Would have wanted to go, looked very interesting, but closed due to Covid19. 😒
A very nice historic landmark you can tour. Private tours are available, see the old church, school house and railroad cars. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to bring children. Easily accessed and visible from the Anthony Wayne Trail.
So bro, I was trying to find information on the Toledo War (for my NHD project obvs), and this was the only open center in all of Toledo I swear. So automatically, it gets five stars, since theres nothing to compare it to. (In case you all were wondering: I didnt make it to nationals. Also the Toledo war didnt have any battlefield-related deaths. pretty not groovy.
The Wolcott Heritage Center is a historical area in Maumee, Ohio. Its a beautiful area. I was there photographing a wedding in front of the church. I forgot how beautiful the buildings are. I would definitely go back there and visit for non work purposes sometime soon!
Because Darlene our docent was extremely knowledgeable! Clean, affordable, and packed with historical artifacts.
At my good friends sons wedding at the Monclova Church
Lots of local artifacts and extremely easy to view.
Worth the trip. Very cool historical place!
