Cars are all old, broke down, covered in spider webs. We saw 1 we were interested in, it was parked in behind another car. We asked to test drive but the employee didnt feel like digging it out. We live 45 miles away but agreed to go back a few days later to take it for a drive. Fast forward to that, when we went back it was dug out for us but practically falling apart and double the price they quoted. It wouldnt have made it back to my house had I bought it.This is not the 1st time this place tried to sell me a terrible car. 5 or 6 years ago they sold me a Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo for $2,400. That car broke on the way home. Called and told the owner, he said he could fix it for $1,500 or so, but that was that. It is STILL rusting in my driveway.This place seems to be waiting to take advantage of desperate people with little money and no options.

Very unprofessional. Wouldn’t purchase a car from here. Not reliable at all. The car I drove off the lot was fine until a few weeks when the power steering went bad. There was a leak. The gears also started slamming when I tried to shift and while I was on the highway I lost an entire gear??? That was actually very scary and I was only 1 hour into my 3 hour drive...It also took me about 2 months to get a functioning key fob. The lady who finally fixed it told me I’ve been “overriding my system the whole time I’ve been manually inserting the key” that would of been nice to know. Took forever to get an appointment and the workers were very stand off ish and sat on their phones the whole time they talked to me. Besides Mai she was the only decent person. The owner was never there and if he were I would of had a lot more to say. Very, very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend (Also this car was supposed to be a super special birthday present from my parents which we told them- and it has WAY more problems than the last car I got rid of for this one. Tragic)

I bought a car here and found many problems with it after driving it a few weeks. The check sheet on the window showed nothing wrong. Even the anti-lock brakes were marked as okay but found out this car is not equipped with ABS. Horn and dome light did not work, AC compressor cable was cut. Tail pipe fell apart after a couple months. Now less than 1.5 years later it is making noises on the highway. I think it has a bad wheel bearing. I still owe money on the dang thing and its no longer safe to drive. The cars on this lot should be in a junk yard!

Yeah its a little run down, not every place can look like a top dealership.We recently went to Sunshine Auto Sales because my son was interested in a suv they had available.We had a great experience with them and Gordon is a great man!I was up front and forward with him that we needed a vehicle for my son to take out of state (Texas) for college coming up in September and he was able to steer my son away from the suv and get a more realistic car.Gordon picked out a few options for us to look at and to test drive.He was straight forward with us with the one my son of course picked out needing a little more work to be put into it before any sales and after.He also suggested AAA because lets be honest, its an older car and cars do break down.After my Husband and son took it out for the test drive they asked questions and they got answers. Again, this is an older vehicle and needs work.Once the car was bought, we kept it there just so they could get it cleaned up and to fix a couple problems that my husband and son pointed out to them. We didnt mind this at all because he (my son) does not have his license yet and it was put in MY name, so there was time to work some things out with it.They sold to us as is and still fixed things for us!With the mail being the way it is right now it did take a little more time but Gordon kept my son informed to what was going on with it and if my son or I had any questions we were able to text with a quick response to let us know what was going on.I will recommend this place to people, all you have to do is ask questions, be straight forward with them and if its not your cup of tea, move on!I will add a picture maybe when its not covered in snow lol

This was a place that made me and my husband feel at home. He made us feel like we was a part of the family. He has a great personality, and understands life happens. He is more then fair and puts you in a ride he can trust for his own. I Got my ford f 1 50 from him 3 years ago. Paid it off and ready for my number 2 . My truck held up with no reason to have to put money into it the entire time we paid on it. And still runs great. Yes it needs a little work now but not bad it held up to get my husband to work so he could keep spoiling me. Great deal, Great price, Great guy. Thanks Tom. Look for us soon. This was by far the best experience buying a vehicle Ive ever had. We had went to another dealership and spent almost 3 hours waiting. They told us we basically had the car and at the end said we needed more money down, when we told them upfront its all we had. Tom, was super awesome and the approval was quick. Then to top it off, he came back after business hours to finish off the paper work stuff to help us out, on a Saturday! Youre awesome Tom and it was super appreciated!

Sure, maybe you’re on a budget or you’re in a pickle to find a new vehicle, but I would avoid this place at all costs. I went to test drive a vehicle here, a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe to be exact, and as I placed the vehicle in reverse to park it back in the lot - it stalled. I brought this up to the owner, and he told me, “sometimes vehicles just hiccup”. Never once in my life has a properly functioning vehicle stalled entirely from being placed in reverse from a stop. Then, I test drove another vehicle in the lot. This time, an ‘03 S-10. I take the thing on the highway, and the entire truck bed is hopping while on a flat surface - no bumps or cracks. I hopped underneath the vehicle once I got back to the lot and noticed that the suspension was shot. I can’t imagine that a dealer that is willing to sell vehicles in that sort of condition to people is hitting all of the necessary checks to ensure compliance and safety. Save your money and go private party - or, just go anywhere else.

