We brought in one of two mini recliners to see how much it would cost to recover. Although the chairs are in great shape (they are about 30 years old), the fabric is faded and needs to be changed. Alas, the structure is simply plywood & changing the cushioning would cost way too much.How do we know? Peter, the owner told us the truth.He is very down to earth and honest. Peter also made recommendations on supporting other family owned businesses- so well definitely refer others to him and will be back, too

I have used Loza Upholstery for years and recommended them to all my friends. They are especially careful with antique furniture and Ive had them help me design window seats for a new study which turned out beautifully. My most recent project was a complicated pair of lattice-backed leather chairs with matching pillows and seat/arm tacking to match the originals. They were complete rebuilds from the frame up and turned into masterpieces!

We had some vintage chairs reupholstered there and they came out beautifully. Those wooden chair frames got a new a life and didnt end up in a landfill...win-win

I went here for the first time based on the reviews.. I spoke to a Bill to inquire about redoing my couch cushions. Bill took all the information he said he needed such as measurement, width of foam in cushion and I left a business card for him to contact. I asked if he needed for me to fill out anything and he said no that they would have the cushion insert/foam completed in two week and it was standard size inserts. I left a one small couch pillow so they could see if they could get the material in the event I decided to redo the entire sofa. I call back a week and half later to inquire and met the owner who was extremely rude. Did not know anything about my conversation with his employee and basically said too bad . I was a bit surprised that the owner would conduct himself so unprofessionally, not want to take responsibility for his employee very, very poor service with their customer and then he simply hug up on me. Not very professional and not a place to get furniture upholstered, bad attitude, bad service =bad work.
