fast. 45 minutes later its fixed and I dont have to worry about it spreading further. I would 100% go again if I had a chip to save myself from having to replace the windshield down the road.

I stopped by to get a quote. They were able to get me right in for a replacement windshield. The office employees were really nice and fun. The tech was amazing and took his time explaining the process. The lobby was clean and had great coffee, tea, and water for us while we waited.

Came in since I was in the area and needed my windshield repaired before STL winter, the customer service was wonderful and Sara (Sarah) greeted me with a warm smile. One of their techs and I chatted for a bit after the initial inspection and they were able to squeeze me into their morning schedule.

The service was easy to schedule and my technician kept my updated on his location for the mobile repair. My technician, Dwayne was very friendly and quick. Overall, a great experience!

Had a decent chip on front windshield. Employee surveying the damage insisted it looked like tree sap. Proceeded to scratch the piss out of a 1” x 1” area with some keys he pulled from his pocket.Filled the chipped glass fine. Just have to deal with the wonderful scratches in proximity to my line of sight.

While its unfortunate that it took 30 minutes in the waiting room after my appointment started before they took my keys, this place is awesome. A customer was on his laptop & looked uncomfortable with it resting on his knees. An employee came from the back and brought him a fold out table to use. It was an awesome random act of kindness!

Be careful of the warranty/guarantee. I had a tiny chip that had been there for years without change. They encouraged me to have it filled when I was there for my other vehicle. Within 2 weeks the chips that they filled has turned into a crack that is now spreading across my windshield. Fixing this is not covered. They will give me my money back for the filling the crack, but the issue is worse with no resolution.

I highly recommend these folks. I’ve used them for repairs (chips in windshield) and replacement. I ran into a small issue on my intermittent wipers and they sent a tech out. When he couldn’t solve it we set an appointment and Austin figured it out. A blown fuse. Not their issue but they still repaired it for me. I bought a new car not even a week ago. It had a couple of stars in the windshield, which the dealer set up an appointment to get it replaced. Now, thanks to Safelite, I no longer have a new car. I have black glue fingerprints all over my upholstery. My windshield wipers no longer function properly. My trim inside my vehicle is out of place, and the fabric on the ceiling is now out of place and hanging in the front. Because of Safelite. My new car is now destroyed.

This is my second repair my first technician didnt put the MOLDING IN IN OCTOBER 2019. HE CALLED ME TO ASK & I DIDNT KNOW what parts come with fixing a window. THEN in March 2020, we get same technician he tell 2# of my family members he didnt put (molding) it in and it wasnt there on 2nd break. But Safelite doesnt offer any warranty because they think 2nd break was different. Then arrived in person 10 min late after being late Still had to reschedule.

I cannot say enough what terrible service I received.- 4 visits were required to this location due to lack of quality control. First windshield was scratched, then the scratch was not repaired correctly, then the third windshield was distorted.- Lack of promised communication from all levels, including management. Good luck trying to call them directly, youll be forwarded to a corporate number.Never again.

I had a rock chip from my commute that immediately traveled 6 inches across my windshield. My insurance company set up an appointment at my office to have the polite tech to fix it right in the parking lot. Definitely would recommend.

I came in for a simple fix to a rock chip. The technician explained to me that it ran on him when he brought the car out after with a 3 inch crack in it that has now become a 3 FOOT crack. I am calling today to offer the owner a chance to make this right and will update this rating only after.

Fast service. I had a nick in my windshield repaired. My husband and I thought it would be fixed; however it is only filled so you can still see the nick. All in all the service was good just be sure to ask questions so you are aware of the service and expected repairs.

This place is completely bogus with their lifetime warranty. All it covers is manufacturing or installation defects, which must be reported in 30 days. So really, its a limited warranty of 30 days. I paid handsomely for a new windshield, its chipped barely 2 weeks on (with no way to prove its a manufacturing default), and they want an additional $100+ for a repair, which is roughly %60 over another local business. Ive chosen to take my business for the repair and in the future elsewhere. Other people give better or at least equal warranties for less money.