Tbh I would never get a car from here my mom has test drive 3 cars they didn’t run properly one car made a loud buzzing noise the 2nd car we had to tow back Because of the car had water in the tank and the 3rd car broke down up by quick trip and tom told us “well you r the one driving it so you have to call a tow truck for it and” last time I check he don’t lock all the cars on the lot my mom was checking out a car and it was unlocked so I would not recommend this place

We went in looking for one vehicle and came out with another, and overall, I think better, vehicle. The owner was upfront with everything from start to finish. Even let us take it for a 30-40 minute drive to really test it out. VERY happy with the quality vehicle and service!

This is the ONLY place I’ll go for a vehicle. I have only bought my vehicles from Tom, and cannot say enough great things about him and his biz. I never have to worry about buying a car from him! The entire process was easier than I could imagine. He goes out of his way to make sure there is no stress and offers plenty of options to accommodate your needs. They are all very friendly and welcoming when you walk on the lot. It’s as if you’re friends before you even meet! Tom is a salesman, but not your typical “salesman”... he’s not out to hustle you or make a sale. He is honest and forthcoming with all your questions or concerns. We have been through multiple dealerships to try and get a vehicle for our family, and this by far has been the best one we have dealt with. I have recently gone through them and got another vehicle that would be reliable for our lovely Wisconsin weather...couple days go by and we tried going through a mechanic to do a tune up and actually made us believe that the truck was screwed. Out of worry I visited Sunshine auto and explained the situation and they were more then amazing.Tom and his mechanic went far and beyond to reassure us all was fine and even showed the simple part that needed to be replace, talked us through the way it worked and did it for us right away, so then I had no worries for me and my familys safety. I am so surprised I heard so many bad things about this dealership but I am beyond grateful .they dont have warranties on used carsYou drive it check it then its on you. Which is normal . But if you buy the parts labor free which we all no how much labor is . To my amazement I bought my car check engine light came on and a few other things . Tom the owner had me bring it in, drop it off gave me a loner car and has been working on my car and it hasnt been cheap repairs . They have been doing it all for free they have been standing behind my car . I am so thankful and grateful for all they are doing for me. So Tom thank you and to his mechanics thank you

I am an agency nurse and depend on my wheels to get to my next assignment. I was in dire straights when my car broke down. I came across this little gem of a used car dealership in Menasha, Wi. Across from Cimarron bar and just before Sapphires gentlemen club. Tom, the owner hooked me up with Marine credit union to process my loan at a decent interest rate. Shout out to Alan Martinez from Marine CU. Not only did he finance my ride. He cared enough to fix my credit history. They are going to consolidate my debt and refinance my home! The financing process was easy. Did it online. I just want to thank Tom and his crew for striving to provide dependable vehicles at an affordable price. You dont have to jump through flaming hoops, like one of Joe Exotics tigers to get a decent car without being robbed by high finance fees. ( FYI dont work with Heights Finance. They wanted to charge me 27%) But you can sit and shoot the breeze with Tom and discuss the best places for German quisine and relax. Everything will be ok!

I am very pleased with my experience at Sunshine Auto. I pulled in with my Chev Lumina that had 235,000 miles and a head gasket that was going out. I stopped in on a whim and didnt think that I would even be considered. Low and behold after test driving 2 other nice cars, I am proud to say that I am now driving a CL320 Mercedes Benz that is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend shopping around here for a nice ride. Lots to choose from as well!! As for the commercial Everybody Rides! No, they dont. I was asked for $5000.00 down to be considered for a Nissan. I would rather die than to put that much down. Recently my wife and I bought a jeep from Tom. He is very sociable, intelligent and gave us a great deal. After we were done with all the paperwork, it was after hours so he offered me a beer. Or two. I mentioned that we had looked at the reviews first, saw a few one stars. In his defense...its a USED car lot. He pointed out that a couple of them were ex employees...terminated for one reason or another. There is one on there who posted twice, one star. Tom pointed out this guy was caught on camera stealing scrap from him while using one of the dealers own trucks! He has the incident archived in the system. In any event, we were totally happy with our Jeep, and actually made a good friend. He treated us to dinner at brau house in appl. So folks, dont believe everything you read. The Owner didnt seem to care that my son was a minor. I am confident that the guy would of sold it straight to him if I didnt tell him myself that he is a minor and I need to sign off on it. As a matter of fact he even said that he had done in previously as laughed about it as the minors parent threatened to take him to court. Has a bunch of young kids working that didnt appear to know all the much. The place is not very well kept and looks shabby.

