This place has absolutely everything you need! When you go there you will get lost! Since they have a big choice of everything it is hard to decide what to buy. 😀

The store has a pretty big parking lot. I love shopping here for basically anything to repair the home you can basically find anything regarding constructions items. The last time I visited the store was already bringing out their summer items, such as decorations for your garden or patio, Pool Supplies and chemicals. Not too many Planters but lots off the seeds that you can possibly imagine to start growing them in your garden. They also have a lots of live plants and fountains for the garden.

Perfect place to get all your diy needs. Paint, shelves, gardening supplies, etc.! Friendly staff and the store is always tidy.

Nice place. Come here sometimes for lunch and its usually pretty quiet. After 5 PM it gets crowded quickly especially at the bar.Wings are pretty damn good but last time I came they needed a little more cooking. They were a little pink by the bone.The pot roast nachos are on point and good. Not real authentic type stuff but still hits the spot.Every time I come here Ive been happy.

Dont even waste your time with the store manager, no, go see Juan. My family, we use to shop at Home Depot exclusively, not any more. Juan.... I shop at Lowes and Home Depot a lot of time but I was surprised when I saw this Menards in Illinois when I was on vacation. It is a huge store with a lot of things that I may not see in Lowes or Home Depot. There are two stories and two special escalators that you can keep your shopping cart going up or down with you with a specific design for locking the shopping cart wheels automatically. Everything you buy will get 11% rebate online later if there are no special offers rebate 20% or more... I dont find any Menards in East coast where I live, I hope one day they will open their stores in here like as Ikea just made it in Norfolk, Virginia.

The worst place with worst customer service. And bad management team. I bought materials for almost $2000. And on. Top of that they were charges for extra stuff that I didnt bought. They were just stealing money. I have to talked to the manager Angelo about. He returned my money to my account with really bad attitude. Angelo his name the manger on spot with really bad he shouldnt be a manger period. They dont know anything about customer service. I tried to call head manger steve he was worst than him. I dont how they hire these people. Guys please be aware of Angelo and Steve theyre two mangers there. I cant believe they are actually mangers. If any body wants to do business there. Trust me u will be ripped because of them. Angelo and Steve. Angelo and Steve. Im gonna file a big complaint on them. Because Im fighting for my rights. Again Angelo and Steve they are two bad mangers worst mangers ever. They shouldnt be in this position at all.

Menards, what can be said about this super big box hardware, food, appliance and so much more organization. Awesome is probably an understatement. Great prices even during a pandemic and always going the extra mile to assist customers any way possible. You just got to appreciate Menards as Im sure most of the customers do.

Excellent experience at this store. They had everything in stock that we were looking for and June in the hardware department was very helpful. She went above and beyond the call of her job and helped us to find exactly what we were looking for. The seasonal display of Summer outdoor furniture was excellent and they had a great selection of lawn chairs and patio furniture to choose from. I appreciate that Menards has very fair pricing for good quality furniture and merchandise.

Huge warehouse, 2 floors of wall to wall supplies for your home, or project. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Much appreciated guidance from the workers on my sliding door project and saved money when compared to the competition. Worth the drive, great experience over all. Good job Menards 👏 👍

I think Menards is underrated when it comes to the variety of products they sell. Their prices are extremely competitive and I would recommend shopping there for all of your household Improvement needs.

Kinda confused, have a must wear mask sign but two people are not wearing there mask. Was about to tell an employee, and they had theirs down 9/11/2021 at 9am Also after said this, apparently vendors too.

The worst management ever.Lazy and ignorant employees.They are all acting like they are angry and no even one smile. You have to review your bill because they do a lot of mistakes and I had over charge for $287.And over charge for renting a truck plus no buddy try even offer or help me loading my purchase to the truck. I spoke with Angelo and Steve the managers and I didnt see any sense of customer service skolls or even way to do something instead of acting like ignorant. As I side good luck managers lucky you that you filled with hates and anger and this is the back side of your management culture .

This Menards has the worst customer service. The attitudes from Menards employees are horrible. Asst. mgr Angel is the worst. You are on Angels time. He is slow and can not articulate process or procedures. These employees should be retrained from top to bottom.

They have everythingwell organized and clean.

