First of all, I called late last night, and these guys were willing to come out then!!! But I decided it could wait til morning, so bright and early David showed up as planned! He was absolutely wonderful. He was on time, social distanced, explained everything he would need to do to get it going, gave me an understandable estimate of charges and went to work! He was done in no time flat. :) Very polite and well-mannered and seemingly great at his job! I had a spring break early morning on a weekday. I called and they were able to shuffle around the schedule and get David to my house by noon. 45 minutes after arrival my garage was back to normal operation. It was probably one of the most efficient home repairs Ive ever had. I highly recommend.

Second, the fact that they are open 24 hours is amazing. I wasnt expecting that at all. And third, Travis was awesome!!!!! He showed up in the time that was told to me and the fact that it was 10:30pm and he was happy to help, calmed me down because I was all over the place. He came in told me exactly what the problem was, gave me several options including replacing the motor and in the end I went ahead a replaced the motor because I didnt want to have the same problem on down the line. One of the worst feelings in the world is something you take for granted not working when you need it. They were responsive getting out to the house. David was professional and thorough performing a full inspection on the door components to ensure I wouldn’t have any other issues. Got the repair completed quickly and even reset my door limits to get it to go all the way up and down.If anyone needs garage door work give them a call!!! No job too big or too small for them.

Prompt and very professional service. I called another company prior to and they said it would be 3 days before they could get to me. Direct Service Overhead Door came out that same evening and immediately told me what was wrong. Because of my location from their office, and he had just sold that part (his last one in the truck), he had to come back the next day. A big shout out to David Santiago! He installed a new garage door for me yesterday, replacing my old wooden door with a metal door. He arrived on time and had my old door down and my new one up in a couple hours.He was working in an enclosed garage with no air conditioning or even a fan, with a heat index of 105+. He never complained and just steady worked. I wanted my old lock installed and thats where he ran into some issues. It was a challenge to say the least, taking considerable extra time, but he was patient and professional, and made sure I was completely satisfied. He cleaned up and hauled off my old door.On a scale of 1-10 I would rate him a 30!

I had just moved into a new home. The second night the garage door came off the track and was only down about halfway. The garage was FULL of moving boxes—practically everything I own. On top of that I had an out of town appointment the next day at 11:30.I called for service a few minutes past eight the next morning, explaining my situation.A technician arrived at 9:00 and finished at 10:30 allowing me to make my appointment and leave my new home with peace of mind.The technician explained (in language I could understand) exactly what was wrong. He gave me the option for two fixes, one less permanent. The other option was fixing the door and correcting past mistakes.I am very grateful for the service and very satisfied with my “new” garage door!

I never leave reviews for things like this but I believe great service and a well run business deserve recognition. I called on a Sunday about a pretty urgent issue and they had someone out within a couple of hours and the problem was fixed within 15 minutes. The technician was incredibly kind and patience, even though they waited over 20 minutes in our driveway because I didn’t hear my phone ringing. Still so sorry about that!! He was friendly, quick, and efficient and the price was VERY reasonable. I appreciate everything about my experience today and would highly recommend them to anyone and will keep them for any issue I have in the future. The Springs on my garage door went out on Sunday morning. I was right in the middle of moving furniture out of the garage into a storage unit when it broke. My usual garage door company was not available and I tried 3 other companies before I got a hold of Direct Service Overhead Garage. They gave me a 4pm apt but ended up coming a couple hours earlier than planned, which was great! The service person - Ed was prompt, friendly and courteous. He immediately identified the problem and explained the repairs. Had it back and running in plenty of time for me to finish the move. Would definitely recommend and plan on using them in the future for any garage door repairs.

Absolutely awful! I never leave a review! Ed arrived on time, but it went downhill from there. He commented that he didn’t have the sensors that I would need. He got on his ladder and took apart my motor and took out the panel. He showed me the panel and told me it was shot and that I would need an entirely new motor. Mind you it was working just find and I only needed sensors, adjusting the positioning, and a new remote. I would have gone with that opinion had he done more evaluation (the company I ended up using gave me at least 3 things a technician should have tried out before reporting I needed a new $600+ unit). I told him I did not want a new motor and when he asked for a $70 service charge I declined because I was told the estimate would be free, not to mention he hadn’t done anything. All of that being said he put it all together and told me good day. Before he got in his truck I had to push the button to make sure it worked myself. Guess what? It didn’t! He came back looked it over, blamed it on the panel, took it apart again (the other company said it was put in backwards), and said that was all he could do! I was left thinking I was about to have to drop $600 and a door that wasn’t working. Turns out I only needed to spend $250 and call someone else. I’m not saying the company is bad, and it could be Ed was having a bad day who knows, all I do know is that was my experience.

Amazing service both professionally and personally. Great work by a very friendly staff. Beyond just fixing our garage door issue, they repaired a loose piece of siding on the house that wasn’t even related to the repair, “just to tidy things up”. They also gathered up and reprogrammed all of our old openers to work both garages without asking. Little things like this go a long way to a great experience. Excellent work.

My garage door was not closing and after trying to fix it myself, I gave up and called Direct Service. It was around 7pm when I called and David arrived at my house a little past 8pm. When I attempted to show him that the garage door wasnt working, it started working! Shaking my head and apologizing to him, I reassured him that it definitely was not closing before. He tested a few things to make sure that it was working properly. He was at my house for about 15 minutes. He checked the motor and sensors as well. Afterwards, I was prepared to pay for his time there. He told me that he wasnt going to charge me because he didnt have to fix anything! I was shocked. David was very professional and friendly.