I went to Tom at Sunshine auto and only had a certain amount to spend on a vehicle, I was not on his lot more than 5 minutes before he started looking and showing me vehicles, all which I should say, I could not afford.. Not only did he bring down the price tremendously, added gas to my vehicle and fixed a prior issue at no cost to me.. I am forever grateful for the Godly way Tom deals with his customers.. Anyone can claim to be of good heart and do good from the heart, but this man actually was a tremendous blessing! As a cancer patient I need a reliable vehicle and he didnt hesitate to help.. And for that I would rate this dealership a 10 if I could, but only goes to 5 stars.. I am forever grateful Tom and may God continue to bless your business as a ministry to ensure people who need transportation can either get financed or find a reasonably priced vehicle within any budget.. My wife and I bought a car here in November of 2016 and it ran fine until it was totaled in an accident, so we came back in January of 2018. We bought a car that had a chip in the windshield and within a couple days something went wrong with the engine (not really foreseeable). Tom hooked us up with a replacement windshield at wholesale cost and a free fix for the engine (who knows how much that could have cost us.)f youre looking for a budget car from a nice guy look no further than Sunshine Auto, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Bought my SUV(envoy) from sunshine auto almost 2 years ago. Transmission went out and Tom was more then willing to replace/fix, willing to work out a deal for a new(used) transmission for a very reasonable price. Thank you again very very much

So a couple years back I bought a Dodge Neon from Sunshine Auto. Car was supposed to be in excellent shape with no issues. We signed the paperwork and were on our way. Went across the street to a gas station to fill up and guess what? Battery was junk. Car would not start back up without a jump start. Shortly latter we had a wheel barring go out. Then an exhaust issue and then if that was not enough the transmission coolant like burst on the highway. Turned out the radiator was so rusted that the whole thing needed to be replaced. Then a short 2 months latter the timing belt broke and in turn bent the pistons and basically junked the engine completely.Beware of sunshine Tom. The guy is a crook.Now he has started to make Facebook ads for sunshine auto and I simply put that he sells junk cars and to beware. I got a private message from him threatening to sue me if I keep doing it.FYI Tom asks you to post a positive review before even leaving the lot so beware of positive reviews

I applied through credit acceptance, they work with people who have bad credit, no credit and who have had repossessions. We were given the names of three places that they work with. Sunshine Auto was one of the places so I filled out the application and found a vehicle we liked. I got a call from Mariner finance that sunshine works with we were told that we would have to have a cosigner. So obviously sunshine auto does not work with people that have bad credit or repossessions. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Tom is very friendly and has helped me get the vehicle i wanted. Of course things go wrong with vehicles new or used, he is willing to help me get them fixed which few dealers wont even do!! Thats great service in my eyes!! Definitely recommend to my friends and others. If he wanted he could of told me what other dealers n sellers had said which is: its your problem to fix since u took off the lot.

VERY BAD CARS! The owner buys from auction, fix it so it just runs, and then post it for sale. when he gets a trade in, all he does is clean them and make sure it just runs and sell it pretty much as is. Save your time and spend more money on a better car.

Sunshine sold me my Volkswagen passat it was a quick and easy transaction. After a few days i noticed a few things wrong but its a used car. Theres a o2 sensor and a muffler issue but that was easy. One of my tires were really bad and sunshine went and looked around for a tire for my car for me. Sunshine is a exellent place and reasonable if you talk to them. He is pretty good about fixing thulings if there is somethung wrong.

I got my car less then 4 months ago and it doesnt work. I took it in and the only thing wrong with it was that the reverse was out. It took them over 3 weeks to even get it in there shop to look at it, Then I got 3 different stories on what was wrong with it and 3 different prices. I went to pick it up today and turns out they killed the battery so not only can I not move my car I cant even start the damn thing.

Toms a con artist. He preys on those that are desperate for a vehicle and then takes advantage of them by sticking them under a high price loans for junked cars. He sold my wife a truck with no brakes pads and allowed to forge my name on a loan I was not there for or approved. None of his vehicles are ever inspected. Inspection sheets are pre-filled out, only thing he does a slaps the vehicle description on it and sticks it in the window. They are never inspected. So you end up with a ton of problems.

