The day we were leaving for vacation we discovered an issue with our boat. No one locally had the part we needed to repair the boat, so we could enjoy the boat on vacation. My husband found this place online, and Josh in Parts to be very helpful and knowledgeable. They had the part we needed and reasonably priced, and I found a couple of other items we’ve been looking for too! We definitely appreciate the kind and quick service, that saved our vacation and we’ll definitely be back!

Always drove past this place but never stopped in, now im kicking myself for that. This location is quicker and easier to get to than West Marine for me and the service was outstanding. From the second I walked in the door everyone was extremely helpful from the lady running the register to Josh in the back who helped me find the parts I needed. Definitely recommend this place and they will be my 1st stop from now on.

Love this place! Hate buying stuff online as it means local jobs and businesses do not get supported. Boathouse has great people, huge inventory, and very fair prices. Cannot believe some of the negative reviews. Sounds like some may have dealt with a bad employee which can happen anywhere. Did you talk to the manager to seek resolution? We were completely lost! We took an Uber from our hotel to get on our dinghy and go back to our catamaran, only to find our dinghy stabbed to death 6 times and the motor stolen. We had no way back to the boat. We were lucky to find a dinghy at West Marine,but they didnt have a gasoline engine. Mike called Boathouse Discount Marine, LLC and I dont know how we got so lucky to meet Bill Parker. He had the engine ready for us when we arrived. The paperwork was completed quickly and he even gave us a ride back to where our boat was stranded without us. I cant believe how amazing he was but Im so glad that he came into our lives. Completely and utterly grateful, Jacqui and Mike!

Dont go there they just riped me off and didnt do any work but they told me I have a bad ignition so I said replace it and they said no we dont work on Johnson and evanrude then charger me $75.00 for that and didnt even fix anything I get the boat home it was a cut wire on the harness up by ignition boat runs now I called them up Steve there tells me Im sorry after I tell him I fixed it and it was a cut wire and he said Im sorry again stay away from there thanks yall find a different boat shop You have been warned

These guys have a ton of parts. Got a water pump and thermostats for my 150 Yamaha ox66 in five minutes start to finish. West Marine left me on phone for ten minutes earlier in the day so I called Boathouse Marine and they had the parts on hand. Great guys, very helpful and there cool guys. West Marine employees are grumpy and just put you on hold.5 Starts all the way!!!!

They use to be a super cheap surplus marine supplier, not so much anymore...BUT the quality & quantity of their offerings has vastly improved! Closer to the beach then WM so much more convient 2go2 4me. Can be hit or miss 4 finding what I need but worth a stop. Been a customer for 20 years, their longevity is testimony that they are offering goods & services that we need!

The customer service here is very inconsistent. I have been in here about 5 times. I found most staff has a bad attitude. Called about a return They said no problem come on in and trade. Drove 30 mins to the store to be told I could not return it. I will not return to this store

I like the parts department fine. They helped me before on answering questions, etc. The service department is another story. I needed the heads taken off my Yamaha, 2008 engine to remove parts of the impeller that had disintegrated (just bought the boat in 2017). The warning buzzer sounded and no stream coming out. Guy told me it was done and they couldnt find anything wrong. Charged me $42 and they did nothing. Assumed it would be hard to work on since a 2008 but the engine was spotless - only run in fresh water. I dont think they even looked at the motor. Anchorage Yacht did well by me.

I drive over 30 minutes each way just to get the parts and service that I have come to expect from Boathouse. Their staff is well informed and helpful, their prices are as good or better than everyone else. The best part is the inventory, they have a large selection and a large stock of most of it.

I have used Discount Marine for years and they have always price matched with their competitors but recently I have noticed higher prices and less friendly service. I will not ever do business with this company again. I would recommend Carp marine in grant. You dont have to ask them to match prices because they are always less expensive on everything and carry a huge inventory.

Great place for parts, but my experience with getting boat fixed was awful. Didnt do 90% of what I requested. Told me I didnt have a live well pump to be repaired, I assure you I do. Told me battery switch might be bad, on day I arrived to pickup. At home I found and repaired in line fuse that puts power to controls. Switch was fine. Boat covered in foot prints. Told me unit not burning oil, I can physically see reservoir draining when I run engine. And they had my boat almost a month.The list goes on. They replaced live well drain hose (for the well they said was without a pump) and replaced tilt trim assembly, a used one I had to obtain for them because they wouldnt provide. I will never take a boat there again.

