Make no mistake about it the whole grey experince of buying a first time car and having to put down a payment and pay the bank of to own the car id never done before and from the start i knew what i wanted to spend and justin grey told me exactly what he had on his lot i found my dream cr here and then we went to the loan department no problem no pushing warranty for matinee in fact i did not get one out the door and week later i diced to get one and it was no problem these are good folks .... my car had a catlatice convent break in bank two one month affter i signed papers on it and they fixed it out of the dealer ships pocket please give them a chance if you ever think about buying used or new cars please please try smith grey first i promise thy will help and not push you if you can only afford what you know you can speand that included tags and tax they wont try to hushlle one bit best customer service iv ever had in my life

Went in for a Collision repair, its been a month and still not done. Its been just sitting for a week with nothing done but an alignment. They like to play games up there and its getting highly annoying!Update: the replacement rim doesnt match the rest, the door isnt aligned properly, and when the light hits it right u can still see buffing marks along with the different color in the cheap fender flare

I was traveling to Allegheny College with my sons from Virginia, and as we were getting ready to leave, the tailgate on my 2015 Suburban would not close. I had to bungee cord it. When I arrived in Meadville, I stopped at Smith Gray, where Justin was working the showroom. When I asked for help, he took me back to Bill, who was working in the shop, even though the service dept was closed. Bill spent nearly an hour trying to figure out the problem, and eventually was able to get the tailgate closed. He sent me on my way, and didn’t charge me. These guys were truly terrific - so friendly and customer oriented. I can’t thank them enough, go buy a car from them! You won’t go wrong.

I was referred to Smith-Gray by my daughter and definitely was not disappointed. From the minute I walked in the door, Mark was fantastic. We discussed the 3 vehicles I was interested in, took a test drive and I was sold on a GMC Terrain. I sat with Jim in financing and he made the confusing aspect of financing very easy. Soon after that, I was signing papers and the proud owner of an awesome vehicle. Mark stayed late on New Years Eve to make sure I understood all the bells and whistles On my new vehicle. No words can express how comfortable and impressed I am with the service I received. Mark and Jim are the best!! Anyone looking for a new vehicle should definitely go to Smith-Gray.

Excellent Experience. Justin dealt with us honestly and we got a good deal. We are very happy with our vehicle purchase all the way around. We love the vehicle and also dealing with Justin and Smith Gray was a pleasure.We had an issue with our car and the title. Justin made a deal with us even though we needed some title work done, and then, once our title came in, Justin drove the vehicle to our home, two-and-a-half hours away!

Being a State Farm Service First Center has been a very positive experience for me. Called in and spoke with Jennifer and she told me when she would be available to give an estimate. Went and got the estimate and repair service all scheduled in the first visit. Just got the car back and it looks great. They even had it totally cleaned when I arrived to get it. I would definitely recommend this place when having to have any body or collision work done. Keep up the great work!

I was in need of a vehicle a week before leaving for my wedding, and honestly didnt know where to turn for help. The engine had blown up on my previous vehicle, and I was leaving in a few days. When I met Justin Gray, He treated me 1st class. It felt like we had been friends for a long time. He took his time, got to know me, so that he could really understand what I was trying to accomplish, even though I was interested in the least expensive vehicle on the lot. He made sure the car had new tires on it, was inspected for a year, and also made sure the car was in perfect condition mechanically so I would have the peace of mind, knowing it was not going to break down on me. With my busy schedule it came down the last day for me to purchase a vehicle before I had to leave, and DJ worked all day with me to make sure I got approved for a lone on time. DJ also treated me first class and really cared about my life and what I needed. On top of everything else, Justin gave me an incredible deal on the vehicle with out me having to ask, made sure the car was detailed before I got it, and DJ and Justin both stayed a few minutes late on a Friday night to make sure I had the car I needed in time to leave for my wedding. I am more than appreciative for everything they have done for me, and will be back to see them for my next vehicle. I would also recommend them to anyone who needs a car.

Great experience working with Justin and DJ, who spent time explaining and offering the best deal possible. They made the transition from the old lease to the new one so easy. By far the easiest and most pleasant car buy experience of my life. Everyone at Smith-Gray was extremely helpful and courteous, starting with owner David Gray and all the way down the line. His Son Justin was right there as I walked through the door and within minutes of explaining what I was looking for, and my price range, he had keys in his hands and showing me around the lot. Absolutely beautiful cars on their lot, especially the new Buicks, I only had to sit in one to know that I was going to get one. I ended up getting the Buick Verano which I am in love with, and all thanks to Smith-Gray and the wonderful people that work there. Used the online chat feature to contact Justin to make sure the car was still there, then took the hour drive north to see the car. Justin had it ready waiting for me and in 5 minutes I was test driving it. Justin has an engaging personality and there was zero pressure. I felt like I was getting a very honest representation of the car from him.Slept on it and called back in the morning to say Id take it. When we went to pick it up, it was freshly washed. He understood that this car was primarily for my wife, so there was a flower on the dash for her, and I think he spent at least a half hour going over every feature with her. A very nice touch.DJ in the finance department took care of everything else and Im not sure how the transaction could have gone any smoother. They shocked me by beating the financing rate of my credit union that has never been beat in the past.Weve had the Cruze for 2 weeks and love it. Do I recommend these guys? A big hearty HELL YEAH!

