I find the place very well informed and have high capacity of stock of the products. They really treat you well and try to make deals with you. Amazing place and amazing price.
Took a minute to be helped, but once I was helped I knew anything and everything about the gun I wanted to purchase. Incredibly helpful staff. Great people and place to shop all around.
Always have a long wait and the price could be lower because the same amok can be cheaper at other locations. I come here sometimes cause its ready convenience when Im around town and going to get a sandwich or the post office ! Its great to be able to get some extra ammo just in case, I buy atleast one box a day no matter where I am and sometimes I end up getting it here
Great business for all types of firearms and ammunition and other firearm needs, Great variety of brands and quality and very knowledgeable sales people. One of my favorite people to work with to get honest and helpful information is James. I really like this business and their service. You respect them and they will respect you. They know their business and they are willing to help you if you ask questions and show interest. Thank them for her service and appreciate their knowledge and support. Great business and a great variety of all types of firearms. Simply the best
They have quite a bit of stuff in stock but very expensive. The problem is with the employees are devoid of human interaction. They give one worded responses or ignore you completely when you try being polite towards them. Not sure if they hate their job or just having a bad day.
Ive been going to them since April 2014 and I have nothing good to say about the employees. They are rude and pretentious. I keep going back only because they have a large selection and its convenient. Strict professionals are just fine but, not flat out jerks.
Good lordt I’m thankful that I came to read the reviews first..!! Because I hate dealing with rude people. I was told about this store and was going to visit this week.! But no thank you I’ll spend my money somewhere else! I just do not do rude ignorant people!
I would not recommend this place to any new comers who are looking for a positive or knowledgeable environment to answers of any firearms, unless they personally know you or have familiar “interests”. Have experienced many of what other past customers have stated experienced there in the past. Was not initially going to make a review but after reading these reviews and experiencing what I have myself. Honestly, don’t waste your time!!!! Spend your hard working money on a business who actually wants you to be knowledgeable on their products.
Not friendly, had a long waiting time .please check your gun box for keys when got home no keys
Found the weapon I wanted at a fair price; in and out in no timedespite what some other posters have stated, I was treated professionally and without prejudiceI would give them 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 if I could....
Horrible experience. Grumpy old grouchy men dont go there go across the street to Accurate Tactical Supply. Helpful
If you are looking for ammo this the place to go, they have great pricing
I was going to go there this weekend but after the reviews I’m heading somewhere else. Thanks to the folks who posted about how rude they are. If you don’t have basic manners you have nothing to offer.Cordova store is getting my cash.
Impressive inventory, knowledgable staff, and professional approach to business.
The assistance given here was excellent. The knowledge my son gained was invaluable. The same lessons Ive taught were better received when given/expressed by our salesman/assistant Jason. 😊🇺🇸 His honesty and expertise was well received. My purchase was a reasonably priced one. Id shop there again. 😊
Every time I have been in the store they would acknowledge me and were very helpful. Understand that they only have so many people behind the counter and therefore can only do that number at a time. Also you may not know but Guns and Ammo donate guns, rifles, pistols, ammo, etc. to the Friends of NRA. These donations enable the FNRA to fund the shooting sports for our kids in school. Helping facilitate the shooting sports education provides us with a new crop of students who are trained to handle and shoot firearms safely. Do you not want to expand the firearms knowledge of our youth?? or do you want them to be like many of those on the left who would take our ownership rights away???Use a little common sense when you go to G&A. A little respect and courtesy on your part is normally returned to you with helpful friendly service. If you cop an attitude, I dont know ANYWHERE you can go and be treated in a friendly, helpful manner.Your money spent at G&A is money well spent promoting and furthering our love of firearms. So lighten up with your low ratings and look in the mirror.Respectfully.........
