This was my second occasion to visit this Schnucks. I was able to locate all the items that l needed. Lots of selection on organic items

Great to see such a clean and well stocked store. Staff was cleaning and restocking shelves when I arrived. Store looks like it opened yesterday as the companies flagship store. Obviously a well managed and staffed operation.

Always clean, well stocked, and properly staffed. Im especially impressed with the staffing due to the pandemic. Never had to wait too long to checkout.

I just called the bakery and asked to place an order for a cake today (8/10) for pick up on 8/12. I was told that they need 5 days notice. I asked if they had too much going on and really couldnt do it? That they dont mind losing the business? They said its not about the businessI am shocked that 3 days in advance they cannot write something on a sheet cake. I am honestly mad at the complete lack of trying. Shocked.

Nice store, staff was super helpful since I was looking for certain items and wasnt famiar with the layout.

There was this customer service worker a few days ago when I went into and used self check out and her response to people need help at the self check was what do you need? To every single person. She was very flat toned and sounded rude and like people was bothering her with that answer.As someone who has worked in a grocery (I worked for schnucks for 2.5 years) that is not how you talk to customersOther than that I love this location

Has always seemed to be one of the best chain grocery stores in town. Staff has always been nice and friendly, while the store itself has been relatively well stocked. There is tons of parking and even when its packed, you dont feel like youve parked in the next state to walk.

Hate is a strong word. I do not hate Dorsett schnucks. I am just unhappy with the meat dept service today. All I needed was a small roast. But when I asked for one half the size they had in the case, instead of saying, ‘sure,no problem’ the very YOUNG man wearing the meat dept uniform told me I just needed a chuck steak. No. I wanted a chuck roast thickness, just not $20 worth. Just 1/2 that. What happened to customer service?!?!? While the schnucks is close by and convenient, it will be awhile before I shop here. Going somewhere else where customer service is priority.

I visit this store weekly however this past time they were installing new self checkout registers and looked like updates to the customer service area anyways the checkout line was back past the eggs!! I was all the way back there and I didnt wait in line no more than 7min!! There was only 7 employees working the registers along with a very multi talented manager and THEY ROCKED IT!! Literally showed major team work and flawlessly got customers safely checked out. BRAVO!!!

The people who make up this store are the reason for 5 stars! I feel like a Rockstar because everyone knows my name. I know mostly checkers but everyone is super nice. Store is clean and well maintained as well.

Not busy on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. Best experience I have ever had in Schnucks on Dorsette. Usually see associates with no mask and unwilling to help customers. I dont usually frequent the chain much prefer Dierbergs where masks are not only mandatory but also enforced.

Compared to some of the other Schnucks in the area, this one is more compact. Im not sure if it impacts the selection, but the atmosphere feels like that of an older store. That said, one doesnt usually gripe too much about atmosphere when grabbing a head of lettuce and paper towels. The service has always been friendly and fast. The location is very convenient to the area.

Love this location, staff is friendly and hard working, decently stocked throughout the pandemic and I just went (night before Thanksgiving) and they kept lines moving and had everything I needed. Great job overall by the staff! Thanks for making these hard times easier for our community.

Its four because its not having all Indian things otherwise after Costco and wallmart its best.

I had to confront an employee after I noticed him walk by and peek to see what items were in my cart. He then continued to do a terrible job of appearing casual while following me through the store. Upon noticing, I went ahead and engaged in the game of hide and seek until I was bothered enough to call him out. Long story short...I blew him down right in the checkout line, properly put every single item back and took my hard earned dollars elsewhere 🤷🏽‍♂️

Literally just had the worst experience at self checkout! So I mistakenly missed one item when scanning my groceries and I asked for help & the woman comes over & in the most condescending and rude way, “LOOK count, 1,2, 3,4 etc” then I said okay thanks & then I let her know I have alcohol and she’s like, “well I have to do it up at the front desk” in a rude way as well. Like, some of us get flustered and have anxiety to begin with when going to the grocery store. So why be rude to those who need help? I don’t understand!! This was that brown headed lady who is a little larger and is always at self checkout. Be nicer to customers you never know what they’re dealing with.

Theyve been making improvements to the store. Not a complete remodel. Its a nice change.

Good Grocery store

Friendly staff, nice and clean store. Also they carry different types of items than other schnucks. I travel 20 minutes and pass 5 other schunks to go to this one.

EDIT: This was written before the vaccine was available. I am not changing the score due to the lack of consideration by management.Cashier not wearing a mask due to a doctors note. Fine, but they shouldnt be working the front lines at a grocery store potentially spreading COVID to high risk populations.I really dislike writing negative reviews. Go ahead and look at my review history. I normally dont leave one if its a bad experience but I feel like I need to warn people.

Has alot of stuff

This place is always a favorite of mine to shop for groceries. And I am a vegan, so thats saying a lot. You wont find the vegan options in a centrally located area of the store. Yes, the produce section is great and easy to find. Which is also where you will find the tofu, Tempeh, some meatless sausage and hot dog meat options, and all the great veggies. Today they also had samples of pineapple that they had cored and cut there today, and yes I did buy one. The other area to find vegan/vegetarian meatless options are on the back wall by the seafood area. They have their own cooler, and thats where you will find the Boca line as well as my favorite gardein options (teriyaki chickn strips are amazing). Aside from all the shopping selections, they have amazing staff. My eyes were wandering around the bathing section and one of the workers noticed me looking and asked what he could help me find, I told him toothpaste. Turns out its in the corner by the pharmacy. They have adequate staff to manage the lines which are never very long. The parking lot area is really easy to navigate, with the one way and wanted parking lanes. There are also numerous cart return areas so you dont need to walk all over looking for one, or worse just ditching it in the lot. One of my favorite grocery stores for sure!