Ive used Boathouse for service on my Rosborough RF246 that has both a Yamaha 150 hp and a Yamaha 8 hp. Very pleased with the quality of service. Later, when I decided to sell the boat, the prospective buyer called Boathouse to arrange engine inspection. They said it wasnt necessary to me to bring the boat in as they gave report to the buyer from the records they had. They could have just had me bring the boat to their shop and charge the buyer for a survey. Honorable, honest and competent folks!

I took my boat to boathouse for an issue I was having with my motor. They told me that they took the boat for a test run. When I got home I noticed several scrapes down the side of the hull when I was cleaning it. I suspect they hit the the dock. I know it wasnt there before as I meticulously clean my boat after every use. The scratches are deep in the gel coat and wont buff out. If you have a nice boat I suggest you dont take it to them.

I have bought parts and equipment from Boat House for over 20 years. They continually have the best inventory and reasonable prices. I have bought engine parts, boat accessories, trailer parts and more and have never been disappointed.

These individuals have never been rude or unhelpful. They generally have what I need and will order it willingly if necessary. The reviewer that noted that they were extremely rude and unhelpful must be the South end of a northbound mule. He either had an attitude or someone posting without any knowledge or may be did not even go there.

UPDATE AUGUST 2018: This used to be my favorite store in Brevard for any needs for my boat, but now I dont think Ill be back. Today was my first time back to the store in a few months and quite a lot has changed at this location. Their inventory and selection isnt what it used to be (it has dropped drastically), pricing is wildly inconsistent from what it says on the price tag on the hook versus what the product actually is, some of the employees will breeze right by you without seeing if you need any help forcing you to track them down to get some help. I got the feeling that it was a bother for them to come help me. Your mileage may vary, but just keep an eye on your receipt to be sure things line up like they should and dont expect a warm friendly welcome when you walk through the door.

I have been using Boathouse Discount in Melbourne for about two years. The parts team are always helpful in directing to the items I need. They also provided some very wise technical guidance on the oil to us in my 2-stroke Yamaha Salt Water Series motor.For service, I have also used them for normal maintenance (e.g. 100-hour service) and they do a great job and at very reasonable price. I have also used them for work on replacing digital instruments and repairs on the trailer - primarily replacing corroded taillights and replacing the wiring harness. The latter was just done. I did have one issue with the harness.When I picked up the boat/trailer the lights didnt work - odd since the harness was just replaced. The cause of the problem was the wire on the right marker light was nicked. When the technician pulled it out it arched. Interestingly when I looked on the work order it stated they had to replace that marker light. After it was replaced the lights still wouldnt work when connected to my car. When the lights were connected to a battery the lights worked. The techs started checking the fuses in my car and could not find a blown fuse. I needed to get the trailer to the boat yard as it was getting dark. So I told them I would check my car at home. When I got home, I found the blown fuse, replaced it and the next day checked my trailer. Sure enough it worked.When I called and told the service manager what happened his comments suggested the problem rested with me and not the fact the tech arched the marker light that blew the fuse. The more appropriate response to me would have been Great news, We apologize for the inconvenienceOther than that one exchange Boathouse does great work and very helpful. My trust has waned a little but not enough to stop doing business there.

I love this place. After I went here the first time, I never went to West again. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Just choose a few items and compare prices to West and youll be hooked.

Once was my go to Marine store. Now have some one at engine parts desk who has no knowledge other than what the computer tells him. Very disappointing. Hopefully they will get someone with better knowledge.

This place does sloppy work!! They Jerry-Rigg fixes that in the long run cost more to fix. STEVE in service makes it sound like they will support the work they do, when in fact they wont warranty their work. I brought them my boat, and nearly $5000 dollars later my family still hasnt got the opportunity to enjoy the boat. I had to drag the boat 3 hours away to the other coast to have a master mechanic fix their Mess! The mechanic could not see any evidence that many of the items that I was billed for were actually done!! Do not waste your time or money taking your boat here for repair!! Trust me your boat and pocket book will thank you for going elsewhere!!!!

They ripped me off! Over charged me... They gave me one price for parts in the back of the store at parts counter and when I went to check out in the front of their store they charged me more! When I inquired about the amount they charged me, i was told that their system isnt updated or maybe they changed the prices in the system and there is nothing they can do about it???? You mean the same system they just told me the price for part off of!? Who magically changed the pricing in the time it took to walk from the back of store to the front!? Makes no damn sense! Not cool at all especially after I was sent over by another marine company who offers the parts at half the cost but didnt have them in stock.

I have had two boats serviced at Boathouse and have been very satisfied with the work. The price has been reasonable for the work done. My previous mechanic recammeded them when I bought my first Verado and he said he still recommends them for the people with Verados.