Very rude and do not know what they are talking about they sold me a gun then sold me the wrong magazines for the gun then when I went back to buy ammo they tired to tell me I could not buy ammo then I told them I just bought a gun and that same ammo from them a couple days before do not waste your time with them go to accent guns and loans across the street or go to classic arms in Cordova
Good selection good people good service excellent gunsmith would recommend them to anyone
Fine service, big selection, good people. If you have an attitude, adjust it and you too will find fairness.
I would not recommend this location to anyone they are a rip off they charge you for state fees and even if you have a gun license and TBI doesn’t clear you and it has passed 60 days they keep over 200 of your dollars they are very rude and not to mention not helpful at all and when I told the guy that I will go elsewhere he get agitated and tell me that I will have to do a background anywhere I go in the state of Tennessee which is not true you can’t part of the handgun as long as you have a handgun license and you can register it if you choose to . I did not want to even give a one star here but because of The reviews you have to select one of the stars it was supposed to run this place is not for people when you walk into the location they just sit there and stare at you and do not acknowledge you and want you to talk to them first when they are trying to get your business they are very very lucky that I don’t go to my bank about this because this is ridiculous and when I asked for my receipt a copy of it he refused to give it to me I will never come to this place again and I do not recommend this place at all to anyone
I bought a Glock and I can’t even get it without my receipt this is bs
I saw a couple of reviews saying if your black dont shop there well if youre white you shouldnt shop there either because they are rude and everything is overpriced take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headache
Very knowledgeable, helpful and patient staff! They were very patient in my process of selecting to right gun. I have always had nothing but a positive experience! Highly recommend them
Great inventory. Staff is very knowledgeable. Gunsmith services are very reasonably priced.
They were about 50 dollars less than other places, plus a larger selection. They also do NO tax in December, which helps a lot! Very knowledgeable people. I have bought several guns from them over the last 5 years, always very helpful and professional.
I first went to Guns and Ammo a couple of months ago and found the staff, in particular Jason, to be very helpful and knowledgeable as well as extremely patient while I selected the hand gun I wanted. Since then I have been back several times and have never had a bad experience. Not to mention you cant beat their selection.
Ive been buying guns from this store since 1988 when I got out of the Navy.they used to carry more muzzleloader stuff but for more modern firearms, theyll find what you are looking for. They even post the rules at the door so if you come in smelling like weed or alcohol, you shouldnt expect a warm welcome. They do have to abide by the law to stay in business.
My experience was great . These people are the number one in Memphis and have been for years .I just bought another pistol from them, Sig p238 . They worked with me every way they could, including staying late 45 mins, to get my gun transfer papers in order ..Helped me in many ways that they did not have to . Filling out form, and just general friendly help.I have bought guns and knives, and had them serviced for years by Guns and Ammo .. Now dont get me wrong, I do remember the days when they were a little curt, shall I say . But, they have always come through . .. Try them, they will get it done . Thanks guys ............
I went in early Saturday and the employees were semi-helpful but the reason I went in because I remember they used to have cool different guns that were not anywhere else i could find. Now it seems like they have the same guns every other gun store in Memphis has but with a higher price tag than the other stores.
Horrible customer service. Waited outside 30 minutes to get in. I get in and pick out my firearms and do all the paper work and the cashier tells me “something doesn’t feel right” and ripped my paperwork in half. I don’t have a single thing on my background ! These guys are super lazy and will do anything to save themselves from filling out your paperwork. Use caution!
Long story short I will never do business here again pretty much spent 50$ for them to tell me thay didnt want to sale to me I feel like its somewhat of a scam
Not sure what everybody else experienced in here. I walked in and was greeted and after he finished helping the guy he was with got me set up and explained the difference in materials and iwb holsters. Im very pleased and would recommend them to anyone
Was in there yesterday to get a holster and I had nothing but a great experience. I also found ammo for my pistol so cheap I can afford to practice weekly now. It is a great store with very good prices and quality products. And the prices are very reasonable. They have a new customer and I will likely purchase my next firearm from them. If you are looking for cheap products and cheap prices go to some other store. Also the customer service was excellent, five stars for me.
