They did great work to fix an old leak, on vintage 100+ year faucets. Knowledgeable, professional and on-time. Will be calling them back for all of our plumbing needs.

Over the past three years, the plumber Darwin has changed our water heater, fixed a leaky sink (which had been installed incorrectly by the previous homeowners), and fixed a leaky toilet. Darwin is incredibly knowledgeable, and has always been efficient and very professional. Pricing is very reasonable and they have always been able to get us in within a day or two of calling. If you need a plumber, Clausen Plumbing & Heating is the way to go.

The service was great. I had a frozen pipe and they came within an hour after I called. They are respectful and courteous when they come to work on what is needed to be done.

Somehow it took the guy 3 1/2 hrs to run a 3 inch pvc pipe across 23 feet attic to run the furnace exhaust out side wall. Not productive at all! It was a 30 min job. I would have done it myself but I was already working on other projects. I called to have them explain what took place for it to take that long and they were going to call me back and never returned the call. I would recommend different plumbing services. I highly recommend Clausen Plumbing & Heating. We just moved to Mason City and Darwin came out, fixed every single plumbing issue we had. He was knowledgeable, explained every aspect of the problems, and fixed all 4 problems and he also pointed out an electrical ground issue that wasnt up to code. In the future I will not hesitate to contact Clausen for all our plumbing and heating issues and highly recommend them.

Purchased boiler 2yes ago. Never worked right. Took a year to get him out to look at it. Never came back. Do not do business with them. They will not support you after the saleGot boiler fixed by another plumber. Was reimbursed by Clausens for out if pocket labor. In the end they were short handed but no excuse to let go over 2 years . Steve is a good guy and maybe I was a little impatient. But 2yrs. . ?

Took about 15 minutes to change a $0.40 plastic washer on my outdoor faucet. Didnt even have to get his hands dirty and charged me over $75!!! Went there the day before at 4:30 in the afternoon to get the part myself and fix it..the sign on the door said open but it was locked and they didnt answer the phone. They were supposed to be open till 5:00.They will definitely never get my business again!

Absolute piece of garbage customer service. Cant return a phone call, and cant run a business in any timely fashion. Tried to get a repair done for 5 weeks and the guy who runs the place told me it wasnt his fault it had been that long even though he didnt return any of my calls or schedule any service (which he is the one to do). This company does not value your time or businesss, find another company.

Called to get an estimate for some plumbing work, I was told Id hear back in a couple days to set up a time. After no return call, I called back a week later and they told me again that I would be getting a call. That was 2 weeks ago and still havent received a call back.

Clausen Plumbing & Heating recently installed a new gas water heater for me. The process couldnt have gone any smoother. The Technician was kind, prompt and did a great job.

They came to do an estimate for me to move some plumbing to the main floor for a washer. Someone was to get back to me in a week. Never heard back. After several calls to them a week later with no answer finally someone answered and said they would have someone call me back. Never again heard from them. Do not reccomend at all.

They did a 7200 sqft shop with offices in record time, within budget and it looks and functions beautifully. Definitely recommend for a professional job

Was told I would have someone come out before noon today to help with a tub faucet. Never received a call, nor did anyone ever show up. I took time off of work to have this done. Very unprofessional. Was contacted at 2:16 pm with excuses saying the worker was not told it was supposed to be before noon. Lack of communication, or just a means of not having to take responsibility? The worker who called was unprofessional as well. Sounded like he didnt even want to do the job in the first place?

Called Tuesday evening, they came Wednesday morning to fix a sink with no hot water and a toilet that was leaking because of an improper install. In and out in about an hour and really friendly.