Do not place any sort of special order at this location. I ordered my Klearvue cabinets here and it was a huge ordeal a few years ago. I then ordered a vinyl fence from Menards and was given the wrong panels. After calling, I requested the wrong panels be picked up and the correct panels delivered with no charge, which Menards accepted. The delivery driver dropped the palette of panels on my driveway from the forklift, cracking 5 of the panels and then I had to help him move the panels into my garage and clean up the debris from the crushed palette and vinyl fence cracking. After this, I again called the store and told that my 5 correct panels would be delivered after 3pm so that I could inspect them and make sure they were the right panels after the previous ordeal. He manager assured me this would be fine, after swearing at the scheduling coordinator for some reason. Of course, Menards doesnt communicate at all so the delivery driver showed up at my house at 10:30am and Im at work. I called the store and spoke to a different manager (not sure how many they have) who said he knew nothing about my poor experience. Now Ive had to deal with two different calls from various people who do the delivery service for Menards asking why they cant leave the panels in my yard. When talking with the store manager, I asked to be connected to a regional office, the manager stated that he doesnt report to anyone, so I guess my only option is to call corporate. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism with any company and this will be the last time I use Menards for any home improvement project.

This store is HUGE! It must carry just about anything and everything you could need. However, shopping here during Covid is tricky for people who don’t want to be inside a store. They don’t have a curbside pickup. They have an in-store pickup that is in the back...literally the way way way far back of the store, through a manual door and nearly out the back of the building. Why they don’t have people drive to the back to pick up items is a mystery.Conclusion is if you are comfortable nowadays in a store, this store has so much to offer. If you prefer curbside pickup or at least close-to-the-front-door pickup...better take a pass. Have Menards ship your purchases to your home instead.

Very large store! Great staff, very clean and organized.

Good place to do a variety of shopping. Obviously they have building materials. They also have groceries. You never know what new thing youll find that they carry. And, on top of that, you can actually find someone to help you.

Menards in Melrose Park is a huge two story building with a garden section and lumber yard. Anything you need for home improvement projects. The only negative thing I have to say is a lot of times they will advertise specialty items and never have them in stock. You can order to have them delivered to the store for free, but have to pay to ship it to your house.

I bought 1 bundle of shingles at this location on Wednesday, they came in a very thin plastic wrapping which tears up easily, but the time I took them home and found out they are not the right ones and the time I brought them back to Menards the edges were all ripped off because of the cheap plastic cover. The guy at the desk refused to take them back and told me to go sell them somewhere else, how offensive was this statement, I felt really bad that I left the shingles ($53) right there and left the store empty handed and very disappointed

The staff was rude. One employee literally told us they had the item we wanted in stock but didnt know where it was, she then walked away. We thought she went to ask for help but she started talking to other people. We left without the item we drove there for & will most likely never visit this location again. 2 stars because it was clean & otherwise well organized.

Great location that is always well stocked. Employees are very helpful and its easy to navigate this store. Parking is plenty. Menards has an outstanding seasonal section and also they have great toy selection in comparison to the other Home Improvement stores. Menards is my top choice for Home Improvement and for Hardware. Also I go here for seasonal items first as they always have a large section of seasonal items

Always find what I need, I live in the city but usually have to go to a couple of different menard stores before I find what I need.

They need to do a better job shoveling the parking lot, my car was skidding . And they need to invest in plastic dividers to physically separate customer from cashier. People still do not understand what 6 feet away means, and cashiers do not say anything to them ! This is going to continue to spread .. DO YOUR PART MENARDS !!

Really nice store. Nice staff, large selection of everything, always enough cashiers on hand, with lots of secure parking. This store was previously in Maywood/Melrose Park. The store was put up for sale. There were signs posted the store would remain the area. We customers were skeptical. The Menard Organization opened a new store down several blocks down the street. It has to be one of the largest and best supplied Menards in the country. Customers are loyal and they believe in Menards. Great store!!!

Your store is very clean. But could you get carts that work correctly? And I would say only about 60% of the people were wearing their masks correctly!

The pet section is awesome. I couldnt find either of my pets brand of food and they have it here. We will b here once a month for our pets!!!

Worst customer help. However, as an update, was contacted directly by the General Manager in regard to this an another comment and was very pleased to get the item at the same price a week later. This is attention to detail by the management and it is refreshing. I am surprised and very satisfied.