I have bought 3 weapons there and all 3 times it was a smooth easy experience. Once I was even on a bicycle wearing a neon yellow top and spandex shorts and clicky bike shoes- I wasnt treated any differently. My wife has been there also and has been treated with respect. I am not sure what the problem is that so many people have had- I have never had any problems with the employees or the store. I have seen them taking a lot of time with painstaking respectful explanations for folks of every ethnicity. And their prices were as low or lower as anyone in town for the pistols I wanted.
I dont know what everybody is talking about! Im black and have been buying guns from these people for a while now. Good guns, good people and good service is all Ive ever gotten from them. They sell guns in not the best neighborhood... what do you want them to do make jokes and play around all day? Want a gun? Tell them what you want, ask whatever questions, get checked, pay and go about your day. I love it.
This place and its owners are RACIST. They stereotype and typecast African Americans and IMMEDIATELY ASSUME that any firearm presented for appraisal has been illegally obtained or stolen. I have personally encountered this twice and the people who I have MISTAKENLY referred have experienced the same treatment (except for the Caucasians Ive referred). DONT GO HERE IF YOURE BLACK. They always find a way to turn you around because of the darkness of your skin and the stereotypes you may fall into because of it; when they SHOULD be embracing the opportunity to make money like a REAL BUSINESS would.
I dont understand what all the fuss is about. I have heard about their bad reputation for years and went in expecting the worst. I have been in many times. Ive bought 1 gun there and ammo a few times. I am relatively inexperienced with guns and each time I go in, the guys there are very nice to me. The last time I went, I told one of the guys that I was just looking and nit buying and he still took time to come by and check on me and offer to let me handle a few guns and accessories.I have always made sure not to interrupt them if they are with other customers (the place stays busy). And I dont ask about items that I cant afford. I was in sales for years and I guess I just know how to act in a retail environment, especially one as dangerous as a gun store.Ill write back if I ever have a bad experience, but I dont expect that I will. Ill keep shopping with the guys that have been good to me.
Called in to see if they had the gun I was interested in, they had it, went over to check it out and was treated very nicely. Ileft to think it over.........no pressure. The next day I called again, asked them to hold the gun, they did and I purchased. With the background check I was out in less than 45 minutes. Good experience.
My experience at guns and ammo was like taking a trip back to the 1950s. I can only imagine how my forefathers felt, being looked at like your less than nothing. I eventually got some service, but the guy was smug and condescending...They have a great selection of guns and gun accessories, but dont expect any courtesy if your colored.
Ive shopped to over the years love this place however I dont believe they actually have an official web address Ill check it out and find out as soon as I get it out update you but hey if you looking for something thats nice affordable and you can protect yourself with this is a great place to go
Everyone is treated the same, Ive never seen any signs of racism. I just bought a new rifle today and all the customers in the store were served; black or white.
Dont deserve 1 star. The owner began playing with a knife in front of my spouse and I because we were trying to make sense of what he was saying to us. We sensed GREAT hostility from him and felt we were being targeted as if we were criminals. Eye contact wasnt giving as respect. I believe hes a racist
I just got off the phone with them, having never been there. I am a truck driver and will be passing through tomorrow. The gentleman I talked to on the phone was very helpful (understanding my parking situation) and quite polite. So far, everything is fine with these guys. I guess the difference is that I know what I am looking for and not a waste of their time. I will be spending some serious duckets there tomorrow.
This is my second gun purchase from Guns and Ammo Memphis. I made my first purchase on April 30, 2010. I have been in the store on numerous occasions, sometimes just to look and on other times to make small purchases including holsters, other accessories and ammo. I have always been treated with dignity and respect, just as I have treated the employees at Guns and Ammo. I will return often.
Half-star, Never, Never, ever, go to this establishment. Great selection, service and staff sucked. Predjudiced AF, not helpful, not courteous. Dont spend your money here.
If you are not white stay away.
Went here to get a suggestion for a home defense handgun. The selection is great but I got treated like dirt. These guys look down on anyone who dont know exactly what theyre buying. Seems like want to just sit around and talk about guns rather than actually sell anything. Took my money to Bass Pro instead.
