My wife and I bough a house here in Melbourne about a year ago and recently we noticed that the big bay window in our library had cracked and needed to be fixed as soon as possible. I called around to a couple different places and when I spoke with Bailes glass they were able to give me a quote over the phone and come out the next day to measure. Now a week later we have new glass and everything’s looks great!

We highly recommend for any and all businesses. We just had two metal doors replaced with glass doors on our office building. Ron and his staff we amazing. The installers came on-time, worked diligently, and cleaned up beautifully. You guys have found yourselves customers for life thank you!

I ordered a small glass shelf and it was ready in 2 days. From the moment I called to find out if they could help me to picking it up, their customer service was beyond expectation. Very friendly and personable. Unfortunately, after I brought it home, I realized I needed it 1/4” shorter. I called and explained what I needed and was told to bring it back anytime and they’d take care of it. I took it back, waited for it to have the excess taken off, was ready to pay for the labor and was told there wouldn’t be an additional charge. For my mistake. If I ever have any glass needs they will be my first call!

We returned to this great business for our next mirror project, collaborating with Ridleys Framing. We are expecting perfection this time around too. Their new location is convenient with plenty of parking.

I was given a written quote of $275 to remove 3 tall wall mirrors. I spoke with Ron, the owner, and asked if he could help a little on the price as I thought it would be a fairly quick, easy job. Instead, he raised the price to $300 stating how long the mirrors had been up suggesting how hard it would be remove. But I needed it done on Monday, the day was Friday and he accommodated, so it was set. Meanwhile, another glass contractor quoted me $200, which to me seemed reasonable, and stated possibly a little less if job went fast. But that came in too late, over the weekend. No choice but to honor the 9am appt. The job did go quick, only taking the 2 guys about 1 hour, so I again asked for a little help but got a flat NO. The guys did a good job but I thought Bailes was very expensive! Recommend getting multiple estimates and allowing plenty of time to receive them.

Super happy with Bailes! I needed 6 glass cabinet panels for a restoration project, and they were completed within 24 hours. The glass quality was great, way better than what we had removed! All for $60, can’t complain.

I broke my fireplace glass I called in the measurements Bailes got it perfect! Ill definitely use them again it came in two days earlier than they said it would its not that easy to get tempered glass cut the way you want it. I really appreciate them

Needed a very large piece of 1/8 picture frame glass cut. Called multiple businesses in the Melbourne area for prices and Bailes was significantly less expensive. The gal on the phone was also most polite and friendly—I really appreciated that. Will absolutely buy from Bailes again.

This company is the real deal. They took took all our mirrors down (previous install from other company), ensured safety backing was in place, reinstalled, and added two new mirrors in a matter of hours. AND, they came out after the install and fixed a problem that was the result of original installers mistake. This is the kind of business we appreciate having in our community! We recommend using them.

I tried to order glass from another local company. Not a large piece. They told me it would be ordered the next day and be a week to get. I decided to call Bailes. I chose this company based on positive reviews but I would absolutely NOT recommend them to anyone. They were not on time, the actual charge was higher than the initial quote (which was based on their actual measurements at my house), and I am not pleased at all with the workmanship or cleanliness of the job. The installers were rude, speaking negatively under their breath, left broken glass when then left, and 1 side of the glass they replaced is not sealed.UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I received a call from Ron the following day. While I appreciate the effort to try and rectify my complaints, his opening approach to the conversation was defensive and dismissive. I added 1 star for the effort, however it seems the whole company could benefit from training in customer service, following up when they say so, price consistency and professionalism.

What an Amazing company to work with. I had a big glass window that was broken and needed someone to fix. I called multiple window installer for weeks but no one would come fix it. They would promise but not deliver. In frustration, I finally called Bailes Glass. There someone (Mr. Bailes) himself picked up the phone. He promised me that he will fix it tomorrow and asked for the address. I thought it would be another wild goose chase. But to my surprise, they arrived the next day, fixed the window and went away without even asking for payment. They sent me an invoice by email.This is perhaps the best company you can trust when it comes to windows and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I get a lot of cabinet door replacement glass done. And they are always super quick, usually same day service, and helpful, and super reasonably priced. I always recommend them to friends and clients!

I had a sliding glass door that I needed replaced bc it was failing. Bailes glass said they would come out and replace it for me. The first day they came to replace it, they picked up the glass and brought it to my home. They attempted to remove the glass in the panel to replace it, but were unable to. They damaged the panel with their tools during this time. They told me that they needed the full panel and that it would be easy to replace that. I had it ordered and they came back another day to install it. After a few hours of pulling and tugging at the door, they said they couldn’t take it out. Meanwhile, the one guy is cursing with frustration and the other is vaping. They leave and take the panel back to the place they brought it from. Within a few weeks I get a bill for $300 for “traveling” charges. I contacted the owner, Ron, who tells me he will half the charge to $150. They never did the work! I paid the $150, but they never did the work they were supposed to do. They did leave me with a damaged panel. I called another company to come out. They came and evaluated how to remove the existing panel and replace with the new one. They were able to complete the job in a professional manner within an hour and a half. I would not recommend Bailes Glass.

Over the past 2 1/2 years I have called BAILES GLASS three times for broken windows. Each time I’ve had excellent service beginning with my calls to the office and each time the service was immediate and excellent. I now need new shower doors and had no idea where to get them. When I checked online and realized a glass company also does shower doors, I called Bailes. In the past I had called others and they did not show up or were too busy to deal with my situation in a timely way. Thank you, Bailes Glass. I am excited to get new shower doors! I’m hoping to get a dog door too!

I had a window get broken by accident on a Friday afternoon after 3pm the day before a birthday party for my daughter. I called Baile’s to see if they could get us taken care of and, within 45 minutes John and Paul arrived. They were very fast and very friendly! They completed the job and got us squared away and with no problem and for a very reasonable price as well. I’ll very highly recommend Baile’s as well as John and Paul!

I recently had a break in at my home. They busted my glass door on the porch. I called 5 companies & none of them were sympathetic with my dilemma. I had no money to pay for this upfront. When I contacted Bailes Glass & I was crying, the young lady Kaitlyn told me not to worry her guys are going to come right out and replace my glass and I could pay in 2 weeks. She was more concerned for my families safety than her monetary gain. I highly recommend Bailes Glass. I will be using them for all my glass needs. They are the Best!

Called them at 8 am. They were here by 9 am. They fixed my window, cleaned up broken glass and were gone in 45 minutes. No problems, no hassle, they just fixed my problem. I will definitely make them my go to glass repair company. 5 stars and I am not easy to please!

Fantastic company! I was given the go around by another glass company (Moores Glass) that took over 5 days to cut a simple mirror and that company didnt even get it finished. Called Bailes Glass and talked to Caitlynn who was friendly and professional. After speaking briefly with the owner, she and Ron had my simple mirror cut in 10 minutes and ready to go. Fabulous people, great service, and I would highly recommend their company. The mirror was perfect and Ron helped me load it in my car. I will be using them whenever I need glass or mirror services.

I called last Saturday for an estimate to replace a window. On Monday a service tech arrived and took measurements and told me we would have the estimate on Tuesday. Late Tuesday I called and was told the data had not reached my desk yet. When it does well call you. Its now Friday evening and I havent received an estimate. The window is broken..there is no sense of urgency or response from Bailes. Were contacting someone else.

We had an appointment for this company to come and look at damaged glass in our home from the hurricane. My husband and I both changed our schedules to be home at this time. Bailes Glass did not bother to show up or call to cancel. Enough said.