Having visited several area dealerships and getting more than a little frustrated I stopped by Smith Gray Buick GMC. Boy what a difference! I met salesman Mark Laperriere who patiently worked with me in finding the exact vehicle I was looking for as well as working out a very competitive deal (my purchase involved a trade). Mark is very knowledgeable, professional and a good guy. The dealership is family owned and does not conduct itself with High Pressure tactics....much appreciated. We are in awe of the phenomenal experience we had with the people from Smith-Gray. We say this because we were treated as if we had already been customers and they knew us well. In actuality, David Merritt, D.J. Reagle, Justin Gray, and David Gray did not know us at all. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. To begin, my husband was driving by the dealership coming home from a golf tournament on a Sunday and noticed some Buick Encores on the lot. I called on Monday morning and spoke to David Merritt regarding the Encores they had and what I was looking for. He told me they didnt have what I wanted, but would look for me. Within an hour, I received a phone call from David telling me he found the Encore I was looking for. He asked if I had a trade-in and I told him the VIN number. He called me back with an offer. It was higher than what we wanted and we came back with a counter-offer. David Gray accepted our offer without having seen our trade-in. He also did not require a $500 deposit. When we arrived on Friday, the washed Encore was waiting for us with a rose on the dashboard. D.J. was very efficient and informative when reviewing the financial documents. It is also evident that Smith-Gray values their customers time. D.J. began showing us the Encore and explaining some things about it while Justin was with another customer. As soon as Justin was done, he took over the explanation and showed us how to use all of the gadgets. David Gray joined the party in the car and wanted to make sure that all of our needs were met. We would definitely recommend Smith-Gray Buick GMC as the place to go to purchase a car. The reason we are in awe of our experience at Smith-Gray is because we had conversations with the dealership in the Erie area where we had originally purchased our car six years ago and where all the service had been completed. They would not meet our offer the same offer that David Gray accepted and we would have had to make the $500 deposit. The dealership in Erie did not treat us as if they knew us. June 2015Update: November 2016This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Smith-Gray in 16 months! We came back to them this time because we had such a fantastic experience the first time. Justin Gray did not disappoint. He provided us with a terrific experience! He had the patience of a saint as he positively handled my numerous texts, calls, and emails wondering when my 2017 Envision was going to arrive. It is worth the 45 minute drive to deal with pleasant, polite, and professional people!

We first saw a vehicle we liked on Smith Grays website. We couldnt get there until a couple days later. Unfortunately, the one we wanted was gone the next day. It had sold the night before. We called and talked to Justin Gray, and decided to go see him anyway. So glad we did! He told us he would find what we are looking for and to give him a few days. As promised, he found us our 2015 GMC Terrain. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. From Justin, to DJ Reagle who helped with final paperwork to Mark Leperriere who went through the vehicle with us to explain all the features. Justin was off the day we picked up our vehicle, so Mark stepped in. I dont want to leave out Mike Stevenson, he helped direct us to DJ to finalize everything! Great group of guys! Lady hit my truck, had Smith Gray do body work for me in the past, they did a good job so I picked me again to fix it. After having my truck for 5 weeks to fix 4K in damages I was told by my adjustor to go to the owner because that was a ridiculous wait time. I went and met w David Gray who is an exceptional man and obviously cares a lot about making things right for his customers he made a phone call and I had my truck put back the next day. I appreciate him being on top of it for me, only problem is they gave my truck back it was missing one of the custom weather tec mats, the drive side one, where they did the work. I called twice and left two messages for Ashley the body shop manager who has not called me back, when I dropped my truck off it had both mats and when it was returned it only had one. Where’s my other mat? Why won’t you get back to me out this? Also they did a great job putting my truck back together but did not fix the alignment which is way off from the accident. I won’t be going back here god forbid I have another accident, 5 week wait wasn’t even the issue it’s my property that’s missing after is spending 5 weeks in their possession.

They tell you one price and when they write it up they change the price. Watch what your signing and keep one hand on your walletMake sure you read what your signing especially if you get the extended warranty. You might end up paying an extra few thousand over the loan

Hi just got my 2010 chevy malilbu back from the dealership and had the worst experience. They told me that there was a ton of metal in the oil filter and the crank shaft valve was restricted. They caused a couple of problems. 1. When I called back about returning the rental they automatically told me we changed the oil twice and cleaned the crankshaft valve. They didnt even ASK FOR MY PERMISSION to do so. But young as I am and not knowing whats going on I just agreed to what they said. I came the next day to pick it up and they told me they STILL dont know where the metal is coming from but they charged me 710.00 for changing the oil twice and fixing a valve. The total parts came to 136.00 and labor came to 533. Which is outrageous. Im very not happy with smith gray. 1. They didnt ask permission. 2. They gave me the car back and still didnt fully fix the car and charged me that much. And 3. The mechanic was shocked with all the metal in oil filter that he told me to trade the car! What kind of mechanic tells me we fixed a few things but dont know if we really fixed it all and charged me 700 dollars for it then tells me to trade it in but not here and laughs about it??