Id rather pay more than be talked down to or rudely when asking a question.The other schnucks locations are fine but this one in Maryland Heights, is not worth anyones time to visit.

Nowhere to dispose of feminine products in either women’s stalls so I had to flush it. I’d do it again bc that’s real inconsiderate ✨ Little variety and cramped since covid. I give it an two stars instead of one since I know ppl that work up there so at least they hire cool ppl. Except for some lady that has a “doctors note” to not wear a mask as we approach a year long pandemic... maybe not the best time to be interacting with hundreds of customers a day... js that puts everyone at risk including herself. And they put the condoms behind customer service, guessing there was an issue w stealing, but maybe if they weren’t $4+ more than they are literally anywhere else that wouldn’t be an issue 💀 ok I’m done

Lines can be long and items have to be shopped based on sales for good prices. That being said the items remain well stocked in a safe environment.

Love the fact you can go in different areas of store if you just wanted to go to the grocery side of the area and not have to visit the produce then you can if you want to hurry up and get in and get back out. I feel the checkouts could be a little bit more spacious but overall nice election nice produce area You can find stuff easily.

Was needing help trying to find some items...no one would help me. The check out line was wrapped around the from, past the pharmacy, and down the dairy isle. They need more than 2 cashiers !!!!!

Wow I wished I could have taken a picture of the seafood I had prepared for me this evening by Amy at the seafood counter, that has since been devoured 😂Sure says a whole bunch about how delicious it was. This store has never disappointed me more than 15 years coming here. This location is well kept but the aisles are quite narrow and the store footprint is relatively small.

As most Schnucks in the St. Louis metropolitan area you get good variety of produce and most of the big brand items as well. This particular location seems to have the best floral department and nice produce/deli area. Overall one of the better Schnucks Ive been to.

I shop at Dorsett Schnucks all the time as it is my neighborhood Schnucks. I enjoy shopping at my neighborhood Schnucks as it is close, convenient and almost always have what I want or need when I shop!

Great local grocery store. Has everything you need at a good price. Check the sale prices for ice cream, sometimes gets a really good deal.

This is the best Schnucks I have ever been to. The produce is ALWAYS fresh, the sushi is incredible, and the staff is so caring! Im tempted to call corporate to complain about how no other Schnucks is up to par with this one. I will go out of my way to get to this Schnucks. Trust me when I say its worth it. I like to go all times of the day/night and everyone there has been so friendly and helpful. $5 sushi Fridays are my favorite! Keep up the amazing work!

Overall they were more expensive than other chains in the area. They had a few good deals but I had to go elsewhere to get the bulk of my groceries.

Big time for service.

This is the best supermarket to shop. It consistently have interesting products. It is always clean, orderly and fully stocked with varieties. Their customer services are excellent.

Was very impressed with the store. Open, bright with plenty of room in the aisle. Large selection in all sections. Visiting from a small town I was in awe of the selection, and pleasantly surprised on prices. I chose to shop at Schmucks on this visit as I am one of their customer service reps for some of their private labels. A great group to work with, so wanted to patronize their store when I had the chance. When up this way, this will be the store I will choose. Would have given 5 stars, but the one negative was checkout. Fairly busy at 4 pm but only 3 checkout lanes open . I do not care for self checkout, which seems they were pushing you to.

Its convenient for Maryland Heights area where my brother lives. All produce I have gotten has been good. Nice variety and selections. Its my go to grocery when im in town.

Everything is great except for the deli. Only 2 workers with 6-7 people in line. Esp the weekends... have more people working in the deli. The week is horrible too but the weekends more people are shopping. People dont have time to wait in line for 15-20 minutes for help in that dept. could have had the rest of my shopping done by that point.

I just get aggravated when standing in an aisle respecting social distancing, while people in front of you are on their cellphone.

This is by far my favorite Schnucks location. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you cant beat the convenience of 24 hour service. I tend to shop later in the evening since I work all day. The store is always clean and well stocked. This location offers a great selection of products, including fairly priced, fresh produce. I also love that they offer the deli, seafood counter, butcher, and bakery all in one store.

I have never had a bad experience at Schnucks.

The whole store. The floors were filthy. Where the raw meet is located it did not smell fresh at all. I never seen that store in that bad shape. Higher knew contractors to clean that store.

Went grocery shopping

Service here is always great each time I come through here. Today was especially noticeable with all the craziness going on right now, both pharmacy staff and grocer staff were all very cordial and polite.

The produce is nice, quality and on the rare occasion that Ive needed to bring something back, it was done with a smile. They are a small store compared to the larger mega size stores. There may not be as much variety as the mega stores, but theres enough and it saves me time wandering around! Whenever I need help with an item, finding it or reaching something too high I dont have trouble finding someone to help. The same goes for the pharmacy. They made some changes and I feel very comfortable and happy with the service Im getting. Having a US Bank inside is just another small convenience.

Very clean everything is in stock. Employees are very courteous.
