So I give it a 3 stars due to the flavor I was expecting to the flavor I got. I had ordered the carnitas enchiladas w el pastor taco and posole to go....the carnitas I expected was not the flavor I got. Their carnitas have this kind of smokey BBQ flavor that you dont expect from your typical carnitas...not so much a fan..good..but not my thing.. as for the el pastors tacos ....they are good if you like pineapple and that extra sweet flavor in your pork. I prefer a hint of that sweet but also bring the heat along w flavor! ... finally as for the pozole!... now this is an item I will return for! I love my pozole and this one had EVERYTHING YOU WANT! I give that at least a 5 star!!!!! Service was slow...I had to get up several times to ask for the check a box napkins....its a good place and they also seve ice cream! Which I didnt have....but if your into that kind of thing....

Excellent food with fast and friendly service. The food is authentic and homemade and is freshly served. Everything was delicious. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable about there product. They have amazing homemade desserts made in-house such as ice-cream and sherbert, we recommend the Oreo ice cream and Cucumber sherbert. Absolutely delicious!

They restored my faith in Mexican food.Last time I was there I did the most white person thing I have ever done. I had the burger. Normally I dont order a burger at a MR because thats like going to Mexico and only eating at McDonalds but they have chorizo and sausage and I think pico de gallo.Best Burger Ive Ever Had.Also all the more traditional offerings Ive had are made with a heaping helping of care and the in house made ice cream is amazing.

Always wanted to try and was not disappointed. Grilled chicken dinner amazing! Was very surprised at the variety of homemade sorbets, ice cream, popsicles and juices!! Definitely worth a stop! If you love mango, try the Mangonada!
WOW !Wife is from from San Diego and I lived there for 7 yrs.Never new good Mexican food till I moved there .Now we have a new place to eat!Big burrito and street taco was to die for ! FABULOUSRefried beans were FRESH AND DELICIOUS!So if you are looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food.. not those other sit down places that serve margaritasYOU HAVE A PLACE !!
Excellent Real Authentic Mexican Food. I will reiterate that this is real Authentic not Tex Mex. The Staff Is Friendly and they have lots of Mexican food to choose from like: Authentic Plates, Soups, Salads, Tacos, and Deserts to choose from. And much much more.... Everything they have to offer is quality. They have Mexican Beers, Seafood, Seafood cocktails. The portions are nice and the price Is reasonable.

Horrible customer service. Last night I placed an order and only received the sides by the time i got home and realized, they were closed. So i call back in the morning and the manager was completely rude interrupting me about five times to ask me what i wanted him to do about it after i had already told him i just wanted the food i ordered over and over then he asked me to bring the food from last night back and offered me ten dollars back on a $50 order when i said i just wanted the food he told me that he was busy and hung up on me midsentence now i definitely dont want the food i just want my money back, dont go here expecting to be treated like a human being
I did not eat here I was actually doing door dash however, the food looked amazing, big portion sizes, friendly staff, etc. Its definitely on my list of places I would love to try

We really only ever get the carnitas tacos when we go here, so I cant speak to anything else on the menu. They are excellent. However, we have tried a side of beans and rice in the past. The rice is kinda bland and I wouldnt give my dog the beans. Not that that would be a good idea, but I think you get the point. Avoid the beans, go for the tacos.
Seriously impressed with everything here. A large menu with so much to choose from, chips with salsa and bean dip served at the table, whats not to love? The server was very friendly, the food was phenomenal and came out fast for us, the place was very clean, and it has a nice cozy atmosphere.
Fav place to go when I am craving some delicious Mexican food. They have a whole menu dedicated to different cultural dishes and beverages. It is a place, which you can go if you also have a sweet and salty tooth. They have chips, candies, ice creams and so much more. Im always satisfied when I go because its so delicious. The staff is also very kind, fast and super friendly. They all care for service. Definitely recommend.

Chicken Grill is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley. The Margaritas have fresh squeezed juice. The tacos are delicious. The kids love the dessert bar! Definitely give Chicken Grill a try.
I spent over 60.00 dollars for lunch. 4 plates of steak fajitas and 4 sides of guacamole. For starters, the fajita meat was probably the cheapest cut of steak I ever tasted. No seasoning. The plates looked and tasted cheap. Next, the sides were just bland and not very appealing at all. Not to be forgotten, the Pico and guacamole they put in your plate was brown and old. The smell was horrible. All sides of the guacamole were brown and flavorless. To make things worst, I left work to pick up the order and to find out that in order to resolve the situation, like get my HARDWORKING money back I had to bring back the spoiled food. Did I mention that I am a first time customer??? For those looking for a Great Mexican cuisine this is NOT the place. Actions to get my funds back are in motion. To me, this is hi-way robbery. No Bueno.