So much to say about my experience but I would not recommend at all!!!!
Great firearm selection, accessories overpriced and out-dated.
Great prices! Expert help! Bought 3 guns and a ton of ammo, and will be shopping here a lot in the future.
Walked in looking for an aftermarket SKS mag. All tho they didnt carry any, they answered my questions and were helpful. Before I left I inquired about ordering a new pistol thats kind of hard to find. They took the time to go in the back and do some research for me ! They let me know the cost, time, and process if I wanted to order it. I have nothing negative at all to say about them. They also have a great selection of holsters ! Id shop here with out hesitation !
Its plain terrible & everything bad you read about is true, honestly spend your money elsewhere...IF you get someone decent thats fine bt sooner or later youll run into the worse they have to offer and immediately regret buying anything from them ...Ive had 3 different n separate incidents the worst was me being asked to leave after accusing me of not having proper I.d n not being american ......Im a veteran, when I tried to show my I.d they refused to look n the older much fatter white guy laughed at me leaving...Its a racist hostile place for 1.Black people, 2. Latinos, 3. uninformed people ...
Never had a bad experience there. Quite the opposite. Friendly, helpful and full of good information.
Very nice staff!!
Went to the summer ave. location in Memphis bought 2 glocks a17 gen 4 and a 42 for my wife. Got the 17 for 569 and the 42 for 500 so I got a good deal. And a great experience at the store great people. I will visit that store again for the Springfield xds 45 for my back up gun. Thanks spit fire🔥
Employees are rude and unknowledgeable. Several just sit around and wont greet anyone. The employees Ive encountered over multiple visits cant or wont answer basic questions on the newest/popular guns. Most of the staff have favorite guns, and the rest is junk in their opinion. They dont like answering questions. None of them come across as experts. First time buyers should look elsewhere. When I bought my first handgun, the manager/owner refused to explain the basics of maintainence or gun care. He alright refused. He wouldnt recommended lubricant or cleaning products. He said thats what the internet is for. Horrible advice since the internet is rife with bad information.
More firearms than anyone in Memphis. Decent prices. Good selection of ammo.
Very rude and prejudice! Upon walking in the door, there were 4 men standing and sitting behind the counter, Neither of them greeted us. Did not speak, nor ask if we needed help. We spoke, only maybe one of them spoke . There were no other customers in the store. We had to ask if someone could come to the other end of the counter to assist us.The older man was very rude, not informative, and acted as if we were annoying him by asking questions about his products. He even was very sarcastic and nasty! We decided to leave. I was pre-warned that this location was very prejudice towards black people. I now know for myself. Never will I step foot in there again nor recommend anyone! The people atAccent Guns and Loans across the street from them were very Nice, informative and showed great customer Service!
Complete @@sholes. Yes they are cheap, but dont be insulted, shop and spend your money at other places. They truly are a waste of your time.
Huge selection, but not very friendly, and the prices were high. I went there looking for a specific pistol, but found I could order it for ~$150 less. I asked if they could move on their price at all and was laughed at. I am all for supporting a local business but cant pay 20% higher to do so. If they would have gotten even remotely close I would have purchased it from them. Also, there were a ton of people working there and no one seemed to want to work.
Cool people except the fat guy
Good selection, but there prices are to high. I love buying local, but I get a much better price at other local shops
Fantastic customer service and theyre very knowledgeable about their products!
I dont know why people rate this business so poorly at times. Very knowledgeable group of gun-loving people who are very helpful if you ask the right questions.
They are untrustworthy, shady, and overpriced. The staff are extremely rude and do not have a good, working knowledge of firearms (though they think they do). There have been a couple of occasions where they carry the only item in town for what Im looking for, and I cant purchase it online. In this event, I just drive to another town/state to pick it up. Thats how much I avoid this place, you should too.
