The staff was great, professional and helpful. I showed up to buy a first bicycle for my 3 year old grandson. The best service in the bike business is Sunrise Cyclery. I had a problem with installing a tube I purchased from the store for my 5 year old bike .I made a hole in the new tube and Kathy was so nice to replace the tube without any problem . Also, she explain to me the tire wasn’t good & cause to cut the tube . So I just purchase a new tire from them because their service was Excellent. If There’s a 6 star this is the place no question ask . I live locally & for sure I will give them my business . Thank you very much to Kathy & the rest of the staff . Very professional. Everyone was nice and friendly and they work fast. I was told that the bike may take until sat afternoon to be finished with the training wheels but joe was able to finish it ahead of time which was perfect and I was able to give it to my nephew for his birthday present in time. I just had the best experience with Frank at Sunrise Cyclery. The demand for bikes during this public health emergency has made it very difficult to find a 20 bike in stock for my 6 year old daughter (who has been cooped up for months). I was lucky enough to find the model we wanted at Sunrise Cyclery but needed to arrange shipping and assembly because I live out of state. I spoke with Frank who was so helpful. He figured out the shipping - no problem. He worked with me to have a local dealership assemble the bike - no problem. This is a business that cares about finding a way to help the customer and make dads and daughters happy. Thank you, Frank!

Patronized this shop today. I was greeted by a friendly and gracious lady with pretty blue eyes. Despite my many questions, she was extremely patient and professional. She was also very knowledgeable about all the products I was purchasing. The store itself is very clean and well stocked. My experience was sterling and I shall be returning to patronize this business.

In my opinion, they are one of the best in NY. I have gotten all my bike from here since I was 6 yrs old, when it was Schwinn bikes. That was 37 years ago growing up in Massapequa.

The service, workmanship and experience was great from start to finish, which is especially valuable in a time of high demand for sales and repairs. They easily communicated the time of repair and finished ahead of schedule. Would highly recommend!

All the staff was extremely helpful both on the phone and in person. It was a very easy transaction because the staff was so knowledgeable about my bike and the parts I needed to change my crankset. Going to continue coming here for all my bike needs.

With the difficulty of purchasing new bikes these days due to high demand and very limited stock, Sunrise Cyclery was still able to track down the exact make and model bicycle that I was looking to order, and I had quicker than expected. Great communication all-around and a respected local shop.

Frank and the rest of the staff were extremely knowledgeable about the bike I was looking for and accessories. After purchasing the Trek Verve 2 online, I went to pick up the bike on a Friday. I store had additional COVID precautionary measures in place for everyones safety. I drove 2 hrs to get to Sunrise Cyclery because everything was sold out in NJ but well worth the trip.

The had the parts that I needed in stock. The staff member who helped me was very friendly and offered good advice about how to install the bike tube. She also offered information to assist with a future purchase.

I came to pick up my bike. The sales representatives had my bike out and ready with styrofoam protection covering the frame. I also bought a bell, front and rear lights along with a helmet. The staff were very informative about the products I wanted and help me to the fullest extent. All in all, this was a great experience.

Sunrise was one of the few places that had a bike in the size for my son. I was able to complete the purchase over the phone and it was ready for pickup sooner than they said it would be. My son loves his new bike and is so happy riding it.

Placed an online order for Speedplay pedals w/Cleats but they only sent the cleats...no pedals. Definitely inconvenient because I now have to wait an additional 5 days (w/Memorial Day holiday) for the correct product to arrive AND make a trip to the post office to send back the incorrect cleats that were sent. The moral of the story is that you have to weigh whether the potential inconvenience of an error is worth the savings of a purchase from an online vendor.

Have been there multiple times, bought multiple bikes from them, had bikes fixed quickly on the spot by them, and will continue to do business with them for all these reasons.

Called to get the water bottle holder on my bike looked at (screw needs replacing). First call, someone put me on hold without talking to me and never came back.Second phone call someone picked up and then told me I would have to drop my bike off and leave it for at least three weeks to have the water bottle holder fixed.Keeping my bike for a MONTH for a water bottle holder? Are you out of your mind?No thanks.

Great experience, got the bicycle I wanted (Trek Marlin 5 Volt Green ) on sale! I was measured on the bike and they ordered the correct size for me. I forgot to ask for a kick stand and the put one on for me on the spot while picking it up! Great service!

July 10, 2020 UPDATE:After unsuccessfully trying twice to communicate with the company directly, I opened a PayPal dispute to try to get a refund. PayPal decided in my favor and refunded my payment today. There is no record in the dispute of Sunrise responding in any way. Avoid this business.June 24, 2020I placed an order on June 4 for three items, all of which were listed as in stock. I did not receive an order confirmation, though full payment was accepted via PayPal immediately. When I hadnt received my items after ten days, I wrote Sunrise asking about the status of my order. No response. I wrote them again one week later, again no response.I am completely OK with delayed shipping due to Covid. I am NOT OK with Sunrise not sending me an order confirmation, nor with them ignoring two requests for information.I suggest potential customers shop elsewhere, until this family business is operating normally.

Excellent Bike Shop, Top Shelf repairs and high qualilty bikes for sale.

The store is very easy to get to by Train, and you can carry a Bicycle of the Train, as long as you have a Bicycle Permit. I like having a store that has good customer service, and has good quality parts, and good service.

Im an out of state buyer. (They had a leftover Madone and the sale price was great.) I called and spoke to both Joe and Frank and after talking to them I felt completely comfortable purchasing a Madone sight unseen. I also wanted to make some changes upgrades and they accommodated with ease. The price was VERY competitive with online shops and their willingness to work with me was appreciated.They shipped the bike quickly and it was packed better than I expected.