Horrible Service -There are plenty of other restaurants to go besides this place.After sitting there for 15 minutes, we were notified that they had no chicken left - WT# -They are known for chicken and they are out? This is now the 2nd time that Ive experience that, so I asked for a manager and a young girl came with attitude and said they were simply out and turned around. When paying for my drinks she said again she was the owners daughter and that she was sure she would ssee us back... Hell no!

I always stop in here when Im visiting Appleton. The tamales, pollo asado, empanads, all delicious. The store is brightly colored so be prepared. They also have lots of fresh ice cream and popsicle treats that are all delicious.If you want real Mexican food, stop here and ignore all the other places in town, this is all you need!

Let me first start by saying how amazing there margaritas are! Specifically the House Margarita. I’m from Chicago and I came to visit some family Sunday morning, and I decided to stop by for a quick bite. I wasn’t sure what the place was all about, I remember it being a Fazolis back in my day so I figured why not check it out! I got the chipotle chimichanga and it was delicious the meat couldn’t have been cooked any better! The service was a nice bonus to their restaurant, she served my needs very politely and made time to greet me genuinely before taking my order, despite how busy the place was. I will definitely be going back on my next visit! The only thing that threw me off was the amount of people that were not wearing masks....
Very fast survive! Two of us went in and we ordered, ate and left within a half hour. Juicy chicken and delicious meals. Staff is so friendly. We never have a bad experience

Got the Charlie burrito and it honestly was nothing but onions from the pico. It was disgusting, so I ended up having to throw away this huge burrito.

My husband and I love the tacos here! My favorite is the shrimp tacos!! Everything else on the menu is just meh in my opinion. They have an amazing selection of hot sauce, salsa, and some pickled veggies! Mmmm!!!The ice cream is super good and we lovvvvve their water based ice cream (mangonada, tamarindnada, etc.)Love their tres leches cake! You can pick your own slice from their fridge (I like to pick my slice since I dont like the end pieces).I also love their mojito and get it once in a while since its pretty expensive.

Best authentic Mexican food in the valley! There have been Soo many restaurants at this location that have tried and failed. I see exactly why chicken palace has not failed and probably never will. Great food and an AMAZING selection of authentic Mexican deserts and ice cream. Id rate 10 stars if I could! I know it sounds super basic but you need to try the steak tacos with onions cilantro and salsa Verde.
Food was great! Service was mediocre. They were missing something from our order. Didnt refill my soda. And forgot to bring us extra salsa and a to go box. There was only three other tables full. Not like the were busy.
Great portions of pretty tasty stuff. I had the Marco Polo enchiladas the first time I went. This time I had chicken Chilaquiles with green sauce. It was great!

This place is pretty good and offers a large variety of foods, a large menu overall. They also offer a Taco Johns-style salsa bar in which they have several salsas that range in flavors and spice. Its not the cheapest Mexican food around, but the portions are decently large. I had three tacos and each were good in their regards. The one thing stopping me from rating this place a 5-star is that our service was a little slow, but friendly nonetheless.
As always, the food is excellent and the service is excellent and the margaritas are great!

Messed up my take out order so that I was forced to leave work to pickup the part of it they missed.To compensate, they did issue a gift certificate.Neither great nor terrible, if this is a rare circumstance.
Fresh and delicious. Probably the best Mexican food in the Fox Cities. Family friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They also have an amazing dessert island to choose from.
Horrible service, brought out one drink and it took 15 minutes before we got the other one, food was horrible of what we did actually get. Ordered fajitas that did not come with shrimp got it brought to me twice with shrimp after they initially just picked out the shrimp after being told I cant have seafood. The waitress got an attitude and refused to give us a bill without the messed up order.

Hidden gem of the valley.The three times I visited the food was very good. It also has an ice cream stand in the center of the restaurant. A good option if the other popular place down the street (Soleas) is too crowded.

I am currently sitting in this restaurant right now. Horrible service the waitress didn’t even bring us forks. We had to walk up and ask someone else for them. We didn’t get chips and salsa tell we were seated for already 20min and then we didn’t get a refill on chips at all and I even asked and she never brought them out. My fajita quesadilla wasn’t even grilled correctly the vegetable were barely cooked. Very disappointed never coming back. The young lady was focusing on every other table but ours. I had to ask a 3rd time to get chips and then we finally got them. My food wasn’t even warm. We had to order our food at the front. It was a disaster and I’m for sure not leaving a tip.
