It is one of those places where once you go there you will ask yourself how did I go my whole life not knowing about this?!.The donuts are always fresh and great. The owners are great too, very friendly.The prices are also very good. I have never had a donut here that was not good.They dont focus on designer donuts with bacon and other off the wall toppings. They do the classics perfected.

Nothing like waking up for fresh made Dunk Donuts. Small hole in the wall bakery is open for dine-in and carry out. So many great flavors to choose from. Their signature Blueberry sells out quickly. Tried the long johns, glazed and double chocolates. Sweet tooths beware... the birthday cake sprinkle is frosted and not iced. Very fresh, airy and not greasy. A must stop if in the area.

I’ve been going to this place on & off (cause ya can’t live on doughnuts! 🤤 Lol) for over 20 years & my parents (who still live in Melrose Park) would get us doughnuts from there often on the weekends…. so our family has been going here for ages! 😂Anyhow, Chang always gave us free doughnuts with every dozen so a dozen in her shop equals 17!!!!Though Covid times have been hard and most times nowadays you’ll only get your 12-dozen! This place reminds me of old fashioned back in the day sweet goodness. They have a wide variety of doughnuts. They are really good. I discovered this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. There are other popular donut places around in Suburban neighborhoods but I found THIS one to be the best by far. They are always consistent and delicious. I cant pick a favorite. They have THEE best toasted coconut. The donuts are flavor and delicious. Youre sure to find a favorite. I just recommend getting there early as once they sell out, they dont make more. I was informed that they start baking at 4am!!!

Very little filling in all the jelly type donuts we bought. Cake doughnuts are better than their yeast ones. We arrived around 8:25am and they were out of the apple fritters and blueberry donuts so get there even earlier than that if you want more variety to choose from.

One of the dirtiest donuts in Chicago. By dirty, I mean you will feel your heart lub-dubbing with the weight of oleoaginous blood when you finish this unctuous treat. I have lived in Chicago long enough to say I love em with a cup of coffee, but I would say buy your coffee elsewhere. Dont try to eat them after a day, unless your looking to add to your depression.The ladies who work there are the real treasure of the business.

And altho I no longer work in the area, its totally worth the drive And the calories to come out to MP for their raised and cake doughnuts. Coffees damn good too! Go to Dunk early before someone snaps up the last two Blueberry cake donuts ( like the guy in front of me just did) .Good stuff. Good value too !

Dunk Donuts is the best donut place I’ve ever been to and for multiple reasons. The owner is a very lovely woman and is overall too kind, which is very hard to find in the business industry. In addition to that, their doughnuts are superbly delicious, in fact the best I’ve ever had! On top of that, the prices are outstandingly low. Overall, it is the best donut place I’ve ever been to, and I can personally assure you that if you ever go there, which you should, you would also think that it is the best donut shop you’ve ever been to!

Best donuts super friendly

I have been coming to Dunk Donuts since I was in grade school and Im 73 years old. The owners have changed, but the recipes have stayed the same.These are the real deal donuts. You dont see flavors like salmon or swiss chard! There are not a dozen squirt bottles with jellies, almond paste and passion fruit. There are fabulous donuts that dont need to be tinkered with to be the best.

After reading other stellar reviews, I decided to check it out.1. THE DONUTS ARE AMAZING!!! I went on a Wednesday morning around 8am and they are super fresh and delicious.2. Price point is extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the donuts. FYI- it is cash only.3. I expected there to be a sweet lady behind the counter based on other reviews, but I was still blown away. I had my infant son with me in his car seat and the sweet lady walked my donuts out to my car with me in the 25 DEGREE COLD so I didnt have to leave my son in the car alone. I didnt ask for help, but she noticed that I didnt have an extra hand, so she offered and even though I declined (who expects this kind of service at a donut shop?!), she (politely) insisted, and I was incredibly grateful.

I always stopped and got donuts on my way back from hosp.. I loved them.. We moved in 2007 out of state and I just saw they are still open. I went there for at least 3 decades & my friends. The BEST EVER.

I had ordered a dozen donuts and received 2 free. Also, I ordered a iced coffee that was right on point. Dunk Donuts is a local treasure! I grew up with 24-hour donut shops, and Dunk is still open most of the time (I think they close for a few hours Sunday night). Their donuts are wonderful. I especially love the buttermilk ones and the crullers. The apple fritters, when you can get them, easily feed two. Just writing the words, apple fritters, makes me want to go buy some right now - theyre that delicious.One thing I find surprising is that the long frosted donuts dont have any kind of filling - theyre just a big donut. Not that theres anything wrong with a big donut; just know that they arent filled.