Tom sold me a car for which he did not posses the title. After three months he could not produce the title, nor would he provide a refund. All he would do is swap the car I bought out for another, and the other one has given me nothing but problems in just four months of ownership. Awful. I regret ever setting foot in Sunshine Auto. Youre betting off walking than buying a car from Sunshine.

Had the same issues with the fellow reviewers. purchased a van had less then 200 miles on it transmission blew. they didnt return phone calls they were supposed to fix a few issues so my wife drove it all the way back there and did not fix anything. they said they would send the part in the mail. never received it.... filed a complaint via BBB they didnt hear anything back from them either ended up having to junk a car that with nearly 200 miles on it... lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased a 2007 vw Passat. Low tire pressure light was on. I asked why and was told they aired up a tire it would reset after so many miles. Got the car home in the morning the car doesnt start and tires flat. After attempts to start it it starts take it in there is a nail in the tire and 2 tires leaking air. We immediately called Tom who suggested it was the battery. Took the car in first thing Monday their mechanic says its the starter, even tho when it doesnt start it doesnt even try to turn over. They say bring it back Tuesday and theyll put a starter in. Wensday am the car does not start again. It takes 4 to 10 tries and finally it turns over really hard. I took video of the issue and called and spoke to Brad. I drove the car back in and they said It was a bad starter again. I left the car there Thursday it did not start for them so they replaced the starter, Friday it started so I picked it up. Sat the car starts but the antifreeze light is on, they disconnected the hoses to put a starter in and didnt even bother filling it back up, Sun and Monday the car starts Tue I dont leave the house, Wed the car pulls it reoccurring no start after 4 or 5 times of trying it starts, I drive it straight in and speak to the main mechanic Hezues, he says its possibly the ignition or a bad ground after 1.5 hrs of discussion and me explaining I want the car fixed or a refund as the light doesnt go off as promised, tires going flat and it not starting the vehicle did not match the window discription. I agree to let him get it fixed. Im given a loaner vehicle as I open the door the track shambles and falls into a handful of pieces and this morning guess what it doesnt start. Junk battery even in the nice fresh mini van pulled of the lot. They preceeded to call and I return the call they tell me the car has no issue. They had a random guy try to start it and it wouldnt start you have to hold the key. Well Im pretty sure when a car doesnt start and youve tried 10 times youve surley held the key. And sometimes it does start. Brad proceeded to tell me I cant buy a car for 5,500 that doesnt have issues. I explained I didnt expect a brand new car but one that starts and matched the listing on the car. I asked for the car to be repaired or my money back. He says hell have to talk to Tom.

Very unhappy with Tom and this dealership. Ive always been leary on purchasing any vehicle from this place, but recently I put that aside when I purchased my C240 from him. The car was clean and had 122000 miles on it. I figured not bad. And for the price with my trade in I thought it was well worth it. The next day I had brought the car in for a quick once over before I made my way back down to Miami. They said everything appears to be alright. I started my trip down, after I made my first stop, just outside of Chicago, I did a quick check on everything just to make sure things were still good. I noticed the coolant level was low. Also I noticed there was discoloring around the cap. Mercedes coolant is blue and this color was a rusty yellow look. I continued on my trip, just to notice a few stops later that the coolant was low again! Now Im thinking something is wrong, unfortunately it was too late to go back now. I refilled and continued down, keeping an eye on engine temp. When I made it to Atlanta, I was waived down and was told I was billowing smoke out of my rear, I looked and confirmed. I pulled over, and afterward noticed coolant draining out from underneath. My thoughts were the head gasket blew. I had to spend the night in Atlanta, and wait for Uhaul to open up the next day so I could rent a truck and car hauler. For that it costed me 1200 and another 400 for gas to make it back to Miami. After I got back, I brought the car to a Mercedes shop. They asked me if I had ever put Stop Leak in my coolant, and I told them no, only coolant. This would explain why there was discoloring and also why no one caught the leak! After further diagnosis, they told me that I had a cracked head and that is why I was leaking coolant. The fix, well there isnt one, you have to replace the entire motor! Which will now cost me an additional 4000!! And now I havent heard anything back from Tom. Ive tried calling numerous times and was only able to briefly talk to him once and he said he would get back to me. Well its been almost a 2 weeks later and still nothing, even when I call I get no answer. Its amazing that he is still in business when all he sells is junk cars, he doesnt even go thru them before he puts them on his lot, and once he takes your money, thats it! Youre on your own now. He doesnt stand by his vehicles and offers no help if anything happens. I was hoping he would have worked with me to fix this, but I guess its easier to hide than to properly conduct business and stand by the vehicles he sells. They are scam artists with a dealer liscence
