Let me just say that if you live in Memphis, are coming to Memphis for a stay, or just driving through, this is the one place you need to stop. I’m not saying this as a joke either. If you only had $10 and were about to run out of gas I would say skip the gas and walk to this place for some pizza. You won’t regret it. I get the same thing each time I go. (And I visit weekly) I order a slice of cheese pizza and a coke. They do offer many options besides just cheese so I will explain why I only order this every single time. Little Italy makes such a good quality pizza that I only want to taste the cheese, sauce, and dough. Don’t get me wrong. I love other toppings on pizzas from other places. However, other places need the toppings to sort of mask what I consider to be mediocre pizza. Not Little Italy. The first time my girlfriend visited me here in Memphis she asked that I take her to Little Italy because she wanted to know what all the fuss was about. It only took one bite of her slice to understand. Also, I need to mention that one of the best things about this place is the ability to order by the slice. I also want to say that I am by no means a pizza novice. I’ve had authentic NY style pizza in NY several times. I’ve had authentic Chicago style pizza in Chicago several times. Memphis has lots of pizza options and I have tried them. (Not all of them several times - here’s looking at you Memphis Pizza Cafe - just no) at some point in the near future I will be marrying the current girlfriend and because of our jobs I will be moving (happily) to Arkansas. The only real stipulation I had for willingly moving 2 hours away was that she had to agree that we could either A. come back to Memphis so that I could get a slice of cheese pizza and a cold coke every now and then or B. any time we did visit Memphis or if we were just driving through that we would always be able to stop and eat at Little Italy so that I could get my slice of cheese pizza with my cold coke.

My favorite pizza joint in Memphis by far. The pizza is always fresh and the cannoli are done exactly how they should be. Not that many places know how make cannolis. This place makes them fresh only add the filling when you order them.

I have been driving by this place for a long time and finally decided to give it a try. Really small in side, just 3 tables plus a little bar along the front window. The menu looks amazing, I like that I can order pizza by the slice if I want and it was really good. Definitely want to come back and try some of their pasta next time 😁

Bought a small white pizza to go for my husband and me which was delicious! The dough was soft inside with a crunchy exterior and had the perfect salt to butter ratio. A small could have easily fed a third person.

Delicious pizza! My husband and I were only in town for a few days, and because of how amazing it was, we had to get it twice! We’ll definitely be eating here again on our next trip to Memphis!

All things being equal this is my favorite slice in Memphis! I hate to pull the “I lived in NYC card” but if you get an extra large cheese pie from here and you chow down while it’s still hot—it really is the closest I’ve found to a New York slice. The garlic knots are so tasty and I’ve gotten the chicken Parmesan sandwich quite a bit too and it is GOOD! During covid they began delivering to my house near UM and I haven’t ordered anywhere else since.

Ordered medium sausage pizza.. it only had sausage on one side. I complained to the manager and he said that because there was “a lot” of sausage on the other side, he would not make me another one. Also when I arrived to get my food, they “forgot” to make the pasta dish. So by the time the pasta dish was cooked the pizza was cold as the salad. Oh, the salad was supposed to have NO olives but instead had extra olives. They were so busy they just don’t care.

This was a hole in the wall type place to grab some Italian food. I think some of the pictures posted must be of a different location because it didnt look as nice in person as it did online. Its more of a take out restaurant. The food was pretty good, even though it was a little greasy, but that is to be expected when eating pizza!

Best pizza weve had in a long time! The crust was perfection! The sauce crust ratio was amazing! Great amount of toppings on both of our pizzas. Waiting to eat the desserts in a bit but they look totally awesome I can only expect they are going to be great. Wish I could give more then 5 starts. This establishment really deserves it!

I’ve lived in Memphis for 7 yrs but for some reason I’ve never found this place until recently. I ordered when I was home alone because I was very hungry a & it sounded good and it was very very good. The next night when my fiancé came home I treated him to dinner delivery of course, because of the pandemic. My fiancé Charles was amazed to find an Italian restaurant that is new to us that he actually enjoys & will be able to call anytime we are in the mood for Italian (which is just about every night) I ordered it I think about two days ago & already thinking about ordering again tonight. I love this place already.!

