Super friendly staff helped me pick the very perfect color of KVD full coverage lock it foundation Ive been after. They also pointed me out to a fantastic contour kit from smashbox! Money well spent on top of the line products. So happy to get a second set if eyes for color purposes since its been awhile since I bought foundation or spent to much time in the sun. The store is easy to navigate as well!

I absolutely love this location, very convenient and reliable to always have the products I need in stock. Staff is super friendly in helpful. I have been helped by Shekeyna in the past and yesterday by Amanda M. I cant wait for my next trip and to earn more rewards!!!

They have lots of beauty care supplies, low on special Christmas bundles. Its so close to the holidays so they probably wont be restocking those. Plenty of help if you need it. Store was kind of crowded. Checkout was pretty fast.

Went to the Matthews location with the purpose to buy products to contour. Never done this and needed everything from the ground up. 2 really nice lady’s helped me to find everything from primer to setting spray, brushes the right colors for my skin tone. Went streicht home and tried it, first time was little tricky but second try came out great. Thank you for all your help today

My review is based solely on Shekeyah (I hope that was her name- at least that was on the receipt!). As normal, when I walk in, no one greets me or asks if I need help finding anything. My daughters and I walked around for a few minutes until we bumped into Shekeyah. She asked us if we needed help with anything and after my daughter and I explained what we were looking for, she was quick to guide us and offer her professional suggestions. She was super friendly and kind. Ina addition to, for my daughter (first time makeup wearer) she made sure to answer any questions she had and offer tips and tricks. I wish this was my experience every time I went in but she made up for all the other times. Great customer service Shekeyah!!

Looking for several items and all wet out of stock. I really wish you would carry all the same brands like MAC. Now I have to go out of my way to another ulta or go to the mall. Also there are too many people working. I was asked for help literally 10 times. No free samples were offered either. Might as well go to south park

This Ulta is by far my favorite. They dont always have the stock amount of some of the other stores. I like to believe its because people like this location as much as I do. The employees are so helpful, returns are generally a smooth process (not that I return much - but with COVID and the inability to swatch products, its soo nice to know theyll help you out. The store is always clean and I am generally sucked in by a sale/promotion so I would say marketing is successful!

Spent almost 30 minutes looking for a associate to help me find some stuff, in the end I found what I needed & ironically spotted the associates only after. Was a bit upset but Cherea(?She had curly hair in a pony tail) the cashier was so nice and attentive that she improved my whole experience!

Alta has a very wide selection of name-brand beauty & cosmetic items at slightly below wholesale prices. They have a number of employees ready to assist. Good social-distancing practiced. My only qualm is that prices are not easy to find without asking.

Love the layout of the store. There are so many brands to choose from and the staff members are very knowledgeable of the products and how to use them. Amanda helped me Friday night, and although I came in close to closing time, she took the time to help me find what I was looking for and answered all of my questions. Definitely making this location my go-to spot for all of my beauty needs!!

My cashier was sweet and was very inviting I dont remember his name but he had brownish hair and was tall. :) He helped me with my rewards.

I have been calling different locations 15min. prior to opening hours looking for a product and this store was the only one unwilling to help me until the store opened. It was a simple yes or no question.

I was so excited when I found out Ulta was coming to the Matthews area. Unfortunately, I dont always have the best experience when I go to this location. The staff is not always friendly, when items (in the drug store area mostly) are on sale they are rarely labeled. Check the Ulta app before shopping because I have checked out twice at this location (with my rewards number) and was not reminded of points or coupons that were available to me. Hopefully with time this location will be just as reliable as the Cotswold location.Update on 12/6– this place is still awful. Can we can a standalone Sephora in Matthews?

Very friendly staff. They were very helpful today. The store is very clean and organized as well. If you go in the mornings its not crowded theres hardly anyone there.

I had my hair dyed at this location for this first time today and I love my hair! Spenser understood my vision and I couldnt be any more happier with my hair.

Almost laughable! When we walked in, they said Welcome to... but we never gpt the Ulta because she stopped mid sentence to talk with a coworker. Never was asked if we could be helped, felt rushed at checkout.... good thing we found what we came for. Maybe the lady forgot the name of where she worked bc she hasnt been able to work due to COVID19....

I hated coming here. Rude workers. Took 10-15 minutes just to pick up an online order because they ignored me and took everyone else in the normal line first. It would have been faster to buy it there.