Very rude staff. Avoid this place. I read some of the reviews before I went, but I didnt believe them. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Whatever you do do not buy from Guns and A**holes. they rip you off and are not only disrespectful but do not make any buying experience pleasant. There are a lot of other stores in the memphis area that sell firearms at great prices. I speak very highly of Avery Outdoors and Tommy Bronsons.
Couldnt be more helpful. Great selection. If they dont have it they will order it.
I have to agree with the general sentiment about customer service. While there are a few employees that are kind and helpful, the others are borderline disrespectful and not helpful at all. While there is a good selection of weapons on hand, they seem to be considerably overpriced. There are simply too many firearms dealers with good reputations to waste time on the iffy ones.
Ive never been so poorly treated as I have by the staff at Guns&Ammo they will never get another dime from me
Love this place. Bought all my piatols here.
GUNS AND AMMO WILL SCREW YOU IF THEY CAN. I went into Guns and Ammo last December to buy a gun. They took my credit card and rung up the sale before they did the background check. The TBI had a records problem, and therefore would not clear me to take delivery of the gun. The salesman gave me a form and explained how to get it cleared up. It took almost a year to get it cleared up - HERES WHERE G&A GETS YOU - I originally paid about $1500 and of course could not take the gun. No problem, they say. We will just hold it until you get it cleared up. But, After 120 days they automatically take 15%. They take it out of your purchase price. ($300) They call it a restocking fee (even though I never took delivery and they had my $1500 for the gun all along) So now I am down to $1200. Since last december, the price of the gun has gone up a couple hundred bucks. They want to make me pay that increase. So, after all the trouble getting my state records cleared up because of a clerical mistake somewhere, Guns and Ammo wants to steal $300, make me pay the price increase, and charge me an extra $50 to run the background check again (even though the proscribed rate for that is $10). If I want to get the gun that I paid for one year ago, for which they have had the money, it will cost me over $500.I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY TRAP WITH THIS SCHEME? AFTER ASKING AROUND, I CAME TO FIND OUT THAT MOST GUN SHOPS DO THE BACKGROUND CHECK FIRST, SO THAT THEY DONT TAKE YOUR MONEY IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.IF I WANTED TO CANCEL THE GUN SALE THAT DAY, AFTER THE BACKGROUND CHECK DENIED ME, IT WOULD HAVE COST 15% ($300).THIEVES!OH, AND I DO AGREE THAT ALL OF THE STAFF STAY UP LATE WATCHING RAMBO AND LOOKING AT THEMSELVES IN THE MIRROR WITH GUNS STRAPPED ALL OVER.
Sure, they have a large selection, but it doesnt make up for the arrogant attitudes of the staff. Its been that way for years too. I dont know what theyre thinking- given this economy and with the advent of online gun brokers/stores. Why would anyone shop here anymore? Every time I enter, I either get ignored completely or have someone cop and attitude with me. My mother went in there once to purhase a handgun once, and after they were rude to her, she was sure to purchase from a competitor. I dont know what these clowns are thinking.
Experience helpers... And staff.. very professional atmosphere
Excellent selection of guns. Staff is very helpful.
The store had fairly decent inventory, and the staff seemed approachable enough. The gunsmith was very friendly and understanding, happy to try and assist me with my transactions, he was knowledgeable about the weapons and inventory with the store, and completely saved my personal experience with the establishment. I walked in knowing what I wanted and ready to make a purchase, but the condition of their display weapon was simply awful. There were cobwebs in the chamber, soda stains on the side, the paint was deteriorating, and the list goes on. Even if the weapon I was looking at was uncommon, it was discouraging to see it was so poorly cared for. When I pointed out the damage/disregard, and expressed my concerns, the sales associate I was dealing with simply shrugged his shoulders. I was expected to pay 70 more than their competitors were charging, for a firearm in poor condition. If I ever return to this store, or make future purchases, it will be solely because the gentleman at the back counter carried himself with integrity. This place may be acceptable for ammo and accessories, but Ill never purchase a firearm from this store.