We are in Memphis for a couple of months due to my son needing treatment at St. Jude Cancer Research Hospital. My son has been craving NY style pizza so we’ve tried 2 places and he couldn’t have more than a bite. Disappointing. Today after a long rough day in the Hospital he really wanted to try another pizza place to see if we could find the pizza he’s craving. We came across little Italy Midtown on a Facebook Memphis page and I am SOOOO glad we did! The pizza and garlic knots were so delicious and the NY style that he likes. We will definitely be getting dinner here often! It made me so happy to see him finally eat (3 slices) what he craves and he enjoyed it! He gave it a 5 star! 🤩🤩🤩

Eggplant parm is a few pitiful, bland, unseasoned strips of eggplant on a giant bed of overcooked spaghetti with overly sweet sauce. Salad is mediocre. The garlic knots are passable, but not great, somehow both soggy and dry. The well done pizza I requested is barely cooked.

So I just moved here to Memphis and this place was I think the third place we have ordered from since moving in, I called in a pickup order and when I arrived I realized I had forgotten my wallet, I told them I’d be back in 10 minutes so I could go get my wallet to pay but the owner insisted I take my food and eat it then come back and pay so that the food wouldn’t get cold. Incredibly generous of him and oh my goodness y’all this food was so incredible! Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and let me tell you you absolutely cannot go without ordering the Amerana cherry cake, I’m not usually a huge fan of cherries but this cake was super good and the cherries just put it way over the top! All in all this place is about a 18/10, definitely will be going back there again and will definitely be getting another slice of that delicious cherry cake.

Amazing food and an excellent value for the price. They have a fairly broad menu and everything is great. My wife had the eggplant parmesan, while my son had some pizza and I had a calzone. All were fantastic. Make sure to get meatballs on something as they are huge and tasty.

Visited for the second time and we were not disappointed! Ive had the pizza before so I decided to try an entrée, my choice, lasagna! All I can say is perfecto! It was seasoned and delicious! I can hardly wait to visit again. We also ordered the fettuccini alfredo, old world style as a gravy. My daughter loved it!

I used to live in Midtown and work at the local grocery store in Midtown making brick oven pizzas, but I ate more pizza here than a man won’t allow! I cannot wait to eat there again when I am in town! The people there are so nice! They are fresh friendly and clean staff! I wish I could find a little Italy like this one in NYC, but I will be back for more! I cannot get enough!

We ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was very good New York style pizza. They bring it out and put it on a rack so it didnt take up as much take space. They give you paper plates, so its pretty casual. We ordered drinks before we realized the drink machine was out of CO2. They have us a 2 liter of Coke instead to make it right.

Ordered $50 worth of food 30 minutes ahead of time. Got there, all the hot food was ready, they tell me that they are just waiting on the salad which is a cold item. Only takes a few minutes to make a salad, which I waited another 15 minutes for. So as I take all the food home for my family it was all cold. Called back to let them know I ordered 12 garlic knots and only got 6 and asked them to do better, they were very rude and said what do you want? A free pizza? No, I want you guys to do better! Just want my hard earned money to go for what I ordered and hot and fresh like you claim to be. 9 people working in that place and still couldnt get it right and when I called to express my concerns they could care less. Super frustrating. Will go to Milanos next time.

Havent been here since Anthony from New York & the older gentleman from Italy were the only two workers, but its nice to see that the place & team has expanded, yet the quality is still the same. I really enjoyed my slices (deluxe, chz, & meat stuffed).*To the young man who cashiered my order & commented that my metal Amex was so durable; I got a little offended by you banging & tossing it onto the counter as opposed to handing it to me in the same manner that I handed it to you (hand to hand). No big deal though, its not like you broke it or anything. Overall, everything was great from the customer service, accuracy if my order, wait time, and quality of my food. Ill definitely be back soon.
