Cant thank these guys enough. They helped me stay on the road during my cross country trip from California to New York and Back. I called ahead to see if they had a set of tires for me. They set them aside for a few days until I got in town. I had a new tire back on my bike before I was finished with lunch. Safely finished my trip home without worrying about my tire. K1600B
Stopped about 1,000 miles into a 4,000 mile trip needing an assist with chain and sprockets. They gave the bike a quick checkup right away, with no wait required. The parts weren’t in stock for my bike but they got me running well enough to get to a dealer in Texas who had parts in stock. Friendly, efficient, and clear communication.
Been dealing with Keith all day about purchasing a new BMW motorcycle, needed to get the approval switched over from Broken Arrow to Memphis and he told us to keep him posted. Literally hung up the phone with BMW financial after having to do another credit check to switch locations and he sold it out from under us. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with! 10 out of 10 would not recommend this place!
Called BMW Motorcycles of Memphis three weeks ago to schedule a service and fix safety recall issue. The service department stated that it would be several weeks before they could get to the maintenance. I tried to pin them down on a date because I would be leaving soon on a scheduled trip. The response was well...the sooner you get the bike in the sooner we can do the maintenance. Having a background in aircraft maintenance, scheduling maintenance, and how much time most maintenance requires on various aircraft, I found the response of the service department very unprofessional. My solution was to take the bike to Grassroots BMW in Cape Girardeau. A very professional staff, they scheduled my maintenance and I had no issues. The mechanics were great as was the person who took my initial call. From now on I will take the bike to Grassroots for any service even though its a 5 hour trip from my house.
Clean shop, well staffed with knowledgeable people. Nice variety of bikes, new and used. Ok gear selection, though limited on modular helmets. 3 stars because when I came in just to get the service notice re-set on my BMW, the 5 minute task had me waiting for 40 minutes when they were not busy. I understand Techs have work, but when a non-local customer is waiting for something so quick and easy, it should get a priority, much like travelers on the road that stop for tire changes or other minor service. During previous visits some staff have displayed the BMW attitude a bit much for my taste.
Needed emergency help with brakes. Tim got it done like a boss in less than an hour! Great guy. Great place!
Looking at buying a BMW motorcycle the sales people this place only concerned about talking to the people that already own one I was in the store for 20 minutes and nobody said anything they all are just hanging out talking to people with other bikes I’m confused if you’re a motorcycle dealer shouldn’t you try to sell a product So when I go back home to South Florida if I decide to buy one I’ll buy it down there not up here and I’ll never come to the store again
Bought a R1200Rt in Dallas and rode it back home through Memphis. Called the shop to schedule the 600 mile service and Tim was awesome in scheduling it around my trip. Great service that had me in/out quickly while offering me advice on local routes to enhance my trip home. Highly recommend!
I bought a 2007 BMW GS1200 Adventure sight unseen over the phone last week from 800 miles away. Keith made the process quite easy and upon my arrival, he walked me through the process, which was simple as I was a cash buyer. The bike was nicer than I expected and I felt good about the purchase. Alyssa was quick to get me paid and on the road. Unfortunately for me, the fuel pump gave out 200 miles into my trip home from a 5 year old recall. Tim, the service manager, worked with the dealership that I had the bike towed to to get a claim into BMW for a repair. After the claim was submitted, I had to wait 2 days for the parts to come in and during that time, Keith called and checked on me. A very individual experience from a small dealership. Good folks and I feel good recommending them.
I had planned on riding through Memphis with my new BMW K1600B and needed my first 600 mile check up and oil change at that time.I was shocked that my email was returned with a phone call to tell me they would accommodate my request. This is service you dont find every day, so Thank You.I will stop in if I ever pass through Memphis.Tim was wonderful to talk to and more than accommodating like I said.WELL DONE,BILL BARTLETT
Marvin and the team were extremely helpful. Called him at 3pm had the parts in by 9:30am the following morning. Service team were knowledgeable and friendly. Fair prices, supportive of travelers. Big selection of bikes too. Pay him a visit!
I was traveling through and needed a tire. Fit me in on the spot. A little pricey but thankful for the response. No worries so I could get home in Ontario safe and sound.
5 star cross all the way!!!! I worked with kieth and i had one of my best shopping experiences no pressure no hassle no drama . It was worth the drive from California these guys treat you like no other bmw dealer in country ( take my word i have called Most of them most of them) if my local dealer was slightly like these guys in Memphis I would had bought few years ago .
