Buyer beware! We purchased a hot tub three years ago. Buying is always easy, right? We had our first problem approx. 2 months ago; the tub was not heating, circulating properly, and an error light was on. My husband called and was told someone would be out the next day to replace a motor. No show, no call. My husband, really too patient, waited a week... no call. When he called he was told it would be two weeks; they claimed they thought they had a pump but didn’t and it would be 2 weeks. Here we are 7-8 weeks later without the use of our hot tub, winter setting in(they claim it won’ t freeze but manufacturer says otherwise), and not a single call. When my husband called this week, he was told no idea when the part would be in. Either 1. They don’t have the funds to purchase items 2. They simply don’t care 3. They are only concerned with selling and couldn’t care less about servicing what they sell. We have called The Great Escape in Ft. Wayne, who has been extremely helpful and is scheduled to be here this week to replace pump. Unless you intend to buy a new hot tub when something goes wrong, find another place to buy from who actually demonstrates “customer service.” They have lost a lifetime buyer.
When I came into your store on June 4th, I had the pleasure of working with Jason. He was professional and I had a great in store experience. He had a board up with models/colors of hot tubs that were on the next truck coming that I had left to choose from. We went with a J245 model and he specifically told me that the truck was coming in 2-3 weeks and we should have our tub delivered by 4th of July. Obviously that did not happen, and the only reason my husband and I continued to call during those months while we were waiting is because of what I was told. You can say no one would have told me that, but I can assure you HE DID. I realize that Covid messed things up for everyone, I completely understand that, but this is what I was told. Fast forward to August, our hot tub was scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday August 25th. In the evening on Monday the 24th, I received a call saying the deliveries got double booked and I had to reschedule mine (keep in mind my father had already taken the day off work to be there). So we rescheduled for Friday August 28th. I even confirmed to model/color on the phone just to make sure everything went smooth, and my father took another day off work for Friday. When I got home that evening, the wrong color hot tub had been delivered to me AND no chemicals were left at delivery either like they were supposed to be. We were told the people who got our color of tub liked it and wanted to keep it and I have no clue how this is fair or acceptable and also how you didnt notice I was getting the wrong hot tub. In light of that, your offer was to give us $1,000 off the hot tub (which we took) or wait until that color was available again and was told it could be up until next spring or summer before that would happen and then the tubs would be switched out. We had to then call your store that evening to tell you we had no chemicals, and my husband met (i believe Dean) in Temperance to get them the next morning, not the biggest deal, but inconvenient on top of already getting the wrong hot tub. On September 11th, I came to Landmark to have my water tested and schedule a service for the light in my tub not working correctly. I talked to Dean and left my name and number. He specifically told me and I quote I am about 2 weeks out on scheduled repairs. You wont have to be home for me to fix the light, something probably came loose when it got delivered, I will just have to pull the cabinet off to fix it. I will call you in 1-2 weeks to schedule when I can come out. Not to my surprise, I never received a call. I came back into the store on October 2nd to have my water tested and to re-address the light. The gentleman at the front tested my water and when I told him about my light again, he brought over a notepad and asked me to write my name and number on it and they will call me to schedule the repair. I informed him I have already left my number with Dean and that I am aware that this is a minor issue but it is a brand new hot tub and I would like it to be fixed. He assured me he would give my information to Dean and I would get a call. To no surprise, I have not gotten a call. My husband called your store yesterday October 15th to see when we could get on the schedule to get the light fixed. Pretty sure he spoke with Dean and he says to my husband (very rudely i might add) Is this Adam? I told your wife that this is our busy time and I have a lot of pool closings and repairs to do. Its just a light and your hot tub is still working. UNBELIEVABLE. Completely rude and unprofessional response for one. Secondly, he never said that to me. Funny how he makes up things to fit his story to make it seem like somehow we are in the wrong or being unreasonable. This has been the worst experience and I would not recommend your store to anyone. I will not continue my business with you for chemicals/future purchases if this is how we will be treated, only if I had to for warranty repairs. Any time Dean answers the phone, he sounds completely aggravated that you are even calling. Very unfortunate.
Fathers Day present from the wife. Another gentleman allowed her to take the last Large egg even though he had built an. Outdoor kitchen.As soon as that customers leaves the salesman tells my wife this is the last one and they have not received any more Eggs since February and none are scheduled since February. WOW, love the Egg but sales guy totally screwed the guy who pre ordered.Wife also purchased several add ons. All of which were backordered. 40 daya later and several calls to to store, no luck.I walk in, in AUGUST. All they accessories are there but they never bothered to call us. Oh, they just came in today same sales rep never lifted a finger to get my stuff.Maybe he had better things to do on a Friday at 5 PM. but he could care less a about any thing or any one.Love the BIG GREEN EGG. But wont ever go back to Landmark Pool and Spas
Ordered a hot tub cover on january 31st, still no cover, not been able to use my hot tub, nobody has even offered to email them to see if its been made or when it can be shipped!!!!, not very happy

Jacuzzi and many other home spas available. Landmark also installs and services in ground pools. They are also a local Big Green Egg dealer and have pretty much all of the supplies for your egg. Locally owned and operated!