Great place to shop! I usually get my bird seed from the grocery store, its nice to grab a reasonably priced bag while Im shopping for tools and painting projects. Their dog supplies isles arent too shabby either! Im a huge fan of the Matrix drill sets, Ive had one since they came out. I finally picked up the saw attachment and cant wait to use it. The staff is usually pretty helpful and knowledgeable and thats also a plus!

People walking around dont help you when you need help. You ask him if something is weird its supposed to be they tell you they dont know and keep walking.

Surprisingly they only had a few things we needed. Asked one of the workers where cement was all he said was outside, and pay for it in the corner if the store over there. We went to Lowes instead.

Ripping of the people. I got the item was 49,99. And they told me it’s 59,99. Then Manager Elizabeth came with the terrible attitude,like i came ask for the change. They call the sale person and in the end they fix price ( had to go twice to check the price and take the pictures ) I’m telling it here because it’s not the first time. They ripped me twice, when I didn’t pay attention in the register. And manager Elizabeth was way not helpful. So be careful.

Charged a restocking fee of 25% after a special order item was delayed by two months and I attempted to cancel the order multiple times.

I am very upset with Menards,it was my favorite store .I lost 4 hundred dollars in rebate checks and they let somebody cash them in because the didnt check Id. (supposed policy).

So many employees to ignore you. I went there to get shelving and other odds and ends. I would say half the employees were helpful. And the others acted like i was interrupting them. Mostly, the wood was terrible. Every piece in the stack of lumber was broken in some way or another.

Having never been to one before, I’m pleasantly surprised at the selection! And groceries too!?

They had everything I needed, but Im doing some repair on my friends apt building, and I have been able to get my supplies and go to customer service and him be able to pay over the phone with his credit card, they told us no. Hes 90 and on quarantine, and it took me 3 1/2 hrs to collect all the supplies. That was a little frustrating. So Im not really happy.

Went looking at Menards for a piece of 6x6x8 lumber and found it was triple the normal price almost $50 for one piece of wood. Went back again to get a 2x4x8, over eleven dollars. Maybe we should all stop buying lumber for a few weeks, let inventory build up and get prices back in line to where they should be !

Customer service was not helpful. Had to go online. Understanding the associates are new to the job, I would have appreciated speaking with a manager as requested.

Place is massive and has everything possibly needed for a project. You can even grocery shop here. Cart escalators and elevator for the second floor because I guess they didnt have enough room on the first floor. Love this store

I love the fact that I can find just about anything here. Menards has such a great variety!Took off one star because of some poor customer service:I asked if they had a 10 amp electric tiller in the stockroom and was told that if it wasnt on the floor under its tag, then there were no more. On their website it said 15 were in stock at that location. I was informed it was a mistake and that they probably hadnt entered the days sales into the system yet. Really, you sold 15, 10 amp electric tillers in one day? I know better when shopping in large stores, so I looked around on the top of the shelving units nearby and lo and behold I, the unpaid self service customer, found a whole stack of them. So I asked him to get one down for me and he did. But do you think he took a couple more down for the next person looking for them? I mean, they apparently sell 15 a day, right? No, he did not.And to top off my day, I was looking for a spool of 50-100 feet of 1/4 inch bungee cord. I didnt know if they carried it but figured I would take a shot while I was there. I asked at the desk in the tool area where rope and bungee cords are stocked and was told they didnt carry it that way. So I asked where the bungee cords were so I could try something else. I went there, looked at the bottom of the shelves across from the bungee cords, just below all the spools of rope, and guess what? They DO carry spools of 100 feet of 1/4 inch bungee cord! Exactly what I was looking for. Good price too!There was one young lady who walked me directly to a the flower seeds I was looking for. I wish now I had gotten her name to mention here. Thanks unknown and competent salesperson!Moral of the story for you, Menards: teach your people to try a little harder! Maybe theyre too worried about stocking shelves or meeting quotas, but service shouldnt suffer. Youve got a lot of great stuff for sale, help me find it!2nd moral of the story for you, shoppers: dont let one employee convince you that your item is not in stock. Be persistent and you might get lucky!

There a wonderful and helpful store.. The plumbing department has a wonderduf women as manager there that is very helpful and nice.. Goes out of her way to make sure u find what u need.