Just terrible. Never go in within the closing hour, even if you know what you want. Also military STAY AWAY. They have no idea what the ATF regulations are regarding residency and wont listen to you when you pull up the actual ATF statutes. All this on top on their misogynistic demeanor. Go see Chance at Classic in Cordova and save the heartache. Fyi, active military can claim dual residency (PCS and Permanent residency) for purposes of purchasing a firearm, according to the ATF.
2 of the men were professional. The others seemed to prejudge me before speaking. I cant say if its racism or not. I did smell like weed so I understood that but the 2nd time I came back I was on my best behaviour and the same guys still had this smug look despite me being very professional. Its always a few rotten apples in a bunch. Maybe life exp drove them that way but its not excuse as a grown fully conscious man. Fight them inner demons. Everything is not Black and White. Every black or latino customer is not there to steal, premeditated kill or rob someone. Its alotta people who are though in all races and thats why we arm up to protect and defense against would-be intruder or body harmers.Lets leave that backwards thinking to the rest of the south and set example like we been by getting along and mingling. Even if it is fake, fake it til you make and see the value you in it. Watch ya clientele grow.PeaceWe Memphis not Bandwagon Media Drones
After buying several guns in this store, I had a problem with a purchase which was a Christmas present for my girlfriend. They refused to do anything about it. The lack of customers in the store at the time tells me the word is out on these chiselers. JS
I purchased a Kel-Tec PF9 from them about 3 weeks ago. they have a LOT of guns, at good prices. but they act like they have 10 million better things to do besides sell you a gun. i asked for ammo, and all they guy would do is grunt and point at a shelf from behind the counter. i guess i had interfered with his deep conversation about weather, and if it might rain. sorry to make you old fat men do a little work.
The gunsmith at guns and ammo memhis is not trustworthy. My brother took his mossberg 500 shotgun to him to get it fixed. They had it over a week and a half, he said because of waiting for a part. When my brother came in to pick it up, it was doing the exact same thing that it was doing when he dropped it off. The gunsmith said he needed to shoot it and it would smooth out. I tried to shoot it myself and couldnt get more than 3 rounds to feed and gave up. My brother came to my house and stripped the gun his self and saw what was bent. No parts have been changed and the guy charged him 32 bucks to do nothing. My brother bent the part back right in front of me and it fixed the issue. The gunsmith is crook and a liar. When I called guns and ammo, the lady told me that he is an independent contractor working out of the guns and ammo building. So far I cant get him to answer the phone to give him a chance to make it right. I will never spend another dime in that place and will tell everyone that I hear about thinking of going in there mine and my brothers experience. On top of that they are rude and when I called about the gunsmith, she sounded irritated with the fact that I called about him, and told me that there was nothing they could do about it. Worst place to buy a gun, or have a gun serviced in the usa.
THESE MFS ARE SO RACIST...I DONT EVEN THINK THEY LIKE WHITE PEOPLE EITHER....AND IM PUERTO RICAN.....GOSH JUST MAKE A CLEAN SALE WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE....
This place seems to be getting worse every time I go in. Used to be the best. Now, not so much. Just yesterday, their selection of hunting rifles was close to non-existant. Seems now, unless you want an AR, AK, or handgun, youd be better off someplace else. Add to that the over-priced ammo and bad service. The TCC (Tenn Cartridge Co.) reloads they sell are now more expensive than allot of factory new ammo. You relly get the impression like such: unless you are buying something, we act like you dont exist or be sarcastic with a holier than thou attitude.
Ive had better experiences dealing with pawn shops
I had spent THOUSANDS in this store over the years, and I stopped going there because the staff is so incredibly rude. And dont think for one second they wont screw you. The last time I went there, I had aquire a ruger 10-22 barrel and receiver group. I went to their gunsmith to have it mounted on a stock, new iron sites, and a scope (which I bought from them at that time), mounted on it. When I piced it up, I realized the scope, (supposedly BRAND NEW), WAS BROKE! THE CROSS HAIRS WERE ACTUALLY BROKEN. After showing to them, they REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANOTHER SCOPE! THEY DAMANDED I SEND THAT ONE BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER. After all the money I had spent there over the years, literally 10s of thousands, they should have GIVEN me a scope. I will never go back to these con artists.
