Do yourself a huge favor and AVOID this place at ALL COSTS!!!I dont even know where to begin... I am partly to blame because despite hearing countless horror stories from other customers and having awful experience after awful experience myself, I continued to subject myself to their poor service and dishonest practices. I mainly did this due to the familiarity and loyalty (to the old Andersons store - they were the best) and convenience of the location to my house...They always over-charged me, they rarely had mowers, tractors or weed-eaters ready on time. Basic tune ups cost an arm and leg. You might as well buy a new mower each year... They have brutal communication, both internally and externally (to the customer)... When you call, nobody knows what is going on. Everyone tells you something different!I do want to point out that the ladies were always very very nice and the delivery guys were always great! However, everyone else I ever encountered was a nightmare to deal with...Their sales staff has ZERO social skills. You might as well be talking to cyborgs. To make things worse, they are snarky cyborgs who provide smart-a@@ answers to genuine questions.That all leads me to this year. As I began typing out the details of this never ending debacle, it took on the form of a novel... So Ill spare you the novel and just summarize it like this: what they (the service department and management did to me was nothing short of robbery (over 700 dollars worth of robbery!!!) And that is not hyperbole!!! I very rarely complain, especially about local small businesses, as they are the backbone of our communities, but I have never in my life been lied to and treated more poorly than this experience. What they did to me was not only dishonest, it was incredibly immoral and insulting!!! I have several friends who have equally bad experiences.Take your business to D & R!!! You will be glad you did!

Great experience. I have a preference for Stihl products when it comes to lawn care power tools and these guys are one of the only local outfits around that sell them. Place was busy so I milled about until a sales rep get to me. As soon as I told him what I wanted/needed he was Johnny on the spot. Answered all my questions quickly and had me rung up in a jiffy. Very happy to spend my $ on an excellent product backed by an excellent staff

Needed a small tube for the pneumatic tire on a hose cart. They were the only place i could find it. Took my Ryobi sprayer there. They fixed it but did not tell me what was wrong.

Everytime I go there, I honestly miss The Andersons the previous company running the John Deere dealership. The reason is, the clerks behind the main counter that everyone has to deal with are NOT PEOPLE friendly, are short when spoken to and just about rude. I wish the next JD dealership was closer than Bowling Green. Its a shame, what nat having nice front people can do throw away future business, because they lost both mine & my extended familys, and on different days, just the same people up front.

I Stop in at closing time just to drop my zero turn off. I planned to come back in the morning and fill out a work order. They were locking the doorswhen I was told to bring the mower in and they would write up a workorder. That was great. the next day I got a call with an estimate and theysaid the work would be done with in a week. I got a call two days laterthat my mower was ready for pick up.GREAT JOB.

This green stuff sales by itself, it looks like! Went there with the intent to buy a small tractor and the sale guy was so difficult to work with so I left. After asking a dozen of questions to try to get details about the different models and options I clearly understand that I was annoying the guy. May be I was not dressed enough for his standard! Anyway I bought a Kubota BX2380 and orange suits me perfectly ;-)

I needed a small rototiller, so I went to Andersons Mower Center like my father always used to. The salesman was knowledgeable and courteous, and I was in and out in 15 minutes. One of the best garden equipment buys Ive ever made! It always starts on the first or second pull! Ive loaned it out to neighbors several times too

Gary the salesman was familiar with all the models of pushmowers he had on the floor We chose the Honda and he explained all the controls on the mower and how they and how each one worked. Sears was the last placed I shopped at that had sales people that were knowledgeable about the product they were selling It was great to find a place that the salesman was trained in what they were selling. Im not familiar with all the sales people but this one was on top of his game

We sent our riding mower to get the engine repaired since it was burning oil. Turns out the engine needed a new gasket. They charged quite a bit for delivery and when they returned it fixed, the steering wheel was loose. We told them that this a new problem that wasnt there before. They took the mower back but then told us they were going to charge us for the repair and another delivery charge. This was absurd since they broke it to begin with. After speaking with the manager, we were able to resolve the issue. After they returned the mower, the engine was now leaking oil from the bottom. This was when we realized they know nothing about engine repairs. We decided to take the mower elsewhere. They told us the problem was the same gasket that was replaced was installed incorrectly. They repaired it and now it works great. All I did was waste money bringing it here. If you need service done, there are so many other servicemen in town that will do a better job for less.

Went to buy a lawn tractor for son in law for fathers day. Selection was terrible. Sales people weird and awkward. Pulling teeth to get any questions answered. No incentives to buy from the dealer at all. And didn’t even have one avaluable to take home. We went to Home Depot got 12 months same as cash, 100 off for financing, 200 free gift card. And they had two set up and ready for us to take. Also dealer had models 100 and 140 but home depot had more of a selection with a better model 160 for same price. Home depot associates were amazing in assisting us. If i was John Deere i would not let this dealer sell my products!

We love the staff, we love the service and the location right in the old Andersons location. Just had my lawn tractor repaired. This is one of the repairs where a shady repair shop might have piled on the charges but not FIC! Charges were fair and less than we expected! We will return with our other lawn equipment and when we need a new mower... we know where we will shop first! Right here!

Called today for a service appointment. Mower is working, just not well. Told me it wouldnt be able to be looked at for over two weeks. I asked if I could make an appointment as its spring and I cant be without my lawnmower (I have rental units plus my home). I offered to drop it off the day (or day before) they could get me in. Was told no, only first come first serve. Do you really want my lawnmower for almost three weeks? Thank God auto repair shops dont operate in this fashion.

I knew when heard story from coworker that they gave his trimmer back to the wrong person I should stay away - but I didnt. Went looking for an idler pulley today, broken one in hand along with one from the other side as an example of what I needed. Guy asks what the model number me - i dont have it with me, can you match it up to one I brought? NO, have to have the model number left & went down the street to D &R... had my pulley in two minutes from a simple match up.

Basically not knowing what to fix I paid for drive belt I didnt need and to Top it off it was the wrong size. I was told the belt was cracked Upon inspection there nothing wrong . The main reason I had my gator in for repair was not taken of . I take my repair work to wood county John Deere where every effort is made to fix any problem I have .

Came in with a check for 19k and left with my check for 19k. When I walked in the door not one sales person greeted me, and I had to seek out help. Upon receiving help by the sales manager I felt that I was more annoying to him than anything, and it was a burden for me to ask him to do his job today. From there things got worse. Of course there is more tp the story but in short, my company planned to switch to John Deere mowers, which would net nearly another 30-40K in business this year alone...Not happening because of one experience. The sales person I worked with was great up to that point via phone, but the in store experience with the sales manager was garbage. I mean heck, I have been treated better when spending $3 at McDonalds by a minimum wage employee...It just seems wrong when you get better treatment from a frontline salesman, than the sales manager...We wont be spending our money there. On the way back to our shop we called the guys at Buck and Knobby and the sales manager immediately was way easier to deal with, and Ill be taking my check there instead...