Great people to deal with and price
What a disgraceful business run by disrespectful and crass people. They will be happy to sell you 3 guns over a period of 6 months, but then when you return to buy ammo they refuse to sell to you without buying another gun.Absolutely ridiculous place. All I wanted was one lousy box of 9mm anything. Nope. Not buying a gun - youre not getting ammo. I put the other boxes of different caliber back on the shelves only for the owner of the store to yell something at me as I walked out.A business that will survive, unfortunately, as long as people are prepared to accept terrible service.LOOK elsewhere. They wont be getting a dime out of me again.
Great prices friendly service
Best selection of guns in Memphis, always busy, great shop!
Str8 a**holes or racist not sure but service is horrible everytime Im goin to bass pro shops
Very rude employees. Haha. I will agree but did you go to buy the best gun at the best price or did you ladies go in for a mudbath and a pedicure. Bottom line is they have the best guns at the best prices. There is no disputing that. Maybe im bias because i have been going there for 30 years. Yes, they may be all about business at times. They may even be like the soup nazi but since you know... move to the case... pick out your gun... pay for it... and wait for them to call your name instead of asking a billion questions. I know for a fact that the reason they were rude is because you went in there not knowing your b*tt from a hole in the ground. G&A is a place for real gun folks. Do you comparisions on the internet before you go. Have it down to 2 or 3 and you wont have a problem rookies. BTW... their prices are the cheapest around. It appears that most of you are in fact rookies. They dont charge sales tax if you pay cash. So go and compare their price on a gun with one at a place with taxes and you will see you just saved a lot of $$$.. I laugh at you all.. women.. ha..
First there is no parking; second it is in a seedy part of town, and all the reviews on service is true; the staff are almost all true blue ah-holes bitter about their life choices. Prices are NOT good.... Their tax free day? Yep they mark it all up over normal retail to cover tax, no bargain. Oh and it is cash as well saving them 3% for credit card sales. I suggest you look at the bottom of the review page for Range USA or Top Brass.... Nicer people and good prices. You can always order a gun. Guns and Ammo is gouging on Ammo! They NEVER answer their phone. You go down there, if they have it, way over priced. I am never going back..... The pawn shop across the street in not much better. Go to the two places I mentioned, Range USA and Top Brass (gives 3% for cash sales and they have good prices). I did buy a gun on-line and used Range Master to do the FFL transfer, they only charged $25 (reasonable fair price). Other places like Classic Arms gouge you, like $50 and get down right nasty when you ask about transfers We are in the business of selling guns not doing transfers.... OK then. I recently went to Bass Pro and found a much better experience, plus if you sign up for a credit card you get 10% off and with a manufacture rebate, some great deals. However again I will say it as others have, I recently went there just to look and lucked out and found 22LR at a fair price. However they were Guns and a**holes as usual about it.
Horrible customer service. Literally talked to two different guys...nonchalant attitudes...especially if youre asking a question about their products.
Staff was not courteous or friendly. They never spoke nor did they acknowledge me. Walked throughout the store and left without being helped.
Overall nice staff. Prices are higher than elsewhere, and a little disorganized.
Staff won’t acknowledge you. I stood in front of them ready to purchase for over 1 mins and 2 old white men just looked at me as if I wasn’t there. No one should give them business. Usually I’m not the type of person to be sensitive but this was just straight up nasty
Excellent service...knowledgeable and efficient
Them some lazy rude mother f###ers. I will never give that store any of my money stupid mfs
Walked around for over 10 mins not 1 employee asked if I needed help. Also everything is way overpriced.
Staff barely gives you the time of day, even after you have started the purchase processes. You are clearly a burden on their day.
